Fantastic experience: Getting cavities filled, getting root canals, or even getting teeth pulled are not the most stressful things I face when going to the dentist. But rather, the most stressful thing for me, as a blind person with severe hearing loss, is anticipating how the staff will respond to me with these challenges. When I recently visited Pasadena Dental Group to have two teeth extracted, the staff alleviated me of that stress by the positive ways in which they communicated and interacted with me. The office seemed filled with energy and enthusiasm. Dr. Garrett did a fantastic job extracting two of my teeth. He described to me what was happening throughout the procedure and seemed to aim his voice at my right ear so I could hear him better. I would highly recommend Pasadena Dental Group to anyone needing dental work.

Fantastic experience: I want to share the amazing experience I had at Pasadena Dental Group on August 15, 2026. I was experiencing severe pain after having a root canal procedure done by another endodontic specialist. I was in so much pain that I called Pasadena Dental Group, and to my amazement, I had the opportunity to speak directly with the dentist over the phone. They were able to see me, and I ultimately needed an extraction. From the moment I arrived, the dentist was professional, kind, compassionate, and respectful. The entire office environment was warm, welcoming, and friendly. The staff were happy, caring, and made me feel comfortable during a very difficult and painful experience. For anyone who feels nervous or afraid of going to the dentist, I highly recommend checking out Pasadena Dental Group. They truly made a stressful situation much easier for me. I have decided to change my dental office and will be returning to Pasadena Dental Group for all of my dental care, both now and in the future. Fantastic experience: Always excellent care at PDG. This visit was a non-emergency situation and I was delighted to find that Dr. Garrett was able to see me within an hour. The time "in the chair" was less than 30 minutes and still the service (reattaching a crown) was detailed, professional, and complete.

Dr. Sapienza is a young but extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable dentist. Make your appointment, you will not be disappointed. I'm usually afraid of dentists but so far it has been an excellent experience.

Fantastic experience: I had the most delightful visit this week at the Pasadena Dental Group (Dr. Gene Garrett's office). I know that might sound pretentious about a visit to the dentist, but here's why: 1) I did not wait more than 5 minutes before being called back for my cleaning, 2) The hygienist, Amanda, was thorough, friendly, and professional (we even had a few laughs!), 3) Alex did the final check in a timely manner and was personable with some helpful advice and 4) Making the next appointment and checking out was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I needed multiple crowns and Dr. Sapienza was incredibly meticulous.The endodonist who did my root canal was not sure my tooth could be saved. Dr Sapienza was able to save the tooth and complete crowns and a bridge, which fits perfectly. The assistant checked on me constantly, and the personalized attention made the entire procedure painless and stress-free. Thank you goes out to Dr Sapienza and his team!

Fantastic experience: Each time I visit Pasadena Dental Group I have had Dr. Alex. I am 70 years old and have had many dentists in my time. Dr. Alex puts me at ease instantly. He is very friendly and thorough with what needs to be done. Carefully explaining different ways to approach what needs to take place giving me time to think about it as well. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Garrett for a very long time and I’m always pleased with the way I am treated there. As much as I am afraid to go to the dentist, this is the only place that I’ve ever been able to go that I was not afraid. I never have to worry about pain because Dr Garrett makes sure I never fell anything. Additionally, Dr Garrett has always worked with me to make sure I could afford the dental services I needed. I don't know why but for some reason I changed and then my daughter referred me back to them and I am glad. The staff was very nice and my hygienist was great and easy on my teeth while cleaning. Fantastic experience: There are lots of Dentist offices in Pasadena, but none quite like Pasadena Dental Group on Edwin Raynor Boulevard! This is the most welcoming, friendly yet truly professional Dental Practice I've ever been to! From the Receptionists to the Assistants and Hygienists, they all make going to see the Dentist a pleasant experience. Dr. Garrett is a caring, kind and most excellent Dentist and person, as are the other Dentists at PDG. I highly recommend this Practice where my husband and I have been patients for over 20 years now.

Fantastic experience: Hello Community readers! This review may be a little lengthy, but the important part is the first and last of this review. We don't give tips to HCP, so I feel a review is a healthy component to give recognition for a job well done. Dr. Alex has won my trust in the care of my teeth with his craft of dentristry. I had to have two crowns on the second molars ( the ones all the way in the back). I am not one that is horribly anxious about needles, as this is necessary for the procedure, but I can say, that part of the process was well managed and eased any fear I had of experiencing break through pain. I am very particular about my teeth. I had worry that my bite would never feel the same or that I would have that tangible presence of a foreign object in my teeth. Dr Alex addressed my concerns and misconceptions that I openly discussed with him, giving me optimism in his capabilities to do a superb service to my expectations. He fine tuned those crowns to feel as my bite did before. I am 4 days out from having my second crown done and I couldn't be any more impressed with the outcome. Thank you Dr. Alex! Thank you Emily and Cris, you were great at explaining the tasks you perform in preparing me for Dr. Alex. The reception is welcoming (thank you Chelsea) and the appointment times are accurate enough that you don't suffer long waiting periods. The environment is clean and modern. I would highly recommend Pasadena Dental Group for dental care. Keep up the good work and service you provide for a healthy happy smile

Fantastic experience: I am in MD for a brief visit and recently lost a crown on the upper left along with a large surface filling on the upper right. Both of these areas were visible when conversing and I was extremely reluctant to smile until good fortune led me to the Pasadena Dental Group with hopes that the crown could be re-affixed. Dr. Alex was more than gracious in regard to a new patient emergency. I was seen within the hour and after X-rays was shown how badly the composite inside of the crown had diminished. However, all was not lost and Dr. Alex (the Picasso of dentistry) used his expertise and artistry to fashion and set an entire tooth from composite that looks fantastic, as does the filling replacement at minimal cost in lieu of finances. Moreover, the staff is exemplar, very kind, compassionate and through personal experience I can say that all of the employees are highly invested in their field. Fantastic experience: I usually do not do reviews but I love Pasadena Dental Group so much. They run how a doctors office should, on time and on schedule. Dr Garrett has been my dentist for over 20 years and he knows how to make things not hurt even root canals. My hygienist today was the most caring person she took the time to wipe some spilled cement off my face and chin. That may not seem like much but she did not have to do that and it makes me feel like they actually care about me.
