Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with everyone that my wife and myself had contact with during our visit. From the office staff, Dr. Soben and his assistants were very helpful and explained everything in detail. During my examination Dr. Soben made me aware of a potential problem that needs attention before it get worse. Future appointments were made and since we travel from out of town they are working with us on scheduling saving trips. Due to the professionalism, the state of the art equipment and everyone that we had contact with I would highly recommend them.

I successfully made it though an appointment without the use of laughing gas here! Every member of the staff was so friendly and treated you like a friend. Dr. Soben shows a high level of care and concern for our whole family. He explains things to make me more comfortable with what is going on. I see them as friends as much as my dental provider.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sobin is hands down the best dentist in the area. Shelly the dental hygienist is as good as it gets and then some. Nobody likes going to the dentist but going to the best is a game changer.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bogard is making and fitting dentures for my husband. He is very thorough in taking measurements and making sure the dentures fit well. One piece of information that Dr. Bogard has shared everyone needs to know: "dogs will eat anything that humans put in their mouth." This means dentures and mouth guards! Our "free dog" has eaten my husband's lower dentures and my mouth guard. Well over $5000! At least we have a great dentist.

The receptionist was so kind to get me on their schedule quickly showing great compassion for my needs. Jonathan (I hope that’s right) was very sympathetic to my needs, he and the assistant were so gentle with me while I was in excruciating pain with a tooth. The extraction went smoothly and my experience with this group was priceless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars here!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are in Abilene temporarily. I had been here only a few days when my dental partial broke but didn’t know any dentists in the area. No one had any appointments soon except Dr.Soben. When I came in I was greeted by friendly staff and taken back in a timely manner. Dr. Soben was friendly, professional and concerned for my problem and gave me all available options. Once my new partial was ready I came in, and it was adjusted to fit comfortably. As I knew would be, I still needed an adjustment a few days later, called and was able to come in that day; Dr.Soben made the adjustments, and sent me on my way, happy with my partial. The office and staff is also well organized. I am SO glad I have become their new patient. I’m in very capable dental care. I highly recommend Dr.Soben

Negative experience: A new employee cleaned my teeth……. She spent more time cleaning my bottom teeth than my upper teeth…… I don’t feel that my upper teeth are as clean as my bottom teeth.

Fantastic experience: My son chipped a tooth, they offered to work him in right away but we weren't able to take him that day so they made us an appointment first thing the next morning. Wes Soben repaired my sons tooth and I had to ask him to remind me which tooth he broke because there were no noticeable defects in the area where he broke the tooth. You can't go wrong with these guys. My family has been using Bourland and Soben for over 10 yrs. now and we have had everything done from cleanings to crowns. Excellent service, communication, execution, etc. etc.. They are great with young kiddos as well.

Fantastic experience: Everything was great and the people were. Amazing. Doctor Bourland has taken care of my sons since they were little and takes such great loving care of his patients and their families. That’s hard to do because this son really hates needles lol.

Negative experience: Went in to get tooth extracted. Appointment was at 8 it was 830 before being called back. Had to do all this paper work this and that.had to take numerous xrays even a full mouth.930 comes the dentist finally came in By now its 10oclock and I told them I needed to hurry cause I work nights have to be up at 3. So I told them I had to go. That was a waste of 178 dollars. Most dentist I go to, here let's take an xray numb that baby and pull it. This was so procrastinated, left 178 in the hole and tooth still in. There are many dentist go in tell them the issue ,they xray numb pull done 150$ Here 178 consultation and who knows price of extraction. Very disappointed

Negative experience: Was made to get a x-ray that I didn’t want and haggled about it for about 40 minutes before I could get an appointment started where I would’ve just paid for the x-ray from the beginning to get the appointment done on time

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bowles was amazing. He squeezed my husband in for an emergency, and was so through and patient. My husband smokes a pack a day, dips, and subsists largely off Dr. Pepper and candy. The doctor passed no judgment, got him the antibiotics he needed and set him up for all the follow up care he needs. If you’ve not been to the dentist for years, and are nervous about being seen, I cannot recommend Dr Bowles enough.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was so so nice. They squeezed me in on a short day for them as I was in a great deal of pain suddenly. I was scared to enter the weekend without any care and dentist offices local to me were closed or booked. I was a new patient and they got me right in and treated me very well and took great care of me. I plan to use them for any future needs from now on.

Fantastic experience: I had a friend about to go a Cruise in a couple of day's and he woke up in a lot of pain. Started calling to see if he could get in to a dentist and no one had an opening. He was in tears, did not know what to do. I told him let me call my dentist (Bourland-Soben) and see if I could get him in. I had just started going there and my experience was great! I called and told them the problem and they were so nice and got him right in. He ended up needing a root canal. I would recommend them to anyone. The service is GREAT and everyone here is so nice. Got my friend right in that day and he was able to go on his cruise in no pain.

Negative experience: Customer service people were nice. Dental assistant was nice. Doctor was cool. Not complaining about price. My big issue is time. Did my x rays, then just sat in a chair waiting for doctor for about 45 minutes. I call today to reschedule my wife’s appointment with a front desk person, wait 30 minutes on hold. I call back and they immediately take care of it not knowing I was on hold so I just canceled appointments instead. I get it something could happen but I feel they didn’t value my time at all.
