Fantastic experience: My first appointment here was very helpful, the staff and Dr. Wilkins were very nice.

Negative experience: Xrays were fine, filling was fine. For my cleaning, they charged me for a deeper clean, then the hygienist only took about 15 minutes with me (did not see the doctor after) and was promptly shooed out the door to pay my bill. I got home to find visible plaque on my teeth. Then 2 weeks later, I was notified that the bill I already paid was not sufficient and was immediately spam called, texted and emailed about it being overdue. Unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: I love that they scheduled a same day appointment for me. The dentist actually pointed to the x-ray to show me exactly what was going on with my enamel and what was causing my sensitivity. He was very knowledgeable and reasonable. He gave me some solutions for my at home routine and told me to try that first before trying any procedures. Not money hungry. He and the RDA both had great bedside manners.

Fantastic experience: My wife got three feelings yesterday by Dr Wilkins. She was very dramatic before the dentist appointment even if she claims she was not a shrinking violet. Could be a side effects of topical Orajel. Anyways, I am happy to report that all went exceptionally well, no complaints so far and this is golden. Taking this opportunity I would like to thank the staff and the Doctor for this belated Christmas miracle.

Negative experience: Do not go here!! My partials broke and they said they wouldn't fix them because I need to pay a balance in full. They should fix them anyway. I do not recommend this place

Negative experience: Referred me out for a root canal with an extremely expensive specialist. Got a second opinion and only needed a filling. They also missed 3 cavities in my mouth, and sent me a bill for an appointment I was told would be free 2 weeks after the appointment. Additionally, my first time in, I was sat waiting in the chair for a cleaning for almost an hour. I kept being told they would "get to me soon" and they never got to me because I had to leave.

Fantastic experience: It was ok . Went in for a filling. They need to upgrade the light n blood pressure devices. The big light didn’t work n the BP devices are not accurate. All was good though.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Abbeville Dentistry is awesome! They make you feel welcome and take their time to assess the problem and give detailed options to consider. The 360 Dental plan is wonderful for anyone who doesn't have insurance. Dr. Wilkins is a remarkable dentist! He has tirelessly, worked on my mother's dentures until they were a perfect fit! They have also helped me get my teeth back in shape where other dentists have failed. Thank you Abbeville!

Positive experience: The front office staff is always friendly — very, very nice. The DA’s— the same, however, this time I went back with the hygienist, she seemed like she was in a hurry to get me out of there. Maybe a little judgy. Just handed me my bag when we were done with no instructions, really, just said we’re done and they’ll take care of you up front. The last hygienist(Grace) kinda talked while she was doing her thing and spoke to me like I was a person, giving me tips, things that would benefit my oral health. This one was just trying to get done — or so that was my feeling, anyways.

Negative experience: I had a fantastic experience here and I’m leaving two stars, because of price. I was so confused when they gave me prices for everything. I thought this was just inflation. But then I called another dentists with an equally as good reputation - 1/3 the price for cleaning, 1/10 the price for a consultation and X-rays. I am going to save THOUSANDS of dollars by going to another dentist that’s not Abbeville. Charging more than $150 for a first patient visit plus cleaning is insane. They charged me almost $600 for first visit - NO CLEANING Update: Coming back 6 months later. I reached out just like they recommended down below. They dodged my calls, they never responded to emails, and they sent me to collections for services we didn’t even receive. This is insane and unprofessional. I will recommend to EVERYONE to avoid these scammers. Avoid them at all costs.

The higienist looked at my spechall needs doughter Who by the way is 19 years old and referd us to another office after compleeting an hour of xray and evaluations then waiting on The hygintest to clean her teeth now mind you my 19 years old has gotten her teeth clend every year all here life at regular dentist office and she looks forward to it so now we have to take off work for another opointment this is completey stoopid

Negative experience: If I could give it 0 stars I would. The last 2 times I went I specifically scheduled for an exam and cleaning, both verified on the phone with the scheduling person. I only received an exam and X-rays, no cleaning. This most recent visit i spent over an hour just to receive 7 X-rays and a quick exam by the Dr. I asked why I didn’t get a cleaning and they said I was only scheduled for an exam and X-rays, that I would need to come back another day. Both of the ladies I spoke to didn’t seem to care about my request to get a cleaning and kept insisting that I come the next day. I don’t have all the time in the world to come in whenever this office pleases. I keep a very clean mouth and only need regular cleanings, not full mouth debridements. I’ve worked in the dental industry for over 7 years and I have never heard of a patient having to come back for a regular cleaning, when that’s what was scheduled. This is ridiculous. This place needs to be transparent with their patients from the initial call. Never going back and will certainly not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Abbeville for nearly 15 years. They have a great staff of dentists, technicians and office people. They have done very well on all of the work that I have had done (crowns, cavities and a bridge).

Positive experience: Front desk was awesome! Cleaning was awesome! The X-rays seemed incomplete, I questioned it but was told that’s all this time. The Dentist was fine, I had no issues just in for my cleaning and check up. The fluoride treatment was terrible! She didn’t apply it to all of teeth at the gum line. Most of the bottom was skipped but she put it all over my lips. I’ll be more proactive next time.

Negative experience: I made appt for one tooth extraction. I told them my dentist was out of town, my tooth broke over the weekend so I just needed it pulled. First set of x-rays was of the wrong tooth, however, they used it to diagnose a different tooth and charged me for that. They also came back stating they needed another xray, diagnosed yet another tooth and charged for that. I made it very clear I was there for the one tooth. No one told me of diagnostic charge of 252 dollars, it was not listed on financial documents shown to me. I called and spoke to billing department and was told, you can't just come in and tell them you want one tooth pulled and them just do that. As I tried to explain charge for diagnosing other teeth I didn't ask for she began laughing so at that point I informed her I wouldn't be back and they would not get a good review from me. Her response was, "that's ok". So, went in for one tooth and got billed a total of 634 dollars and I was told it's OK because my insurance paid for it. That's not OK! Plus, I'm pretty sure there are pieces of tooth left in. I have sharp pieces sticking through my gums and they hurt!

Positive experience: The staff all around are very nice and patient. Visits are very reasonable considering the procedure being done (full mouth extraction and dentures). However, when getting the extractions done, I wasn't fully sedated, as a felt alot of pain and pressure as the doctor pushed on my teeth to get them loose. I even pushed back due to the amount of pressure and pain. And now, 1.5 weeks after surgery, I still can't wear my dentures. Bottom gums are covered in blisters and my top denture, when I put it in, I gag and it falls out. Maybe this is part of the healing process, I don't know but I'm tired of eating soups and looking like a freak in public. Not to mention talking! This is in no way to bash the company, but this is my experience thus far.

Fantastic experience: They did an excellent job of getting my teeth cleaned, and boy I really needed a good cleaning. Very informative, when I got my deep cleaning they made sure I didn't feel a thing. I was really grateful for that. Just visited for my 3 month cleaning all was well and it was a short visit. I'm very happy with their service. Hanna did a wonderful job!

Fantastic experience: This went very well!! I had to remove a wisdom tooth and the one in front of it. Dr R Son was very efficient. Took her about 10 to 15 mins to get both teeth! I would highly recommend. Everyone was very polite. The young lady assisting was awesome as well!

Negative experience: Service is good, got wisdom teeth out. 2 out last week, 2 this week. However, they’re prescription filling system is horrible. Had me running in circles to get my prescription, making me originally think it was an issue with Walgreens last week. However, this week, I had changed it to CVS - confirmed with the front office and the dental assistant - however, nothing was sent. I called the CVS 1 hour after the dentist sent the Rx, then 3 hours. CVS said they had nothing. Called CVS the next day, they didn’t have it. Called Abbeville and they were on lunch break so couldn’t help me for 2 hours. Someone called back after their break and let me know it was sent to walgreens next to their clinic for some reason. When I went there, walgreens said they didnt have it! Had to go back to the dentist to figure this out, where one of the front desk ladies said she messed up, she told me the wrong pharmacy - it was a different walgreens. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating (especially when I confirmed my pharmacy with two different people) and was in a lot of pain both nights of my surgery with no meds.

Positive experience: The pros: location was easy to get to, staff was pleasant. The cons: it was not a very efficiently run office. Plan on blocking out 2 hours of your day for a routine cleaning.

Melonie the dentist assistant was great and made me feel very comfortable about my visit. Dentist was awesome and staff was too. Out in a timely manner.

Negative experience: If they are sending bills and expecting to be paid right away then let me assure you that they don't pay their own bills. We came out and did a service that no else in town would do for them because they couldn't find anyone to do it or could do it and of course they were expecting an invoice instead of paying for the service when the service was completed and because I decided to be a nice person I made an invoice and on top of that came out again and fixed something that was done on a separate occasion and again made an invoice.. We reached out and got no response except for "invoices are paid monthly". Now if I call someone out to do a service then I expect that they're going to wanna be paid upon completion. Common sense tells you that they aren't going to do something for you and let you pay them a month later, right? Well these guys seem to have that in their minds. If they had an account it would be different but we're not set up like that. So if they hound you for payments keep in mind that they don't even pay their own bills. This is ridiculous. I would expect that they would be professional and have that courtesy to pay for services rendered.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with Abbeville Dentistry. The location is convenient and the staff is pleasant and competent. There are no long waits, and I am very pleased with all the work that has been done.
