Fantastic experience: I have been to two other dentists who both quoted me insanely high prices to fix my teeth. Monarch offered me a better solution for the short term and for the health of my mouth as a whole in the long term, that is less painful, less expensive, and far less invasive. I am now paying less for the entire produce I need done than I would have paid to have 1 tooth done at the other places. I am so grateful that I found Monarch and Dr. Lacey. They were also playing Christian music in the office which I thought was amazing.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! The office has very professional and courteous staff. They take great care of you, from the initial call for your first appointment to your first xrays and initial deep cleaning. They are with you all the way, making sure you are taken care of and fully understand your treatment. I absolutely love Dr Nicolds. She has great bedside manners and is very much about high quality care. She will not rest until she is 100% sure about her work. She's truly a keeper (thought I had lost her when my new insurance forced me to switch dentists...sooo glad i found her, especially because I was in the middle of treatment...she picked up right where she left off without skipping a beat!)

Fantastic experience: Had a thorough but gentle prophylactic cleaning by Isabel at my appt. She advised that I use a water flossing device to clean the hard to reach gum crevices in my back molars and even recommended a low cost brand and model to purchase. Paisley did a great job of obtaining my medical/dental history and vital signs and was very warm and welcoming. I look forward to going back every four months for routine cleaning.

Fantastic experience: We were greeted by smiles and helpful front end personal. The assistant who took my x-rays was very professional and very kind. The hygienist was very nice and explained what treatments were needed, and the doctor was professional and very nice. I have always been so nervous about dentist or procedures due to a past experience many many years ago. And from that it lead to me not getting the car I have needed for years. UNTIL NOW!!!! The staff explains everything from start to finish, step by step! If I have any questions or issue (adjustments needed) they answer with details and make sure my adjustments are just right! They pay attention to their clients and are so pleasant and cheerful throughout the process. From the moment you open the office door all the way until you leave - it’s so welcoming. You don’t feel like just “another client” but instead you feel like an individual with concerns and someone actually listening! Fantastic experience: Doc, the front desk and all the helper bees are courteous, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend Monarch Dental. Dr Silva in Abilene TX office pulled a tooth in prep for a bridge. I didn't feel a thing. I asked if he got the tooth out and he said "It's been out for about 45 seconds now..." I definitely HIGHLY recommend Monarch and the entire staff.

Negative experience: This place has gone down hill in the past year. Last November I called due to needing a tooth pulled and the fastest I could be seen was 3 weeks away. I used another dentist in that time because who can wait 3 weeks for a painful tooth? I still kept my cleaning appointment because it took 3months to be seen by the hygienist in the first place. Currently I made an appointment in September for a tooth I was having issues with and again, it would take 3 weeks to be seen. I received a call back a week before the appointment just to be told the Dr. would not be in that day. We rescheduled for this Friday October 24th. I just now get a call that the Dr. will not be in again and they will have to reschedule for November 13th. This place is a joke do not waste your time. Thank goodness I had forgot to cancel anyways because Smile Crafters was able to get me in 2 days after I called and I have already been taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist has got to be right up there w/publis speaking as something most people don't like to do. Yet, the staff & professionals at Monarch have eliminated my apprehension/fear/dread of these necessary appointments; and, I now actually look forward to my next appointment! You expect professionalism from any medical office, but professionalism doesn't calm your anxiety. I've been going to Monarch for the last three yrs; and, their staff are very warm, friendly & caring people who have put my fears to rest. For ME to say all this speaks volumes as I used to be the biggest chicken when it came to dentistry. Give Monarch a try, you'll be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: After a horrible experience with another nationally recognized dental group, I found Smiles. I was treated with respect and listened to. I was advised that I indeed had a broken tooth which explained all my pain that I had been experiencing over the last 10 days and NOT an infection in my gums. Dr. Hayek and his assistant were exceptional and addressed what was causing excruciating pain and then offered advice addressing other issues I had going on. I walked out pain free, until the numbing wore off of course, but was given something for pain management. I am so happy I found this practice and will definitely tell others about it.

Fantastic experience: My son went to college in Abilene and we needed to get him set up, but my schedule wasn't allowing me to be able to travel down during his first appointment. As a momma bear, this made me worried. (Yes, I know, I gotta let them fly on their own! But still, it made me nervous!) I had zero reason to fret though as Heather and the team took amazing care of him!!! Heathers communication and follow through is what every parent hopes for during their kids first appointment by themselves. I can't thank her and the staff enough for taking care of him! Fantastic experience: This was my 6 month checkup and cleaning. The staff was friendly and professional as always. They checked me right in a few minutes early and immediately got me back in the room with my hygienist.,My hygienist was very friendly and nice remembering me from 6 months ago. She did a great job and also conducted an oral cancer screening which at my age is probably a great thing to do. I always enjoy the staff at Monarch who treat us like family.

Negative experience: The dentist is amazing and I will be following him as he is leaving this practice soon. But the staff is misleading about pricing over the phone and about whether or not they accept care credit. They do, but they won’t let you sign up for their insurance and pay for it using care credit. Which they were also didn’t clarify on the phone before I went in for my appointment. The misinformation to me is deceitful and wrong, I will never suggest this place to anyone and i will never return there for dental services.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Krause was professional and thorough. I came in with tooth pain expecting there to be a severe issue, but he studied and discussed my x-rays with me, completed a thorough examination of my teeth, and it turned out to be minor. He put my mind at ease. Amber also is very professional and kind, and did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth, also providing me with advice on dental care. The front office staff and technicians were all kind and did an excellent job excellent job.

Office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Had teeth cleaned yesterday with Amber and probably one of the best cleanings I've ever had done. She seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely friendly as well. Today I had two crowns as well as one filling and what a pleasant experience. Emily, was very nice, professional and attentive and Dr. Kelsey Krause was gentle, caring, explained the process and took his time. I didn't feel rushed at all. They give you your upfront cost so there are no surprises. Thank you all. What a easy and amazing transition.

Worst part was the numbing shots, didnt feel the tooth extraction at all. A++ from walking through the door for my exam, and the extraction. They did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible tooth ache and Dr. Krause got me in immediately and took X-rays and examined the tooth and referred me to Dr. Fike for a root canal to see if we could save the tooth. Unfortunately it was so cracked we couldn’t so Dr. Krause stayed late so he could extract the tooth. I had a traumatic experience with my last extraction so I was very nervous. He was very empathetic to my worries and explained everything in detail what he would be doing so I wouldn’t worry. He numbed me up really well and other than pressure, I didn’t feel a thing. He even showed me my tooth and how far down it had cracked to assure me that was the right decision. In three months I will go back and start the implant process. Dr. Krauses beside manner is top notch! I would recommend everyone I know to him.

Aspen dental is right next door...I went there first about 3 years ago, and I do not recommend them. I'm just sorry I missed Kashawna (probably misspelled) at the front! She has been there since my first appointment at the front desk and she's just amazing!

Fantastic experience: This is the 3rd time I have gone to Monarch Dental. I was nervous about not going to a private practice, but I have received good dental care for a good price. The customer service (from the office to the dental assistants and dentist) has been kind, courteous, and compassionate. At this location, there is that feeling you get at Chikfila—a team approach to giving you a “my pleasure” experience. I have had a “problem tooth” that caused me to return a few times. I don’t feel like they are thinking, “Here she comes again”, but instead I feel the dentist is trying to help me out in the least intrusive way (cost and comfort). I really appreciate that.

Negative experience: Hygienist was available but did not perform the cleaning as discussed. Asked for a teeth cleaning when signing up, and will show up when I can get all three done at once when scheduled. Was confirmed I was going to have a hygiene cleaning on the same day of appointment. After dentist came in, was told to wait and a hygenist will come in the room to perform a cleaning. Waited 30 minutes. Front desk was concerned why I was still in the office and told me to come up front to pay out. Told them my issue and they did not seem concerned, even though I was disappointed with the service I received. Was told I would have to wait 5+ months for a hygienist to be available. Seemed like a workplace where one employee did not know what other employee is doing. Do not recommend. They took my $59 for new customer cost. Last time I will go there. Will not recommend and will point anyone who needs dental services to stay away from this location. However, dentist was nice though.

When I had some discomfort he went another route to make sure I would not be in pain. I have a little bit of soreness but this has to be one of the best extractions I have had. Positive experience: Everybody was very nice all the ladies the doctor seem to have a bad day yesterday not much bedside manner, but knew exactly what he was doing.

Negative experience: Was called back for my appt 25 min after the appt time. There was only one other patient in office at the time. Since I was a new patient, I didn’t really mind. The tech who took my ex-rays clearly didn’t want to be there. She was touching uncovered key boards and her face then putting her fingers in my mouth. I met with the dentist and the hygienist and they were very pleasant. After the appointment, I was given an enormous bill. I asked the front desk, about the math and insurance billing -it didn’t add up, and she said “I don’t know” I went over to another side of desk and got out my calculator and showed them the numbers were incorrect and I was met with “ohh I don’t know”. I left the office after 2 hours of being there, didn’t even receive a cleaning.

Positive experience: Went in for a dental exam and overall the experience was good except for a couple of things. The lady taking my X-rays was very unpleasant. You could tell by her body language and responses to my questions that she either didn’t wanna be there or hates her job. Another lady at the desk that came up with my care plan was rude and condescending when I asked her a question about my bill, threw my whole mood off. The Dentist and dental hygienist were very pleasant and welcoming. If it weren’t for them two I would’ve given 1 star.
