I went to Sladky Family Dental for a second opinion and Dr. Sladky got me in right away, took xrays and explained everything in detail with an eye on the bigger picture. I went back in the next morning for the procedure and it went smoothly. I greatly appreciate the nitrous oxide to take the edge off dental surgery, and the experience was relatively painless. Dr. Sladky was very thorough, thoughtful, and receptive to my questions and concerns and laid out a logical plan for my teeth. I have found my dentist in Dr. Sladky and am extremely grateful for it.

Fantastic experience: Very good work! 12/10 I was extremely nervous about my appointment, because it’s been a very long time since I’ve visited Dr Sladky. So I needed more time to ask questions and to get comfortable once I was there, so, I’m sure that the team had to adjust, to accommodate all the extra time I took, yet I didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable. Dr Sladky took very good care of me making sure I was good through the whole procedure. His team were all patient, understanding, and supportive. I am certain that they will get my dental health back on track because of all of their positivity and encouragement. That meant a lot to me, I appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sladky is very personable and knowledgeable. He makes crowns in his office which lessens the needs for multiple office visits. His assistants are friendly and cheerful, which always makes sitting in the dental chair more enjoyable. And his office is centrally located so it should be easy to access for nearly everyone. Positive experience: I went to find relief from my pain. I was very disappointed that I left in the same condition I arrived in. He had no solution for me and suggested I receive a root canal from a specialist!? If you’re looking for a GENERAL dentist this is the place. Anything more than that it’s a HARD PASS. I do want add and say that the assistant was very nice and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I called to change my semi annual cleaning appt that was originally scheduled for June 26th and they were able to get me in this afternoon instead. That worked great for me. My cleaning went well. Dr. Sladky did teeth photos with a wand which was pretty cool. We talked about possible future issues. And I left with extra clean teeth. This was my first cleaning with my new dentist; my previous one was no longer covered with my insurance. It’s always hard to change dentists but my experience has been great so far. I like Dr. Sladky!

Fantastic experience: All was going great but when we got to my bottom tooth it turns out it was a hot tooth, the doc kept his cool even after I forced his hands out of my mouth. He kept working until I was completely numb and finished the extraction. I'll be going to these guys until the day I die! Five stars is not enough they deserve 20!

After being established with a different dentist for many years while in college and continuing to drive to Lake Country, the drive was no longer feasible with a growing family. After asking around, I received a number of recommendations for Dr. Sladky, so I figured I'd try him out. His staff was so warm and welcoming. The dental hygienist was very friendly and considerate of all dental needs. Dr. Sladky himself was very personable and thorough with his explanations. I love that I could see everything up on the screen while we were looking at my x-rays and that they take a 'watch' approach for certain teeth instead of wanting to do work right away. As mentioned earlier, I now consider him 'my dentist', which is such a relief to have found in my own neighborhood. I'd highly recommend going to see Dr. Sladky and his team today as they are a great asset to the North Shore Community.

Fantastic experience: was looking for a new dentist. Made an appt with Sladky Family Dental. My hygeinist was super nice. She took my x-rays and explained what problem areas she found. I have sensitive teeth and she did a great gentle job of cleaning my teeth. when my cleaning was done, Dr Sladky came in to look at my teeth and x-rays. He showed me the problem areas on my x-rays and explained what needed to be taken care of and all my options. Everyone made me feel very relaxed during my visit. Looking forward to my next visit !

Fantastic experience: I always lived in horrifying fear of the dentist, and as a result deeply neglected my teeth. I’m so incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Sladky and his team. I originally called for an emergency appointment while I was pregnant with an infected tooth. They took great care of me and were incredibly patient. During that appointment he assessed my teeth and let me know everything that was going on. It was… not great. But neither he, nor his team once made me feel shamed for the state of my teeth. We made a plan and moved forward. As I sit here, currently with ice on my face after a giant cavity fill and two wisdom teeth extractions, I can still say they did a great job at making me feel comfortable. I never felt like they were charging me unnecessarily or adding things on I didn’t need. There’s always transparency about pricing. Go see them!

Been going here before Dr. Sladky took over and when he did, the professionalism, price, expertise and overall good feel remained strong and any changes were positive. I wouldn't go anywhere else! To add to this previous post.. today I brought my 2.5 year old in and Laura was absolutely phenomenal, as was Dr. Jake. I wanted to find somewhere closer to home for family dentistry, but the way they were with Jacob today... we'll definitely be making the trek. Couldn't recommend them more from adult to toddler care. We're lifers:)

Beyond that, their dental assistants, receptionists, everyone, absolutely everyone at Sladky Dental is phenomenal. They're friendly, welcoming, and highly skilled. Lets be honest, a trip to the dentist is probably near the bottom of anyone's "fun things to do" list, but the team makes booking your appointment, and the appointment itself, very easy, and very comfortable. She was friendly but I was most impressed with her knowledge. Dr. Sladky was also very knowledgeable, friendly and communicated his observations and concerns. They both made recommendations for my dental care without pushing me into additional services. I felt they presented their recommendations without pressure.

Fantastic experience: Great, Dr Sladky texted me in the evening after I left office a msg. My crown brook off, and I just wanted help on what to do. Figured if he gets msg to me the next day, that is fine. Got back to me in 60 minutes and had appt for next day. All was well and fixed in 30 minutes, Dr Sladky was very nice.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous the first time I walked into Dr. Sladky's office. At 42, my teeth had fallen into a bad state. I absolutely would not, under any circumstance, show my teeth to anyone and my self confidence had dropped severely because of that. I fully expected to have Dr. Sladky tell me that there would be nothing he could do for most of my teeth. Contrary to every negative outcome I thought would be the case, Dr. Sladky assured me there was much he could do to restore my smile and I eagerly jumped into what would be the best decision I have ever made with regard to my dental health. Dr. Sladky has transformed my teeth from being quite literally the source of my self confidence deficit to a smile I don't think twice about showing the world. Fantastic experience: My whole family has gone here for years and the quality of care and concern patient comfort is through the roof! I haven’t had a cavity filled since I was a little girl. I went in for some fillings last week and I was surprised at how nice of an experience it was. I was dreading it (as most people usually dread these things). I got there and sat down there a tv screen over my head with endless Netflix options, a blanket to stay cozy/warm, and sunglasses to keep the bright dentist lights out of my eyes. I watched a show about exotic vacations (recommended by staff there) and had a great conversation with Dr. Sladky about his time spent in Europe. Before I knew it the thing was over and my anxiety was at 1% compared to what I remember when I was little!!! Next time I go in for dental work I will not dread it as much. Dr. Sladky and his team are so caring!! You and your family will be in in good hands here!!

Fantastic experience: Always on time! This is important to us as we drive an hour to come to this office. Jody always greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome right as you enter the office. All the hygienists are great! Dr Sladky is very knowledgable and caring. He takes the time to explain the care plans for my kids and let’s me be involved so I can have a clear understanding. There is great communication between this office and our orthodontist!
