The front office staff of Melissa and Suronica always do their best to get you in as soon as needed. The hospitality of all the employees exceeds any of my previous dental experiences. Fantastic experience: 10/14/2025 I had to fill out paperwork as if I had never been to Woodland Heights Family Dental. This is Marian and I have been a patient for many years. Maybe you could go digital and update records more efficiently. Then I waited 30 minutes to be seen by the dental hygienist. Chastity did a good job. No music. No personal conversation from Dr Lane. Efficient but impersonal. Never got a reschedule text, need a new appointment date. 7/7/2020 Had a very pleasant dental checkup, with full set of x-ray images, cleaning and polishing. 7/21/2021 I had another great checkup with Holly and Dr.Lane. The one experience I missed was actually getting to see my x-rays. The cleaning and polishing process was very thorough. 1/26/2022 Another thorough checkup by Whitney and Dr. Lane. Next time I’ll get yearly x- rays and a fluoride treatment . Missed the Muzak some, but forgot to ask if it was a random change today vs a planned permanent change. 8/9/2022 Still another easy checkup with x-rays and fluoride treatment. Excellent dental hygienist. 11/7/22 Had a upper right molar crown repair/ replacement after the crown popped off while flossing 11/3/22. This time the new crown was made on-site, and in 90 min I had a new crown cemented on. Both Dr Lane and a new hygienist did their work carefully. 2/13/2023 My 6 month checkup was straightforward with no problems. My hygienist made it easy for me. 10/1/2025 My 6 month checkup was performed completely by a substitute dentist. A upper right cracked crown was noted, for crown repair when Dr. Lane returns.

Fantastic experience: Ann (or Anne, not sure how she spells it) was such a skilled and pleasant hygienist and nobody made me feel bad that it had been a while. I feel like I'm in excellent hands here. I honestly can't recommend them enough

Negative experience: Rescheduled my appointment without telling me from 10am to 7:10am. I scheduled for this time as I live over an hour away and carpool with my girlfriend as we both work in Little Rock. I didn't find out until a couple days prior and when I called they said that someone was out and they couldn't see me at 10. I said I will try to make this time as I had already arranged for the 10 o'clock time. The day of the cleaning I called to let them know I would be 20 mins late to which they replied I would have to be seen at a later day due to policy. I explained that I lived over an hour away and that the time had been changed without my consent or knowledge. They then said I could try—completely unacceptable— to see if they would let me in even though it was an error on their part and I explained it would be hard for me to make the 7:10am. I replied "Just forget it" as I had already wasted my gas, time, and energy. Also, there was a credit from a procedure that they had kept for over 9 months that I was unaware of in the amount of over $300. I was told I could request a check. Why would you not immediately send my money back and keep a credit?

Fantastic experience: The staff was so friendly and caring. They treated me as if I was the only patient they had at that time. They answered all of my questions that I had. They were very polite efficient and timely.

Positive experience: Early this week, I visited the dentist for an appointment and was dissatisfied with the service as the dentist seemed hurried, unprepared and mishandled the water flosser, getting me wet; I would rate her 6/10.

Fantastic experience: My experience was way better than I could have expected. I was worried that I would be in pain since I had to get a root canal, a crown, and some fillings. Dr. Lane assured me that I wouldn't feel any pain and he was right. I didn't feel a thing. I appreciate Dr. Lane and his assistant that helped him.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever! Dr Lane and his staff have always been wonderful to my family! They are completely judgement-free, and go to every length possible to make sure you are not in any pain and are comfortable throughout each procedure/process. I needed extensive work, I was always so embarrassed with my teeth. I needed some cosmetic work too, and will never forget walking out with my new veneers crying like a baby. I still get compliments regularly, years later. Dr. Lane is still taking care of me and the fam, and is just as down-to-earth and caring as ever.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient to Woodland Heights Family Dental, and I had a little anxiety during my first visit. As I walked to the window to sign in, I was greeted with smiles and “how are you’s.” I sat down to do my paperwork, and enjoyed the Christian music that was playing. I knew then that I was at the right place. Dr. Lane is such a knowledgeable, friendly dentist. He sat down, and explained everything. I didn’t feel rushed or nervous talking to him. I have never liked going to the dentist, but my over-all experience at WHFD was great!!!

I mentioned that I need to go to another appointment right after my visit as per their time estimate and they even finished earlier. Dr. Lane is very competent and efficient. His good example to his staff can be seen from the front office personnel to the clinicians. We continue to come to this clinic even if we are coming from out of state. It is very difficult to find honest, competent and trustworthy dental service providers nowadays. My family and I have been patients here for at least 15 years now.
