Fantastic experience: We've been with Specialty Smiles for over a year now as my daughter receives orthodontic treatment. The doctors are fantastic! Attentive to detail, personable, and genuinely care about their patients. The dental assistants are also very kind & helpful! The office staff/front desk are all eager to help, very understanding, and always reply quickly to calls/messages. With all that said, the shining star goes to Yoset (dental assistant)! He, by far, has gone above & beyond to make sure that my daughter feels comfortable and relaxed. He takes his time, talks her through the process, and listens to her when she has questions or something is bothering her. I cannot recommend this practice enough! We'll be with them for a long while!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a braces consultation and it felt very warm and welcoming from the beginning. I walked in and was immediately greeted and the wait time was not long at all. Granted I got here a bit early. Manuela was great, she gave me a tour of the office and was extremely friendly. She made me feel comfortable and giving me the background of the doctors reassuring me that I am in good hands.

Joseph was absolutely amazing—he took the time to explain everything about my daughter’s expander in detail and even walked us through the step-by-step process of how to turn it. The doctor was also incredibly kind and made my daughter feel comfortable and more confident about starting her braces journey. Fantastic experience: Great experience here at specialty smiles. Fantastic crew with incredible customer service. First visit and I felt very comfortable here with everyone can’t wait until my daughter and I start our process.

Negative experience: I made an appointment to get a replacement retainer after my old one broke. The visit started out fine as the technicians took photos and X-rays of my teeth. One of them also gave me a random tour of the facilities, which I must admit look very cool with fun murals throughout. The reason for my low rating of this facility is because I didn’t actually walk out with a retainer as expected. Towards the end of my visit, the dentist on duty (at least, that’s who I assumed it was; she never actually bothered to introduce herself) came to inspect my teeth in person and told me I would need to schedule cleaning somewhere else before the retainers could be made, on the off chance that the shape of my teeth would be altered from the cleaning, or some other nonsense. I explained that I was only interested in the retainers, and I was willing to take the risk of whatever could happen after a cleaning. She still refused to give the go ahead to get the retainers made. All of which resulted in my visit being a complete and total waste of my time. You’d think that at some point throughout the 3 weeks leading up to my appointment they would have said, hey make sure you get a cleaning ahead of your visit. I won’t be returning to this facility.

Fantastic experience: The facility is great and the people are pleasant however things are done a bit backwards at time. My daughter was due for a change in appliance due to the rubber method not being the best options due to her disability which I said from the beginning. They tell us the appliance would take two weeks to come when I go to check out they tell me it would be put in on her next appointment. Here I am at her next appointment and the tell me they need space so they are putting in wires from the draw to create space and it will be changed at her next appointment. Why wouldn’t you put those wires in at the appointment before so that this appointment the new appliances could be placed. Things seem to be drawn out for either a cash grab or the lack of common sense. If you’re going to change something that you need space for you change it before so that when it comes the space is already there, not allow it come then make space. I understand that this world evolves around money but my time my child’s time is being wasted. Just discharge from the hospital. Okay I’m going to edit this review and leave the old one as well. I’m leaving the old one because that was problem I had but I was able to converse with the doctor in office and she somewhat made me feel better and gave me a better understanding to the process. Another thing I appreciate is the call I got that further addressed my concern and worries and ensure that the process isn’t a cash grab and that the best interest is my child. I was definitely upset before talking to both doctors but I can honestly say to speak to me and the office and call later shows that they care and value our concerns as a patient

Fantastic experience: Wanted Invisalign and they came through to help me right away, payment plans and everything. All appointments went smoothly, even with all of their patients they always remembered me when I came into the office once every 2-3 months. Great people they made my smile look amazing and an amazing service overall, would highly recommend.

They contact you to make sure that you're up to date with ur braces and/or aligners. They make sure to explain to your child how to follow with process at home; have lots of patience. They follow up with your dentistry to confirm that you are up to date with them. It's family-friendly. One child got braces and the other aligners and love the outcome on both. I will definitely come back for me.

Positive experience: Mixed Experience at Specialty Smiles I recently had an experience at Specialty Smiles, and while the doctors and assistants showcased exceptional skills, the overall rating is affected by certain aspects. The staff at the front desk are satisfactory, but the scheduling system is a significant drawback. Unfortunately, appointments need to be scheduled months in advance, making it inconvenient and causing disruptions to my son’s school routine. If not for the challenging scheduling, I would rate it higher, possibly a 4 out of 5. However, I must acknowledge the excellent work done by the doctors, earning them a solid 5 stars. In the end, the quality of the treatment was commendable, but the scheduling issues bring my overall rating to a 3 out of 5.

Whenever I need to reschedule an appointment or have an emergency dental issue with no hesitation and subject to availability they'll always do they best they can to fit your needs and issues. I even finished my invisalign treatment a few months early and I still have 3 months check up to make sure my teeth don't shift again. By far 10/10 service and forever thankful.
