Fantastic experience: So I hadn't been to the dentist in almost a decade. They were very welcoming and went into great detail on what was wrong and how to right the wrongs, cost with my insurance and the end results. Great place. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I recently had another emergency root canal and crown, and once again Dr. Ifantis and his team took excellent care of me. This was my second emergency procedure with great results both times. I’ve seen Dr. Ifantis at least half a dozen times over the years, including for routine exams. The staff is professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable—even helping patients navigate their insurance benefits. In my experience, Dr. Ifantis truly deserves 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: As a young adult, I was nervous to begin a dental journey on my own. Ifantis dental was the first dentist that I used under my own insurance, they made the onboarding process easy and informative. I came in for a new patient screening, was given a detailed description of what I need done, plus what the recommend for preventative measures. I was able to complete almost 10 fillings in short notice, to satisfy my long overdue dental needs. They made me feel welcome, worked around my schedule, and were friendly individuals to work with. I would recommend this dentist to people who are afraid of the dental process, as they will make you feel calm, informed, and comfortable at all times. Thank you Ifantis! Fantastic experience: I have had such a great experience here. Dr. Ifantis is very friendly, polite and considerate. Having 4 cavities filled went by smoothly and painlessly. His staff are also very pleasant and efficient. They take the time to explain everything, answer all your question, and ensure your visit is smooth. It's a very warm atmosphere and everyone who helped me has been top notch. I have been helped by Bonnie, Penny, and Susan that I can remember and they were exceptional. I know there were more people helping I didn't catch their names but they all were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It's hard finding an office that checks all these boxes but I'm beyond pleased with everyone and everything. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everyone from the front desk to my hygienist are professional and courteous. I am always informed of procedures to be performed and have a real time display in front of me of my x-rays. There is never a doubt that I am being treated for something necessary. It’s amazing that my tooth can be computer scanned and sent to a 3D printer to create my crown so it can be installed in the same session. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: Visited for my 9 year old son for a regular check up, x rays and cleaning. Nurse Katarzyna was very helpful and did a great job patiently. After that we had a short doctors visit to quickly review.

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was alarming enough that I feel obligated to warn others. My husband and I scheduled new patient appointments at Ifantis after moving to the area. Despite both of us having excellent dental hygiene and having been seen by our previous dentist less than a year prior, they told my husband he had 5 cavities and told me I had 4. We were shocked, nothing in our prior exams suggested any issues. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. The next dentist performed new X-rays and a thorough exam and confirmed that neither of us had ANY cavities at all. On top of that, before we were even allowed to leave the appointment at the Ifantis, a “financial coordinator” came into the exam room to go over payment plan options and quotes totaling thousands of dollars for all this supposedly "needed" dental work. The whole thing felt more like a high-pressure sales pitch than a legitimate medical visit, which was a huge red flag. I’m grateful we trusted our instincts and got another opinion. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Ifantis for their dental work. Their practices felt misleading, unethical, and geared toward pushing unnecessary dental work to make more of a profit. There are plenty of reputable dentists in the area, go to one of them and avoid Ifantis at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Let me just say - I’m extremely nervous of dentists. I was a bit skeptic & anxious; but John & his staff, receptionist were all so patient & extremely helpful & understanding. The most comforting. The best tech. And they are flexible and work with you. The best dentist you could find! If you’re worried, come here. (I got root canal - painless!)

Negative experience: They will try to run up the bill on you. Was sold fillings for micro cavities that I believe were not needed. One of such fillings was done very poorly.

Negative experience: The doctor did not addressed the tooth that was aching, instead he was focussed on the treatment and everything on the different teeth. Cleaning wasn't even offered. I went home with the headache and toothache .

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist no longer took my insurance. My wife recommended Dr. Infantis. I was very impressed with all the staff . They have the latest technology like 3d imagining which I never had before . Dr. Infantis was warm and did a complete assessment and even referred me to an oral surgeon to look at my tongue had some discoloration since I smoke cigars . Definitely I am recommending this dental office for their overall professionalism and great customer service . I came back for my first treatment for dental work . The care of the staff is top notch the technology is the most current they used technology I was never exposed to which increased my level of comfort ie- a breathing piece that helps you breathe so your not fighting to take a breath while the dentist is working it was not an issue he was able to do his work while I was made to feel ease during the work . He had laser as well for my cavities. I also had to have an emergency dental visit . I was able to schedule the next day . He spent several hours working with me and several staff were there helping taking care of me . I give this practice a 10 in overall service . You’ll be blown away by their staff , technology and service .

Negative experience: They try to upsell treatments outside of what insurance covers. Then refused to do cleaning same day because I didn’t want 3D X-rays even though I specified I wanted regular cleaning and regular X-rays. Wasted my time! Why can’t they do X-rays and cleaning the same day! Bizarre!

Fantastic experience: This dental office is great. Dr. Ifantis and all the assistants are so knowledgeable. They removed and replaced an old crown in one appointment, and it healed and felt great in a day or two.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. The staff are leaches. They come up with a bunch of BS because they just want to squeeze every bit of money out of you. I've been going to a different dentist and they have no clue about it. Their number is blocked on my phone.

Negative experience: I had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Ifantis’s dental practice that I feel compelled to share. Despite initial promises to treat my infected tooth effectively, the procedures were unsuccessful, even after multiple attempts. I spent over $4000 on treatments that ultimately failed. When I returned for additional support, I was informed that further costly procedures, including an implant, would be required. Regrettably, I am still without a satisfactory resolution. One particular procedure involved a bone graft, which did not seem to deliver the intended results. I have been left with a significant impact on my appearance, making me self-conscious about my smile. This experience has raised concerns for me regarding the focus on financial gains over patient care at this practice. While I did encounter challenges, I would like to recognize the efforts of the hygienist, who is highly skilled and professional. Additionally, Susan at the front desk was courteous and helpful. However, I found other interactions at the front desk, particularly with Maribel, to be less welcoming. In summary, my experience has left me disappointed, and I would not recommend this practice based on my personal journey. I hope this feedback can be helpful in improving the level of care and service provided to future patients.

ALL of the staff are absolutely wonderful; working with each other and myself and percent in sync with Dr John. They re ability and professionalism is so real, I felt safe. I was shocked that no needles were even used in the numbing process , even more reducing my anxiety. I had to have a serious quick removal of my teeth as the infection was so bad that it led to medical issues that weren't able to be completed until the teeth were removed. DR John is funny, complimentary to his staff, explanatory, kind and informative, keeping me in the loop as he did his job with a smile . He is my new dentist boyfriend, lol. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ifantis has dedicated himself to be the best in his field on every level. Skill, communication, education, empathy and human understanding. My dental health and overall quality of life are at it's peak thanks to Dr. John Ifantis.

Negative experience: Total Scam Dentist. They convinced me I had horrible tooth decay and that I needed a bunch of fillings and caps put on my teeth. The doctor Ifantis is condescending and lies about everything. He brags he’s one of 3 dentists that use gentle wave and then I overhear him bragging to another patient that he’s one of 9 Dentists that use gentle wave. That’s his claim to fame that he has that piece of equipment that can clean canals really well and he’s hell -bent on using it. Yes even on teeth that may not need root canals. He boasts about the technology he uses and throws around the buzzword artificial intelligence to support the reasoning behind his “detection” of phantom cavities that aren’t even there. He gave me a laundry list of items that needed fillings, caps, and immediate attention. He convinced me I have very bad tooth decay all over my mouth and that it’s advanced and needs to be treated right away. He said I have very large nerves on my teeth and that’s why cavities could be at risk for root canals so quickly and I needed this work done right away. I got a laugh from another dentist when asking if I have large nerves. He said they are very much normal. What a joke. Other lies he spouts: 1. you need to come in the next couple of weeks. We don’t want the cavities to worsen and have another root canal scenario. 2. I have special technology that incorporates AI and detects cavities other dentists would never detect. Here’s 9 teeth you have cavities on. Oh but the AI wasn’t good enough to detect the size of the cavity I had to preform a last minute root canal on. 3. My engineer patients are always difficult with understanding things they cannot control. (Is it because we question your needed last minute procedures where the patient needs to accept the extra thousands bill?). 4. You have teeth wear down, that’s why they chip so easily when I’m hitting them with my metal tools. You should consider wearing a mouth guard. (I do not grind my teeth in my sleep) 5. You should get into my teeth cleaning program where we go above and beyond a regular cleaning like the other dentists. I can’t fathom what his cleaning program consists of. Another red flag is the revolving door of assistants he has present. There was new personnel every time I went in. Additionally, he bangs around the metal tools in your mouth and always hits your teeth. I’ve counted 4 times on my last visit he’s done it after I confronted him about chips I saw on my teeth from previous visits. I had to argue with the assistant and make my case to the dentist that those chips were not there before. The cherry on the cake was that she tried pointing to pictures they took before of my teeth upon the initial consultation and said there is no chip on the tooth. Of course, the picture was of a totally different tooth and she quickly backtracked. I made him fill the chips and had to refuse his recommended work using a drill piece he wanted to drill in my canine with “so the filling won’t fall out”. I had to reiterate to him absolutely not, put a small filling on the chip and if it falls out I’m fine with that. Do not do any unnecessary procedures for such a minor issue. Conclusion is, I regret ever having stepped foot in his office. The first $179 fee for X-rays and consultation should have been a red flag but I persisted and bought the lies that he was selling. After going to another dentist, he found only 1 cavity on my teeth as opposed to the 7 I thought I had from Dr. Ifantis. As I began to question this new dentist on all of the teeth that I had thought needed fillings he took me one by one explaining that if x-rays and physical probing (provided me with a mirror to check) do not detect a cavity and if I have no sensitivity to hot/cold that he would not recommend working on those teeth with prior fillings. This dental office is highly suspicious of fraudulent activity when it comes to the work they convince their patients needs to be done. If you value your teeth, time, mental health, and money- stay far away!

Negative experience: I want to share my unfortunate experience at Infantis Dentistry. I chose it as my dental care provider last year. After a routine cleaning and X-ray, I was informed that I had five cavities that needed filling. The cleaning process was very satisfactory, with friendly and professional staff. However, my nightmare began after Dr. Monica performed the fillings. Immediately after the procedure, I noticed that my teeth on both sides became unusually sensitive. Any contact with hard foods would cause excruciating pain, and the situation did not improve even after two months. I returned to Dr. Monica twice to address the issue. The first time, she suggested that my teeth were uneven and performed some trimming, which only made the symptoms worse. On my second visit, she was visibly impatient, performed a brief examination, and then told me there was nothing more she could do. She recommended I schedule a root canal procedure to resolve the issue. Additionally, she tried to upsell various products, like a night guard, despite me informing her that I had no issues with teeth grinding. After enduring months of pain and frustration, I sought help from my previous dentist. After examining my teeth, he was shocked by Dr. Monica's suggestion for a root canal, explaining that my symptoms were clearly due to a poor filling. In addtion, he discovered that the filling material used by Dr. Monica had even completely blocked the gap between two adjacent teeth. Thankfully, my previous dentist removed the faulty filling and replaced it, which immediately alleviated my pain, allowing me to eat normally again. However, the damage caused by Dr. Monica's work has left my teeth extremely sensitive, and I still cannot eat anything acidic without discomfort. While Infantis Dentistry has many positive reviews, and I agree that most of the staff are nice, my experience with Dr. Monica has left me questioning her competence and integrity. I’m not sure if this kind of terrible outcome has happened to others, but it’s certainly affected my life. Before seeing Dr. Monica, I regularly visited my dentist and had no dental issues. Now, after her treatment, I feel like my normal life has been ruined. On top of that, she billed my insurance over $5,000 for work that ultimately destroyed my teeth. This is why I’m giving one star.

Fantastic experience: Great dental hygienists, great dentist. Made the switch to Infantis when I couldn't get in to see my former dentist and they took me instantly. They have amazing tech for identifying issues with my teeth that my former dentist was not able to recognize. I enjoy the switch and the effort of care made to retain great dental health from their team!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are new patients to this facility, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the place. Everyone, literally every staff member, has been so kind, soft spoken and gentle, and do everything they can to ensure your comfort and maintain a tranquil atmosphere. 10/10, never going to anyone else ever again. It’s a huge plus that my wife has a legit phobia of dentists, and the staff came together to comfort her and ensure her feelings of safety and warmth. Love this place.

Fantastic experience: I am 96 years young and was very apprehensive about having a root canal procedure. Dr. Infantis and his great staff made my experience a good one. They were totally there for my comfort and overall well-being. You cannot go wrong with the Infantis Team!!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome office! Great staff, very friendly and accompanying. Dr Ifantis is so easy to talk to and very thorough. I was taken back at first when I arrived because of its location and aesthetic, but then I realized, ‘hmm. He’s not wasting money being fancy so he can focus on his patients needs instead.’ And he does! Did you know he’s only 1 of 6 or 7 dentists in Chicagoland that offers gentle wave? Actually the reason why I came here- to get the 3D cone beam scan (which my current dentist doesn’t offer) to check for hidden infections not normally seen on X-rays. Upon my initial contact to the office a week ago, Maribel took the time to understand my reason for wanting to schedule a visit as a new patient and mentioned a special they had. Thank you, Maribel! And again meeting her in person she again was very friendly, understanding and personable. LOVE THIS PLACE! Excited to start my treatment plan here.
