Fantastic experience: I had a good visit at Arkansas Dental Centers today. Dr. Haynie & Serenity work well as a team. I appreciate their hard work and attention to detail. Also, thanks to the front office staff for a good welcoming environment. Thanks.

Negative experience: This rating is for the hygienist who provided my cleanings. I had to have a filling because the hygienist they stuck me with is so incompetent she was unable to clean a crown properly. Due to her lack of skill I had to pay over 500.00 for a filling and crown. She doesn't seem to know how to complete her job properly. They also did not inform me my dentist (the reason I chose this practice) had passed away. If I had known she was no longer there I would not have returned. I will not be returning to this practice ever again. The lack of professionalism was palpable.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and courteous. I love Dr. Anita Aebersold. She really took her time and she was very patient with me in explaining my dental care. I recommend her to anyone that needs any dental work done.

Positive experience: Loved my hygienist & physician. But the office manager needs major improvement. Especially when he’s quoting the law!!!! Not sure if it’s women thing or if he treats all like that. I may look for alternative places for my family.

Fantastic experience: Needed a more than a cleaning this time. Two fillings and a crown. I was very pleased, very nice people, very competent and knowledgeable. Painless, even though I am very nervous from experiences from long ago, this was a walk in the park. A win win from my POV.

Fantastic experience: I had my semi-annual teeth cleaning today. My previous dentist was with this dental group but passed away. I loved her and she was the only dentist I had seen in 30+ years. I was wary of staying at this office since Dr. A was gone. Jayden, the hygienist, and Dr Haney, both made me feel comfortable and were gentle. I’m staying!

Negative experience: I have been a patient for over 30 years, due to recent changes, with no notice I'm sad to say I will be looking for another dental office. Thank you Dr. Burton for being the best dentist ever, I am sad to hear that you are no longer a part of Arkansas Dental Centers.

Negative experience: Today was my last time going there. Was a patient for a decade but cannot support the new management. It’s not a good idea to give your money to a place that doesn’t really value the human side of a dental practice. The dental staff is top notch and I have always enjoyed going but the new management and manager…well let’s say it’s not for everyone. The condescending mansplaining is what got me to cancel future appointments.

Negative experience: When I first went here, I was so excited to finally find a dental office I can go to regularly, but unfortunately after my recent cleaning with the assistant I had. I have to change my rating and review. There's something off about this dental office-Cantrell that has changed now and I will be going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: 10/10/25 My return visit for my first crown was handled by Dr Haynie and dental hygienists Courtney and Stephanie. Once again they were kind, patient, and very professional - explaining to me exactly what was going on. They worked together as a cohesive team seamlessly. And the finished product wasperfect. If you are looking for a new dentist and/or hate going to the dentist due to past experiences, these are the guys for you. Thank you Dr Hanie, Courney and Stephanie, as well ad all the great office folks! Prior visit review: Great, friendly staff! Most thorough dental hygienist cleaning I've ever had. Positive experience: Did not feel like the staff took any kind of personal interest, although they seemed competent enough. Was not the same as when Dr. Burton and his staff were there.

Negative experience: Highly don’t recommend. They fired their dentist (Dr Burton) and all of their staff with no warning. I showed up for my appointment and they didn’t even notify me it was a new provider.

Fantastic experience: A deep scale cleaning can never be a pleasant experience. However, the good people at Cantrell Family Dental made it comfortable, friendly, and minimally painful. I think I have finally found my dental home.

Fantastic experience: I want to give a shoutout to the dental assistant, Robert, who worked with me today while I had a cavity filled. He was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable before the procedure, which really helped since I was nervous. Robert kept the conversation going and created such a welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience much less stressful. He’s a great example of the kind of care and professionalism that makes this office stand out.

Fantastic experience: Definitely knows their clients.I had to go in for a deep cleaning and the second half was better then the first half. Due to my pain tolerance. But overall it was great. Love the care they gave to me.

The dental hygienist was very sweet and informative as well as the dentist . Honestly the whole staff was patient even with all my questions ( insurance, care related)

The BAD PART is there was/is NO NOTICE of: Dr. BURTON AND STAFF NOT THERE; AND NO INFORMATION (even phone number to call) AS TO IF HE MOVED HIS PRACTICE OR HAS RETIRED. Dr. Burton my Dentist since about 2002: “THE BEST ‘’ DENTIST & DENTAL HEALTH CARE I EVER HAD, (2) !!!”

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Burton for over 20 years and was always impressed by the professionalism, care, and genuine concern by him, Kaci and Trisha. I was shocked and deeply disappointed to learn he is no longer with Arkansas Dental Group—and even more dismayed by how poorly the situation was communicated and handled. There was no notice, no explanation, and no regard for the patients who built a relationship with him and trusted him with their care. It's unfortunate that such a respected provider could be dismissed without transparency or consideration for those he served. This experience has left me questioning the priorities of this practice, and I will be looking for a new provider elsewhere.

Negative experience: There is always a wait. They admitted to double booking the schedule. Every single appointment to have work done, expect to wait 30-45 minutes before your appointment.

Negative experience: I am sad to edit my review but can’t in good conscience not make an update. After being Dr. Burton’s patient for over 25 years, I was sadly surprised to find out that he’s no longer there. Kacie, the best Hygienist ever, is gone, as are the other longtime staff. It’s my understanding that the corporation that owns the practice decided to clean house. There was no warning to patients of the changes. Instead, you find out when you go in for an appointment and find that you don’t recognize any of the staff. No phone call ahead of time alerting you to changes. Nothing. This corporation is incredibly unprofessional to do any of this, but it’s terribly upsetting that they would treat the employees so terribly and treat patients so poorly as well. That dental practice was built by those employees who were always so kind, friendly, and interested in their patients. My family will look for a new dentist now, which is sad, but also a lot of aggravation to have to spend time and energy making this change. My family has been coming to Dr. Burton for years now. We always feel well taken care of, & especially now, with all the concerns about Covid-19. Kaci is an awesome Dental Hygenist & makes every visit a wonderful experience. Dr. Burton is always so upbeat & friendly. They are the best!

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed in the recent changes at Arkansas Dental Center’s Cantrell location. Dr. Burton, hygienists Kacie and Karli, and assistant Trisha — the heart and soul of this office — are no longer employed here due to a corporate conglomerate takeover that has destroyed what was once a trusted, family-owned practice. What’s worse is that loyal patients were given zero notice of this complete staff overhaul. No email, no letter, no courtesy call — just a silent, sweeping change. If you’re scheduling an appointment expecting to see the familiar, caring faces from the Google photos, you need to know: none of them are there anymore. The photos are outdated and misleading. I have spent years driving from Conway to Little Rock specifically to receive care from this exceptional team. Their professionalism, consistency, and genuine care made them worth the trip every time. Now, that experience is gone, and I will not be returning. Patients deserve transparency — and this was handled with none.

Negative experience: I'm deeply disappointed to find myself writing this review. Our family has maintained a relationship with this practice for decades, specifically working with Kacie and Dr. Burton, who have provided excellent care throughout that time. However, recent corporate changes have fundamentally altered our confidence in this establishment. The decision to terminate long-standing staff members - professionals we've come to know and trust over many years - raises serious questions about the practice's priorities and values. What's particularly concerning is the apparent lack of communication regarding these significant changes that directly impact patient care and continuity. As patients, we expect transparency about changes that affect our healthcare experience. When established relationships with trusted staff are severed without explanation, it undermines the foundation of trust that medical care requires. While I genuinely appreciate the years of quality service we've received, these recent developments have unfortunately made it necessary for us to seek care elsewhere. It's a decision we don't take lightly, given our long history here.

Negative experience: Come to find out Dr Burton was LET GO and the clinic owners felt like they didn’t need to let his patients know. Dr. Burton has been taking care of my teeth for over 20 years! My daughter is the 5th generation of my family he’s cared for. Kasey and the rest of the staff are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming, but it’s upsetting that the best dentist is no longer there.

Negative experience: Went in today only to find out Dr Burton was let go last week. The new dentist didn't even evaluate me afterwords. This place was like a family and its sad to see all of the familiar faces gone and replaced with new. This office isn't worth the drive to Little Rock anymore. I have been seeing Dr Burton for 40 years and Im 40 years old! Kacie is second to none when it comes to dental hygenists!

Negative experience: Kacie is the best hygienist ever but I am so disappointed in the way they let go of Dr. Burton, he has been my dentist my entire life and I am so sad I will not be able to properly thank him for taking care of my family for over 40 years.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my recent visit. I had scheduled a dental appointment expecting to see my regular dentist, only to find out—without prior notice—that they are no longer with the practice. Instead, I was only seen by the hygienist, with no dentist follow-up or evaluation. I feel this lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable, especially when patients expect a certain standard of care. If there are changes in staffing, patients should be informed ahead of time so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Dr Burton is great too, never pushing unneeded procedures.

Fantastic experience: As in the past excellent care n perfection by the Dental Assistant who cleaned my teeth! She was courteous n thorough n also responsive to my request for a few extras like floss n mouthwash! She is a true professional n takes pride in her work, as again always in the past, n probably deserves a raise! No other dealings w the front desk neces as my insurance hadn’t changed. The DDs I met for this first time reviewed xrays n inspected n was also courteous n gave me an “all clear” report which I was relieved about.

Fantastic experience: Just came in this morning for a routine cleaning. My appointment was at 7 and my hygienist was right on time - which is very important for an impatient person. My visit was very pleasant and painless. I enjoyed the visit with my hygienist and she makes me look forward to my next appointment. Not many people say that after a dental visit. I have nothing but the highest praise for this office.

Negative experience: The dentist was over a half over late, then was confused about the work being done. When I asked to reschedule due to the confusion and being late. I was followed to the front desk and told I wasn’t able to speak about it and they don’t want to hear about it. I was told I can either shut up and reschedule or simply be done with them. Thanks for treating me like garbage. Glad to know I don’t have right to speak in this establishment. I didn’t cuss, yell or scream I simply stated I was unhappy and wanted to reschedule when they are ready. Guess they weren’t confident they could do it. Do yourself a favor and find a real dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Dr. Burton and Kaycie for over 24 plus years they are always professional gentle and personal all at once. The rest of the staff are also efficient, friendly and understanding,. Everyone combined makes it feel like a family reunion with favorite relatives; instead of a dental appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Anita Aebersold is one of the best. She treats all her patients like family, but this September 2024, I had an emergency with an infected tooth. I walked into the office without an appointment. From the moment I walked in, the whole staff was very attentive from the office to the treatment room. Dr. Aebersold was not available, so Dr. Riley stepped in to help. Thanks goodness she and nurse Robert saved me from an ER visit. I’m grateful to have a competent, and caring Dentist who cares about people not just doing a job.❤️

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr.Burton and his staff. I have been coming to this dentist office for over 20 yrs. It's hard to believe it's been that long, but when you have a dentist that truly cares about your teeth and not just about the money it makes all the difference. Most dentist will find problems just to stay in business, but this dentist always finds solutions on keeping your own teeth healthy, and saving them if they can be saved without doing much work. Love, love, love my dentist and his staff. My teeth are in great shape because I take care of them and get my routinely checkups every 6 months.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Little Rock it was challenging to find the right dentist. Dr. Burton's skill is an art-especially his no feel of the needle stick anesthetic technique. That was over thirty years ago. I am thrilled that I found Dr Burton, Kacie and the rest of his staff. They are the best. With all of my rushing around to get ready for the holidays, watching the “clouds” during yesterday’s cleaning appointment was a calm spot in my day.

Fantastic experience: I am a coward when it comes to dentists. Dr. A is very nice and friendly. She takes her time to explain what she is doing and talks you through every step of the process of your procedure. She and her assistant do their best to make sure that you are comfortable. Negative experience: Do not go here, run away. Poor service. Discrimination at it's best. I was addicted to pain killers in my past. I'm 9 years clean, but was honest about my past. I needed 12 teeth pulled, however, because I was honest about my past the only thing she (Dr. Riley) was going to give me was ibuprofen. AFTER 12 TEETH BEING PULLED. I walked out of there and will never be going back. It's sad when I would have gotten better care if I had lied about my past. I guess honesty is NOT the best policy. Save yourself the time and sanity and choose another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Burton is just the best! He and his staff are not only professionally at the top of their game, they get to know their patients! It doesnt matter if you are one of those calm patients or like me, a bit of a white a knuckles, you are in safe hands. His office staff is equally amazing!

Fantastic experience: Cantrell family dental definitely gives one of the most pleasant dental experiences I’ve had. Mary the hygienist always takes her time and is so gentle. She always explains what she’s doing as well. They treat me like they remember me every time I come in even though it will be 6 months between visits. I highly recommend this dentist office.
