Fantastic experience: They were very nice , my child was relaxed and happy during cleaning and treatment I'm very happy we changed to here. Clean environment, bright inside and everyone here was nice . My child's happy I'm happy I highly recommend switching to this office ...my kids have never been so happy to be at the Dentist everyone here is amazing

Fantastic experience: The staff was great. My daughter has never let any previous dentist do anything other than brush her teeth with a regular toothbrush. They were able to get her to do X-rays, cleaning with the electric brush, and put a sealant on her molars. I would highly recommend them.

The office itself is always well organized and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere for both children and parents. The dental assistants are wonderful. They are so friendly, encouraging, and they always go out of their way to make my kids feel at ease and cared for. You can tell they truly enjoy working with kids, and their kindness never goes unnoticed. Dr. Suzanne Motwaly is truly one of a kind. She is incredibly patient, compassionate, and has such a gentle, reassuring approach with children. She also has a natural ability to connect with them, making them feel safe, comfortable, and reassured throughout their visit. I especially appreciate how she meets each child where they are and adapts her approach to their individual needs instead of rushing or forcing anything. That level of care and understanding means so much to me as a parent. I’m so grateful to have found Amazing Smiles and couldn’t recommend them more highly to any family looking for exceptional pediatric dental care.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience at this dental clinic was very upsetting. My son was brought in for a routine dental checkup. He has a speech difficulty and, due to a previous injury that affected his upper lip, his speech and appearance are slightly different. Instead of showing professionalism, kindness, and understanding, the dentist laughed at him and mocked the way he speaks and the appearance of his upper lip. This behavior was extremely hurtful and completely unacceptable, especially from a healthcare professional working with children. No child should ever feel embarrassed, judged, or ridiculed during a medical appointment. In addition, the clinic appeared disorganized and lacked proper cleanliness and organization, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. I cannot recommend this clinic. Children deserve to be treated with respect, compassion, and dignity.

Fantastic experience: Teens and Preteens at the dentist is a toss up between grumpy mood and tough guy era. This week l has the pleasure of transporting my grandsons to Amazing Smiles Dentistry in Glen Burnie Md. Our visit was amazing from the front window to the back wall (get it? the song from the window to the wall lol) anyway I’d met this dentist last year when I’d transported an individual with special needs and her three year old daughter there. The way the dentist navigated with the young girl was amazing, so l decided to change the grand boys over to this facility also. Their first visit was phenomenal, due to the dentist personality and skill set. Her staff were all amazing, especially the hygienist that assisted with the setup and exam!

I came in, knowing there was an issue, and they acknowledged the issue and took care of the issue without questioning me or lecturing me or demeaning me. My sister chose this dentist office after a tooth removal(our dentist referred us), the energy from the staff made us return! My sister was so excited to make it on the cavity free wall, she put the work in to be on that wall and a simple dentist visit made her so proud of herself.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old had her first appt here today. This place was AMAZING!!!! The tech Niya who did her xrays, explained everything perfectly to a child who was scared and nervous. She's also a child that needs to know all the WHYs to feel comfortable and Niya nailed it! Then we met the dentist and she was so funny and made my daughter feel extremely comfortable and confident about the visit. Thank you for giving my daughter and I a great experience!!!!

Negative experience: Doctor is amazing but please adopt a new system for confirming appointments. On two separate occasions maybe even three I’ve pulled my kids out of school just to then learn they canceled the appointment because the appointment was unconfirmed. Firstly, if I didn’t cancel the appointment myself, it is extremely inconsiderate to decide for any patient to cancel. Secondly, if you want appointments effectively confirmed, adopt a system that’s works for both the practice AND the patient. The message I was able to find did not give an option to click a link to confirm, reply Yes or No etc. and the last time anyone communicated was March 30th and the appointment was 4/17z My dentist office not only sends multiple reminders up to the day, they also have an effective appointment system which provides clear and concise communication without inconveniencing the patient. It’s unfortunate this experience was bad enough that I’m switching practices altogether. Hopefully this review inspires the office to evaluate and improve their procedures.

Joe at the front desk is always super helpful and gets you in quick for emergencies, all of the other ladies that work there are very good with the kids. Fantastic experience: The exceptional care started as early as calling to get an appointment. They were very thorough communicated extremely well. Made sure that they returned my calls and worked with my schedule when I got there it was good parking the front desk staff were amazing very professional. She was in and out like the time it took was proficient. We did not sit for long and the cherry on top was Dr. Susan she was very gentle phenomenal bedside manner so much so that my daughter who hates the dentist made sure to let me know as soon as she got in the car that she really liked her and that she really enjoyed her experience. I recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We took our 13month old here, it was such a pleasant experience!!! The staff is amazing with babies and the dentist was very helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic we watched her with twins before she came to our daughter, and man, what an experience. She made it in to a storytime, had both of the young (maybe 4yr olds) engaged in the teeth cleaning process. It was a pleasure to see for sure and help ease my “new mommy” anxious nerves! Highly recommend this wonderful place. Update: my daughter is now 3, and we still really love this dental office. Highly recommend for your little ones.

Negative experience: Referred here by our dentist because our 15 month old had a head trauma and our dentist requested X-rays to look at some baby teeth. When I called in to make the appointment, I clearly stated why we were coming in (TO GET XRAYS FOR A 15 MONTH OLD!) and was told that this office could help. Once I got back into the room, I was then told tht they don't have any kind of equipment to do X-rays on children under the age of 4. I would have appreciated the transparency before I took off of work and rearranged my schedule. On the plus side, the office seemed very clean and the dentist was nice.

They were patient, informative, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. My child has dental anxiety due to past traumatic experiences, and I was truly impressed by how gently and thoughtfully they walked him through each step of what was going to happen. He felt safe, respected, and comfortable, which made all the difference. They were also able to calmly care for my one-year-old, who was not at all interested in sitting still and just wanted to play—but he took to them so well. They made sure my daughter felt heard, seen, and special, even though she doesn’t require as much during her appointments. I have three kids, all with different needs, and they handled each of them beautifully—answering my questions, calming my concerns, and providing truly compassionate care. I’m beyond grateful for the experience we had and highly recommend this office

Fantastic experience: Took my 20 month old son who is an extremely hyperactive toddler. I was nervous about the entire process since this was his first time at the dentist. They have a play area in the main waiting area, and another in the back when you wait for the dentist to keep them occupied. The dentist was excellent, as well as all the other employees. They made the experience for both myself and my son fantastic.

Fantastic experience: This is by the best dentist ever. We came from a different dental office with all 5 of my kids. The other office became ghetto, forgetting appointments, canceling appointments and flat out pissing me off. Now this office is amazing. They are very nice, it’s clean, they have patience with the kids, and pay attention to detail. I even got my daughter’s appointment time mixed up and we came a week early on accident, and guess what. They still saw her. Staff is super friendly and made my daughter who hates the dentist actually calm down. If your are looking for a new dentist come here. They also do everything in house

I never have to wait more then 5 mins to be called in the back and once back there, they have a play area thats perfect for your children to play as their sibling gets taken care of. However, one of the ladies at the front desk had to be reminded of the importance of welcoming new customers and practicing professionalism. Yet, the dentist was very professional, informative and knowledgeable. Dental assistant could use a bit more training on customer orientation and ensuring smooth transitions from exam room to exam room. Good experience overall. 4 Stars ⭐️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Motwaly is an amazing Dentist and I am so grateful to have found her. Last one year back I, was suffering from tooth (wisdom tooth) decay and she really took care of me and explained the course of treatment. I, was dismissed by several other doctors and she took me seriously and finally took care of my tooth. Also I keep coming here regularly (once a year) for deep cleaning and the way they take care of me is highly professional. Additionally her front desk staff maintains a high level of efficiency and I felt confident and well taken care in all my visits. At the end of the day I trust her completely and am grateful to have found her and highly recommend Dr. Motwaly (Amazing Smiles).

Negative experience: Usually enjoy this place but today was not a good experience. My 2 year old needed his mouth checked due to an injury and they had us waiting a good 25-35 minutes in a chair before he decided he was done waiting and in meltdown mode. He would have been fine had we still been in the waiting room. Just bothered because now i will have to take him somewhere else to get his mouth checked out when it should of been a quick process…

Fantastic experience: Dr. Motwaly is INCREDIBLE. She was excellent with our 2 year at his first visit to get him accustomed to the dentist. She is amazing with kids and you can tell she is very passionate about what she does. Our son will be going here indefinitely!!!
