Negative experience: Story Time: I started at this Dentist office about 2 years ago with an amazing Dentist & had a great experience each time. Unfortunately when my next appt came she was no longer with the practice, so I was setup with a Dentist named Dr. Myer’s and at my appt and before I had asked about my bottom dentures that were paid for already and no one could explain what happened with them only set the appt for a single tooth that was bothering me I needed to have out. So I came to the appt & sat in the chair waiting to see Dr. Myers to get the tooth pulled as well as info about my dentures. Sadly my first encounter with this Dr Myer’s I felt tension as he was aggravated I wasn’t understanding why I couldn’t just have my insurance refunded for my bottom dentures that I never received but paid for and that I felt if they refunded it the insurance wouldn’t have an issue to be billed again for it. His words were we will have to be billed by the lab but no concern or options to get things clarified. He left the area and at the time a gentleman came by the area I was at with a humbling spirit and asked if I was ok and I said of course if I can get clarity and he said I am sure we can get things worked out. I felt heard & had a little hope. So the lady that brought me to the chair in the beginning was amazing with trying to help me, but she was also trying to find out how to help. She came back and said that if I wanted to have my tooth pulled it would be almost $200 today or I could wait 2 days for it to be approved and I could come back or pay out of my pocket and I said but it should be covered under my insurance. She said Idk this is what we can do today and if I wanted to have my bottom dentures I would now have to pay $900 when I already paid only $600. So I said let me call my insurance and I can come back. So in the parking lot I called my insurance and they said it would be covered and they shouldn’t be charging me a lab fee bc I explained what happened about the dentures that were already paid. So she stayed otp with me on 3 way and I called to get things cleared up but was told the lady was out of the office and she took a reference number from the insurance down to call them back and I was told the dentist would call me back. So it took them a week to call back and I was told they could setup the billing and get back to me. So we setup an appt. I asked to be setup with a different. Dentist and at the time it wasn’t a problem. I explained I didn’t feel comfortable with the one they set me up with and just preferred to have a good experience. I got a call back within maybe 5 minutes that stated the other dentist didn’t feel comfortable taking over my care from the previous Dentist which was Dr Myer’s. Even though they have 2 office these 2 Dentist are the only ones that work at both locations. So I wasn’t given any other option but to go with the Dentist Dr. Myers I didn’t request I was booked with him due to my previous dentist left the practice that I didn’t have any issues with. Now mind you know I didn’t cause a scene while I was there anytime with anyone but I felt like I would have to have someone I didn’t feel cared about my well being during our first encounter let alone to be scheduled for him to remove any of my teeth so I cancelled the appt and said I would go somewhere else. So I decided to do a review since there is limited Drs/options when coming to both facilities that you will be forced to stay or be with a Dr you don’t feel comfortable with or go somewhere else even when you have already paid for the service/services. I explained before all this happened several times about my situation and tried get help. Sad bc you can’t see a different Dr in the same practice.

East Hamilton Dental brought me back to where I should be. They were wonderful and I'll be back regularly. Thanks y'all!

Fantastic experience: East Hamilton Dental is awesome! The office staff, dental assistants, dental hygienist… everyone is so kind and sweet! I see Dr. Perry and he is amazing! I have always had extreme anxiety going to the dentist, but not with Dr. Perry. He does great work and what I’ve had done so far is exceptional! I highly recommend this dental office!

Fantastic experience: This is from a year or two ago. Maybe I didn’t post it after I wrote it? Professional and friendly staff, enjoyable waiting room with the cleanest fish tank I’ve ever seen. My hygienist was thorough and gentle. So glad to meet Dr. Jones and have her input on some of my problem teeth. I also had a good visit this week. Friendly hygienist. I don’t plan to get fluoride ever again though… I had no idea that it would be slathered on my teeth and on my lips, feeling, looking and tasting terrible for hours.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office. Everyone is nice and has a great sense of humor which is nice for people like me who get nervous at the dentist.

They scheduled the filling to coincide with my cleaning. I truly appreciate not having to go twice to have this done. They truly value your time and make your dental experience as simple as possible. Fantastic experience: Had to change from the dentist I was going to due to insurance issues. This was my first visit to East Hamilton. Dr. Perry was recommended to me. He’s seems to be very good dentist and proactive in treatment. I will be making this my dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have used Dr. Perry for years. He’s great and makes you feel at ease. He’s gentle with shots and super friendly as well. The hygienist was thorough and gentle and super friendly as well! Most people hate going to the dentist (I don’t care for it) but the people here are great and it makes the whole dental experience a positive experience instead of a negative, even when you have dental work done.

Negative experience: Showed up for my appointment presented my insurance card and was told they would not accept. I checked and it shows East Hamilton Dental dentist in the Aflac network. Had to cancel my appointment. Guess I will have to find another dentist after 30+ years with Doctors Perry and Myers.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr Perry! He has been my dentist for over 20 years. He is very professional, kind, funny and makes me very comfortable. The staff is amazing and the office very up to date in the services they offer. My visits are always very pleasant experiences.

Fantastic experience: The staff was professional, engaging and kind. I was greeted right when I walked in the door, tactfully and kindly asked the COVID questions. Taylor, my hygienist, took me back, got me situated and made sure I was comfortable before asking what I needed. Taylor took X-rays after explaining the process and making sure I understood what we were doing. Dr Myers came in soon after and explained the plan for my damaged tooth...great folks, great experience!!! I’ll be back for sure...

Fantastic experience: East Hamilton Dental is a great dental practice. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. I see Dr. Meyers and recommend him to anyone needing a dentist. He listens, he's down to earth and likes to talk to patients. Not an assembly line here.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional, punctual and not pushy. Dr Myers is GREAT! He’s not one of those dentists that views your insurance and tries to do work to make money from you. He checks your teeth and advises you of issues but doesn’t push to get you to do unnecessary dental work that doesn’t real have to be done. I love my Hygentist Sally Field (not the Flying Nun or Gidget)! I’m at one year with them and feel comfortable there!

Fantastic experience: My family have been patients of Dr Perry since moving to Apison 18 years ago. Thorough gentle cleaning, really take their time and make sure you are comfortable. Other urgent procedures are scheduled quickly also, and he prescribed all the needs of my children in a timely fashion. Scheduling is easy and reminders are helpful. Nothing to complain about and won't change dentists just because they built 3 offices closer to me now.

Fantastic experience: as A first time patient, East Hamilton Dental is exceptional! I was called back after waiting only about 10 minutes. Tracy was phenomenal and so sweet. I felt so comfortable and at ease the whole appointment. I didn't See Dr. Myers for long, but the time I did, he was very kind and professional. Will be using them from here on out! Fantastic experience: As usual, the staff was exceptional during my six-month dental check-up, especially the dental tech. I went in for a routine cleaning and left in 36 minutes, an all-time record. I highly recommend flossing, oral rinse, and a water Pic. They create amazingly healthy gums. The explanation about how seasonal allergies can impact my partial was eye-opening, and I was pleased with their assessment of my daily personal oral care.

Negative experience: Great staff and Dentist. Wait times to have a simple cleaning are over a month and a half. Thats absurd, for was for a “dental plan”. Was seen on Sep 23, 24, got a call to schedule my cleaning and was told the earliest was Nov 16, 2024…That’s ridiculous wait times, plenty of dentist in the Chattanooga area. But staff is friendly.

Fantastic experience: Just had my 6-month checkup. Staff is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even though it's not my favorite thing to do - going to the dentist - I'm relaxed due to the wonderful group of people that work there.

Fantastic experience: Clean modern office with very modern equipment, polite and competent staff, fast service, and they actually answer their telephone consistently. They aren't a charity organization so they aren't cheap, but they aren't the most expensive I've had to use either, and you get good quality work for your money. They also have in-house dental membership plans. If you aren't in dire financial straits they are a very good option if you want high quality dental work.
