Negative experience: I was with Miller Dental Group for 4+ years and have been very happy with them up until the last year. The hygienist was rude, pushy. I requested a different one. My insurance changed with my employer on 01/01/26, I called the office and gave them my new information and was told that they would work with me since they were out of network. That was great because I don't like finding new dentist (due to horrible experience). I called back the month before my next cleaning to get a predetermination on some work that was needing done. The lady stated that she did not see any information about my new Insurance and then proceeded to get my information again and i text it to her as well. She said she did receive it. Then I receive a call the day before my appointment and was told that my insurance is no longer accepted when I asked what insurance she told me the old insurance. I proceeded to tell her that i have called in two times already and gave my new insurance information and requested a predetermination for some work. She said that they can't do that since they are out of network. Why was I not told this the second time I called that they cant. Then she proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay 100% for my cleaning and that as a courtesy they would file my insurance. This is very unprofessional to call the day before my appointment which is three months from January. So they had plenty of notice and time to let me know. I am very disappointed and now I am having to try and find a dentist and now my cleaning is going to be further out and late.

Thanks 1/29/25 Great visit today with dental hygienist, Leigh. Very gentle and kind lady. Dr. Spivey did an exam, nice guy. A very efficient office. Thanks everyone . 2/4/25 I had a crown replaced today & after the prep the crown was made within 45mins. & ready to be cemented. Awesome job by Andrea & Dr. Duffy. Also, great seeing their sweet office manager Lauren. Thanks again 4/18/25 Another great visit with Dr Duffy and assistant. Didn’t take long at all. Thanks 7/30/25 Great visit to have a cleaning with Leigh. Very professional and friendly staff. 2/12/26 Great visit today with Leigh & Dr Duffy. All staff are very nice and helpful.

Negative experience: New insurance, made a cleaning appointment, any problems, yes, my bite is off. Went at 11 am, got x rays and a cleaning. Very thorough. Hygienist also asked any problems, yes, bite is off, no worries, we can take care of that free of charge today. Dr. comes in, chats, any problems, yes bite is off, as was told when setting appointment and on my paperwork. Tells me I need to go to an endocrinologist to verity if I need a root canal and then she would do the crown on one tooth. Another tooth also needs a crown. I was at my old dentist 6 months ago and wasn't any issues, but I agree it should be considered. Okay, got a outline of cost for the two crowns. Okay, can you adjust my bite, no, another Dr. is out today and I have a tough case to get to, they can schedule you for another time, leaves, hygienist says maybe later today. I got to the counter, paid for the day, never asked if I could come back later. I asked for my x rays, waited until I received by email, and left at 1 pm. Now I never, ever was treated like this before. Two hours in the chair and a big bill with insurance to have more work done. Now I have had a lot of work done by dentists and to simply correct a bite is not that hard, blue paper, drill it down. She was a fast talker and got through the thousands for additional work, but could not accommodate a simple, maybe 10 minutes or less to fix my bite. One Star, I can pay thousands to another dentist. They will never touch my mouth again. Shameful. Then I get a call from the office manager because of a one star review and remarked that I wasn't happy about getting my bite fixed. I'm not calling them back to explain, it was just because of a complete and honest review and probably the loss of thousands for continuing work. Stay far away, there are many great dentists available, ones I wished still took my new insurance, but I will find one that can simply put a piece of blue paper in my mouth and drill a bite that is off. Again, shameful.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Miller Dental Group in Savannah, Georgia. I had implant surgery 13 years ago for all my uppers. I am 74 years old. My experience at Miller Dental Group was the best dentist experience in my life. The staff was so professional and the service rented was incredible.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Duffy is the best. She has such good bedside manners and is so sweet. I came into Millers dental office in Savannah. Duffy is a decent dentist and gives the patient very good awareness of the procedure which I find is the best part of her. She’s collaborative in other words. She has a sense for the patient and making them comfortable(ethical prescription). Madison her dental assistant was also very good. The lady coming into have me sign off on the information was very nice/kind and mannerly. The overall experience was amazing from the front door to exiting the place. The music was mostly great. The vibe was fantastic. The program on the TV at the front was quaint, lively, and relaxing. You must get your teeth tended to at Millers dental office. He hires the best personnel. It’s a very clean and refreshing experience.

We found all that, and more, in Dr Micah Spivey at Miller Dental Group, and his team Dr Spivey quickly diagnosed my issues and put together a plan for us to follow that I have.complete confidence will address all my needs. We are working through the plan, and the results to date are great. I first worked with Austin, Dr Spivey’s assistant, who introduced me to the office, took X-rays, discussed what to expect during and after the procedures, as well as options for payments. Austin was both compassionate and supportive, understanding my concerns based on my prior dental experiences. My husband (by Julie) and I (by Morgan) each had our teeth cleaned. Both Morgan and Julie were, by far, the best and most personable technicians my husband and I have had. Fantastic experience: If you want superior service and a fabulously friendly environment, Miller is for you. I had an old crown that was giving me trouble, trapping food between and under it, constantly painful after almost every meal. They fixed it on-site, fabricating a replacement while I waited, instead of having me come back later. I can only attribute the results to the accuracy of their scanners and the resulting perfect fit replacement. No spaces above and around the gum line, and the relief I have at no longer having such ongoing pain is a huge incalculable relief. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Duffy, her awesome assistant Andrea, and the wonderfully friendly Front Desk Staff! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Went in for my first visit and was very nervous because I have not had great experience with dentists and have not been in a few years. The entire staff was incredible. They pre-checked my insurance, knew exactly what was and was not covered, broke down price for out of pocket items (which were very affordable xrays), and operated very efficiently. My technician was so nice and clearly read my file before coming in; I did not feel like a number. They made me feel right at home and the dentist himself was very nice and professional. Fantastic experience: I been going to the Miller Dentistry for a few years now and was under the watch of Dr. Yarbrough which took excellent care of me. He unfortunately left the praxis. After that I didn't received the care I was used too and actually wanted to leave after I had a unpleasant encounter with a Female Dental Assistant. It was brought to the attention of Dr. Spivey and Austin (Dr?) both apologized and took extra special care of me, the BEST I ever had there. They even went a couple extra steps further to make things right and pleasant for me again. I have only good things to say now. The whole Staff is very friendly. Worth the 1 hr drive. Dr. Spivey is by far a excellent Dentist that cares for his patients.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Miller Dental today was awesome Going to the dentist is usually not the most enjoyable experience however I’m always happy every 6 months to see my hygienist and friend Cortney . She is amazing!!! It’s always a joy to hear Cindy’s welcoming voice and see her smile when I enter the building. I saw Dr Heather Duffy, along with her dental assistant, Andrea. They make the best team! I had to get a crown on tooth #2 & I'm telling you it was an absolutely % painless experience! I felt so completely comfortable the entire time! They even provided eye comfort and a soft blankie for me during the procedure! At the end, my new crown fit perfectly! Just like the glass slipper on Cinderella's foot! . I LOVE this dental office! & I actually can't wait to see them again! Dr Duffy is the " Queen of Comfort!!" What an Amazing 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ Experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have the WORST dental anxiety in the world!! I moved to Savannah, Ga in 2001, I had a cap that came out in the bottom back of my mouth but I was still able to put it back it in because I was TERRIFIED to go to the dentist!! It had been out about a month & began to hurt, I started Googling dentist & somehow Miller Dentist Group came up after about 10 others I had called..Cindy is who I initially spoke with I told her I was in excruciating pain & AFRAID..it was 9am she was so comforting & understanding & asked could I be there at 10am..I said im on the way I live around the corner. She helped me fill out my paperwork told me about a finance plan to go along with my insurance at this point I just needed to get out of pain. The dental assistant that came in name was Gethsemane, I asked her to repeat it, I then asked her if it was from the Bible she said yes..I said Thank You Lord, besides Cindy I KNOW I'm in the right place! The Dr came in Dr Duffy(Heaven Sent) after xrays she explained things to me asked me what I WANTED to do save or extract the tooth..she got me out of pain with injections that I DID NOT FEEL gave me antibiotics(the tooth was infected)& pain meds this was on Friday I was back on Monday at 8am. Cindy was off but called to tell the staff to let me know she was thinking of meMy dental assistant Monday was Andrea she was just as good as Gethsemane..when Dr Duffy numbed my mouth once again I felt absolutely NOTHING!! Normally when you get a root canal you have to come back..not there..EVERYTHING IS DONE THE SAME DAY!!! When I tell you the ladies up front who are the face of the business have the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICEErinn helped me at the end closing out my bill...The ENTIRE STAFF makes you feel like family! If The Miller Dental Group wants to EVER do a commercial I would do it free of charge!! THEY ARE AWESOME!! I will be back on the 11th for my cleaning! They have a new patient/family member!! I can not thank Dr Duffy & Staff ENOUGH for making my "dental anxiety" disappear & making my new dental experience WONDERFUL☺️❤️ I Pray You ALL So Much Peace✌& So Many Blessings Sincerely, Wendy Smoot-Lee

Fantastic experience: Somehow I managed to break a tooth late Thursday night. The pain was unbearable. Luckily my son was able to schedule an appointment for me on Friday. They were able to get the pain to ease with antibiotics and a mild pain reliever. Today, Monday I was back in their office. They pulled the bad tooth out without much pain. I am very thankful they were available to take care of my dental problems so quickly. The dental hygienist and the dentist were excellent. From a person that dreds dental procedures, this wasn't bad at all. Thank you!

But everyone has different opinions on who they see, as I never had to second guess my decision about Miller Dental Group. My overall grade about this clinic is an A plus, followed by three bold stars behind it. Morgan was who me and my mother seen today, and she was excellent overall.

Fantastic experience: I has heard good things about Dr. Spivey who works at Miller Dental, so we thought we would try them out. I am so glad we did! We have has many bad dental visits in the past, but this one was FANTASTIC! The staff is absolutely top notch and Dr Spivey was as well! So much so, I recommended my daughter there as well! They both need double digit thousand dollars worth of work but they told us about different plans that would work with the finance end. My kids are ages 28 and 31 and are both very happy they chose this dentist! When I get situated with their teeth, I will be going there as well! They actually listen to their patients and do what's best for them. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 20!

Fantastic experience: Amazing is the best word for this place! I had an emergency when my front crown fell off. They made me an appointment immediately and were so attentive and up front about everything. I didn’t end up using their services because my home dentist could do it cheaper and they were completely understanding and supportive

Fantastic experience: Morgan, my hygienist, is so sweet and talented at what she does. Usually going to the dentist is a terrible experience for most but this team makes every single interaction feel professional and welcoming. They have the best xray technology too, helps me understand my teeth health in detail. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Emergency extractions, I was already schedule for an appointment, but the pain became so intense and unbearable. I called Early that morning got an appointment @ the Pooler office Dr.Spivey was amazing. He did everything necessary and go through the process because My anxiety is Always a 10! The healing fashions went perfectly. I had 2 teeth extracted BTW. I’ve always had to be sedated usually, but this Experience for an extraction wasn’t bad. Thanks so much DR. SPIVEY AND STAFF!
