Rachel created such a welcoming and joyful environment. She was thorough with my cleaning — offering explanations and tidbits of information that I’ll cling to as I care for my teeth in the future, and she made the appointment feel like a reunion between beloved friends. She made me feel like more than a patient on a to-do list. That’s her superpower. It’s clear Rachel loves what she does because she makes those around her feel deeply cared for, even the plants in the office. Negative experience: If I could rate them zero I would. I spoke to a person who got my insurance information: confirmed that they took my insurance. I called my insurance to verify in network coverage. Insurance confirmed my benefits. Only to find out the day of the appointment that my insurance did not allow the benefits as they were maxed out. And these people waited until an hour before the appointment to do this? When I literally sent them my info a week prior? Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Fort Mill I have experienced several dental emergencies, and am not generally proud of the condition of my teeth. Dr. Dominguez, Dr. Rucker and Dr. Walker have all been in my mouth at one time or another. They could not have been more gentle or respectful and saw me as soon as they could work me in. I can't thank them enough for their help and the amazing quality of their work. Dr. Patricia Rucker McCray saw me at her office in Lancaster, Rucker Dentistry, when I was again in a bad way. She also has gentle dental skills and does fabulous work. Many thanks to all for taking such great care of me.

Fantastic experience: Amazing and excellent dental cleaning service provided by Dr. Dominguez recently, enlightening, entertaining as well as informative exchange during the process. I departed from the office in better oral and mental health which is always a plus. I have also had fillings completed by Dr. Walker who is also very caring and willing to answer any questions I may have while being intentional in comforting any dis-ease prior to, during and after. I have been to several other dental practices and none of them have felt like such a familiar and perfect fit. The front desk attendants are very personable communicating clearly and keeping me informed in several convenient formats. I’m so grateful to have been connected with this practice and have the confidence I now have in my oral hygiene!

Negative experience: To be clear, I've never visited the office. However, I have filled out an online form MULTIPLE times to request an appointment since they are very close to my residence. I have never received an email or a call in regards to setting up an appointment as a new patient. I certainly won't try again.

Negative experience: Doctors and staff were rude and patronizing towards me when I asked questions about treatment and billing. They overcharged me and still have not refunded me nearly two months later. I called about this and no one followed up with me, though they acknowledged that I was overcharged. While filling a cavity, the doctor left in the middle of the procedure to go speak with another patient. I used to not mind going to the dentist, but this practice has changed that.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dominguez has been the best (hands down) dentist my children as well as myself have ever been in the hands of. She has made my teenage children - who suffer from severe dental anxiety from precious bad experiences - very comfortable while in the chair. She takes the time to make sure the work is done to the best of her ability no matter how long it takes. She’s never in a rush, she’s always patient & soft spoken. She’s done tremendous with my daughter who required a lot of work after braces. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. D & her staff! I will never go anywhere other than D&R!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dominquez and Rucker Family Dentistry for all my dental care for nearly 7 years. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The dental hygienist is gentle and tells you why each step is being performed. My husband and I have received treatment from both Dr. Dominquez and Dr. Rucker. Both dentists provide thorough exams, explain each procedure in easy to understand layman terms while offering and providing dental advice/care to fit your personal wants, needs and budget. My husband and I are comfortable and satisfied with the service from D & R Dentistry.

Negative experience: I made an appointment specifically for a cleaning and I called beforehand to inquire about price...once I got in office and received cleaning the price was 60 dollars more.. all because a doctor walked in after cleaning and did nothing that I see required 60 dollars extra...my appointment was specifically for a cleaning and not for a doctor to walk in after cleaning and do nothing but charge an extra 60 dollars...In addition they require x-rays yearly which is ridiculous and expensive.. if you take care of your teeth..I will be going elsewhere ....can't afford the prices and the slick moves out of personal in office just so they can charge you extra money...

Negative experience: They care about the money only they don't care about the patient, I went there with a severe pain they didn't help after two appointments I gave up cause they schedule a third appointment for another cleaning when I kept on telling then my tooth hurts i need it to be pull out, they try to do business like I was in no pain, on top of that the lady at the front desk she was really rude to me in person and when I called to cancel the last appointment I recognized her voice and she was not professional at all she was rude , my advice find a different dentist here they will take all your money and you get no help , my tooth still hurts I need to find a dentist after I spend money and Time for things I dont need at this place gold diggers , so upset worst place ever ...............

Fantastic experience: Bj was my dental hygienist. She was very through with my cleaning. It was a basic cleaning but felt like a more through deep cleaning. She had great advice about my care and helped my wife with her deep cleaning visit the same day which she was very satisfied with her visit as well. Great job !

Negative experience: When I arrived for my first appointment a dental assistant talked to me and started the X-ray process A dentist came in welcomed me and told me she would be back to do exam after her assistant had finished. I thought all was well. However a different dentist came in did the exam when I asked questions about the treatment plan and cost he told me he was covering a shift and I wouldn’t see him again. That he normally worked in another office. A third person did my cleaning which was fine. They told me I needed a crown, when I called the next day to ask some questions and schedule I had to leave a message two days later still no call. I called again left another message still no response, I finally just kept calling until I reached someone and asked my questions. I decided to look for someone else to do the crown because it was apparent to me they did not care & I felt like a number So if you are looking for routine cleaning probably all good my family member loves them but has only had cleanings.
