Negative experience: My scheduled cleaning appointment was given away because I didn't reply to a generic text message that was sent prior to the appointment despite it not stating that policy. Nor was there a courtesy phone call until the morning of that told me I would have my appointment given away. Very frustrating to say the least

Negative experience: The office manager, I believe her name was Tina, was SO RUDE to my elderly client today, even was laughing at her in front of her face while everyone stood around and did nothing. She didn’t know i was there for my client and heard the whole thing. She made her feel so unsafe and uncomfortable. This place needs new office staff..

My hygienist Nina is fantastic, she explains everything in practical details and do a great work on my teeth. Dr. Sean is great, compassionate and knowledgeable and very nice. If you are looking for a dentist for the whole family, this is where you want to go!

Negative experience: WARNING ... DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! I made the mistake to go to this dentist w/my family and I learned to regret the choice I made. Not only is his staff rude, vile and unprofessional but Dr. Sean Cullinan charges patient for services not rendered. I went to him last year for 5 minutes and he sent me away saying he can't do the work and needs to go to an oral surgeon and he couldn't help me. Keep in mind, I wasn't a new patient and all he wants is money. He sent me away but charged me. He truly doesn't care about his patients but the Almighty dollar and if you are considering to go here and take yourself or family member to this dentist...You've been warned!

Negative experience: Made an appointment and even received a text message about it, when I called to confirm they told me they had no record of me and no appointment, and were hard to communicate with. Will be going somewhere else!

Negative experience: Stay away!!!! As of Jan 15, 2024 we have still not received a refund from Dr Seans office, and can not get a return call from Maria or Dr Sean. Proceduce was in August, they have been holding over $500 of our money. After 2 requests to speck directly with Dr Sean, no response. Terrible unprofessional staff and lack of follow through on insurance coverage. Prepaid procedure 5 months ago and still have not received refund of overpayment.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I had a dental emergency and I couldn’t wait to get to my dentist (Gallery Park Dental.) Due to the winter weather, my dentist had to cancel on me. Now, I was in excruciating pain and Family Dental stepped up to the plate and told me to come in. Unfortunately, I am still in a lot of pain and I’m not sure we really got to the bottom of my issue, but I so appreciate Family Dental taking me in and trying to help me. I sure hope I feel better soon!!!

Negative experience: I am not certain why I was treated like I had a scarlet A on my chest. This morning, I was a new patient and by this afternoon I became a rejected patient. True, I know some doctors don't like to treat lawyers. I started at Johns Hopkins in Epidemiology when I was 68, graduated but didn't practice. I thought that would cancel out the lawyer's thing distrust. I didn't have $1300 which was the balance after insurance for a crown. It was 3 days before Christmas and I was tapped out. I asked if there were any payment arrangements available, and they said NO and rushed me out so fast that I almost fell out of the chair. Primarily because I couldn't perform an Olympics straddle sideways split kick to get over the chair handle. After spilling my purse, I guess they decided it would be quicker to take the 15 seconds to lower the chair. I asked to speak to Sean Cullinan. They said he was out of the Office but I could hear his voice speaking to a patient. This left me in pain, without a Doctor on Christmas Eve. After doing tow minutes of googleing I found Credit Care, was accepted, I applied, was accepted. Even more confusing was when Family Dental called to confirm my already scheduled appointment in January, I asked Why would I go through the new phase patient testing if they couldn’t perform services after. She quickly hung up.. in closing I just want to thank Sean for leaving me with a Christmas tooth ache. Difficult when all 6 of my kids with my grands decided to fly in from Belgium and surprise me. Like you could have that many kids who could pull off a surprise. Merry Christmas to Jeanette to who was more confused than I was!

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money here. They filled my wife’s tooth and in less than 6 months they had to fill it again due to problem with the first work. At the time of the second service they said it is the same tooth but then they forced us to pay again. since now they are not in network we had to pay even more than the first time. Now they falsly claim it’s a different tooth. But I guess they needed the $170 more than us, so they are willing to cheat and lie. To make the matter worse, my wife still has issues with the same tooth. Do not get fooled by the nice office and the beautiful fish tank.

Fantastic experience: This will be my 2nd review years later and the impeccable service is still the same!! Amazing amazing amazing place! Seriously I can’t rave about this place enough. Dr. Cullinan is the BEST DENTIST I have EVER been to. I recommend him to everyone that needs a dentist!! The staff is phenomenal as well! Trust me you will not be disappointed!!!!

I gave it only one star because they gave me the price initially one and last minute asked me a question, I said yes (without knowing it would cost me more) and the bill came $2k more! they were never open to negotiate after btw.

Fantastic experience: Best dental service ever! Not only are people here super nice, but they do their jobs great and with passion! I was one of those kids that lemented seeing the dentist whenever I went and I was a big crybaby about it, but after I started coming here I have yet to shed a tear or go through an experience nearly as painful as getting a shot in the mouth (they don't do that here, seriously it's all pain free and numbing q-tips for procedures). I can say all of that confidently having had a tooth pulled out of my head that even that experience was better than a typical visit at any other dentist. Seriously consider coming here, it'll be one of the best changes you make in your life.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to family dental for years. After moving an hour away, I tried a new dentist for one visit and immediately decided to make the longer drive to keep seeing Dr. Cullinan & his staff. In 2021, I also started working with Dr. Figueroa for orthodontic work with Invisalign and am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend this office for dental and orthodontic services.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist since the beginning of the pandemic so I was definitely due for an appointment. I originally went to a different office and they quoted me thousands for a significant amount of work. I decided to get a second opinion and Family Dental was an option that I opted to try. After visiting this location, it turns out I only needed a filling and my teeth are in great shape. I came in on a Tuesday and had an appointment for my filling the very next day. The entire process was efficient and I felt no pain or discomfort while being treated. I’m completely satisfied with my experience - and I’m not a huge fan of the dentist but everyone in the office is kind, helpful, and professional. I have recommended this dental office to family members. I think I will be returning as an official patient.

Needless to say, +12 years later, all my kids now see Dr. Cullinan as well! So happy we found a dentist who not only does great work but also doesn't try to push any unnesssary work to make more money (like our former dentist in the city). Love Bee (best hygenist ever!), and all the friendly and helpful staff at Family Dental!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Family Dental since I was a kid! And now I bring my 3 kiddos. Even though we live in the city I have always come back because I just love how thorough and attentive they are. They make me and everyone in my family feel so at ease (all of my kids LOVE coming to the dentist)! Dr. Cullinan doesn’t just consider you another number in his office, he genuinely cares and remembers to ask about things that you talked about at the last visit. I can’t recommend this dentist office enough!

The staff at the front, Maria and Danielle are always kind and helpful if you have any questions about your bill or benefits. Dr. Cullinan is awesome. He is compassionate and personable. Very transparent and understanding of your needs. The great staff and honesty is why I keep coming back. Kudos to the dental hygienists as well. Anyone that is struggling to find a great dentist and staff, this is the place.

Fantastic experience: Came for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation. I was in pain for 4 days prior and they were ready to take it out for me and relieve me of the pain. Went super fast that I didn’t realize the tooth was already out. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: This dentistry is 12/10 stars. The receptionists and dental surgeons have been so kind and patient throughout the entire process of my wisdom teeth removal. I was extremely anxious through the whole process and they made it very clear and easy to navigate through aftercare and pre-procedure details. This place really cares about your comfort and explaining the process thouroughly. Not only are they attentive to your specific needs but they execute their jobs really well, the surgeon took me in early and paid attention to my discomfort. Overall the entire environment is fantastic and all the people there have been very amazing!

Have done basic care, two wisdom teeth surgeries, and invisalign with the additional staff; everyone is friendly and helpful. I'd rather keep this place a secret so appointments are easier to get, but you really will love it here.
