Fantastic experience: Today I was seen by Dr. Wilfredo Cruz Ibarra DMD,, I was very satisfied with the services rendered. They extracted one of my molar, and this doctor and his team were Awesome. I also would like to thank Brian that takes care of What? insurance Pays for and he sat down with me and explained everything and that that was just awesome as well as the doctor and his assistance They sat down and explained everything to me, and this was my second visit. I give them five stars because not only the places is super clean the staff the doctors are extremely awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone and although dentistry is very expensive I’m sure they will work with you. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Miramar Modern Dentistry, and I had a great experience. Dr. Wilfredo and his assistant, Carlos, were quick, thorough, and very informative. They took the time to explain everything clearly and even brought some new concerns to my attention that I hadn’t been aware of. Kelly did my cleaning and was absolutely wonderful—so knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely invested in my gum health. She gave me practical recommendations and clear steps I can take to improve it. Overall, the entire team made me feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for.

Negative experience: I called and on the phone they told me they would give me a $60 cleaning and made the appointment went out of my way to go there when I got there the dentist try to tell me that I needed a special cleaning that costs over $1,000 and he told me I needed a $5,000 crown. When I told him I just wanted the $60 cleaning that I was promised he refuse to give it to me. Typical bait inch switch. After wasting 2 hours there I went to another dentist and he confirmed what I already knew that I did not need the $5,000 crown and a regular cleaning was fine for me that I certainly didn't need a $1,000 deep cleaning.

They explained everything about my visit for a cleaning and made sure I understood each step. They were very attentive to all my questions and needs, which I really appreciated. Kelly, the hygienist, was amazing as well. She was super friendly, informative, and took the time to explain everything she was doing. Negative experience: Unfortunately, despite of the staff being nice and friendly, my mom’s experience has not been great at all. She’s 87 and needing full upper dentures and partial lower dentures. It was not an easy process (awfully LONG) due to her age and she’s hard of hearing. We started back in 11/14/24. She finally had her temporary dentures on 5/20/25. The gums healed and we went back 8/13/25 to try on the permanent dentures. It took multiple returns to the office, re-measure, re-wax, back to the lab, etc. She was supposed to get the final fitting on 9/10/25 but I was told they were not ready! I was nervous as we had a scheduled vacation in Oct 4th. I had to bribe my mom with a vacation in order for her to return to the office because she swore she won’t return again. The waxing was a torture for her but they couldn't get it right the first or second time. To make matters worst, before the final appt, I got a call that my mom’s dentures were lost in transition but they’re checking. They never found the dentures and the best thing they could do is repeat the process for free. What the hell??? After the torture (that’s how my mom felt) she went through and with the bribing I did, you think she would consider going back for another tortuous year! Heck, no! I paid out of pocket $3,460 and they only returned $1,543. That’s apart from what they had collected from the insurance. I have lost work hours due to the fact that I had to go with my mom on all those back and forth appointments. It’s totally insane that something like this could happen and don’t get appropriately compensated. I would like for them to explain how they came up with that amount to reimburse me. I feel most sorry for my mom. Not one apology from whomever is the administrator for that practice. We saw 3 providers: Dr Ochoa, Dr Alsad, and Dr Perez.

Fantastic experience: The staff was the most helpful I could’ve ever needed. I visited Dr. J. Ochoa after I broke a tooth on a nearby restaurant. It was a fix I needed as soon as possible as I had a departing flight within 3 hours of arriving to the office. As a new patient, they were nice enough to accommodate me without a previous appointment into their tight schedule because of the emergency. They knew I was in a rush and their work performed the tooth restoration with the highest quality and speed. I was able to get a new crown and catch my flight all within 2 and a half hours. Thank you again to all the kind staff and the amazing practice.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist office and left feeling extremely disappointed and upset. They told me I needed new crowns because mine were “open,” recommended redoing a filling that had just been done elsewhere, and even said I have gingivitis despite the fact that I take very good care of my teeth and stay on top of my oral hygiene. Instead of providing balanced feedback, the entire appointment was filled with negativity, to the point where I felt like crying. On top of that, they tried to push an $85 cleaning. I left feeling like I was being sold treatments I don’t actually need and felt like a guinea pig. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this office!!

Negative experience: Beware of the bait and switch here. When I called for a cleaning they told me they would do a $60 cleaning, when I got there the dentist told me that he could not give me a cleaning because I needed a "deep cleaning" that was over $1,500 dollars. When I told him that I was not going to pay $1,500 for dental cleaning he refused to give me a regular cleaning because he said if he gives me a regular cleaning he could lose his license. He also told me that i needed to remove a perfectly good filling and get a crown on one of my teeth for over $6,000.00. when I told him that I didn't want to do any of these services because i didn't need them he said oh wait I will have my financial specialist come talk to you and made me wait 20 minutes, probably so I would change my mind after being there so long. I literally walked out and the next day went to another dentist. He said all I needed was a standard 200 dollar cleaning and the tooth the other dentist wanted to crown for 6k was perfectly fine. The dishonest upsell, the sleazy sales tactics make you feel more like a used car dealer than a dentist. Not the least bit of concern for the patiend.

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist was Kelly, and my doctor was Sandra. First-time visit, and the main concerns I wanted addressed were my wisdom teeth and gums, and they did just that! Great service and great cleaning.

Negative experience: So my wife went in for a routine cleaning which turned into a recommendation for a deep cleaning. This then led to them stating she has bone loss and would require bone grafting surgery as recommended by the Periodontist. Each time she has went, her recommendations have gotten far more invasive and expensive. Within 2 appointments, 1 WEEK apart, her gums had deteriorated and was in need of surgery. Simple google search of the periodontist, Mike Roig, shows his unusual trend of recommending Bone Grafts which can only be a coincidence right? Do your research and avoid this place. You will need surgery and mouth reconstruction surgery recommended if you go here.

Negative experience: I had an appointment on April 12th, 2025 and when I arrived to the office the door was closed. I went to the office on April, 14th and the receptionist told me sorry we had to closed and we called you once. I told her that ok you call me and I didn't answer because I was working, so why you did not send a text message, email or leave a voice message. I called the office on April 11th to confirmed the appt and nobody answer the call. I was a new patient and I'm not going back to the office and I know I am just one more patient. I was even warned by the office manager that if I missed my Saturday apps for whatever reason that I was never going to get another Saturday appointment. Thank you wasting my Saturday.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ochoa, Jessica and Ackeeba were wonderful! Jennifer, the front by desk manager provided a very easy to understand breakdown of the work needed to be done and the overall workflow and processing was excellent, modern and hassle free with a smile. I just visited again on 06-27-24 and they were fantastic with my kiddos during my exam. Couldn’t ask for more. I just finished procedures on 04-01-25 to take care of a “shadow” (3 different types of doctors and many procedures over the course of months). The patience and thoroughness of the staff was incredible. Everyone was generous with their explanations and compassion. I’m very optimistic about my oral outlook! Thanks Miramar Modern Dentistry!

They received my constructive criticism with professionalism and were willing to work with me until I was completely satisfied. Negative experience: Needed a cleaning and tried this place out because my usual dentist is kinda far. They scheduled me right away which was kind of sketchy since my office is always booked a month in advance but 4.8 stars looks good. Obviously needed X-rays since I’m a first time patient. But X-rays quickly turned into “you need a deep cleaning, you need laser treatment, you have a cavity and you need to remove all wisdom teeth.” I’ve never had a cavity and have always maintained my oral hygiene so I called my dentist and got lucky enough to get in for a cancellation. I was informed that I had NO CAVITIES, that my gums were healthy and didn’t need a deep cleaning. It seems the only thing they were somewhat honest about was that my wisdoms should be removed… because my dentist only recommended one to be removed. It’s a new office and I guess the rent is high because of location. The staff was friendly but dishonest. I hope they can change their business model. If you’re going to try this place out, make sure to get a second opinion.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The entire staff, including the fantastic Nick, Naomi, Jessica, and the dental assistant Nikki went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and well-cared for. Dr. Ochoa is not only incredibly skilled but also incredibly kind and patient. He took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I understood everything. His gentle approach made my dental visit an stress-free experience. I highly recommend Dr. Ochoa and the whole Miramar Modern Dentistry team to anyone seeking exceptional dental care. Especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist. They truly embody what it means to provide a positive and professional experience.

Fantastic experience: Very good place. They immediately got to work the same day i came in for a first time visit. I struggle alot with my teeth, but they were there to get my teeth back in a good condition. Well definitely switch to here instead of my previous dental office!

As well as Dr. Tuero who carefully worked on my teeth. The clinic is very clean and organized. The whole staff was friendly and made me felt comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend this location!! Also it is very affordable compared to a lot of other places.

Fantastic experience: It’s my second time coming here and the dental staff have been really helpful. My hygienist today was Kelly and she was really great and informative. The receptionists are very welcoming as well. Looking forward to my next visit!
