Fantastic experience: They are always so thorough, x-rays are very comfortable and efficient, the hygienists are friendly and effective - my teeth always feel so clean after and the doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful. My experiences here for the past 4 years have always been great. Another thing my husband and I love about this place is that they are upfront and transparent about the price! They go over the price with you, what your insurance will cover and what your out of pocket will be BEFORE they do any procedures, so you don’t have to anxiously wait to see how much it will be. We love it here!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to CMD for the better part of 4 years. I am a tough patient because I need a lot of TLC, even for cleanings. I also like to ask a lot for questions about my treatment and finances. The team here is helpful and always willing to talk to me about anything. Oscar the hygienist is wonderful and I am thankful for his gentle hand and soft demeanor. I've had oral surgery here more than once and each time the experience has been as pleasant as it possibly can be for oral surgery. All in all, great experiences here!

Negative experience: Rayne, the receptionist, might want to revisit some etiquette training in how clients are spoken to. Professionalism isn't just scheduling appointments, it's tone, respect and knowing how not to sound annoyed by the people paying your bills. The overall quality of customer service here has taken a noticeable dive. What once felt organized now feels careless and the first impression sets the tone for everything else. Because of this, Rayne just lost this dentistry a long-time client. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of dental offices that understand courtesy isn't advanced education...it's the basics. Unfortunately, those basics seem to have been skipped here. PS: Oscar is an excellent hygienist and deserves recognition! Highly recommended! If you can overlook the lack of professionalism at the front desk!

Negative experience: I’m seriously disappointed. I got a recommendation from my neighbor to try since she works next door at Whole Foods. They billed my insurance a crazy amount of money and of course they did not cover it. I already came out of pocket $800 for x ray and cleaning? Now I owe $1300 more?! I called ahead of time and asked if they accept my insurance and work with principal? Tbh I felt uncomfortable the whole time with this dentist. He just seems shady to the point where after my consultation I had to ask chat gpt if I was getting screwed over.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been coming here for years and love it. Most recently, Rolanda polished my teeth and was one of the most patient-centric providers I have met. She was very gentle, thorough, and cognizant of my comfort level. Additionally, I had two teeth extracted by Dr. Bryan White (oral surgeon) and cannot say enough wonderful things about his care and attention. He was easily accessible after the extraction for some follow-up questions I had, and set my mind at ease with quick responses and very individualized attention. He was quick and so very efficient during the procedure as well. This is a great dental practice, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I never thought I’d be able to say I enjoy going to the dentist, but that was before I started seeing Dr. Pierre-Jerome. She is hands down the best dentist I’ve been to. I feel seen and heard as her patient. She makes sure I can voice any questions or concerns, and does an excellent job of answering them and explaining things. She is beyond skilled and made my inlay procedure completely worry free and painless from start to finish. Also, Gigi the dental assistant is amazing!! So nice, so efficient, and so professional. She and Dr. Pierre-Jerome are truly the dream team to have working on your teeth! Bobby is wonderful as well of course! They will all make you feel 1000% taken care of. I’m so happy I found this office and now have the privilege of being their patient! Editing this review 11/4/25 to say that I had a wonderful experience with Lyssa. She did such a thorough and painless job of everything from X-rays to flossing to polishing. Also she’s such a sweet and patient person. People like Lyssa make going to the dentist a better experience.

Lyssa was very sweet and patient with me! She took the time to explain everything thoroughly. 09/02/2025 Dr. Armstrong did a crown procedure on my tooth today, and did such an awesome job! He was very patient and informative every step of the way. It didn’t hurt a bit!! Lyssa, as usual, was as sweet, polite, and respectful as ever! Lyssa’s the best!! Bobby assisted, and was very friendly and knowledgeable!! I had tons of questions for Gigi (front desk), as she checked me in, and she answered each with kindness and patience!! Kyra did my deep cleaning awhile ago, and truly showed kindness and care while educating me on the importance of healthy dental hygiene!!! Sincere thanks to the team!!!

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars and leave a review I would. Kyra in the front, you are amazing and thank you for your help. But this office is incredibly poor managed. For my first appointment which was a consult on some work I needed done, I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time they didn’t take me back until nearly an hour after my appointment time. I thought it happens. Then they had to keep retaking my X-rays because they couldn’t get it, again I think maybe it’s new to them and it’s minimal harm no biggie. The consult with the female dentist (I do not remember her name) was great and while the staff seemed to be undertrained or busy (though no other patients were there…) they all seemed kind. So I got my quote for the work needed and told them I needed a little time to come up with the money. That was fine and all seemed well. On the quote they had the consult be no charge (my insurance does cover the X-rays). They even called a few weeks ago confirming the amount and seeing if I was ready to schedule. Well, I was able to receive care credit to pay for my teeth getting the work done (I also have massive anxiety about being a patient). So I called today to schedule the appointment. It started out fine Kyra did her best to help me, I asked about switching from one type of sedation to a different one I got a quote (to include iv sedation), scheduled the appointment and got my husband ready to call right after me to pay. Well when he called he got a quote of almost 200 more than the additional amount I was quoted. So we called back shortly after on a three way call just to understand. On this call, we were given once again a different (and increased quote). Being worried about money I asked if we just go back to the more mellow sedation and I’ll just be brave. Well then we were told a much much different quote then the first one and once again it was more, but now it also included a fee from my initial office visit. Poor Kyra was being pulled back and forth and obviously didn’t get the training she deserved and so I asked to speak with the manager. Who first off acted like she didn’t know what the situation was though Kyra had repeatedly put us on hold (absolutely no problem with that) to talk to her. Then she (manager) said she’d “waive” the initial consult fee, but that we “really needed to get the treatment plan right since you keep changing it”. It was rude and really condescending, it felt like the office had no actual billing and instead once found out we had care credit changed it. This office is not functional and that should be a direct reflection on the management and the dentist running it. Safe to say I’ll be going elsewhere, and Kyra check out Az dental friends on Facebook they post openings there constantly update: I guess the manager was looking for my Facebook?? 2nd updated: they called me today for a DIFFERENT patient. I cannot make this up. They called looking for a rose. Then tried to keep me on the line saying the person on Facebook wasn’t them even though their profile says they work in Chandler in dentistry and I talked to her yesterday? Big YIKES

Negative experience: Lyssa was great with my X-rays! Edit: I was asked to leave this review before my appointment was over. & just so people know ahead of time—if you make a new patient appointment this doesn’t include a cleaning which is what I had called and made an appointment for. They told me it was a 90 minute appointment yet 40 minutes into my appointment I was told I could wait around and hope someone could clean my teeth or come back another time because “they have other appointments scheduled”. Yet I also had an appointment scheduled… horrible customer service honestly and the girl who told me gave me attitude. What were the remaining 50 minutes of my appointment for then? So stupid to have to come back, take time out of work and my day just because they have a scheduling issue. This should be clearly told to patients ahead of time if this is their process not to expect a cleaning simply because you’ve never been to this practice before.

Abby was my hygienist who did my cleaning and she was also lovely and explained everything in a non judgmental way! Definitely recommend this office to anyone

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally rave about health/dental care providers but Chandler Modern Dentistry is hands down the best dental office I have ever been to. The front office receptionists were both so friendly and helped me check in right as I arrived. I entered all of my health information online before I arrived so I didn’t have to do any paperwork, so convenient that the online system is available for patients to use. Dr. Jolley came out to greet me, introduced himself and explained the process, I find that extremely professional. Bobby was the dental assistant that helped me through the x-rays and pictures, he was super nice and efficient. Parrish was the hygienist, she was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. The whole team at Chandler Modern Dentistry was friendly, sincere and professional and treated me like family. I will definitely be going to this dental office for as long as I live in the valley, I have already told my coworkers and family about this wonderful team.

I’m the type of person that gets very anxious in a Dental office -yet staff was nice and easy going which made it bearable. Dr Cassandra Pierre-Jerome and the hygienist Oscar were great. They both did all they could to keep me comfortable and calm. My appreciation goes out to Dr and Oscar for their patience and answering all my questions and explaining things to me. I took advantage of their financing/credit line and the promotions available. Full mouth SR&P, several fillings and a pending wisdom tooth extraction for $1K w my insurance. Dr Bryan White removed my wisdom tooth in under 30secs. I’m pleasantly surprised and grateful. I have zero pain or zero swelling! Woo!

Fantastic experience: I've always had this kind of "fear" with the dentist. As well as with my teeth.. However I was put to ease at Chandler Modern. Dr. Jolley and the ladies were amazing!!! They were so kind and compassionate and in a way you just don't expect from a dental office or at least myself. They were so tentative and informative and honest but in a way that you feel taken care of and more than just an everyday patient. We even shared some laughs. This was my first visit of what I know will be many and I'm actually looking forward to seeing everyone again. They got me in same day for an emergency and made sure to let me know that I was in good hands. I'm so appreciative of these wonderful people! I would absolutely recommend this dental office. Negative experience: I came in for a cleaning without insurance and asked for the price beforehand. During the appointment, staff pressured me to add extra services and were dismissive when I declined. I paid the quoted amount and left. Later, I received a charge I hadn’t agreed to. I returned and was told by the doctor and management that it would be removed. Despite this, I’ve since been contacted repeatedly by collection agencies. When I followed up, the office claimed they couldn’t access my records due to a “new system” and gave unhelpful, dismissive responses. Overall, it’s been a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Had a crown made in office that broke in less than 3 years. They refuse to honor the warranty because I moved and have a new dentist. I was willing to make the drive to have a new crown placed, but they won’t honor the warranty. As if the crown would not have broke under their watch??? It broke in between cleanings. It would have broke no matter what dentist I was going to.

Negative experience: Pro: good staff, good teeth care. nothing exceptional. Con: they try to sell you different services, and everything is very pricy,. There is no simple fix for anything, it's crown/RCT/something that will cost you $1-2 K after insurance. too rich for my blood.

Negative experience: If you have gone to any other Modern Dentistries in the valley, I.e. Arcadia Modern, Tempe Modern, etc. none of them share your charts. I’ve been going to Arcadia for years and asked if my chart can be shared to avoid the exam chart and they said it wasn’t possible. Also, when you book a cleaning you really book an exam….they don’t plan for you to do a cleaning only if they “have time”. Super frustrating experience given I’ve been a patient at Arcadia Modern for almost so years.

Negative experience: Update on my review Beware the services you pay for in advance you may be charged even more after the service is . Unfortunately, after our services, I was charged a specific amount based on what my insurance wasn’t going to pay several days later they came back and informed me that i Have to pay more money at my insurance rate. So far I have paid between insurance and my own money $2555 and they say that my 21-year-old college student has to pay them them $250 and they refused to take payments. But if I had walked in there and paid cash, it would’ve been $2100. I asked that they charge me $59 for the initial visit and charge that 250 to the insurance and they said because I have insurance I have to pay full insurance rates. Cash $2100, insurance $3000 but they are. Going to put it on her credit report. Now I’m questioning whether the The dentist make decisions based on Services that will make the company money rather than services actually needed. And remember all they had to do was charge my daughter $59 for her initial visit and charge the 250 to the insurance company. Everyone was so nice. Gigi was very sweet! Explained everything

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pierre-Jerome is one amazing dentist! She is patient, understanding, empathetic, and compassionate. I explained my anxiety regarding what I was there for and she asked what I needed, how she could help, let me know I was safe and listened to my answers to each of her questions. I appreciate the extra steps she took to make this appointment as smooth and anxiety free as possible. 5 stars are simply not enough. Thank you, Dr. Pierre-Jerome.
