She checked in on me throughout the cleaning and then showed me what she did through a neat camera. Dr. Bloom then came in and examined me and discussed my options to address my dental issue. I never thought I would say this but overall, a nice visit to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Eric Bloom has been our family’s dentist for nearly 20 years, and there’s no one we trust more. When I recently had a very painful root canal situation, he made me a priority right away, truly listened, and guided me every step of the way. He connected me with an excellent endodontist and then worked closely with me to determine the best solution for my cracked tooth. Dr. Bloom is honest, thoughtful, and incredibly skilled, easily the best dentist in Glenview and the North Shore.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Bloom for a second opinion on an estimate on some intense dental work. The office was clean and everyone friendly. Dr. Bloom took time to clearly explain the state of my teeth, and all the work that needed to be done. If was relieved that he had done his "homework" on my previous dental care (he asked to have records and xrays sent over). The appointment was super helpful, and I would definitely go back and recommend him and the practice.

This last visit was incredible. Suzy does an extremely wonderful job of cleaning. I am highly sensitive and she is so careful about what she does. I hope to NEVER have to change doctors again. Excellent work! Most recent visit: I'll reiterate. There is NO other like Dr. Bloom and his staff. Suzy is incredible, too. They do a more traditional cleaning process, and Suzy does that for me. It takes longer, but it is super for my sensitive mouth. I don't want to ever go to another dentist!

Fantastic experience: I recently had my teeth whitened at Dr. Bloom's office. Dr. Hoy explained the process and after a scan and some prep work, I sat in the chair with my teeth coated with gel and under a light. I did four 15 minute sessions. After the first 3 sessions, my teeth were recoated with gel. The Doctor and her assistant made sure I was comfortable and were available if I had any discomfort or any questions. I had none and when it was over, I was impressed with the results. My teeth were whitened significantly and look much better. I have been a patient of Dr. Bloom for only a short time but from that limited experience, I would highly recommend his practice to friends and family.

His staff are always timely, thorough, knowledgeable and well trained. Dr. Bloom always takes his time to ensure you understand your options, the procedure, follow up and best care practices for your teeth. His office waiting room is comfy and bright. I have never spent too much time in the waiting room, even if they squeeze me in for an emergency visit. The office itself is very modern and fully equipped with state of the art equipment. Dr. Bloom continues to grow his knowledge to best treat his patients.

I travel a lot and on the occasions when I've had to use other dentists in other towns, they've always commented on the high quality of my dental work. (update) just had 2 more cavities filled, totally painless during, all I felt was pressure as I was being anesthetized ... and then during drilling and such all I felt was cold sensitivity to the cold air and water (and that sensation was less intense than digging my fingernail into my palm -- which is how I distract myself) ... but no "pain" as such.

As always my mouth feels wonderful after Susie cleans my teeth and I got two new retainers (one is really a tooth guard for clenching) and I have no trouble sleeping with them at all. Fantastic experience: Suzi, my hygienist is thorough and Dr. Bloom is very knowledgeable. The only issue I have is I don't think they should be charging their clients for the PPE. That's their responsibility to the public.
