Fantastic experience: The staff was excellent -very thorough and professional

Fantastic experience: I recently became a patient of Dr. Clayton McCarl and was very impressed with my first visit. After many years of putting work and other responsibilities ahead of my own dental care, I have quite a bit of work that needs to be done. Dr. McCarl took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel pressured. He came across as experienced, honest, and genuinely concerned about doing what is best for the patient. He is also very personable and easy to talk with. After meeting with him, I feel confident that I chose the right dentist and would highly recommend him. Ron

Fantastic experience: So glad I found this dentist office! The facility is impeccably clean, and the entire team is so kind and professional. My visit with Dr. Segreti couldn’t have gone smoother, and I felt I was in good hands from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been a dental patient here for many years. I recently got a new crown and as always a 5 ⭐️ experience. My appointment was at 10 am and I was finished by 12:30 pm.. complete! A crown is a one day procedure since they make your crown in the office! Yes- one trip, one day! I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Always friendly and helpful and do great work. Make my kid feel comfortable and not afraid of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Very personal and professional experience with all staff.

Fantastic experience: ALWAYS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE…. They all are very professional. I’ve had a variety of dentists through the years…. Dr. Clayton McCarl and his dental group are by far——The BEST dental practice I’ve ever EXPERIENCED.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about this practice. Dr Clayton and Ashley were wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. I went in thinking I was going to be spending tens of thousands on implants. Not the case, Dr Clayton restored my smile better than it was 20 years ago and for a fraction of what I thought I’d have to spend.

Fantastic experience: This was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. The hygienist was calm, took the time to explain what was going on and did a wonderful pain-free cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Nobody likes dentists. That has always been the case. NO LONGER TRUE. I am amazed at the kind, communicative, technically excellent and truly PAIN FREE experiences I have had here. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Shipley's Dental Care formerly McCarl Dental Group for 28 years, and I feel like part of their family. The entire team is professional, friendly, competent and have kept my dental care up to date so that I will have my teeth for a long time. I am totally confident that I am receiving the best dental care possible. How many people look forward to going to the dentist? I do!

Fantastic experience: We always feel greatly welcomed as soon as we enter their facility. The staff, hygienists and the doctors make us feel comfortable and they do such an excellent job in taking care of our teeth and health. My wife and I highly recommend Shipley’s Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dr. Clayton for decades and really like him and all the staff. My husband came as well.I even followed the practice when it opened a new location near my new home. I’ve always had good service and healthy teeth as a result. The doctors and the staff are very professional and also have state of the art imaging equipment that make the dental experience as enjoyable (really!) as possible. I highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed at the amount of concern that to make sure I was pain free if I needed breaks and comfortable with a neck pillow I will recommend to my friends also extremely clean environment

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist had retired and I didn't care for the new person who took after his practice. I came to the practice after high recommendations from a neighbor and I've been very very happy with everything! I've been seeing Dr. Jay since 2020 and he always makes it as delightful of an experience as he can. I was under quite a bit of stress and battling TMJ- he had repaired a good amount of my cracked/damaged teeth. He does great work, is quick, honest and always makes me laugh. His dental hygienist's are also very kind and knowledgeable. They've pointed out things I was unaware about and things for me to look out for.

Fantastic experience: I just had a great experience at the practice! From the moment I walked in, the front desk team was incredibly welcoming and efficient. The doctor was outstanding—professional, thorough, and reassuring. The tech was excellent and made everything feel so smooth. The entire visit was completely painless and surprisingly easy. Everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The best dental care starting from all the Dr McCarls to Dr Perez and staff. I will refer and continue coming to this practice that I have been coming to for over 30 years at both locations.

Fantastic experience: Rachel, Sally, Jay and now Beyonce, are always friendly, capable and professional. I actually enjoy going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I loved them when they were McCarl Dental Group and I love them as Shipley’s Dental Care. The doctors and staff go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Their priority is your care and your health. They truly are the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Always great service, back again in a few months. Thank You, Rusty

Fantastic experience: Michelle is hands down the best! I actually felt heard after years of having bad experiences at other Dental offices. 10/10 would recommend. Now I feel good about going to the dentist. Thank you to the whole team there!

Fantastic experience: This has been our go-to for several years now and we couldn't be happier. Everyone here goes out of their way to make you comfortable and relaxed. Hightly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: As always, my experience was exceptional. Kim did an excellent and very careful cleaning, including an oral cancer examination, and thorough charting and offered good suggestions for improved oral hygiene focusing on the health of my gums adjacent to my implants. Dr. Perez examined me carefully, including her own check for oral cancer and other conditions. Both answered my questions fully and with clear care for my wellbeing. I am very happy with my experience at Shipley’s Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: They are definitely the three P's. Professional, polite, and patient. They go through everything with you. You can tell they truly care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jay and Josie were very kind and thorough. The visit felt calm and I didn’t feel rushed at all. Overall, a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived in several states and had several different dentists over the years and I have to say this was THE BEST experience I’ve ever had. The front desk was so friendly the day I popped in to see if they were accepting new patients. I felt welcomed enough to go back. The care I received from Ashley, the hygienist, coupled with her knowledge was enough to convince me I was in the right place. All the extra care I was given, and the technology they used, was far beyond normal from what I have witnessed in the past. Just have to say my husband will be transferring his care there and need I say I will be going back. One other perk - the practice is less than a mile from my home. I had been driving 45 minutes for just average care so I am feeling . Thanks to all of you!!

Fantastic experience: Caring, friendly, professional service. The best dentist I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Meet your “new” dental practice. Yeah, I love it here and have been a patient for almost 15 years. Beautifully updated waiting room, plus top notch dentists and staff. Always prompt appointment times and precision dental work. You’re welcome.

Fantastic experience: Great dental cleaning experience. Everyone was so kind and pleasant. Dr Jay provided a very detailed examination and addressed all of my concerns.

Fantastic experience: The moment we arrived at McCarl Dental we were warmly greeted by front office staff who made us feel a part of the McCarl family. Our dental assistant, with her soft spoken and reassuring manner, escorted my granddaughter to her 1st visit. Dr. Jay reassured her and his gentle soft spoken manner put her at ease. His outstanding dentistry skills left her with a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile. Forever Grateful.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist and dental care in the world. The entire team is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Deep cleaning and scaling is nobody’s idea of a good time but yesterdays experience with Amanda was as pleasant as such a thing can be.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients here for years, loving every visit. Between my children and I, we have seen each doctor multiple times. I appreciate the whole team- from the warm and welcoming front office staff to the friendly and skilled hygienists. Everything is explained so clearly and I never feel rushed or pressured. An appointment here is like visiting family.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Jay is the most wonderful caring Doctor. He took incredible care of me during a very difficult dental experience. Can't recommend this office more!

Fantastic experience: Shipley’s Dental Care is the most welcoming and professional dental practice I have ever experienced in the greater Annapolis area. Dr. Perez takes her time and truly cares about ensuring I receive the best dental care and makes sure I am comfortable in the chair. Most importantly she is very delicate when working in my mouth, I had no pain at all during my procedure! The front desk team and hygienists are also very warm and personable! The office design is very welcoming and updated. This is definitely the cleanest practice I have experienced. Overall 10/10 experience and If you want a family dentist who truly cares for your overall health look no further!

Fantastic experience: Dr Segreti is top notch. She's a great addition to the Shipley Dental team! I just completed 3 visits to fill 5 delicate, not-east-to-get at cavities. Dr Segreti and Allana took to the task with good care, high skill and an assuring confidence. While I hope not to be back too soon, they will be my team at Shipley Dental!

Fantastic experience: The best dental care!! Clean and friendly!! Very professional!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the dental office is kind, friendly, helpful. No matter how busy, Dr Perez takes her time to get to the bottom of my gum issue.

Fantastic experience: Thorough first / new patient exam. Had never had dental scans before . Very interesting to see three-D pictures. Dr Perez explained everything in very understandable terms. Office pristine clean and very efficient

Fantastic experience: (Defaulted to email address not my primary). Dr. Jay is the best! Patient care and comfort are paramount at this practice. Office staff and medical practitioners are courteous; space is attractive and welcoming; not a single complaint from me over years of dental care.

Fantastic experience: Excellent- 2 small cavities drilled and filled and scanned for whitening trays. No pain or discomfort

Fantastic experience: Had a most excellent visit. The staff was very accommodating and the dentist was very informative and gentle. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone in need of dental work.

Fantastic experience: Most professional and thorough dental care I’ve ever received. My only wish is that insurance companies could compensate them properly so that it benefits everyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Shipley’s Dental Care. I recently had a crown come off just a few days before going on a 2 week vacation. I called the office and was given an appointment the following day with Dr. Jay McCarl. He and his team did an excellent job of replacing the crown and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t thank Shipley’s Dental Care enough for handling my problem so promptly and professionally. I highly recommend them for anyone needing dental care.

Fantastic experience: I lost a cap at 9:30 am yesterday. I was able to get an appointment at 10:30am. By 11:30am I was as good as new. I can’t ask for more than that.

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice ever! Caring and compassionate care from the techs to the Doctors. We have never had a bad experience.

Fantastic experience: Very good dental experience. Everything was explained in detail. Office staff and the dentist were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dental plans made and I feel confident in choosing Shipley to do the job.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist; I don’t mind going to Shipley’s. Friendly front desk, hygienist Paige is efficient and funny and Dr. Perez is the consummate professional. You just gotta love these folks. Makes going to the dentist a nice experience.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place to go to get dental work. The staff is awesome, especially Sally and Jay. They always work with me on my teeth. I love the atmosphere, and the office is gorgeously decorated. When you enter the office, the staff greets you with a pleasant smile.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a kind, knowledgeable, professional and all round great Dentist, look no further. From start to finish this dental office is the best! From the front desk staff, the hygienist, dental assistants and Dentist, they are all extremely nice and professional. I’ve been searching for a Dentist for over two years (my son and daughter-in-law are Dentists, so I’m extremely picky) and I found the one! So relieved. Big thank you to McCarl Dental Group! Try them you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: For me in for emergency appointment. Dental assistant was wonderful and showed empathy toward my dental fears.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Clayton and his staff really care about their patients and it shows in their work.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a very nervous Nelly when it came to going to the dentist. I have been a patient of McCarl Dental, now Shipley’s Dental Care, for many years . It did not take long to learn I had nothing to fear while under their care. If you are like me in a dentist chair, give Shipley’s Dental Care the opportunity to put your fears to rest. You will love all who work there. Very professional and caring.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this dental office from start to finish. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, making check-in and scheduling simple and stress-free. The hygienist was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Dr. Perez was incredibly professional and kind, answering all of my questions and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the appointment. The office itself is clean, and well-organized, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention given at every step—highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly dental team!

Fantastic experience: Great establishment. The entire staff were nice and always smiling! My daughter and I love this establishment!

Fantastic experience: I needed extensive work done due to bad heredity, bad habits, and hyper fear of dentists. Dr. Perez was very matter of fact with me of what needed to be done. I appreciated her honesty and decided to take the journey. Every step I took, I thought would be excruciating...joke was on me. She and her wonderful assistant were so gentle and patient, AND I never had any pain. Magic. I have one more visit to complete my treatment, and I assure you, I will be keeping my appointments for cleanings, etc. with no hesitation. Thank you all for being so professional and warm. From the receptionists to everyone who just smiles and says hello as you go back to your room, thank you for making my experience so positive!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental group for all family and friends members

Fantastic experience: Best dentist office I’ve ever been to. You get treated like family. Have been going to them for 15 plus years and highly highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful visit with Dr. Jay and Paige for a much needed tooth extraction and I could not recommend them more highly! Professional, updated, informative, effective, and great bedside manor. Every team member here made me feel at ease and I'm so grateful to have found this dental practice. Thank you McCarl Group for serving our community. :)

Fantastic experience: In August I came in after not having been to the dentist for a couple of years, and I was very nervous. My dental hygienist, I think her name is Ashley, was beyond comforting. She did not make me feel guilty in anyway, was very kind, and explained everything better than anyone ever has before. She showed me the serious need to improve my dental hygiene in the most kind way. I followed her advice and came in yesterday to see if it worked and for a cleaning. It did! And the hygienist that saw me yesterday was just as encouraging. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! This is a dental office that will leave you with a smile in so many ways. What a gracious and courteous staff. I appreciate you so much. I will highly recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. As a first time patient, I got a full set of X-rays, cleaning and exam for 75.00. I spent many years in dentistry as an assistant and this office was very impressive. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at McCarl Dental Group at Shipley's Choice and I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McCarl and his staff were amazing! My 94 year old mother has advanced dementia and needed to have a tooth pulled. I knew that she was in good hands as soon as we arrived. They made her feel safe and at ease and she went through the entire process with no problem. I can't express how thankful I am to the entire staff. My mother has been a patient of Dr. McCarl for many years and always said what a wonderful dentist he was. Now I know why. They don't get any better than this! Gratefully, Sonia Greene

Fantastic experience: I was evaluated and x-rayed for a broken tooth by Dr Perez and her assistant Becca. Even though I won't be using this practice for my crown, because they don't take my insurance. I can say without hesitation, Dr Perez and Becca were nothing short of WONDERFUL. Their care, compassion and gentle demeanor was unexpected, BUT so appreciated! If you need a dentist, Dr Perez will treat you with respect and thoughtfulness. Thank you again Becca and Dr Perez.

Fantastic experience: Don’t make a mistaken and go anywhere else but here what a fabulous, knowledgeable, kind considerate, happy group I’ve ever come across and believe me I visit a different dental office every year so I can control what gets done for me. Sometimes I don’t like the dental assistance attitude, or are there too rough in my mouth or, the dentist comes over a little bit too overbearing or they try to push work that I don’t need but none of that happens here I left smiling and happy I felt special and who does two hours of work for an initial visit of $55 I’m talking panoramic, x-rays, regular x-rays Plus cleaning my teeth and I have sensitive gum so I asked for lidocaine and believe me I was thoroughly numb they could’ve done anything they wanted. I would’ve been happy.

Fantastic experience: First appointment went really well. Everyone was so friendly and thorough. Any potential issue was explained in depth to me. I appreciate that the hygenist and the dentist were fully engaged! I did not feel like I was just in an assembly line like I have at previous dentists.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the practice for many years. The Dental Group are wonderful. They care very much about their patients. I recommend them any time!

Fantastic experience: The dentist made sure I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure . They make even sure you don't feel the novacane shot. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Plus they fit me into their busy schedule for a same day visit because I had a dental emergency.

Fantastic experience: The entire team at the McCarl Dental Group are fantastic. I went for the first time via a recommendation from a friend under extreme circumstances. They were patient, sympathetic and in my opinion jumped thru hoops to make sure I was able to get into an Endodontics office so that I was out of pain. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a Great Experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Also very beautiful ladies.

Fantastic experience: I had a AMAZING EXPERIENCE HERE , they were very nice and welcoming , especially the front desk - Aislinn … she was very sweet.. i recommend 100%

Fantastic experience: A FANTASTIC OFFICE! Staff is very welcoming and understanding. They take their time to make you feel comfortable and make sure you have no worries. Dr.Perez will go above and beyond for her patients to walk out with a pleasant experience and happy with their smile. I recommend everyone to visit McCarl dental group. From the Doctors to the hygienist to the assistants & front desk everyone is absolutely phenomenal!!!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to this location before but I have been a patient of Dr. Michelle Perez. She is caring, intelligent, and her hand skills are top notch. I was recommended to get an extraction of a failing root canal bc an oral surgeon told me my wisdom tooth could replace it. After a consult with Dr. Michelle she recommended to have a second opinion instead of jumping to extract my tooth (I was 22 and didn’t want to be missing a tooth at such a young age). She referred me to a root canal specialist who took a fancy Xray (CBCT) which showed a simple fix of redoing one of the canals where there was still bacteria. To this day almost 10 years later I have a perfectly healthy molar still in my mouth because of her! Would trust her over and over! Don’t hesitate to book an appt with her. She will talk to you with grace, as if you’re her family member and doesn’t pass judgement which I’ve definitely had in other offices…
