Fantastic experience: DR. Ramtin Deljouei was the nicest individual in the medical field I've ever met. He was very understanding of my nervousness with the procedure he had to preform he took the time to take care of the issue i had that day with my wisdom tooth issue. The assistant lizeth was also very kind and understanding and she was very gentle. Id highly reccoment this dentist for any of your needs they expept medicaid as well. They took me in a emergency situation and helped me very well. The front desk were very nice as well and very helpful with finding my insurance information.

Negative experience: Went to my appoinment on February 7th at 10am and I had to wait for 40 minutes before they took me inside and i still had to wait. Very dissatisfied this time!

Negative experience: Let me just say first the staff here was absolutely amazing. I brought my husband to have a simple (front tooth) extraction today (12/9/25). He does not have dental insurance so we walked in and they did fit him in, which was great. He paid $232 upfront which we assumed was for the extraction and thought that wasn't too bad because most dentist/ drs offices give a discount due to not having insurance. We had been quoted $300 at Aspen dental and free exam/xrays with this price due to not having insurance. We chose to come to Ideal due to it was convenient to where we were and our son had a tooth extracted for $85 two weeks ago after insurance. My husband was called back an hour later, which was expected since they worked him in. They did a simple extraction and the cost was $758 for a simple extraction. No surgery, no problems, simple extraction. When he was advised what it was going to cost, we had already paid the $232 upfront which we thought was going to be the total. Wrong! The bill shows: oral evaluation $161, intramural periapical(xray) $62, 2D oral/facial Photogra0hic image, Alveoplasty with extraction $150, extraction erupted tooth, $385. There was no erupted tooth. His tooth had broke off half way and had been this way for years. There was no pain, he just wanted to go ahead and get it pulled. I still can not understand why a simple extraction that took all of 2 minutes would have cost this amount and why there was no discount for someone with no insurance. This price was absolutely ridiculous! Had we known before paying the $232 up front, we would have went on to Aspen and saved ourself $458 dollars. Again, the staff was wonderful but the cost was "highway robbery"! I definitely will not be recommending due to the extreme cost.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been very self-conscious about going to the dentist after several, not so good experiences. This time I was in a super safe space I felt extremely cared for and their attentiveness to my social and emotional well-being during the process was pretty awesome. Syreeta was my dental hygienist, and she was extremely kind thorough and explained everything she was doing and offered tips for upkeep on my smile. Yesterday, the attending doctor in which I don’t have her name at this time, but she is from Winston-Salem she was just equally informative, kind and reassuring. Having Medicaid, no one made me feel like a number. I absolutely love my experience here and I hope that I can be a patient here for many many years to come.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Don't get fooled! Once you get in things change! It's all about the money!! After spending $5000 YES $5000 for a bottom and top plate this is what I received!! The teeth don't meet and they are smaller than my regular teeth were! Oh yeah, and BUCKTOOTH!!! Once all this is corrected, I will NEVER go back to them!! So, DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! I was!!! For many years I did not go to a dentist due to a really bad experience in the past. I needed some emergency dental work done, needing some one who would take care credit and found Crystal Dental Group on Google. The staff there is so caring and Dr. Hatampa is awesome. I will continue to go there and that's coming from someone that hated dentists at one time. I highly recommend them! Great folks!

Fantastic experience: I do not do well with dentist visits, I went in for a long overdue exam and ended up needing some work done. They were able to actually begin treatment the same day and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The dental assistant Taylor was very nice and knowledgeable and the dentist ( can’t remember her name) was also very nice and gentle with me during the treatment. I will go back feeling less nervous as I did walking in for the first time!

Negative experience: I thought this place was an answered prayer. Medicaid coverage is becoming scarce when it comes to dental work. My wife has numerous issues with her teeth due to childhood neglect and we decided to finally get them fixed so she can enjoy her smile at last. We were initially impressed with the technology available at this establishment; plus, Dr. Shen is extremely talented. However, the more we came, the more we realized the compassion in this place is LOW. Especially when it comes to Medicaid patients. We needed a kind place for my wife to finally heal and get the work she needs done; instead she’s walked away with even MORE trauma and distrust in the medical field. They hurt her while in her mouth, also complained when she needed more numbing because they neglected to 1) give her enough in the first place (my wife has EDS, something they neglected to make note of) and 2) wait until it kicked in. When my wife had teeth pulled out of her skull by this doctor, she was refused anything but Ibuprofen for the pain. I think the doctors and assistants in this establishment need to take a step back and realize they are doing medical procedures inside of REAL PEOPLE’S MOUTHS. No matter if the government is paying or not, Ideal Dental in High Point is dealing with human beings with feelings. The main good thing about this place is that the receptionists are very kind and patient. God forbid we have to return here, though. Don’t come here if you use Medicaid and have a mouthful of issues unless you have no other choice. You’ll probably be fine if you can afford dental on your own; just don’t comfort your wife or you’ll catch the assistants making fun of you just a few feet away.

Fantastic experience: One of my fillings broke below the gum line months ago. I should have gone when it first broke off. I waited two months. During my visit, I found out that it needed to be extracted and that I needed a bone graft since it was below the gum line and decaying. We discussed a flipper, but I am going to go with an implant since the tooth was right behind my eye tooth and can be seen. The dentist was nice, patient, and reassuring. The dental assistant was wonderful. She was patient, kind, and non judgemental. She showed compassion and empathy while I was there having my tooth extracted. The dentist did a wonderful job. I know that it was difficult given the location. I was there for a few hours, but I was a work in emergency visit. I had mentioned from a previous dentist that had given me fillings, that when I floss, the floss gets caught in my teeth from the fillings not being properly done. Before my extraction I could feel that the filling was getting ready to come out. I made them aware of that since it was beside the extraction site. Tonight, while flossing, the filling came out. I will be calling them in the morning to see what we can do. I don't want another extraction from waiting too long. They are reasonably priced and take medicaid. They have a wonderful atmosphere, state of the art technology, and are very clean. As you can tell, I will be returning because I was happy with the service that I received Friday. Negative experience: I will never go back to this hideous dental office.Waited 45 minutes it was on a Saturday, they did a lot of X-rays a convenient day to go but the dentist was great her dental hygienist awful made me feel very uncomfortable. Then I have United health care got assessemt done went to front desk great the girl Said none of my x rays or what they had to do was not covered. I spent from April 29th Till today 5/6 to get all their junk and stress off me the insurance paid for x rays finally and their office manager was never in when I called and When I did get in touch with her and my insurance on the line I already knew what my Insurance would only pay she was rude and obnoxious

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying I have never liked dentists, but coming here has changed my view on dental visits! Got a deep cleaning done by Syreeta S (back to back days) and it was the best experience I’ve had. Constantly checking in to ensure I was still numb and not feeling pain annd even asked about the previous visit I had to make sure I was doing well. She took her time and was super friendly. So easy to talk to as well - even though it was only inbetween switching tools lol. My teeth are in such poor condition but I didn’t feel judged at all, I highly recommend coming here - it’s not just Syreeta that’s open, friendly and inviting.

Fantastic experience: I went to this office on April 21st to get my teeth checked. I admit, I was nervous after seeing some reviews BUT the office was nice and clean and the employees were so nice and caring. I was very nervous as i have dental anxiety since i was a kid and by the end I was super calm. This just goes to show a few bad reviews shouldnt hinder your decision and you should just see for yourself because my experience was great! I didn't catch the dr.'s name but the dental assistant Inay was very kind the whole time and assured me that I would be well taken care of and that they will help me to the best of their abilities and that they did and they are! Rescheduled for 3 months later just to cancel 24 hours before the rescheduled appointment. They don't seem to care either. Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional. They have canceled 50% of my appointments. Either day before or I showed up and they claim I didn’t receive their text on their cancellation. Their staff turn over is constant. The manager is immature and rude. She was ready to fight me because I asked to speak with her.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience of my life I had 22 teeth pulled out over 15 years ago and that didn't hurt as bad as her pulling this tooth it took her 15 minutes to pull one tooth and it cost me 933.00 all together but the front staff was nice and helpful

Negative experience: I have never left a review but after my experience I need to. I drove an hour away just to get here and the place was locked with all of the lights out - nobody notified me the dentist had called out or told me they closed for the day. I got MULTIPLE reminders for my appointment up until an hour before I got there yet they never called or emailed me to tell me they were closed. I wouldn’t book any appointments here.

Negative experience: This is Christy Warren I do not recommend this dental office. This has been and is a nightmare experience. I'm in the process of getting my full dentures done. Mind you, I have no teeth already nothing to be pulled just a full set of dentures. This started in September, I have other medical issues and take medications and one of the side effects is that it makes me extremely drowsy and they accosted me in the waiting room and embarrassed me accusing me of being on illicet substances and have been beyond rude. While having a procedure performed that shouldn't be painful the Dr was so forceful with taking my impressions it physically caused me severe pain. It jolted me and brought me to tears. My appointments have been staggered to achieve financial optimums so that my insurance pays more then is necessary. Other dentists as a standard can get full dentures done in 3 visits with my same criteria. Currently I can't even get a confirmation as to my next appointment because they couldn't find my dentures because a mishap with their lab. I'm awaiting a call now to schedule my next appointment and am heartbroken and feel like this isn't getting anywhere.

Fantastic experience: Super nice staff. From walking and being greeted by the reception staff to the staff in the back and the dentist. Everyone was nice, professional and very knowledgeable. Negative experience: My son had to come here as a referral from the Winston Salem location. They did a root canal and scheduled to do his crown, which they schedule 5 weeks AFTER and then called the day before to tell me they won’t be doing it and I’d have to go back to Winston for them to complete the work. Luckily, Winston is a way better and handled the situation but we get to Winston salem to do it and they worked us in same day since it’s been over 4 weeks without anything over the root canal. my son might not have enough tooth left now to do even put a crown on. Do not waste money or effort with them. So a waste of $3500

Negative experience: This dentist office has to be a joke I literally was telling the girl HER JOB the girls in the front aren’t really friendly I disagreed with extra stuff they was adding an asked to remove it she said no. Negative experience: I went in because I was having pain in my jaw tooth. The dentist said I had bone loss and I needed a deep cleaning and the tooth needed to be extracted. I decided to go ahead and have it extracted but they said I had to wait until a dentil surgeon could come in since they don't do those extractions. When I made the appointment they said I needed to pay 100.00 deposit because I would have to have a bone graft after the extraction and that would cost 400.00. I have dental insurance but they said insurance doesn't cover it. They didn't say I could not get the deposit back. I was still in pain so I went to dental surgeon (specialist) and they did x-rays and examination and said there was nothing wrong with that tooth and there was an infection in the gum near the tooth. The surgeon said she doesn't like to go against dentist but I should cancel the extraction. She said I just needed to take antibiotics and that I should never get extractions I don't need because that can lead to unnecessary problems. I canceled it and asked if I could get my 100.00 deposit back and they said no we don't do that. I paid 100.00 for a service I never had. I'm retired and can't really afford to loose 100.00.

Negative experience: After waiting 3 months to be seeing for the first time. The office called me and cancelled my appointment and said I have to wait 3 more months to schedule. Due to the dentist going out of town. WTH?? !! Thank god this happened before I went there. Shows me how irresponsible they truly are . No thank you. Cannot have someone working on my teeth like this. This place need to be shut down. Do your research people.

Negative experience: I been contact with them for a year,to clean my teeth,and I visit their doctor office more than 4 times,and they don’t want washing my teeth at all,and they said I need a root canal and many stuff that total cost $25,000.00 this is not make sense,just I ask them for cleaning teeth but they don’t want to work on my teeth,all the time they give me appointment and they charge my Medicaid and not cleaning my teeth,I tired from them to get clean my teeth

Negative experience: Make sure you get a second opinion before going through with any of their dental services! I am new to the area and I take very good care of my teeth. I came here for the very first time just so I could get checked up for an orthodontist referral. During my visit the dentist told me that I had four cavities that needed to be filled and the cost was over $1,400. Fast forward, I went and got a second opinion from another dentist office, from three different doctors, and they could BARELY find one cavity (a small one at that)! Additionally, my appointment was for a cleaning (covered by my insurance), however they only did an assessment that only lasted a few minutes and are now saying I owe them over $200. All this to say, if you go here please beware and get another opinion before going forward with treatment, because they are only trying to get your money and rip you off! Update as of 9/9/24: Dr. Chen is absolutely HORRIBLE and only cares about money. This dentist office charged me for over $300 in preventative care that I did not receive. When I called to speak with someone, the receptionist left me on hold for almost 30 minutes and I had to call back TWICE. Please consider going elsewhere, very unprofessional establishment across the board!

Negative experience: I confirmed my appointment by text, and email. They cancelled my appointment saying I didnt and cant see me for 7 months. Very messed up! They done the same for my husbands appointment. Im going somewhere else!!

Fantastic experience: My appointment was tomorrow, but they called to see if I could come today instead, as they're closed tomorrow. LOL What choice did I have? Of course I will come today. All I need is an hour's notice. I am just 13 miles from them across country roads. I love this office, one of the best, BEST!!!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with Ideal Dental High Point. The entire staff were very pleasant and Friendly. The front desk staff made me feel very welcome with their smiles and greetings. The Receptionist explained my dental plan and related costs after my X-rays were finished, and answered all related questions that I had. After being called to the back, the Dental Assistants, Doctor and Dental Hygienist were very professional and showed they cared about my well being by asking me if I was alright throughout my procedure’s. After my teeth were cleaned, I actually said it felt like I was at the Spa. All of their hands were gentle and I left looking forward to my next appointment.
