Fantastic experience: I broke my tooth. My husband had been going to Dr's. Espinal and Willis' office. I hadn't signed up yet but when I called they got me in right away and took great care of me. Everyone was extremely kind and the offices, both Rock Hill and Fort Mill, are beautiful. I rate them an A+

Fantastic experience: Dr. Espinal was very knowledgeable and helpful at my first visit with repairing my tooth. The entire office was extremely friendly and set a comfortable environment for a first time patient. The office is clean and modern and conveniently located in Rock Hill, SC. I highly recommend Espinal and Willis for a 5-star dental experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this dental office. After years as a patient, I decided to transfer my children to their office. I was not informed that they would be out of network with my insurance. Not only did this result in an over $500 bill for just cleaning (should be free in network), but the bill showed a filling done on my son. I was with him. No teeth were filled. The billing office was extremely rude and refused to waive the bill or even a portion of it. I filed a complaint with the BBB (complaint # 22208271) and their office ignored the BBB. This is questionable behavior and extremely poor customer service. Edit to address response from business: This office's reply is highly unethical and patently FALSE. The BBB did not close the case in their favor. The BBB's response says, "Upon review the BBB has determined the company has chosen to remain firm in their position and not offer an alternative resolution." Furthermore, this dental practice is in direct violation of HIPAA which states: " Responses cannot include any of the patient’s protected health information (PHI), even if the patient has revealed their own personal information." The US Department of Health and Human Services states that this includes health care provided, payment of care, etc. A compliant has been filed with the OCR.

Fantastic experience: This is the nicest Dentist I could have ever found in the Rock Hill area. From the minute I called their office,They were willing to help me with my issue after going to a dentist in Charlotte who didn’t care about me. This dentist office demonstrated that they truly care about their patient’s well-being. They are caring, compassionate, very professional and so much fun! They welcome you with smiles and make the dreaded dentist visit a great time. I highly recommend Dr. Knight and all his staff. Thank you for caring for patients the way you do!

I recently was treated by Dr. Michael Knight and he is no exception. He is just as kind, patient and welcoming as everyone else in this office. They are very knowledgeable and they do great quality work. You know you in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: Loved going here today! Really dreaded going back to the dentist and glad I was sent here. This place is really clean and the staff are super friendly. Please make this your place to go and see what I mean. Also, this place see's Veterans that are sent out in town. They do not have to do this and I can say that they do not get paid a whole lot compared to normal patients with normal insurance.

Fantastic experience: The staff and dentists at Espinal & Willis are the BEST. I love places "where everybody knows your name" and the staff at Espinal & Willis fit this to a tee! They are kind, courteous and friendly and always helpful. The hygienists are very knowledgeable and always give information on optimal dental health and hygiene. Finally, Dr. Willis is one of the most gentle and positive dentists! Sometimes going to the dentist can cause anxiety, but his calm demeanor always makes me feel better.

Fantastic experience: So I had a deep cleaning at Español & Willis today at the ft. Mill office. I had Samantha or (Sami) as they call her and she has to be hands down the best hygienist I have ever had. She was amazing at everything she did from the very first hello when I met her to all the numbing she did around my mouth. I almost never felt anything. She never rushed me to open and close my mouth she always ask me if I was in any pain or if I need a break. OH AND DID I MENTION NEVER ANY PAIN....I sat in her chair for over 2 and half hours and it was without a doubt the best and I mean the best dental experience I have ever had. I am almost 60 and have had many dental experiences and I can say she was by far and away the best. Thank Janet for pairing her with me and thank u Español & Willis for having such an amazing person working there for ur patients. I can't leave out the Rock Hill people as well they were also great.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient with Espinal and Willis. I am very happy with my care. I was surprised to receive friendly text reminders the morning of my appointment. I especially want to recognize Joanne, who was very friendly and professional. She also called me right away when my granddaughter and I left leaving her ipod behind. It is very difficult to find a dental office which has both a skilled dentist, clinical and office staff who make you feel comfortable from the first time you call.

Everyone was comforting and made my procedure simple. Very mindful about keeping pain to a low level and keeping the patient happy. They have state of the art technology to help with imaging and procedures. I wasn’t uncomfortable at any time during my procedure. Highly recommend for anyone that needs a higher caliber dentist. There isn’t one person that works here that doesn’t deserve a raise.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Super hard to get numb and stay numb but Dr. Espinal manage today had a crown replaced and some decay removed on last tooth bottom left. I have been going here almost my whole life, first with Dr. Hook. I still love it even though I will always miss Dr. Hook. I highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental practice for over a year now. They are so very professional, patient, and kind. You know you are getting quality care. I was so pleased when I found out that they treat children. Today I brought my two sons for their first cleaning. Shannon was so wonderful with them, as they came in pretty nervous. She explained everything she was doing and let the kids play a role in their cleaning, other than just lying there. Her friendly conversation and sweetness put them at ease. In the end they got toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, a prize from a prize basket, stickers, and even a small tour of the facility. Lol! My boys wanted to come back… like tomorrow! That’s saying something. Everyone here is a gem. They want to know you and care for you as a whole person. Get to know them, too. Yes, somehow it can be done in the midst of getting your teeth cleaned. Haha! They are pretty incredible people. Today I found out that Shannon’s dad used to own the practice. She has seen it through all the changes. Don’t hesitate in making a call to set up your appointment for you and your loved ones. You won’t regret it!

Negative experience: If there was a way to leave 0 stars, I would have! Delta insurance it is now out of network. They saw me mere days after they terminated their contract with delta and I was not notified by the front desk at check in. When films were taken, I said I agree IF my insurance will cover the cost of them. The hygienist said it should and proceeded to do them. When I called my insurance they say they terminated their contract on March 18th and I was seen approx March 24th. I’m told by Espinal and Willis’ office that I was sent an email and letter stating that they were no longer in network. I searched my email back through 2017 and no email was sent. I never saw a letter. I only saw a bill for over 200 dollars with comprehensive dental plan. I’m taken back that the office takes absolutely zero responsibility in their lack of notifying me in person when I checked in and asked before X-rays taken. I will pay the bill but they have lost my business and my respect. I don’t want their omission of the truth to affect someone else that may have the same insurance and end up with a huge bill. After years of paying to see this office, I trusted them to be honest. I am a loyal customer and was treated like this. NOTHING was offered to remedy the situation or to keep my business.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Espinal & Willis since about 2015 & I'm someone with a horrible fear of dentists; just the thought of making a dental appt & my anxiety spikes. I had traumatic experiences with dentists, so I absolutely hate going to see them & struggle to stay in the chair. However, Espinal & Willis has gained my trust... They're the best dentist in the area. They're considered a "premier" dentist under my insurance which means I pay more to be seen here, but I believe they're worth it. Not to mention one of the best points - crown visits are ONE appointment here, they've got a machine onsite to make your crown while you're in the chair. A++ dentist. I'll continue to go here for years to come. My only complaint is that I wish they didn't close down for lunch. This blocks out a really convenient time for patients to schedule an appointment. Would really greatly appreciate if they could take alternating lunch hours & offer that hour to patients.

Fantastic experience: I had a veneer to come off and Dr. Willis was on call. He was in a meeting in Charlotte and called me. He had me to meet him and his assistant at his office . He was very professional and very nice as his assistant. I have never meet either of them. He fixed my tooth and I was on my way for my weekend. I thank him so much for taking care of me. My time there was very relaxed and at ease that he would and did takecare of my problem. Thank you so much Dr. Willis.

I was so upset and wanted to get him to a dentist right away Monday! Dr. Espinal and his staff worked their schedule so they could see us and not only made concessions since Brooks is younger than most of their youth patients, but were so kind and generous with the exam and suggestions for follow-up treatment! I will forever be grateful!! ❤️

Fantastic experience: If you’ve ever experienced tooth pain there are no words to explain how quickly things can escalate. I had an abscess in my mouth and was waiting to see a specialist. The pain escalated over the weekend and Dr. Espinal came in Saturday and Sunday to help me. We pulled the tooth in an emergency situation. He truly cares about his patients and went above and beyond. This is what all doctors should be. Caring, knowledgeable, and love their profession. The entire office staff is incredible too!! If you need a dentist don’t hesitate to make an appointment!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Espinal & Willis after I pulled out one of my fillings while flossing. Dr. Espinal was able to see me the same day. His assistant Britani was great and she helped me relax while waiting. Their treatment plan was conservative, I definitely didn't think that I was being overcharged. Nice office and great atmosphere.
