Positive experience: The reviews are fishy. People who come here either have a 5 star, no complaint, glowing review or a 1 star terrible experience. Further research shows that many of the 5 star reviews are from people who have only left 1 review and even more have less than 10 reviews to their name. I'm leaving a review because when I have called Aspen 3 times in the past, the person answering the phone was indifferent and didn't seem like they really enjoyed their job. Maybe they could be taught to at least pretend that they care. During my last visit there a few years ago the "meet with the care coordinator person" who's only option or idea to pay for the huge amount of work you need to have done even when others dentists said those procedures did not need to be done seems to be...apply for Care Credit. All one has to do is check the reviews for Care Credit/Synchrony readily available to anyone with a phone or computer and you will see why they are not a wise choice and have numerous complaints and lawsuits against them. On top of that I have a friend who applied for a Care credit account with a credit score of 768 across the board and was offered a measly $3,00 line of credit at almost 29% interest. My advice? Find a dental provider who isn't part of a chain where the biggest concern is profit and who doesn't have to answer to shareholders.

Negative experience: Dentist hygienist was cool it was Finance part horrible even with insurance they made 12k sound like not nothing at all then wanted to have me take a loan out with a 35.55% APR they are crazy, called office to try and get my records forwarded to another office no one answered and whole time I was there nothing but chit chat was going on so not sure why they couldn't pick up the phone. Oh yeah and chick who did my x rays was good other than that go at your own accord

Negative experience: Never understood the part of walk-ins and yet they can’t see a patient because their day was fully booked. Why do they advertise walk-ins. I was giving these big chains a chance but failed.

Walk-ins are welcome, however an offices ability to accept walk-ins does depend on the number of staff, patients and procedures they have on a given day. Fantastic experience: I was there a few days ago to get a tooth pulled. I feel like my opinion was heard and they listened to me when I felt any pain. (It’s hard to get my mouth numb!) I can’t thank them enough. I don’t have dental insurance and they were honestly one of the best options financially! Don’t even get me STARTED on their level of customer service! 10/10! Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the staff, everyone is so friendly. More importantly they work quickly to form a plan to get you were you need to be. I'll be honest I've out off going to the dentist for quite sometime, but they've made me feel so comfortable that it doesn't terrify me anymore. Negative experience: I took off work for my appointment, only to find out it was rescheduled without my knowledge. I was told it was because I didn’t answer my phone, which I explained was due to being at work. I had already confirmed the appointment online, and no one ever stated that answering a phone call was required to keep it. Then I was told there was a “scheduling conflict,” so which was it — a conflict or because I didn’t answer the phone? Either way, it’s extremely disappointing and unprofessional to reschedule a patient who took time off work without proper notice. I have excellent dental insurance and expect a higher level of professionalism. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to the area last year. We used Aspen Dental where we came from so we looked for a location here. After two visits, I can say that the folks at this location do an awesome job. Abby did a great job with my cleaning. I had to have a crown replaced. This was the first time ever that I’ve had dental work done and was dead enough that nothing was felt at all through the whole process. Dr. Terrell did a phenomenal job in making sure I was comfortable and I couldn’t feel anything. And the crown removal was quick and stress free. I go back in a few days to get the permanent put on. I would definitely recommend going here for your dental needs.

Negative experience: PLEASE SAVE YOUR MOUTH AND YOUR WALLET BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. THEY WILL LET YOU COME IN EXPLAIN WHAT YOU NEED DONE. TELL YOU ALL THESE OTHER THINGS, good lip service!!! All to get you to sign up to pay THOUSANDS of dollars for their Mediocre thrown together work. The assistants are not skilled enough or is the doctor. My teeth were over shaved, I complained of pain multiple times no one cared, they just threw a bridge in my mouth that didn’t even last two days. Took over a month to get permanent bridge I didn’t ask for temporary fell out a million times and I had to come into get it fixed more than 3 times. I have a thread about this else where and SEVERAL others have confirmed they’ve had the WORST experience with aspen, specifically THIS LOCATION. do not I mean DO NOT sign anything, or sign up to pay thousands of dollars if you are not satisfied or if they don’t give you the service you asked for. They will upsell and convince you to get all this other stuff when you only came for a simple extraction or cleaning. Do not trust this company or spend your money here. Thank you. PLEASE LISTEN!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and it was an excellent experience! My dental assistant, Shelby, took the time to explain every step and every tool. She was really sweet and seems excited to learn more about dental technology as it advances. Rebecca was my hygienist and she went over affordable options with me for at-home maintenance. She was gentle and asked questions about my routine rather than assume. Lauren is the practice manager and she took the time to look into my insurance information that was originally entered wrong from someone else. She was very empathetic and understood I did not want to pay the out-of-pocket price that I was quoted. She looked into it and found the problem and came up with a solution. I can’t wait to return for my basic cleaning and to be a client of this location. Thanks for the great service!!

Abby literally held my hand through my extractions bc I was anxious. Tiffany made the process affordable to me & Dr. Terrel was quick & kind. Great experience. Fantastic experience: My name is Barbara Ballard, I had and appointment yesterday 11/24/2025 for an adjustment of my permanent top and bottom Dentures, l have had a few adjustment before but they didn't feel good, my Gums still hurt when l put them in my mouth, l got my Permanent Denters months ago and have not been able to use them at all because of the pain, on my Gums, and l have been very disappointed, Alexis was the dental assistant that did my adjustment yesterday and I was very pleased and satisfied with how she performed, she was so very Pleasant, Patient, Caring, and very Professional, l mention to her that l was going to try this adjustment when l eat food, to see how they felt, she told me that that was a good idea, and if I had any more problems to feel free to come back, and l ask her if it was ok for me to request her if l have to make another appointment to make sure she was working that day, because l felt like she could fix anymore problems I would have, and she said yes, when people do a good job they should be complimented and told so, that way they will continue to do a good job, So thank you Alexis for a Job well done.

Fantastic experience: Anyone looking for a dentist I would definitely recommend you go see Dr. Terrell at Aspen Dental. He was very kind, made sure I was ok during my multiple extractions & explained everything to me as he worked. His assistant as well as the whole staff were all professional & made sure I was comfortable. I will be returning for the rest of the work I need done as well as anything I may need in the future. A huge THANK YOU AGAIN to everyone at Aspen Dental in Chattanooga, TN. You guys rock!!!

Fantastic experience: I am very anxious and fearful of dental work of any kind; the smells and the sounds throw me into full panic mode. The entire staff picked up on that and provided the most empathetic, kind care. They did their very best to make sure I was okay and not shutting down with fear. Fantastic experience: Having two very bad experiences with dental groups, I was leery, but HAD to have something done about my teeth. Brittany did an amazing job soothing my nerves from the start. Tiffany fixed a minor insurance issue with no problem! Everyone in the back was great. I shared my fear of dentists and they assured me they would keep me comfortable. And did! Big thanks to Doreen, Lauren, Paige, Shelby and Dr Harning!!! (Sharing this for my daughter. She says her first time to the dentist was good. Everyone was very nice and made sure she knew what they were doing. As a parent that is great to hear.)

Fantastic experience: Good experience! Had a problem with loose tooth and got immediate appointment . The check in went quickly and smoothly. My problem was diagnosed and a plan was implemented that day addressing underlying condition. Also the cost was a lot less than expected and was able to set up a payment plan with no interest. They were very friendly and made me feel comfortable through each step. Thumbs Up!

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience at Aspen Dental (Shallowford Rd). The folks here are always so nice and considerate. They get you in fast and are very thorough. Paige was exceptionally awesome today. She is a great icebreaker to an 8 AM dental appointment. Very nice young lady. I will always recommend Aspen Dental.

Negative experience: I was never notified that the location I normally went to closed. I found out purely by chance, and my appointment had not automatically been moved to the nearest location, so I had to set up another appointment myself. After having Aspen Dental reschedule my appointment twice after that, I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes after my appointment time. When I went to the desk to ask about it they said they didn't know if my hygienist would be ready for me within another 30 minutes. Not overjoyed.

Negative experience: Well since I didn't have the money to finish my.treatment. I haven't heard.back from them on how I may try to finically, finish my treatment. Even no there still taking 618 a month out of my account for teeth I don't have. They don't care. It's all about the money.

Negative experience: No stars!!!!!!! Total waste of time. They don't care about their patient and they will not work with you. They only want you to shell out thousands that you might not have to do it their way. They could've done 1 thing at a time to help me but they wanted it their way. I won't be back. No stars, especially to the sassy finance person that thought she was better than me and tried to tell me that she couldn't find my insurance. I felt like she accused me of lying.

Positive experience: Went to them for pain in a tooth, they did all the x-rays and then proceeded to tell me I need this or that..I didn't come to you for this or that I came for some pain relief and left basically feeling ignored but they want my money

Negative experience: All I needed was a filling replaced, but it was going to cost me out of pocket $6093. That’s a bunch of crap. The girl doing the x-rays was really nice, the hygienist was really nice, even the Dentist was nice, but the girl that came up with my dental plan was a:-/;$&&! I had to walk out, first and last time that I’ll ever step to in Aspen Dental.
