I recently had a filling that I was extremely nervous about, and both Dr. Metzger and the hygienist were incredibly patient and reassuring. They explained everything they were doing step by step, which made the entire process feel calm and manageable. I felt genuinely cared for the whole time. I highly recommend Dr. Metzger and the entire team!

Fantastic experience: I have been a dentist for 38 years and now am retired and I want you to know that I highly recommend this office. Dr Kyle Eberhardt is a very skilled, knowledgeable, and competent dentist and the entire team is also very skilled and professional. My treatment was for a molar crown. The tooth was prepared, scanned, milled, glazed, polished, and seated in the same appointment. I had no discomfort whatsoever, honestly I didn't even feel the injection at all. Believe me, I know how patients can be apprehensive about going to the dentist, it is perfectly normal to feel that way, but I know at this office you will feel comfortable and at home. The office is very clean, organized and truly is modern dentistry at its best. I had a very pleasant experience. As a dentist, I am Highly recommending them for your dental care.

Fantastic experience: genuinely a great dentist. i just moved here & was desperately searching for a dentist; i had gone to one prior who said i had gingivitis among other issues and immediately charged me $500. i found Eberhardt on a whim and it completely blew me away!! incredible staff at the front desk & the dentist gave me clear and concise answers and advice. if you’re looking for a new dentist, this one is great, no doubt.

Negative experience: I’ve only been working with them since February but it’s been such a waste of my time. I keep getting sent to other professionals to evaluate my teeth to see if work can be done. What’s the point of seeing a dentist who literally can’t make any damn decisions himself. I swear this man has never actually done anything to help me. When I had initially came in about a tooth he brushed it off and wanted to focus on other areas. That same tooth now has more issues! Doesn’t know if he can do anything so wants to send me for a second opinion. At this point I don’t think he even knows what’s he’s doing and went elsewhere. Within that one sitting at a different dentist office I got everything I needed and plus more. I honestly suggest you don’t go here. They seem money hungry and not genuinely trying to help. Waste of my time and money.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at the office about 10 years. I had an appointment for a cleaning on July 31,2024. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did not remove all the plaque, didn’t rinsed my mouth in the process of the cleaning. Dr. Eberhardt didn’t do a thorough examination of my teeth nor was my X-ray visible like in the past. He didn’t look at the X-rays until I told him about the chip on my tooth and that’s the only one tooth he looked at and stated it was ok because it’s on the enamel but the chip is on the filling. I went to another dentist and it was polished so it wouldn’t be sharp and wanted to make sure everything was ok with my teeth. I spoke to his secretary and she stated she would have him give me a call and I haven’t received a call. Therefore, I left him a email stating if he had a problem with me he should have discontinued my services before this visit so I could have went elsewhere, which I did. Thanks for the services prior to this one.

Vanessa is absolutely awesome & so sweet - Dr Eberhardt is professional but funny and a normal, relatable person. Also so much technology and current knowledge of the available treatments & techniques. I’m doing this review bc I have talked to many people who have had bad experiences with irreversible consequences in terms of their teeth. You can feel safe coming to this practice!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit! It was amazing. I'll start my saying I'm one of those weirdos that love going to the dental hygienist for a cleaning. I had some trouble with my insurance prior to coming in and everything was taking care of with very little hassle. No wait when I arrived and the front desk staff was very nice. Then I get to talk to my awesome hygienist, Julie. I was offered to choose the music of my choice for my room! Julie was super nice, walked me through everything she was going and offered ample knowledge for better practices I can do at home. I was very impressed with her work and easy conversation. Dentist came in and he was very nice and spoke with complimentary respect to Julie. All in all, excited to be back in 6 months!

Negative experience: I’ve left 2-3 inquiries requesting an appointment and have received no response. Guess they don’t want new patients. Wouldn’t recommend.. doesn’t feel welcoming at all. Even if they tried to call back it’d just be awkward at this point. Racism?? Who knows. Update: I see the company has responded. I have gone on your website, filled out the little form three times. The first, I did receive a response, I had an urgent matter and she told me the first appt is only a assessment then can schedule cleaning or fill later after doctor gives recommendation. So I went to my usual dentist and got in right away but later filled out form two more times, as I was considering switching, and like I said. I haven’t received any response. I find it hard to believe that you don’t have any record, instead, just admit you decided you didn’t want me as a patient since I didn’t want to schedule a assessment appt as I was dealing with severe pain. Truth always win ;)

Negative experience: I'm in Akron on a business trip. The filling fell out of the tooth. I was looking for a dentist with good reviews. Visited August 23 in the morning. X-ray photo of the tooth was with me. I ask if they can put a filling in the tooth, I want to pay in cash. The administrator said you have to pay 172 dollars for the doctor to look at the picture. I asked if they could just put a filling in the tooth, I will pay only for the filling. The administrator answered - no, in addition to the cost of a seal of 250-450 dollars, in any case, you have to pay an additional 172 dollars for an appointment. Sounds pretty weird. If the insurance company pays, then all right, for the insurance company they came up with adding another 172 dollars to the services. But I do not recommend visiting a doctor who, in addition to fillings, adds $ 172 per appointment. Upd: I read the response to the review and assumed that I misunderstood. I went again on August 29 to clear up a misunderstanding (as written by the owner in response to the review). The administrator repeated the same thing, that 172 dollars must be paid in any case. She also called the doctor and said that the doctor would come to me in two or three minutes. However, the doctor did not come out within 40 minutes. She just chose to ignore. Please note - in case of misunderstanding, the doctor will hide from you and ignore you.

Although visits to the dentist are not necessarily things one looks forward to, it makes going to the dentist so much more pleasurable. Dr. Eberhardt and staff keep you completely updated on options and procedures and they are as kind as they are efficient and professional. I am so glad I am a patient there and recommend them highly!

I mainly dislike going to the dentist because the staff want to practically berate you for not being able to make it in on time & having issues. Nope! They are comforting and share their plan thoroughly & in terms that you can understand. Very optimistic about maintaining your teeth’s health.
