Negative experience: I was told I needed periodontal surgery costing thousands of dollars, but I decided to get a second opinion. A regular deep cleaning resolved my issue without surgery. What concerned me most was that they would not treat my immediate issue unless I agreed to the surgery. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to expensive dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to say pleasant and periodontal in the same sentence, but I am going to say it. I had surgery done on a Thursday before a holiday weekend and was given an instruction sheet with Dr Patel’s cell number on it to call if I had any concerns. I assumed, like most offices these days, it was probably an answering service. That Thursday evening the Dr. himself called and also text me following up to make sure I didn’t have any questions. Wow! What customer service. Then the following Monday his staff called and asked how the weekend went and scheduled my follow-up. I am sure most people can relate to having to “pull teeth” to get great quality customer service and care these days…. But you will definitely find it here at Dr. Samir Patel’s. Thank you for giving me that “pleasant experience”.

Then you have Lori, Daisy, Dakota and Brittany Dr. Patel’s surgical assistances. His has an awesome staff. I appreciate Dr. Patel, and his staff so much. Daisy and Dakota ask if I had any questions or concerns. Lori stood by my side while Dr. Patel, started my IV Sedation which was a great comfort because I was nervous. But with Lori there I was relaxed. “thank you” Then I woke up, my procedure was all done “wow”. Then Brittany kept an eye on me until my ride came and my ride was late, but she still made me feel comfortable. “thank you” she also went over my discharge information with my ride and me. Fantastic experience: My regular dentist had referred me to Dr. Patel to do a paradonal Scaling, and to have a wisdom tooth extracted. I was very nervous about the process. However the kindness and the warm hearted staff made me feel at ease. Dr. Patel, very professional, took his time explaining to me the process of the procedures. He made me feel very confident in him!! He did not disappoint. The process was so fast and quick.I didn't really feel anything..afterwards.They said I would have swelling and pain due to the extraction. I had very little swelling and not to much pain. I was very fortunate, but I think it had a lot to do with Dr. Patel.. I would highly recommend him.He will not disappoint.

I was recently referred to Dr. Patel for a bone graft and implant, I know it was not a minor procedure, but it was one of the easiest and less painful procedures I've ever had at a dental office. Dr. Patel is not only talented and extremely good at what he does, he is also very compassionate and truly cares about his patients and their well-being. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years, and I can whole heartily say he is the best Periodontist I have known. Negative experience: I went to Dr. Patel in April 2025. He told me my gum disease was so bad that he would need to extract 5-6 teeth and there was no hope for me to get implants. As I left the office, they asked me to put down half the money and set the surgical appointment where they would do a surgical deep clean and extract the teeth but I would need to wear partial dentures that would never feel right and would need to be taken out to eat. I didn't commit to anything and left the office looking for a bridge to jump off of. I felt like he had to be right because it didn't benefit for him to lie or be wrong. WRONG. Thank God, I chose to get a 2nd opinion. It is now October 2025, my gum disease is completely healed after one minor surgical clean and only 1 bottom tooth extraction. And gum measurements are normal. Please, please, please...always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion. It's money well spent.

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel is the best. I wish I could give more stars in this review. He saved my troubled existing implant by treating/grafting tissue surrounding the implant. He also installed two more where the gum disease was severe under an old bridge. He was always candid about my treatment plan and and costs involved. He was very personable, quite funny actually and concerned about my oral health. His staff was personable and professional as well. He even called me personally the night after treatments to see if I doing well. Bottom line: I would not hesitate to see him for any further treatment. Though jokingly, I do hope I never have to see the man again. :-)

Fantastic experience: I had to share this review on this dental practice with Dr Patel and his team. I went in to get my implant completed and Dr Patel is literally the best Dentis I have ever been to and had work done on my teeth (and I have seen a lot of dentists) The process was painless and super professional. I walked out of there and was able to get right back to work within 2 hours of leaving the practice. Dr Patel also personally calls you throughout the healing process to make sure you are doing well and there are no issues with the healing. I have never had a Dentis call me once they have completed the work, to check in on me and make sure everything was going well with the work they had completed. I would highly recommend this Dental practice with Dr Patel and his team!

Negative experience: I've never been more humiliated in my life! Nor have I had a dentist and the assistant make fun of me. Literally laugh! How have you "never heard of plackers?" They want to pull out 8 teeth ( I was fully aware of 4) went back to my regular dentist and.he said I'd be able to keep them for another 15 YEARS!! Not months YEARS! Phone ringing.off the hook with cancelations. Want 30k ... I'll get what I need done with my regular dentist 5k. It was so bad they way they treated me I asked if the next question they wanna ask was can I tie my shoes and button my own shirt. I left in tears. They didn't care about my anxiety, years . As soon as I was in the chair they start bombarding me with surgery instructions..it was a consultation. Sorry bud I'm not making your boat payments!

Negative experience: Went in for only for a deep cleaning. The periodontist was very rude to me, practically yelling that I needed a DENTIST! All he did was take some fancy 3D x-ray. Then he told me one of my wisdom teeth had to be extracted! At my age (over 65) to yank out a straight good tooth that never had a cavity and causes me no pain or trouble? Then raised his voice telling me again that I needed a DENTIST (as if I was too stupid to have understood when he said that already) before he could do anything for me and suggested the dentist right next door to him. How convenient! I thought about making an appointment there, but the office was locked and all staff appeared to be sitting in the reception room enjoying a break. At 3 PM? Seemed unprofessional. I finally found a good dentist I trust, near where I live, who has never suggested EXTRACTING any of my teeth and is taking good care of me. His comments, below, are startling. It is not permitted that he reveal personal information about a patient and previous diagnoses, treatments, care or information conveyed to him by a patient in confidence. PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY! HIPPA privacy rules. Has he ever heard of HIPPA? That says it all about this person and his lack of professionalism.

Negative experience: Please do NOT go to Dee Patel for Dysport or fillers. I am completely shocked that she has so many positive reviews. Dee ruined my face and then, insulted me when I reached out to her for advice. I asked for a subtle brow lift and treatment of my glabella for my “11” lines. I informed Dee that I wasn’t concerned with my forehead wrinkles and that I still wanted movement in my face. I was promised a brow lift with an “cat-eye” look and more lid space for my eye makeup. Instead, I ended up with a frozen forehead and drooping, lowered brows, and a large bruise/hematoma on my forehead. During my appointment, Dee tried to convince me that I needed $1500 worth of Dysport in my entire face and became irritated when I told her I only wanted to treat the brows. I’m not new to Botox and Dysport or to paying for expensive procedures, but this is the worst result I have ever had. When I reached out to Dee to express my concerns, she insisted that it was my “sagging skin”, “skin laxity”, and “drooping, hooded eyelids” that were the problem, not her poor technique and that she expected that I would have an undesirable result because of the way that I looked before the injections. This was never discussed with me before the injections. I was promised a lifted, cat-eye look and was told “I would be sorry that I hadn’t done this sooner”. I have included a picture of myself taken just two weeks BEFORE seeing Dee (no filter, just makeup) to show you what this provider thinks is skin laxity, sagging skin and droopy, hooded eyelids. I am too embarrassed to post an after photo. Please save yourself $800 and several months of embarrassment by avoiding Dee Patel.

Fantastic experience: Great office! That includes how well the office itself is kept, the service of front office, the service of the assistants, and how knowledgeable the Provider is. If you want the bad part, it’s the cost, and only one to blame for that is my hubby, he put off getting his implants for a decade and had to get more work done. Just know that Perio care is very important, and Dr. Patel is extremely intelligent, he takes the time to explain very thoroughly what is going on, your options for treatment and his staff is well equipped to make you aware before starting treatment what to expect.

Negative experience: Really bad experience with them. The doctor gave me a quote and I didn´t want to do a cement filling but he said that he wasn't going to charge me for that filling because he was already doing the same cement mix for my implant and he would just do it, I thought that he was very nice, until 6 months after I had finished the treatment and paid all my invoices ( +7k$ out of pocket ) out of the blue a girl calls me asking for another 376$ for that extra filling. I explained that the doctor offered that for free and I asked the doctor to call me to talk with him, he never did called, instead they sent the invoice to a collectors agency!!! And I found out about this by receving calls from a collector! Doctor enjoy your 376$, very elegant way to treat a patience. I will never visit you again. By the way, we paid the invoice +4 months ago and your collector keeps calling, please at least let him know that it is paid!

Fantastic experience: I went to Dee for Botox on my forehead, 11s, and under eye jelly roll. She did sooo good! There are so many options to choose from in Charlotte, but her work speaks for itself. This was my first time getting Botox (or anything done to my face), so she made me feel as comfortable as possible! Plus this office came highly recommended by my Orthodontis (Reynold's Orthodontics) who I LOVE! Anyway... Dr. Patel and staff were absolutely amazing! He explained everything in full detail, his staff followed up when they were supposed to (and even when they didn't have to), there were no billing issues, and the office environment is PHENOMENAL! They have all high tech gadgets to get the work done right, and done right the very first time. Everyone there is polite and has great personality. They treat every client how people should be treated! You're literally getting everything that you're paying for with this office. They're the equivalent of the first class hotel with 1,000 sq foot rooms, 2000 thread count sheets, pillow top mattresses, with goosedown pillows and a beach balcony view! I was nervous about the procedure but both the staff and the doctor explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. My procedure went well and I attribute that to the excellent work of Dr.Patel and his friendly, efficient team. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Wow I cannot say enough good things. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. Answered all my questions and made me feel very relaxed about having to have surgery. The entire staff was so nice and this morning on my surgery the women I saw during my first appointment (Christy) made sure to pop her head in and say hello and she was glad to see me. What a great office! Clean and beautiful! My surgery went smoothly and Dr. Patel called me this evening to see how I was doing. Absolutely impressed!

Positive experience: Great staff. Great atmosphere and facilities.

Negative experience: For the most part it was a good experience. However there were three things that were deciding factors of me not returning. First, the periodontist did not fully listen to the information I provided to him. Second when finished with the consultation he just walked out of the room without a word to me. And lastly, a prescription was called in to the pharmacy before I even agreed to move forward with having the procedure done through this office.
