Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly service from my hygienist and Dr. Baustian.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Bostian Dental. I came for treatment for a complex issue after several years without dental care and a recent bad experience at a different practice. Dr. Bostian explained everything clearly and thoroughly and has been very supportive in coordinating the care I will need from other providers. I feel confident that I'm in excellent hands and I would highly recommend Bostian Dental, especially for people like me who have apprehension around dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bostian and his entire staff really have the patient’s interest at heart and work hard to provide relaxing, easy going, top notch service. Whether it is the careful review and teeth cleaning done by Karen or Kelly, the mapping by Olivia, the general office and insurance work by Lisa or Dr. Bostian’s screening and dental work, everyone is engaging, kind and extremely helpful. You really cannot go wrong utilizing their services. I, also, add that I have seen them go out of their way to comfort and help patients who have a difficult time with dental procedures. My whole family feels lucky to have found and become Dr. Bostian’s patients. Not that you are going to spend much time waiting but, when you go don’t fail to notice the artwork (original Peter Max and high end black and white photographs). There is definitely a reason Matthew Bostian is Chapel Hill’s favorite for General Denistry.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bostian is simply the best. I am a retired dental hygienist so I know. He is not only highly skilled clinically and backed up by the latest technology, he is also a great communicator. On top of all that, he is one of the best to administer local anesthetic. The last time I didn't know I'd had a shot until I started feeling numb. AND, he has a top staff - kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Thank you, Dr. Bostian and staff.

Everyone was extremely professional and the protective measures taken for clean air and disinfection were obvious. As always, the level of care was awesome. Great team of welcoming faces that know me and care about me first-then my general and oral health. So nice to see the same familiar faces- and it is nice to see that no one is in such a rush. They actually listen to me. I appreciate that here is always time to talk and have questions answered. If you have been here you know it's great, if you haven't then you should come see these folks.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bostian and his staff are awesome! They work together as a team and give their patients superior treatment of care. My husband and I have been coming to his office for about 4 years. His bed side manner, professionalism and knowledge of dentistry is phenomenal!! Two years ago I had bitten down on something two days before Thanksgiving and broke my lower jaw tooth, as well as lost the filling from it from many years ago. We had family coming in from out of town the next day and I panicked cause the dental office was closed. I left a phone message at Dr. Bostian's office and he came into the office after hours and fixed the tooth, filled the area and smoothed the tooth down for my bite. He and his assistant completed the restoration of the tooth. He is so gentle when numbing the area for any work and mindful of any pain to not cause you any discomfort. A more recent visit to Dr. Bostian was this morning, after calling his office yesterday, Lisa was able to work me in for an early appointment this morning. My bite seemed off since my braces had been removed and I was biting into my jaw when eating or talking. It was painful and felt swollen. He looked at my teeth and jaw, after a thorough examination, and he quickly saw the problem by fixing it and smoothing out the tooth that was causing me to bite into my jaw. It was amazing how quickly he resolved the issue without numbing the area. No discomfort whatsoever. Five stars, nope, more like 15 stars should be given for him and his team!! My husband and I highly recommend the care and thoroughness of Dr. Bostian and his great team!!!

Fantastic experience: I would like to take the time to give Dr Matthew Bostian and his Staff a 5 Star Review and if they had a 10 Star to give them that I am out of town working when I had a real bad toothache to occur I hurt bad for Four Days I was working at the build that Dr.Bostian practice is located ...101 Conner Drive Chapel Hill NC I seen his office and walked in and ask if they could see me that I had a tooth hurting me very bad and that I was working out of town and I didn't have no Dental insurance I was amazed to see Everyone was willing and egar to help me and I had an appointment to see the doctor is less than two hours from the time I walked into there office They gave me an exam and X-rays and had my tooth fixed is less than an hour After my tooth was fixed gave me advise to help with any pain that might occur once I left there office and told me if I needed anymore help to give them a call When I went to pay I was surprised with the amount due Was extremely reasonable priced One hour after I left Dr.Bostians office I had little to no pain There is not enough thanks I can say for the help that Dr.Bostian and his staff gave me at a time that I needed help the most To Dr.Matthew Bostian and Staff The Service and Dedication to your patients needs was far above anything I was expecting Thank you all very much Sincerely Russell Queen

Karen makes sure my teeth and gums are sparkling clean. If dental hygiene was an Olympic sport, Karen would win the gold! Dr. Bostian restored some teeth that were significantly damaged. He took great care to insure crowns are a good fit and look good. I smile with confidence now, which was a goal when I found this practice. I feel fortunate to be a dental patient here. The staff here is pleasant, welcoming and engaging.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my second cleaning & exam with Dr Bostian’s office since moving to Chapel Hill. I very much appreciate Dr Bostian & his staff. Exams & cleanings have been thorough & comfortable. I leave their office feeling like I have a good understanding of what’s being watched & what the fixes are. That’s good since I like to plan ahead a bit. (I haven’t needed any big work done yet, but I have come to town with some aging crowns & fillings that I want to last as long as they can do their job but retire before they fail.) Also, both times I received one new & very manageable hint on increasing the effectiveness of the products I use for oral hygiene.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bostion is awesome. And the whole team there is fantastic. Karen is a hygienist par none and Lisa is the heart and soul of that place. Appointments are always on time, Dr. B always explains everything and has a stellar bedside manner (despite having two under three at home - not sure when he sleeps), and insurance is filed efficiently (and issues quickly fixed). Seriously, I actually look forward to going to the dentist….

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with this office! I had a hard time finding it and called to get some directions. They were kind and patient and assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem that I was a few minutes late. This was the most gentle dental care I’ve ever received. They took their time and weren’t in a rush. They were sensitive to any soreness and sincerely compassionate about the toothache that brought me in to begin with. They offered a blanket to keep me warm while they worked and made genuine conversation when they weren’t actively working on my teeth. I would highly recommend this dental office! Fantastic experience: I was sharing, Dr. Bostian's website during a meeting, and I didn't see my review. So here it is again.... My amazing sleep apnea dentist, Dr. Daniela Vivaldi recommended Dr. Bostian before molding my mouth appliance device. The return call & appointment process was quick & explained throughly. The staff was very inviting and did their part flawlessly. I liked how Dr. Bostian took his time to explain what he saw during the exam and the pros and cons of all my options. Plus, he offered to contact other specialists. But the best thing was that he didn't "sell me the stars & moon." Instead, he saved me thousands of dollars & months of unessary pain. Oh, he had a great savings plan, too! Trust me, It's worth the hour drive!

Fantastic experience: I recently went to DDS Bostian at Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for the first time as we recently moved to the area and needed to establish a relationship with a local dentist. I had an exam and cleaning, the cleaning was very thorough and the hygienist took her time to make sure I was in good shape. DDS Bostian had a great chairside manner and was also very thorough in examining my current situation and addressed my concerns. He also provided insight into how I would progress with my current state. He was very informative and knowledgeable. I think we found our local dentist.

BTW: I drive 175 miles one way just to come to this practice in Chapel Hill, NC and although it's a long haul I believe excellent medical care, peace of mind, and a painless experience is worth the trip. Fantastic experience: My daughter referred me to Dr. Bostian. I don’t like dental appointments, at all. So far, my visits to the office have been pleasant. One weekend, I had a crown that cracked. It was put in by another dentist, in another state. I called Dr. Bostian terrified that I would be in pain. He told me what to do, since I was not in pain. Monday AM, I got a call in the 8:00 hour to schedule an appointment for that day. I still don’t like going, but I have to. They’re very accommodating and I appreciate them all.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice since 2012 (though the retirement of three dentists). The hygienist, Karen has been on staff from the beginning of my time there and does a fantastic and thorough job. Dr. Bostian has been a great fit in taking over the reins from the Sockwells. He is knowledgeable and caring. I look forward to bringing my 2 year old daughter next year for her first ever visit, because I know they will do an excellent job with her.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist, I have a bit of a complex about it... that said... this place is a gem! Great atmosphere (music & esthetic) EVERYONE is sooo nice , nay sweet even! EVERYONE from the desk clerk, to the assistant, EVEN the Dentist (Dr.Bostian) were so welcoming and warm. They really heard me, real conversation, didn't talk down to me AND didn't talk over my head (a difficult balance), constantly were vigilant of my well-being, physically and emotionally. If you've been avoiding the chair; from cruelty you've been forced to endure... this place is for you! I walked out happy, Healthy, and satisfied with not only great care-service but a comprehension of what future steps i could take to maintain my health. These people deserve a chance! Fantastic experience: Dr Matt Bostian is very personable and professional. He clearly knows what he’s doing. although I miss Sid and Marcella, Matt was a good choice to replace them. I’m having a new mouth guard made ( I think it’s called something else now) and Matt has a new slick scanner that replaces making wax molds for the pattern. I sure hope it works. I would certainly recommend him if you’re looking for a new dentist.
