Negative experience: My whole family went to Dr Rabor when she took over the practice and we really liked her but after only a short time 4 of us have had to have fillings replaced because she never effectively removed all the decay underneath and or sealed them properly. This has happened multiple times with her fillings. Not only did we have to go thru the discomfort of additional dental work but insurance wouldn’t pay for the work because the fillings shouldn’t have needed to be replaced yet. I would NOT recommend

Fantastic experience: What a treasure. After calling nearly a half dozen dentists in the area, I was fortunate to come across Chicago Dental Esthetics. I was concerned my front teeth bonding (to fill in a gap) needed to be removed and replaced. Even a consultation to determine if that was the case could cost $200-350, with or without that cost going towards any recommend treatment, at the other offices. My experience with Chicago Dental Esthetics was different from the very first interaction. The receptionist was kind and professional; and CDE offered a free consultation to determine recommended services. In my case, Dr. Rabor was especially generous in providing quick X-rays and a polish to rule out need for further work. I felt so well taken care of! To my delight, my issue was corrected with her polishing and didn't require further care at this time. I would highly recommend Dr. Rabor to anyone looking for exceptional work to be provided by an especially kind and knowledgeable doctor and her team. Thank you, Dr. Rabor!

Fantastic experience: Very glad I switched to this dentist from Revolution Dentistry. The front end is run smoothly and now that I have had two cleanings, I feel this practice has given me more tools to improve my at home dental care. I like Dr. Rabor a lot. She explained my X-rays last fall-this has never been done by previous practitioners.

Fantastic experience: For someone with high dental anxiety, Dr. Rabor and most of her team were empathetic, gentle, and kind. After having avoided the dentist for many many years, due to moving around, other life priorities, I finally found Dr. Rabor and went in for a visit. I would say that my experience overall has been great - they have been very understanding and accommodating of my anxiety/fears, and have addressed them during visits. They are also a high tech office, so their x-rays are done in the same room as your visit/cleaning. They have a TV in front to show you your records and images, and they have a TV above you so you can watch the blue oceans of the world while getting treatment. Most of her staff are very kind and are great at helping you feel at ease, I'd highly recommend this office!

Her eye for detail is exactly what you want when dealing with front-facing dental work. Additionally, I’ve struggled with teeth grinding for a while, and will be getting a custom night guard after my veneer work. Dr. Rabor doesn't just "fix teeth"; she educates you on your oral health. Fantastic experience: Update: got the easiest, best looking crown imaginable. I recommend this practice 100%! -- From start to finish, it was a great experience. Libby even made me a hot cup of coffee on my first visit. ☕️ I had mentioned to her that I was hoping to have one, so she brewed a pot and had a hot cup waiting in the exam room when I got there. This small touch meant a lot. The other woman at the front was also very warm— Mariam perhaps? Dr. Rabor was incredibly warm, authentic, and thorough. She explained things to me about my teeth that no one had ever taken the time to explain before. I often feel rushed in and out at dentists, and leave confused about what I really need and the true state of my teeth. After leaving this practice I feel much more in control of what’s happening. I need some work done. As we all know, dental care costs in this country are through the roof. I’d considered going out of the country for dental work. I learned that I can get everything I need, and spend a month in a very nice country including lodging (to stay long enough for the follow up care) for a fraction of what it will cost me here in the US. I’ve decided to stay & do it here. Dr. Rabor’s quote was less than it was at another North Shore dentist. When I took a look at the other dentist’s estimate, I see that they added all kinds of small costs to puff up the bill. I understand that we all have to make a living, but that just doesn’t feel very honest to me, especially when I had let them know that I’m on a tight budget. I’m returning next week for a cleaning & believe this practice will be my new go-to.

I had a fear of dentists due to all my prior bad experiences, and because of this, I neglected my teeth for many years. I'm 42 years old now and wanted to fix my teeth and be proud to smile. I knew there would be a lot of work, and I was embarrassed and uncomfortable going in. But Dr. Rabor is such an easy person to talk to, and her staff is so kind. It was a very pleasant experience. Not only is she a great person, but she is always making sure I don't feel pain, which is something a lot of dentists don't do or don't care about. Because of my anxiety, I tend to be more sensitive to pain than others, and anesthetics don't work the way they do for other people, so I require a little more. She respected my pain tolerance and would immediately stop working to apply more anesthesia. I'm very happy
