Fantastic experience: The office is clean and well-run. Reception is friendly and organized. They have a range of hours for people who work full-time. Very little wait time. The hygienist was kind and gentle which was appreciated, as I am a very nervous dental patient. Dr. Abayev is low-key and efficient. His dental assistant is friendly and reassuring. Services are quick but not rushed. It had been a very long time since I went to a dentist. What I appreciated most was that I was not overly questioned, lectured, or talked down to about the importance of dental care. I am aware. They helped me get back on track. I am glad to have found them.

Negative experience: A hot mess. They’re always short staffed or closing early, and rescheduling appointments. They rescheduled me for an appointment I originally had in April and told me the day before my new appointment that they don’t take my insurance anymore. It was a change that occurred back in March but they didn’t bother to tell me this before my April appointment. I could’ve went and found a new dentist during this time. Can’t say much about the skills of the dentists since I’ve never seen one.

I was tired of the outrageously high dentists in the U.S. even with my insurance. Boy, am I glad I waited!!! Such an excellent dentist, plus he took my insurance and no out of pocket to me. I got more dental work done with him, then I had in the last 10 yrs. Everyone who works there is amazingly friendly. From the front desk, to the dental assistants. And the dentist is amazing himself. Usually, im terrified of needles.... but he is so gentle, I barely felt a pinch. Needless to say, he will be me and my family dentist for the foreseeable future.

Fantastic experience: I had heard of Amazing Smile Dental from a mutual friend for tooth pain.Upon calling the dental office to make an appointment, they were extremely nice professional and seemed to care about the issue with my tooth. The receptionist was very easy to speak to and communicated the details of my appointment well. When I had arrived at the office they were very welcoming, and I didn’t have to wait long for the doctor to see me. Once I had sat down with the doctor he knew what to do straight away, and explained it in a matter that was very understandable. He worked very swiftly and effectively. I highly recommend this place for anyone that has any dental issues.

Negative experience: I am deeply disappointed with the experience my elderly great-grandmother and I had at this dental office. From the very beginning, there were several issues that should have been easily avoided with better communication and professionalism. When I first called to inquire about dentures for my great-grandmother, I explicitly stated that I did not want to proceed with an appointment if her insurance did not fully cover the cost. The receptionist assured me that an appointment was necessary to determine coverage, so we went ahead and scheduled one for 11:30 AM. One day before the appointment, I received a call from the office to confirm a 3:30 PM appointment, which was incorrect. I had to point out that our appointment was actually scheduled for 11:30 AM. The receptionist then informed me that the time had been changed to 3:30 PM. This change was not communicated clearly or respectfully. Instead of acknowledging the original time and asking if the new time was convenient for us, the receptionist was vague and unprofessional in her approach. However, because my great-grandmother desperately needed dentures, we reluctantly agreed to the new time. On the day of the appointment, after arriving at the office, we were informed that the insurance did not cover the cost of the dentures. This was exactly what I wanted to avoid from the beginning. I had made it abundantly clear that we would not be coming in if the insurance didn’t cover the procedure. The fact that the receptionist still allowed us to come in despite knowing our circumstances is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. Overall, the receptionist was unprofessional, unorganized, and not transparent throughout the entire process. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and frustration, especially for my great-grandmother, who was counting on getting the dentures she needed. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for clear communication and professional service.

Fantastic experience: I don’t ever write reviews but I encountered some unexpected dental concerns and Amazing Smile was there for me, after a horrible experience with a different dental office. The other dental office was advising me toward higher cost procedure that was not in best interest of my dental health as well (and not helping me with pain/medication). Amazing Smile from the very first call with them and their great front office team was caring, empathetic and always trying to find ways to help. They helped me with my pain, and treated me almost immediately to help resolve my dental issue. Dentist and entire team are kind, listen and always there to ensure you are feeling well. I will continue visiting Amazing Smile for my dental health and have brought my family/children as well.

The staff displayed excellent professionalism and worked with me to ensure my needs were met at an afforable rate. During my visit the dentist checked in with me frequently to ensure that I was comfortable and not in pain. They are definetely going to be my go to for periodical cleanings and dental needs. There are a few pros I had before going to the office: like it is walking distance from job and home which makes it super convenient. First time went for a cleaning and knowing that I had an issue with a tooth that was giving me pain. The staff was super professional and down to earth. Got my cleaning and X-rays done, which confirmed the pain and the cause for it. The doctor was very professional and detailed with his explanation. Got my appointment for a root canal that was needed and overdue. Got my appointment and also later a call because there was earlier availability. Always glad to get the reminder call for my appointment and another call if there's earlier availability and I'm interested in taking the earlier one. Today I had the last part with the permanent crown installed and I'm extremely happy. Really happy with the whole office, staff and the doctor. Will continue visiting the office!

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist in Queens! After years of going to the same dentist, because of an emergency that happened on a Sunday when my regular dentist was closed, I had to find an emergency dentist. I was so happy to find Dr Igor and his team! Now I have made the switch and they have become my go-to dentist office. I woke up on a Sunday with a throbbing tooth ache. I don't know where it came from or why it started but as the day progressed it became more and more intense. The pain became so intense I became incapacitated and started seeing stars. At this point my wife scrambled to find a dentist that would accept me as a new patient, late in the day, and on a Sunday! My wife called Amazing Dental and begged them to take me, and they did. I walked in deeply hurting from the pain, grumpy, angry and probably not very polite. They were kind, and very professional. After some prodding, x-rays and pain killers I came back to life. I had a big infection in a root canal. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics and some pain killers. Long story short I have since been there a few times to fix the issue, had a new crown made, and finished with a nice cleaning. Every time I leave there happy and in better dental health. After years of going to the dentist and hating every minute if it, I am happy to report that I have found a good dentist with good happy people who do a wonderful job and care about you. If you need a dentist I recommend you give them a shot. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

The receptionists, the hygienist and of course the dentist all make sure you are well informed and feel comfortable. I love that I can be seen on weekends and that whenever something comes up they find a way to fit me in as soon as possible.
