CARTI Cancer Center: Reviews
Negative experience: A little over a year ago, I had a salivary stone removed by Dr. Brady. My hypoglossal nerve was severely and permanently damaged during this procedure. Despite hundreds of hours of therapy, I continue to struggle with speech and swallowing. This outcome is extremely rare and my lack recovery also rare demonstrating just how poorly this surgery went. To this day, I have not received an adequate explanation as to what happened that day. To make the experience worse, I was never told of the potential for permanent injury to my hypoglossal nerve and the risk of permanently losing functionality in speaking and swallowing. This surgery was done while Dr. Brady was at University Hospital in Cleveland, but if you have a choice of surgeon at CARTI something to consider.
Fantastic experience: Incredible.all personal, attendant, secretary, welcome counter, radiation therapy personal, all of them are the best. They make your treatment look easy. Best medical and clinic persons. I was blessing with all the workers people in this place. Thanks all of you for be so kindness.
Negative experience: I am sharing this experience so others in Arkansas can make informed decisions about their care. On December 29, 2025, I formally communicated my decision to withdraw from radiation treatment at CARTI, along with detailed concerns. As of today, I have not received any acknowledgment or response. During treatment, I experienced repeated mechanical breakdowns of the Linear Accelerator #2 machine, which led to cancellations and rescheduling for repairs. These were not isolated incidents and affected my confidence in the consistency and reliability of treatment. The daily treatment schedule, combined with delays, also made it difficult to manage personal health needs, including incontinence. More concerning than the treatment issues is the lack of communication afterward. When a patient clearly communicates a decision about their care, acknowledgment should be standard practice. As a 68-year-old Foundational Black American, I approach medical care with an awareness of history that makes trust, respect, and communication essential. This is not an accusation—it is context. This is not written to be political. It is written to be factual. Patients deserve to be heard, especially when the mechanical reliability of treatment equipment may impact consistent and effective care. Respectfully, Bobby D. Tillman
Fantastic experience: So far, this place is awesome. Ive been having some crazy health situations go on and they were quick to start a plan. Within a few weeks ive already had testing and treatment with more tests to follow. They usually call back quickly if you have concerns and have facilities in different areas to make things easier on some people for travel.
Fantastic experience: I saw the CARTI Dental Clinic. The equipment was state of the art and less invasive when getting my check up. I would highly recommend as well. The staff and Dr were very proficent and attentive to my needs.
Fantastic experience: Class act and everyone is very happy! Cutting edge cancer center
Negative experience: I called the medical records department on yesterday morning at 9 am. The female stated she was going to look into finding my records, a specific item, and would call me back because I told her I would pick up the item in question because I had a ride to bring me. She said ok. I waited 4 hours and when she had not called by 1:30 pm, I decided to call back. Another female answered the phone and I told her what I wanted. She went and asked the other female I had spoken with that day and she came back to the phone to tell me that she said she couldn't find anything. I asked her why did she not call me back as soon as she knew? She said I don't know. Now the reason I addressed the girl as a female is because she was not a professional adult handling CARTI business. She knew I was WAITING for a call back and boom she didn't have the courtesy of honoring my request of calling back. I feel this is so unacceptable as a professional medical business dealing with sick patients, especially with me having stage 4 cancer. This is such a bad spot on CARTI as a medical facility. I am very very furious with this female. I don't have transportation and I kept a person WAITING on me to tell them something. SHAME ON MEFICAL RECORDS.
Fantastic experience: The facility is one of the most peaceful and tranquil facilities I have ever been too. The employees care for each and every person that comes through their doors. I cannot say enough about the experience and treatment I received at CARTI.
Fantastic experience: They are very friendly at this facility.
Negative experience: My wife sees Dr. J. Barretto, for Pancreatic Cancer. He is the greatest there is. It's not his fault or whom we blame. Now due to Carti mismanagement of over scheduling, are appt with him will be late , because he now has to wait on the MRI RESULTS!!! Carti on the other hand we traveled 3 1/2 hours to get to a 12 30 appt, and we were 10 min early. So now we are setting in the waiting room for 1 hour and 3 minutes LATER. (Really 1hour and 3 minutes late) for a MRI. The lady at the front desk; when my wife asked how long it would be due to she had already taken her medication to relax in order to get inside the MRI tube. She didn't even look up at my wife to agnolge her, but informed her they will get to her when they can. Do to the double standards; if we don't show or we are late we get charged for the visit and/or re-scheduled. How about Carti, pay the patients who are sick and in pain a late fee equal to the amount they charge us for the same procedures their late to fulfill on time. OUR TIME IS MORE VALUABLE TO THE SICK PATIENTS THAN THEIR 8 HOUR SHIFTS. NOTE: WE ARE NOT CATTLE... You don't have to flood the pins to make more money on people who are hurting already. Schedule only the work load you can handle in a day. Just an idea! OUR TIME IS VALUABLE ALSO!!!!
Fantastic experience: This place has some of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. My only complaint is their gift shop isnt very well managed.
Fantastic experience: I started my cancer journey back around the end of May 2024. Went from DCIS to stage 4 BC. Dr Fant, Dr Middleton, Dr. Roughton, the technicians, the radiologists, the nurses, staff are all wonderful! I love my care team and how much they care for each individual. Carti has made my journey easier. Thank you! My review is for this Carti and my local Carti
Fantastic experience: This was a good experience I was afraid and hurting. My lung was drained and I got real relief. Nice and helpful tech's. Also a Easy check-in. Thank you Carti
Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful
Negative experience: Wait times are unacceptable
Fantastic experience: I was there to see Dr. Briggler, Hematologist. He was fantastic; straight and to the point, yet had a good bedside manner. All nurses, lab personnel, and staff were efficient, professional, and kind.
Fantastic experience: Weent for xray. Was in and out in less then an hour. Staff was friendly and very professional.
Fantastic experience: Everyone from staff to nurses and Dr.Mooney were attentive, kind and professional!
Fantastic experience: So clean and comfortable for treatments.
Fantastic experience: Mom had an Appt got there early because we are over 2 hours away. They were very friendly nice and helpful. I had a hard time parking but it was because im not used to driving a truck used to a small compact car or suv. Other than that everything was perfect. Tjey got her on and out. And we're back on the road before her appointment time.
Fantastic experience: Very nice Verygood place
Fantastic experience: Excellent staff professional environment
Fantastic experience: No way to completely explain the wonderful folks who work here !! Just can't say thank you enough !
Negative experience: Billing is horrible! I received a bill that stated Final Notice, and it was my first time receiving the bill. I paid the bill in full last month. Now I have received a bill that states, "Collection Notice." This is my first time receiving this bill. My insurance company spoke with the billing department last month and was told I did not owe anything else. Now this out of the blue. I have also met my out-of-pocket limit. How can you ruin someone's credit with wrong information.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly people and doctors
Fantastic experience: Wonderful, intelligent, people who know their job& love their work
Positive experience: Got in and out fast, which I feel is a plus but after the appointment follow up communication wasn't very great. Visit was professional and pleasant, just wish there had been more explanation and discussion about the next steps afterwards
Fantastic experience: Amazing people, staff, and Dr's. Lab is awesome, check in was so sweet and helpful, and Dr's and nurses absolutely the nicest people.
Fantastic experience: They are very diligent . Take there time and listen. I Feel very sure I am in great hands with people that like there jobs and care about me !!
Fantastic experience: I have never been treated as just a number. I have always been treated as a patient and my providers are great. They listen to your concerns and but your mind at ease.
Fantastic experience: The place is filled with great people . The lad , my Dr and her employees everyone is there to make your experience a good one .
Fantastic experience: I've been to ALL the Hospitals in the area. If you have cancer, the place to go is the place that Specializes in Cancer care, CARTI!
Positive experience: The facility is beautiful. The technology is 5 years behind. The staff is semi knowledgeable but very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Always great staff and kind. However, we were 40 minutes early for 10 o'clock appt and at 1045, there were still 4 patients ahead of my mother. Although is not their norm.....the wait times today were not acceptable today.
Fantastic experience: Excellent from the time you walk in till you leave
Fantastic experience: Friendly and supportive. Great place doing great things.
Fantastic experience: I visited CARTI recently and was very impressed. They are the first doctors office to ever send a folder in the mail with detailed info for your appointment and how to get there/park/etc, your doctor's info, paperwork, etc. Everything was right there. I get confused in hospitals and doctor offices so I was surprised when they had several staff posted around the building to help with directions. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and I found the places I needed to be with ease. I got labs done and Naim (Nemo) was the person who drew my blood; I'm not lying when I say that he has the magic touch. Normally needles are painful, but I barely felt the needle this time. I was lowkey shocked. Naim was kind and even gave me the option of choosing my bandage color (I chose blue lol). I then went to the 2nd floor check-in area where I checked in with Michelle (I believe that was her name). She was a little ray of sunshine and made the process easy. Eventually nurse Jennifer brought me back to go over vitals, the issues I had been having, etc. She was also super friendly and good at listening. She asked all the right questions and I felt satisfied that we covered everything. Finally, Dr. Gentry and her coworker (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) came in and went over labs with me and we discussed my issues further. Again, they were so sweet and compassionate. I didn't feel rushed and I felt well taken care of. Also, Dr. Gentry's office is decorated so nicely which was a plus to me (I love when Dr. Offices have personalities of their own). I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. I have to go back for a procedure in a couple of weeks and I'm not nervous because I know I'll be taken care of. With all of that being said, I did take time to read some of the negative reviews and I want to note that everyone has different experiences - mine may have been a good one, but there are handfuls of negative reviews too. If you have a choice in care I just recommend doing your research and finding a place you believe will be best for you. Navigating the medical world can be scary so do what's best for you.
Fantastic experience: Hannah in Hematology/Infusion took such good care of me today. Thanks so much
Negative experience: My mother had a history of breast cancer and some lab work came back abnormal, so she was referred to Dr Harrington for a work up. She went to her initial visit and was scheduled to come back for a bone marrow biopsy. The next week my mom was hospitalized and found to have a mass on her liver. I contacted Dr Harrington office to let them know. They got the records from the hospital and instructed us to go to Baptist to be admitted for a liver biopsy. We were admitted to Baptist on a Thursday and discharge on Saturday. We were told multiple times on discharge that we would get the results from Dr Harrington office the following Monday or Tuesday. By Tuesday we had not heard from them so I left a message for the nurse. The next day my dad left another message as we had not heard back from them on Tuesday. My mom has since passed away and we have yet to receive a phone call on the results. They were posted to her pt portal by the hospital, but not even a phone call was made to let us know how bad it was. I understand there was nothing that could have been done, but I feel like we were completely discarded bc of how advanced the cancer was. I could be wrong, but haven’t been able to speak with anyone to know. I have always thought highly of this facility, but the lack of communication in this situation has been very disheartening and disappointing.
Fantastic experience: They are very well equipped and very easy access to the interstate...they seams to have top notch doctors and equipment there too....extremely nice building....very spacious.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place and they have the best doctor's!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff, from patient drop-off to physician specialist, CARTI personnel makes you feel cared for and welcome. Of course, it really sucks if you have to make the trip, but, it really helps to know you are well cared for and your health matters!
Fantastic experience: Best place to go for treatment. Everyone is very professional and understanding. They explain each and every step in treatment so you can understand. Dr. Middleton and his nurse's are the best.
Negative experience: Trying to get in to be seen for a cancer diagnosis. Called and they said to bring over my medical records. Spent a day to print out over 200 and brought them and dropped them off in person. They lost them. Not sure i want to trust an organization with my life that cant keep track of paperwork.
Fantastic experience: Exceptionally care. Friendly staff. This is where you want to go for help with your cancer.
Fantastic experience: Nice employees. Very polite. Will return.
Fantastic experience: They have an amazing staff. It is very clean. It is easy to get to, and the best part for not being the patient is they kept me well informed on what was going on. I can't say enough how amazing the staff was.
Negative experience: Brandon was extremely unprofessional and rude during my visit
Negative experience: Looking for a second option from my cancer doctors in rogers, recommendations on who you recommended and who you dont
Fantastic experience: Carti in Little Rock is unmatched! They give amazing health care and customer service. Dr. Grace Raja is very caring and understanding.
Fantastic experience: I was totally frightened when I was told I had cancer, but the staff, receptionist. Infusion teams and Doctors really made me feel relaxed..I trust them all with my life..The nurses are all professional ..Cati Cancer Center is the Best!!!!..
Fantastic experience: Very professional and supportive staff. Everyone made us feel welcomed and supportive.
Fantastic experience: Very nice people who cear about other's
Fantastic experience: Sandy, Jeanne and Mary are angels from above. They are Rockstars. Sandy went above and beyond yesterday, by showing me the path to go to several people that cared. It is because of her thoughtfulness, that I am feeling loved and cared about today. She and Jeanne took the time to share their knowledge about breast cancer and helped me and my mom. Their level of understanding exceeds many people that we have spoken with with regard to my diagnosis. I am grateful that God placed them, directly in our path and in so doing, we met others as well. Thank you all for caring, and especially for taking the initiative to give us the direction we needed
Fantastic experience: Because I have only had cancer once this is the only facility that I went to throughout my treatment. I love Dr Makhoul and Dr Robertson. Just about all members of staff here are friendly. The waits can be long though. The facility is lovely and light and modern.
Fantastic experience: You have single handedly changed my life. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: The atmosphere and the $5,000.00 recliner with heat is great. I went to the NLR CARTI but from what I heard they are similar but LR is larger. I would think it would have a more beautiful view. It makes you feel good when the room is cool and you have that warm blanket and extra warmth that you control from the chair. You might think I'm talking about a spa. No. They tell you each step they do as you get your chemo. I usually dosed off during my treatment.
Fantastic experience: carti really be opening up clinics before dropping the album
Fantastic experience: Carti saved my life. Thank you for helping me
Fantastic experience: Can confirm playboi carti was my doctor. Gave me upmost care and i felt i was in good hands. just disappointed dr. carti hasn't dropped
Fantastic experience: Dr. Baretto is great. He’s very good at explaining lab results, draws diagrams for you to understand your procedures, and is reassuring. The staff and nurses in the clinics, radiology, and surgery center were all very kind. I could tell they wanted to help and kept a genuine smile on their face whenever they interacted with me. They were accommodating to me, never made me feel like a burden or that my requests to be more comfortable were too much. They knew I was having a lot of anxiety and overall a scary experience and interacted with me accordingly. I hope I never have to go back, but if I do I know I’ll be in good hands.
Fantastic experience: Such kind and professional and helpful people who work there.
Positive experience: The front receptionists need to put a smile on their face!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Dr Briggler and staff are the best, I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, this January will be 2 years..I have received the best care I could hope for. They're always friendly and helpful..May God continue to Bless all you do Dr Briggler and team.
Negative experience: This place is a joke. Finally got in to see the Urologist. He was great BUT gave me a medicine telling me if not working let him know promptly in two weeks. Called back in two weeks to be told there is absolutely no way to speak to a nurse, send message, or be transferred to his particular office. Couldn't let the Dr know at all or receive a different medicine. High dollar to be seen here then this happened. Still have no help but have a huge bill. The system they have there at Carti is crazy. Sometimes you may need to speak to your treating Dr's nurse. I would NEVER go back to Carti.
Fantastic experience: Efficient, friendly and proffessional. 3 years with cancer . I'm still kicking! Highly recommended.
Negative experience: Hardest place I have ever tried to get an appt with. Not an easy task. Was not impressed at all. A lot of confusion from time I made the appt to going to my appt and leaving upset and in tears. Would never recommend the breast center ever!!
Fantastic experience: Dear Dr. Patel, I hope this letter finds you in great health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and treatment you have provided me during my journey with cancer. Your dedication and expertise have made a profound difference in my life. Since starting your treatment plan, I have experienced not only successful management of my cancer but also a significant improvement in my overall quality of life. The sustainable approach you implemented has allowed me to regain control and enjoy everyday activities that I once thought would be lost to me. Your attention to detail and commitment to my well-being have been truly remarkable. Thanks to your guidance and support, I have been able to add more quality years to my life. I am incredibly grateful for the time I get to spend with my family and friends, and I cherish every moment. Your compassion and understanding have made a challenging journey more bearable, and I am thankful to have had you as my oncologist. I appreciate the time you took to explain each step of the treatment process and for always being available to address my concerns. It has made a world of difference knowing that I am in such capable hands. Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. I look forward to continuing my journey under your care and hope to share more positive milestones with you in the future. Warmest regards, Michael Turner
Fantastic experience: Staff is amazing got to spend time and watch my friend and another patient ring the bell
Fantastic experience: i would deffo recommend Mr. Kenyatta Frazier (aka Ken Carson). He cured my testicular cancer. Made me feel really good iykyk. Mr. Jordan Terrell Carter also did good and sang his song “all red”. Also my man bobby the III (aka lone) sang me his new album. glad 2 meet opium. FWÆH. SEEYUH.
Fantastic experience: Staff from the front desk, admissions, nurses, and doctors were all professional and compassionate to me and my family during my husband's procedure. Human kindness can be a light to brighten even the darkest days, and CARTI shines bright. ✨️
Fantastic experience: Dr. Mooney is top notch! He took wonderful care of my dad. He listens, and shows genuine care for his patients
Fantastic experience: Very nice hospital. Extremely friendly staff, very clean environment, and excellent service. Would definitely recommend going here if you need specialized medical treatment.
Fantastic experience: Very clean, staff was very helpful, friendly, made the experience pleasant, easy to get to ..
Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly & courteous. Competent, excellent medical professionals. Outstanding facilities.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility and it seems to be filled with caring people
Positive experience: This place is absolutely extraordinary. From the views, to the parking, to the elevator ride, and the exceptional people that they have welcome you into the building, the vibe was definitely one that it was designed to make you feel comfortable. The reason I gave 4 stars and not five is because on the 3rd floor I believe, when my husband and I were trying to find his doctor, there was a woman who was rather judgmental with her body language, with the way her eyes cut, and really does she tried to hide this, I can see it making other people feel uncomfortable as well. So it's a posh spot, but there's definitely no need for anybody to act bougie inside of a Cancer Center; I'm just sayin.
Fantastic experience: Have been going to the one in nlr for years even before they moved into the new building and hate the multi hour wait after your appt time, chose to move my care to this location and im in and out. Drive right by the one in nlr now just to make a 30 minute drive to this location.
Fantastic experience: The people at Carter are very friendly and helpful good customer service
Fantastic experience: I had a late terminal stage lung cancer for unknown reasons, one day a friend recommanded me this place by telling me i would be instantly cured. It was my last hope, even tho i did not believe terminal stage cancer was cureable, boy i was wrong. A few minutes after i entered this place, i could already feel that i was doing better, but it wasn't until i was met by Playboi Carti himself, who use a tiny fraction of his Aura to remove my illness, that i could consider myself as cancer-free. Thanks Carti, the tiny amount of your boundless aura that you've put deep inside me, saved my life, i'll be here day 1 for the next album (if i don't die of old age by then) FWÆ
Fantastic experience: CARTI has literally been a life saver and everyone from the time you walk in is nice and helpful in all departments. Over the past several years, I've had plenty of experiences (before and during pandemic and now with endemic) in radiology, lab, gift shop, infusion center, and with hematologist/primary oncologist. Highly recommend all. Only place I've never had to had have more than 2 sticks in one day over 6 years of visits!
Negative experience: I have a sister who unfortunately chose to listen to the doctors who follow western medicine. She’s been battling cancer for several months now & little to no change. The chemo & radiation are destroying her immune system. The doctors have told her sugar does not feed cancer cells & sugar isn’t the bad guy. They also told her there isn’t a cure for cancer. I have nothing more to say than YES- sugar is a poison and feeds cancer cells. Is sugar the only bad guy- absolutely not but it’s a big one. And yes there is a cure for cancer. I just pray everyone starts to realize the brainwashing we’ve experienced for years now and they take their health into their own hands. Educate yourselves!!
Fantastic experience: Dr Mooney ,Dr Brizzolara said my life. The urology department is the best I this area. The staff is world class. They have earned my respect. I owe them more than I could imagine.
Fantastic experience: They will absolutely take care of you!. This place and the people are wonderful!!!
Fantastic experience: The care of the employees, doctors & phlebotomists are exemplary!
Negative experience: Dr. Wilder I want to say God Bless you. You did not save my mother which I am not angry at all, but you did see the power of God. His love and care kept her alive for 8 years after discovering she was diagnosed with cancer. He received her back to His Kingdom April 30th 2023. See, God takes a difficult situation and makes a joyous moment for those who shared the love this woman opened to all. Even to you, I know you saw her kindness, laughter, and belief. She loved you and trusted you but I told her to put her faith in God and look what He did. Whose our God? He's magnificent, omnipotent, loving, caring and just awesome. When patient feel let down by those He bless to heal; He comes in and calms the storm. I hope He does show in your heart His love for you and all those who doubt His power. I pray He touches your heart and let you know HE IS LOVE and He loves you just as much as you love yourself. This prayer I leave with you in the sweetest name on EARTH: Jesus Christ His forever LOVING Son who died for you and my sin. Despite the hurt I felt, God still wants me to know I can't move forward until I can forgive, and I forgive and love you in the name of Jesus.
Fantastic experience: man when u dropping the album WAEH im thinking about dying my hair red to look like a pint of red ⛓️ SEEYUH
Fantastic experience: I recommend seeing Dr. Jordan Terrell Carter he was able to help me find the right treatment for my opium cancer
Fantastic experience: DR jordan Carter heal my tersticular cancer !! FWHAE ♥️ MEH
Fantastic experience: Wonderful, caring nurses and doctors! Carti feels like home!
Negative experience: By far the most non compassionate team the oncologist and urologist are amazing other teams there would probably be happy if you just passed away so you are not inconveniencing any longer than possible
Negative experience: If I could do 0 stars I would. My spouse was scheduled for a small procedure at 11:15 am for the longest time. A couple days before they called and told us to be there at 12:30 that his minor procedure had changed to 2:30. Wow 2 hours early? They must have cancelations and get people in early I thought. Nooo. We showed up at 12:30 and my husband was finally taken for his procedure at 4:30!!! No apologies from anyone. I made it known we thought that was outrageous and how they're running things is absolutely inconsiderate to people. His procedure took 20 minutes. They had us wait for 4 hours. And then wait another hour and a half before they brought me back to we could leave. Then after 6 hours of us being in this building the "director" as she called herself came running up to us as soon as I had my hand on the door talking about "she had been trying to get to us to see what they can do better" and when I laughed and proceeded to walk off and tell her what I thought, she proceeded to threaten to call the police on me and told me to get off the property. When I didn't threaten her in any way I just answered her questions while WALKING AWAY.She called security and made a huge scene seemingly at our expense. Worst place ever we will not be back ever. Absolutely insane how they treat people. ZERO STARS
Negative experience: Insane how they want you to show up two hours early just for them to be two hours late. I think I'd rather die than wait on people listening to girls talking about getting their eye brows done and how they are ready to quit.
Fantastic experience: I've been there a few times now for imaging services. Super clean and up to date facilities with a friendly professional staff.
Fantastic experience: Excellent overall experience. Caring doctors and staff
Fantastic experience: Great care. Sometimes a little confusing where to go for appointments though. I like the NLR Carti better if able to go to that one. Also want to add that the new CARTI surgery center across the street is top notch state of the art center for Cancer.
Positive experience: Wonder experience myself. But When I took my dad to see his Doctor we literally had to wait 2 hours past his appt. I repeatedly let them know how sick my father was and he could not tolerate sitting in the Wheelchair any longer. No place to let him lay down nor did the make any provisions for him. We ALWAYS wait a VERY long time for his Doctor at either Little Rock or Bryant. Seems they should be more respectful of time. So many physicians over book appts for the same time slot. Very frustrating. I must add the physicians are top notch, seems like a scheduling issue.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. Everyone there shows concern and compassion for patients and staff. Facility is well maintained.
Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place? The people here are a God send. I have never experienced such care outside of my Mother's care. Love love love them. They are taking excellent care of both of us. Saving lives is their mission and they are doing a superb job.
Fantastic experience: Best cancer treatment center in Arkansas as far as I'm concerned That's where I go
