Fantastic experience: Everyone was very kind and professional. You're greeted with a warm smile as soon as you walk in. I really felt like they care about me as a patient. The hygienist and dentist took their time with me. They explained everything thoroughly. I didn't feel rushed, like I was at a fast food restaurant. ( In and out ) I highly recommend Hampton Dental Associates to everyone. Although it's a dentist office, they make you feel welcomed and at home. Excellent care and service.

Positive experience: All the staff are friendly and helpful. Ryia Mel & Jackie are wonderful I lov them always friendly I feel like family when i see them. Ryia is the best at cleaning teeth. Excellent!!!!! She gets 100 stars. Explains to you your cleaning health care. Dr. Rick is awesome. Excellent at what he does. Explains everything to you so you know what's going on with your teeth health. But be careful with getting partials made mind don’t match my real teeth my partial is 2 different colors.

Negative experience: I wasn’t going to write a review but I don’t appreciate the service I received. I came here for a new pt appt afterwards I decided I did not want to continue treatment here for a few reasons. I found a new dentist and I filed out a pt info release form for them to send over ALL my x-rays to the new dentist. They did not send over all the x-rays only the pan. Resulting in me having to now pay my new dentist almost $200 because they did not send everything over. I believe it was done spitefully.

Fantastic experience: People are friendly and professional. They are always up on new dental procedures and the facility is always clean. I have been a client for at least 30 years.

Positive experience: Three weeks ago, I needed to see a dentist about a very loose tooth. I was fortunate to get in the next day. They conducted a x-ray, provided a diagnosis, issued a prescription for antibiotics, and referred me to Oral Surgery in Waukesha. I followed up two weeks later with Dr Winters to check on the hearing from the extraction. Considering that he is booked out for months, I am appreciative for his willingness to care for my dental health during an emergency, as a private pay patient.

Fantastic experience: I believe I seen Dr. Winter; He is everything you would want in a dentist. I was concerned about a bridge another dentist put it. He actually looked at my teeth, he wasn’t rude, or judge mental, and gave me really good advice. I think he truly cares about his patients. I plan to start all over with a new smile, and if it’s anyone I’d spend my money with to do this, it is him.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with them for an emergency (never being a patient of theirs before). They were very helpful and informative. Their staff was very kind. Considering I had to drive an hour and a half, I was not disappointed. They instantly gave me antibiotics for my infection and set me up with someone to get the extractions done that I need. Would recommend!

I was nervous about the tooth pain that I was having, she let me know that I would be in good hands. When I meet her in person she was AWESOME!! Negative experience: *edit after response from provider*: my issue has nothing to do with the appointment. I’m fully aware of what was done, what I consented to, and issues with insurance. I never expect insurance to cover anything, and the bill itself is not my issue. I’m happy to pay for services provided. My issue is there was ZERO communication from the office regarding the bill. No attempt to send me a bill, no attempt to email, or call, to collect on the bill. Instead it was just sent to collections. Sounds like an oversight on the office, but instead I pay the price of the bill going to collections. The visit itself was fine. I went for a consultation and they ended up doing a couple other things. The assistants were great! My frustration comes from billing. I asked while I was there, what the charge was and they told me they would bill insurance and then send me a bill. Only they never did. Then they sent me to collections instead. So, if you do go see them, I would advise you follow up with them to see if you have a balance. That was my mistake to not follow up. Frustrating, as I’ve never had a bill go to collections before. They also had my phone number so it’s not like I wasn’t able to be reached. Disappointed.

Positive experience: The office staff and the dental team made me feel comfortable, in a very uncomfortable situation. Going to the dentist can be scary. Thanks for being our neighborhood dentist!

I've never felt as if Dr. Rick was trying to upsell me on anything. I do have fillings that need to be replaced or such and he always does a great job. I plan to continue coming here until he retires and perhaps beyond.

Fantastic experience: Michael!!! Michael!!! Michael!!! Of the 3 men I’ve visited coming here, he was my absolute favorite! Instantly made me feel comfortable and welcome and not like a client. It was all good vibes. Very friendly and very honest. My time with him went by so fast and I can only hope to get him EVERYTIME from now on. I am 5 1/2 months pregnant and came in for a tooth extraction. This guy was my knight in armor of scrubs! He had me IN & OUT literally! Couldn’t have been more a more pleasant visit. I've been going here for many years, and from the moment I walk in and am greeted with Jackie's kindness at the front desk, I feel at ease. Dr. Rick is incredibly talented, honest & upfront and one of the most warm hearted people I've ever met. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences and excellent dental work here. The hygienist Rhya is amazing!! She does my cleanings and whitening and is the absolute best. Super friendly and incredibly good at what she does. Dr. Rick's assistant, Julie, is so wonderful! She's fun and sweet, and she and Dr. Rick work so well together that you feel completely comfortable. HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic experience: I needed an in-depth cleansing (beneath gums) due to no dentist visit these last two years of Covid. Although I was somewhat dreading it, the hygienist made it painless, and actually quite enjoyable. The appointment was kept right on time. Jamie was an enjoyable conversationalist (when my mouth wasn’t blocked open!), she always explained the task she was performing and she answered all my questions about routine care.

Positive experience: Very nice and polite would give 5 but I haven't got my work done yet but my concern is the dentist that seen me knew I was in pain I ask him for pain medication for 1 to 3 days until the antibiotics start to work he told me he wasn't gone do it call my physician and ask him to do it I can't believe this guy said that and he is the one seeing me wow how inconsiderate and dental neglect basically he said he would give me powerful ibuprofen which I told him I couldn't take I'm allergic he gave me no alternative and basically said fight through the pain the antibiotics gone work eventually I never want him to see me again I'm coming back to get my work done cause I heard good things about the owner etc so I hope the dentist that does my work to my teeth have some compassion because he doesn't at all thanks...

Fantastic experience: I love the level of respect that was given to my tooth situation. The staff set a timeline to get myself some relief. In addition to a referral and a quick appointment. Just to been seen by a dentist in a timely fashion (post Covid) has become a huge battle. I have no problem supporting a place that is as excepting and understating as this office and staff

Negative experience: Came here to compare treatment options and pricing with two other places/doctors. Front desk was incredibly rude, and insisted on $160 for the consult and xray. I paid. Once in the chair I was told that I would need to pay for a different scan before I could be quoted. Then, contrary to what is all over their website, they immediately tried to bait me into one, very expensive option. I was frequently interrupted when I started asking questions Dr.Richard didn't want to answer like "is there any option between dentures and $45k" He doesn't give you options. He doesn't want to answer questions, and has a serious ego problem when challenged. When I told him that I am comparing him with two others, he got very rude and started to bash them. Without knowing who they were, he had a lot of negative things to say. For $160 I got a 30 second x-ray and a sales pitch that would put a used car or timeshare salesman to shame. He even tried to further pressure me into another appointment 15 mins after I left, by personally calling me. To be clear, two different, equally qualified peers, same experience, graduated from comparable or better colleges quoted me half. I'm not lying, half. They were both kind, and sympathetic. They also gave me more than one option. Their staffs were nice and plesent, their offices were modern and didn't feel like being buzzed into a 20 yr old pawn shop. They were also local, Wisconsin implant specialists, not a chain or corporation. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was greeted with a friendly smile when I arrived. Although I had a short wait, my hygienist apologized, acknowledging the value of my time. She explained that my dentist had moved and a new one had joined the practice, then introduced me before he performed the oral cancer screening and exam. He was thorough and made sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The cleaning was painless and I got my choice of toothpaste flavor. Overall a wonderful experience!

Positive experience: I had a dental emergency and was able to get in right away. The reception was giving my primary dentist a hard time with sending InforMation I approved for release. Other than that, everything went well and I was able to to reduce the pain I was experiencing. & nice music ❤️

Negative experience: Came in to fix the pain from previous fillings, came in to fix one problem for them to give me another tooth problem. They ended up Filing down a tooth now tooth six hits the bottom and that’s already irritating me now. Because you filed something down to much. I asked can it be put back to how it was. Was told no. Then proceeded to ignore my now new concern you just caused and say I he had other patients to get to.! Then told me I should schedule another appointment.

Negative experience: I went into this dental office today as my dental crown came off over the weekend. Dr. Richard Winter was extremely rude, condescending, and overall disrespectful to me(as he always is). After explaining, I would have to have the tooth extracted, he discussed with me other treatment options, as well as, a flouride treatment, that's sold in office. I asked questions about this treatment and how to apply it, he offered a brief explanation and stated "I don't care if you get it or not!" He also handed me back, stating "here you can keep this as a souvenir!" I don't care how many certifications, and accolades you have hanging in your office, the way you make people feel is what's ultimately most important. Needless to say, I will NEVER step foot in Hampton Dental ever again!! The treatment I received today was SO unethical and unprofessional! Needless, to say I left Hampton Dental feeling defeated and worse than I did going in. I'm looking forward to a more professional, comfortable, and mutually relationship with my new dental provider. I will miss my dental hygienist, and the sweet office worker Nelida who was so busy, yet worked so hard to make sure all patients felt welcomed today. Arrogance has no place in a professional atmosphere where people are entrusting their dental health to you and your staff! By the way, Dr. Winters, I'm a Heath care professional too and would never treat my clients the way you treated me.

Fantastic experience: Very nice customer service and the dentist and hygienist are wonderful so far, you can tell the difference from having state insurance to not. Went back to see Dr. Winter today 5/19/2022 what an awesome Dentist! Have you ever heard the saying you’re in good hands with AllState? Well that’s him! My Husband have a very bad toothache and I call to ask if they do walk in, they prefer by appointment but was able to squeeze my husband In.everything was so quick didn’t even have to wait that long and that’s a A+ to me. Negative experience: The receptionist (older lady with dark hair) I wish I could remember her name was/is very rude. She has overstepped her bounds one too many times. The hygienist was the only saving grace for this place...hence the one star. He was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous when I went. I didn't know what to expect. The dentist explained and broke down everything on what's about to happen in an effort to comfort me. He reassured me if I was uncomfortable at anytime to let him know and we can take a break. He warned me if there may be pressure or pain....overall he was great!

The Dental Personal, Tracy, seem to go out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the duration of the procedure, which I really appreciated ... We all know how stressful a dental visit can be for some of us ... But the staff at Hampton Dental enabled me to relax almost immediately due to their pleasant and caring attitude. I would definitely recommend them to any & everyone.
