Positive experience: Nice visit ,couldn't really get the dentures I wanted, payment plan to fast. But I'm returning to get cheaper ones.i really wanted the best but it can't be worked out.

We went in with our expectations low since we had been denied same day service at many places, they got us in and extracted 3 teeth same day and had amazing financing options, dr jefferson was amazing and the reception staff Johanna and Eddie were very helpful and all of the nurses that assisted. Negative experience: Had to pay for an X-ray that had nothing to do with my visit. Several years back I purchased dentures from Aspen. $4,000+. I was told these dentures were great. The teeth were heat set and would not come out. I have had one front tooth come out three times. It came out again this weekend - I missed a day of work due to this. No X-ray was needed to put the tooth back in. This is a rip off big time. Will report to the Business Bureau. No recommendations from me OR future service or purchases

The lady that attended to me most of my visit, I believe her name was Shameeka(I hope I spelled it right), was amazing and very professional with how she conducted herself. The Dentist i spoke with was very informative and clear about how we could proceed with my dental plan. Overall solid experience!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic due to poor communication and a lack of regard for patient comfort. 1. Administrative Negligence & Deceptive Pricing: I uploaded my insurance card a week in advance and called multiple times to ensure it was accepted. I was repeatedly told it was "in verification" and that I would know my status before my appointment. When I arrived, they still hadn't checked it, but the front desk assured me that even if it were rejected, the visit would only cost $29. Incredibly, they waited until I was literally in the middle of my checkup to finish the verification. An office staff member then informed me my insurance was actually a "discount plan" and wouldn't cover the treatment at all. It is completely unacceptable that I followed up for a week with no answers, yet they managed to find the "result" in the 30 minutes I was in the exam room. 2. Poor Clinical Experience: The X-ray process was unnecessarily painful. A trainee was performing the X-rays, which I wouldn't usually mind, but the senior assistant used my mouth as a slow-motion teaching prop. Those sensors are very uncomfortable, and I was forced to hold them in place for extended periods while the experienced assistant gave a lesson. My comfort was clearly not a priority. Between the administrative incompetence regarding insurance and the lack of consideration during the procedure, I will not be returning. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you value your time and physical comfort.

Negative experience: I had to stop the appointment while receiving the periodontal exam(where they poke around in the gums, which is apparently required to do anything there)due to excruciating pain. All I could taste was blood. I was there for a cavity that was causing me pain and wanted to do an extraction, instead I experienced more pain there than any dentist before...I'm 40 and have had 6 extractions(wisdom teeth included) so that should tell you something. They kept saying I know it's "uncomfortable", first off all of my periodontal exams were preformed by a dentist not an assistant and second I experienced so much pain I tried to climb up and out of the chair. To be clear, I am not afraid of dentists never have been. I would let all of my teeth rot out of my face before ever going back there. I will not be TOLD my pain is just being "uncomfortable ". Bedside manner is trash. Xray tech was awesome and understanding, I appreciate her.

Positive experience: I was told I needed a cleaning and a filling. They refuse to talk to me about the filling until I get the cleaning which is over my budget. Yes, they have financing but I have already used that for my husband's dental bills. The dental staff is friendly and helpful but the front desk staff needs some help. They need to understand that not everyone can afford $3000 for some simple dental work.

Negative experience: I went to Aspen Dental, Little Rock, for an emergent situation. Their signage and online advertisement states “Dental Emergency, We Got You!” This is comforting when you are actually having a dental emergency. What I was not prepared for was when I was shuffled back and given a full set of X-rays twice, met with the hygienist and the dentist, and evaluated for a partial. All I needed was antibiotics to address the emergent situation at hand. I was caught off guard to say the least. Not ready for the whole sales pitch. The front desk staff were courteous. The hygienist was courteous. The doctor was courteous. With that being said, I soon came to realize that I was being sold and entire dental plan including cleanings and extractions,a partial (I already knew what I needed) and a bridge - but that is not what I went for. Then I was handed over to the financial person (Eddie) who tried to get me to fill out a credit application without telling me what it was or even inquiring if I in fact wanted or needed to apply for credit and seemed surprised when I refused. Also his entire demeanor toward me changed when I did not agree to proceed with the entire treatment plan during my visit. REMINDER - I only went for them to treat the immediate issue. Their approach is excessive and a bit forceful - not what you want when your face is swollen and you’re in pain. I never said ‘let’s talk about a plan’. It was a lot to swallow and completely unexpected and so where they are concerned - I’m out. Upon my dismissal after I stated that I was not comfortable making that decision today, I was handed a “treatment plan” that only had the $ amount of the treatment but no actual itemization of what they thought I needed. I’ve never been to a dental office where they hand you a piece of paper with a dollar amount but no actual treatment listed! Do not recommend. I did get the antibiotic and all the staff (except Eddie the most assuming finanacial guy) and for this reason they get one star. Maybe they need to rethink their approach…

Negative experience: I went to the Little Rock office on Markham and everyone with the exception of Eddie was friendly and provided great service. However, Eddie the business manager is very rude and dismissive. He would benefit from some customer service training.

Negative experience: I was excited to see a dentist open on a Saturday wouldn’t have to miss work made the appointment so a couple people was saying how expensive they were in someone told me to make sure they run your insurance before I get there I had read several reviews that made me a little nervous so I decided to call ask some questions just know Eddie is rude smart mouth i was just asking a question about my insurance he had such attitude since he rude I just cancel my appointment. I can go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Clinical side absolutely fabulous, efficient, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. However, on the administration side EDDIE was rude, condescending, nasty and he is the reason for the 1 star. He was argumentative stating I did not have insurance- without checking and verifying I had insurance. I explained I have a premium dental plan. He stated "like I said here is your quote without insurance..o well you say you have it but we dont.. you shouldnt have scheduled so late". He stated I should have gave it to the lady at the front desk. I advised I had. He ignored my statement and insinuated I was unable to pay for my services. However he did not offer any options that I assume he is trained to inform people of such as CareCredit since there were brochures beside him. The dentist spoke with me and apologized on his behalf. After everything was verified, I had to speak with Eddie again- he did not offer an apology. His behavior became much WORSE! Extremely unapologetic. I did absolutely nothing to receive his ill treatment. My demeanor was calm and I brought it to his attention of his verbal and nonverbal disrespect. I informed it was alarming and unwarranted but he responded by purposefully mispronouncing my name repeatedly and sarcastically with a chuckle each time. Again clinical staff was AMAZING- I was ready to schedule my next visit UNTIL experiencing Eddie. He is a horrific representation of this facility. Although the dentist stated that is not normally the way he behaves- 1st impressions then a 2nd solidified for me that is definitely his norm perhaps just not with leadership. It is my sincere hope no one else is treated this way by Eddie- which is why I took the time to write this LONG review. I will still use Aspen just not the Markham Little Rock location. Eddie, life is tough enough and your mistreatment of people is unnecessary. You never know what people are going through-be kind its free and will take you places that your skill set and limited vocabulary surely will not.

I do recommend and urge anyone who has any oral concern to make this office your safe haven for addressing your dental needs and overall oral health care . They have the best receptionist I’ve ever met meaning the customer service, politeness, professionalism, and hospitality can’t be beat or found anywhere else. Also, the Office Manager Eddie himself apart from his behind the scenes work In effort to run an efficient dental practice following all protocol can also be seen and heard at the forefront of customer interaction and accommodations. They are very flexible and reasonable. Call ahead of time . Show your face Follow through with your appointments and you’ll see why I’m so satisfied in their care. Initial rates/ charges are very inexpensive. You’ll be all set with insurance, but if not only a standard minimum fee of $29 flat fee. will get you squared away, not to mention payment plan options for future visits. They go above and beyond for those needing a helping hand and want a great Smile. High octave office . Appointments are critical and ensure that your time nor theirs are wasted and the visit will be a walk in the park on a sunny day. What more can I say book an appointment Today.

Negative experience: Homeless folks malingering around the parking lot. Dead insects on floor in lobby. Walls covered in black smudges and chipped paint. The office is freezing come to the point I was shivering. Girl did xrays and was unaware I had recently had xrays sent over from kanis dental. was told its included in the exam. Dr looked in my mouth for under 30 seconds. Only looked at the one problem tooth which was my main reason for visiting and did not look at any other teeth.That was the extent my exam. Left feeling horrible. Came in on new patient $30 exam offer. Some guy implied the bill was going to be $135.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here!! The number of X-rays taken was appropriate for clinical care — I’d seen reviews mentioning excessive scans, but that wasn’t my experience at all. The staff had fabulous bedside manner and clinical skills. They were kind, attentive, and asked thoughtful, specific questions to better understand my dental health and concerns. Scheduling was also easy — they offered next-day availability for both treatment and cleanings after my initial assessment. Would definitely recommend based on my visit.

Negative experience: STICKER SHOCK...and its all about selling the upside rather than what one can afford. Financing doesn't hear what you can afford rather its YOU NEED THIS. I do not like to be upsold and feel bad walking out the door that what they offer is beyond your means (which is why it was offered in the first place). The techs were pleasant and empathetic...then came "you'll go broke doing this or you just not have teeth like a respectable hillbilly". Don't know if I can walk back thru their doors again when the deductible is more than my coverage. They could have adjusted my options but just chose not to.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Markham location and the service was phenomenal! First off the guy at the front desk was very polite, the x ray tech was awesome! I had virtually no waiting time thought the whole process every phase was steady. When I went back for my cleaning, let me tell you that Caitlyn (I hope I spelled that right) was the best dental hygienist I've ever had. She was sooo easy to talk to, very personable, literally just one of the girls!! I love her and then when I got my fillings done Dr. Jefferson was so sweet, she explained as she worked, numbed me good didn't feel a thing and she was fast!!!! And then can't forget about Eddie!!! He was awesome! Explained the costs of everything and worked with me on the scheduling to get in quickly. Overall I've never had a dentist office make me feel this comfortable and welcomed. I really love their team! I will definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends

Positive experience: I felt a little discouraged about my denture. I didn't like the dentist comment about the natural aspect of my dentures. I realize 5 yrs ago that my teeth are false. I don't need the content reminder of it. I am still uncomfortable with this issue. I was made uncomfortable again, I was really displease. The team other than that was Great!

Fantastic experience: My schedule is extremely busy and my time is very limited. These fine people were able to fit me in with the very limited time I have free. The ladies at this office are extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. That meant a lot to me. My previous experiences at dentist offices made me feel like Dustin Hoffman's character in Marathon Man. Comparatively speaking, visiting this office was like a trip to Disneyland. 10/10 These will be the folks I see from here on out.
