Fantastic experience: My appointment with Eastpoint Endodontics was a very wonderful experience from the moment I walked through the doors. I stepped into a beautiful reception area and was greeted promptly by the receptionist. My wait time was minimal and I was taken quickly back to the procedure area. The staff made me comfortable and were very kind and explained exactly what needed to be done and how the procedure would go. The entire procedure went quickly and was painless. Dr. Smith was awesome and one of the best endodontists I have been to. I would 1000% recommend Eastpoint Endodontics for any root canals needs.

Fantastic experience: These guys were amazing. I had a previously done root canal fail and cause an infection, they got me in the same day and I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I never enjoy going to the dentist but these guys made me feel comfortable and kept me in the loop through the whole process. Great staff and great service.

Fantastic experience: Most pleasant dental experience of my life. Went for a root canal and instead experienced a Tibetan sound bath. I haven't been that relaxed in years. Not sure how they did it but it was a magical experience. I was thinking to myself that I should be bummed out that I wasn't offered any laughing gas, but I felt to good to be upset about anything. If you need a root canal you should probably go here.

He located the bad tooth and performed a root canal on all three roots of the bad tooth. He was thorough, gentle and professional using the latest dental procedures. Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I was referred to Dr. Gavyn Smith by my regular dentist and had a root canal done here... that is what they specialize in. Dr. Smith and his entire staff were super friendly and talked me through everything that was going to happen and explained why it needed to be done. They were very gentle always asking about my level of discomfort. They were so good, I honestly was never in any discomfort! I've had teeth cleanings that were a lot worse! I resumed my full activities as soon as I left the office... no down time at all. I don't want to go here very often... who wants a root canal?! But I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Smith's office if you ever need one... they are excellent!

I’ve found one I’ll stay with forever. I needed 3 last minute retreat root canals before I my final appointment for veneers. Dr. Smith was thorough and great to help get my teeth in good condition. Fantastic experience: I can’t praise this Doctor enough. The smoothest easiest work I’ve ever had done. I had 2 root canals & felt nervous but almost fell asleep during it, it was so smooth from start to finish! I am going to refer him to everyone I know. He explained everything, environment was clean, they take such good care of you. Highly highly recommend him over anyone else in Utah!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gavyn Smith does everything he can to save your teeth. I have had 3 procedures done at Eastpoint. Two of which came from unsuccessful apicoectomys (and likely done incorrectly and haphazardly). It was an uphill battle on those teeth due to past damage, and while I eventually had to get them extracted, Dr. Smith and his team tried everything they could to try to save these teeth. The third one was a smoother more straight forward root canal, but each procedure was done with the utmost care. He was clear on potential solutions, as well with possible complications with my more complex situation. Overall, Dr. Smith is the only endodontist I trust, and I am more than happy to drive nearly an hour each way to see him and his team. They truly care about their patients health, and it shows in the work they do.

Fantastic experience: I had been dealing with pain for over a month and went back and forth to my regular dentist before they decided I needed a root canal. I found Eastpoint Endodontics and was treated by Gavin Smith, DDS. He was FANTASTIC! Very gentle and thorough in my examination. I was very nervous and he was very positive and reassuring. He and his assistant, Janelle were very professional. He was great to explain what he was doing and where we were in the process. Overall, the experience was so much better than my regular dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr. Smith was amazing. I have been in pain every time I've gone to the dentist my whole life. He listened to my concerns and past experiences and worked with me to ensure that I was comfortable going forward with the root canal. I also deal with quite a bit of vertigo which makes dental chairs hard to deal with, I get migraines from the lights shining in my eyes - and I get claustrophobia from the dental dam. But again - he and his staff worked with me to make sure I didn't get vertigo, a migraine or freak out because of the dam. His staff were kind and caring as well and everyone just tried to help me get through the ordeal as best as possible. I highly recommend this business and if I have to get another root canal in the future - this is where I will go again!

Fantastic experience: There is no one I trust to do a root canal other than Eastpoint Endodontics. I had to have four done while I was pregnant with my last baby and they made it some of the best dental work I’ve ever had done. Fantastic experience: If you need work done this is literally your best option. Dr Smith and Kelsey re-did a root canal today that a previous dentist worked on and missed some spots. I have really bad anxiety and they both were so wonderful to check in with me often and talk me through everything they were doing. Dr Smith made sure to show me all the imaging and what they found. They caught the previous dentist mistakes and completed the procedure appropriately. The receptionist was also very kind and the facility was exceptionally clean. I really cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I literally have written maybe 2 reviews of anything in my whole life, but I had such a great experience with Dr. Smith today that I had to shout it out! I had never had a root canal before and I was really anxious about it. I had put it off for a long time because I hadn’t felt like I had done enough research on who would do a good job. I put it off so long that my tooth pain became excruciating. I could barely sleep because my tooth hurt so bad. When I arrived at Eastpoint Endodontics I was in a LOT of pain and so scared that it would hurt worse when I left. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Dr. Smith explained every detail of the process to me. He was confident and put my mind at ease. He was thorough and efficient and careful. I left there so happy and felt 1 million times better!! They set me an appointment a few days out which I was willing to wait for good service since these are the only teeth I want for the rest of my life. I needed to have an 18 year old root canal redone. He explained the work he needed to do and eased my mind about the procedure. As an added bonus, his staff was also friendly and inviting.

The endodontist was so rude when I had a full blown panic attack mid procedure, so I left. Dr. Smith was the complete opposite. He's so calm and understanding. Fantastic experience: Fantastic staff and Doctor. I had a root canal when I was younger that had not been a good experience but I felt comfortable and taken care of my entire appointment here. Dr. Smith is very kind and always talks directly to you. He walked me through the entire procedure before, during, and after to ensure I always knew exactly what was going on, even explaining the x-rays and what they meant. He was very good at noticing when anything might have been uncomfortable or difficult, like swallowing, and instantly checked in and would fix it. And the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend their center!

Fantastic experience: I’m a senior who has had a relatively easy go with dental issues for most of my life so I was terrified when I learned that I would be needing my first root canal on a back molar. I had an old silver filling and the tooth under was cracked so I suffered a lot of gradual pain for months before I was at my wits end. I just want to say that the old horror stories about root canals did not help with my anxiety. Dr Smith and his staff were amazing! I still can’t believe how much easier this was than I ever could have imagined. They were so accommodating and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Once I calmed down and was numbed up the hardest part was keeping my small jaw open but they had a bumper bite thing to help with that too. Just had the root canal yesterday and today I’m almost back to normal. My gum is only slightly sore around that tooth but that’s it. Dr Smith and his staff really are the BEST! Please don’t be as frightened as I was before coming in because it is not necessary. YOU will be in the best of hands. I cannot thank them enough.

My daughter has special needs, and I always worry about how she will do under stressful circumstances. Dr Smith is amazing at explaining what he is doing at all points in the process. He truly showed her that he cared for her comfort throughout the visit! And Kelcie was absolutely amazing with her! She made Leah feel so comfortable the whole time. You can tell that she loves what she does, and she is very good at it! Melissa is fabulous as well! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EAST POINT FOR ANY ENDODONTIC BODIED M VISIT. Fantastic experience: I went in for a root canal after some awful pain following another procedure at different dental office. Doctor Smith did a great job on my tooth. It has now been about 3 weeks and my tooth has had no problems. Great office.

Fantastic experience: This place is THE place to get a root canal. Root canals are terrible, but Dr. Smith made it so comfortable. Every 5 or so minutes he gave me an update on what he was doing and how much longer it would take. The assistant was very careful to make me feel comfortable the whole time. If you have to suffer through a root canal, these guys will make it bearable.

Fantastic experience: Gavyn uses superior technology and has better than average skills according to my dentist. He’s done two root canals for me now, one of which was performed on a baby molar, which is rather difficult to achieve. Great follow-up after the treatment also.

He talked me through everything and explained it all very well. His Staff was amazing to work and they got me in quickly, the front desk gals were quick at getting my insurance figured out before I came in. Fantastic experience: Just had my first root canal and it was so, so, so much easier than I thought it would be. Dr. Smith and his staff did a great job and the entire procedure was relatively painless. I am such a chicken when going to the dentist. I was very nervous about this and nearly had to be talked into sitting down in the chair, but Dr. Smith explained everything and even getting the initial shoots were not that bad. My son had to have a root canal and said it was the best dentist procedure he's ever had done. On top of that I had some questions about billing and the lady at the front desk was so patient with me and made sure everything looked right to me before I paid. Definitely recommend.
