Fantastic experience: The staff as always courteous and professional. I once again feel like the very first time I walked in. Highly satisfied as today was my last visit with replacing the two crowns due today (3/5/26).

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at this office since 2023 and have had multiple cleanings and dental procedures done here, spending thousands of dollars out of pocket. On Friday 2/27/26, a crown that Dr. Fischzang placed in May 2024 fell out. The crown wasn’t even two years old. I called the office at 4:15pm, but they close at 2pm on Fridays. Their voicemail lists an emergency line, which I called several times and left both a voicemail and text. I never received a response. With the tooth exposed, it was extremely sensitive and I couldn’t eat, drink comfortably, or brush my teeth. Since no one returned my call from the emergency line, I had to find an emergency dentist and pay out of pocket. I finally received a call Monday morning (3/2/26) around 9am. When I spoke with the office manager Karina, she said she had personal issues and wasn’t able to answer the emergency line that weekend. When I asked about reimbursement for the emergency visit, she initially said it shouldn’t be a problem but needed to confirm with the doctors. The following day I was told they would not reimburse me because going to the emergency dentist was “my choice.” If an office advertises an emergency line, patients should be able to rely on it. I’ve referred several people here in the past, but after this experience I can’t recommend this office anymore.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! So glad I chose this place for my dental work. The staff,medical assistants and especially the doctors make you feel so comfortable and like family. Constantly asking you how you feel trying their best to make you feel comfortable and calm. They’re very clear with you with treatment and costs.

Fantastic experience: Update*** I was contacted by village square and I'm very pleased to say the issue was resolved. They honored my coupon and I will be getting my invisalign. They are professional and willing to work with you. Again, great staff! ---------‐-----‐------------------------------------------- In January of 2022, while getting a cleaning I was quoted a price for invisalign of $3999. In July, I received a coupon by email for $500 off for invisalign. I hurried and scheduled an appointment. When I get there, they didn't want to honor my $500. Completely disappointed! I will say the staff is nice. I'm guessing the coupon was just to get me in the door.

Positive experience: I had my implant today (first time) with Dr. Danowitz. I got pretty anxious when I'm at the dentist, but Amy, his assistant, made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything to me and kept checking on how I'm doing. Wonderful experience today with them.

Negative experience: Hi. I’ve been there 3 times. The first time was on July /25 the attention was excellent. They took me X-rays for a possible treatment. However I went twice last week. I talked with the front desk lady. I requested the X-rays to sent to my email. I’m still waiting for. I need to be sent as soon as possible. I need a procedure.Thank you.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere in that office was friendly, invigorating, nothing but a great positive vibe! Oh, sorry, yes, my issue was dealt with by Dr Forrest (he should be one of the nation's best, most respected implant providers). Technically, the rapport, teamwork and cohesiveness between him and Yani seems as if they had telepathic communication skills. But, back to the vibe! The staff very friendly, accommodating, sincere, positive! Cultured and polite. What an idillic ambiance! If ever my spirit is low...I may just drop by, say hello and be uplifted by all the great karma generated by all! Peace and love.

Heather was equally fantastic; she was patient and dedicated in contacting my insurance company for approval. She kept me informed throughout the entire process and worked around my schedule to accommodate my next appointment.

Negative experience: Neither my wife nor I will be returning to this office. I will start with the positives. The office itself was very pleasant and comfortable. Clean and up to date. They do have a lot of tech that my prior dentist did not utilize, which as a techie myself, I can really appreciate. The Dr. and the hygienists also performed the services very well. Now, why my wife nor I will be returning. I had never been to any medical office where I felt I was sitting in a Car Sales office. The entire visit for both my wife and I was about upselling us services that we did not need nor want, and incorrect billing/surprise charges. My wife and I were both told that we needed to buy a high-end electric toothbrush, and a waterpik flossing machine. Seems that is just a standard line. When we both declined to purchase the equipment, we were both surprised to see that we were both still being charged for them when it was time for us to checkout of our visit. My wife was told that she had cracks in her teeth that required correction immediately to avoid her teeth from falling out. Neither her previous Dentist, nor her current Dentist has shared concern regarding her teeth. I was also told that I required services that my prior Dentist never expressed to me, and will be asking my new Dentist his opinion on. When I returned for my cleaning, I was quite surprised when the hygienist pulled out my flossing machine to demonstrate to me how to use it. "I never ordered the machine" was my response, which lead to a long sales pitch during my cleaning about why I should take the machine that I did not want, and came to find I had been charged for after the numerous times I declined it. This office has a lot of really high reviews and I had very high expectations after seeing the reviews. I was very turned off by the constant upsell.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Florida 6 years ago, I’ve been on the hunt for a dental office that truly lives up to high standards — and I’ve finally found it. My experience with Dr. Orta was everything I had hoped for and more. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and at ease. The front desk ladies were all so sweet, professional and very friendly. Dr. Orta was incredibly personable, professional, and knowledgeable. What really stood out to me was how much she prioritized education — during my very first visit, she took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the steps involved. As someone who struggles with dental anxiety, I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciated her gentle approach. She guided me through the entire procedure with such care and compassion, helping me feel calm and in control. Her hands are incredibly light, and she constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable. If you’re looking for a dentist in Broward County who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend Dr. Orta enough. She’s a gem, and I’m so grateful to have finally found a dental home I can trust.

Fantastic experience: The very first thing that stood out to me when I walked into Village Square Dental was how warm and welcoming everyone was. I'd never experienced that before. Every other dental office I'd been to had staff that acted as if I were an interruption of their day, instead of the reason for it. From Karina, the Office Manager, who always has a warm smile no matter what, to everyone at the front end, I've always felt like Village Square is my dental home. Being a stand-up comedian, there's this expectation that my review will be funny. So, brace yourself lol (they do orthodontics too!) I'd have to write a biting review with some teeth in it, but maybe an overbite or underbite one, then I can get Invisalign! Dr. Fischzang just placed 3 crowns in a row in my mouth and to say he was gentle and precise would be an understatement. He's awesome, as is Dr. Forrest and all of the hygienists. Plus, everyone laughs at my jokes and gives me the opportunity to try out new material when I'm there. So, how could I not love everyone at Village Square Dental? Amazing dental care from caring, concerned professionals who are also a fabulous audience! It's a win-win for sure. If you're looking for a new dentist, and even if you're not (because you just might switch after visiting them,) you owe it to yourself to pay Village Square Dental a visit!

Fantastic experience: Very professional workers from the front desk to the dental chair. Dr Fischzang does slow injections and you barely feel anything. I strongly recommend his office for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: They misquoted me for my orthodontic care because they read my dental insurance wrong because they quoted as if I’m a minor on my parents dental insurance I’m 29 years old and if you know after 26 you can’t be on your parents insurance so I’m confused how they misquoted me !!!! If i have my own insurance(in which i have no dependents)!!! In which i pay for the highest plan my company offers !!! Im just really disappointed because then she said our third party company put it in the system wrong that’s why you were misquoted! So I'm definitely going to a different orthodontist! I wonder how many other patients were “misquoted because of a clerical error” !

You demonstrated how your mentors shaped your compassionate and skilled approach to patient care. While I don’t fear dentists, I greatly appreciate understanding a practitioner’s experience and philosophy, which you readily shared. I’m especially grateful for your thoughtful and accommodating nature. You respected my request to forgo anesthesia, a choice important to me given my pain tolerance. Your affable demeanor and ability to work almost in rhythm with my music turned an otherwise stressful procedure into a surprisingly calm experience. Oral surgery is rarely enjoyable, but I felt completely safe and confident in your capable hands and those of your incredible team. Post-surgery, I experienced no bleeding and only minor discomfort on the first evening. I’m happy to report that the extraction on my left is healing well, though I’m experiencing some discomfort where the bone graft was performed. Fantastic experience: Village Square Dental surprised me with their professionalism & great personal care. I’m a senior from Canada, with a cracked front tooth. The X-ray machine was state of the art, & the cost was included in their introductory offer of $49-. During this 1st appointment I was able to get my tooth fixed at a very reasonable cost, below my expectation. The dentist, Dr. Fishvang was extremely personable, gentle, funny, & I was completely at ease.
