Negative experience: the Dr was in a very bad mood said he couldn’t do anything because i couldn’t open wide enough. same Dr that did the examination prior to my appointment. Waisted time!

Negative experience: This place is terrible. I’ve been waiting for two hours—twice as long as my scheduled appointment—and now they’re telling me I have to wait yet another hour. I am going to file a formal complaint.

Negative experience: This is, without a doubt, the worst dental office I have ever visited. I arrived exactly on time for my appointment, but they kept me waiting for two hours. However, if I had been two hours late, they would have charged me a $40 fee. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to patients’ time. I am considering filing a formal complaint and reporting this place to the California Dental Board. I do not recommend this office.

She also carefully placed my medication on my molars and explained everything clearly. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Negative experience: Dental Talent - Ranch Cucamonga, CA THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE. I HAD A NIGHTMARE WITH THEM. I WENT IN ON WEDNESDAY WITH PAIN. THE DENTIST TOLD ME I NEEDED A DEEP CLEANING AND THAT I HAD AN INFECTION IN MY GUMS. ON THURSDAY, THEY DID THE DEEP CLEANING AND APPLIED ANTIBIOTICS. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PAIN WOULD GO AWAY AND GRADUALLY DECREASE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. BUT ON FRIDAY, I CALLED THEM BECAUSE THE PAIN WAS WORSE, AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE DENTIST WANTED TO MONITOR MY PROGRESS AND SEE HOW I WAS IMPROVING. THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR TUESDAY, BUT I COULDN'T STAND THE PAIN; IT WAS TOO STRONG. I JUST WANTED MONDAY TO ARRIVE SO I COULD GO AND GET THE CORRECT TREATMENT TO RELIEVE THE PAIN BECAUSE IT WAS TOO MUCH. MONDAY ARRIVED. WHEN THEY OPENED, I WENT IN AND TOLD THEM THAT THE PAIN WAS TOO STRONG, THAT I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, AND THEY LET ME SEE THE DENTIST. BUT IT WAS A TOTAL FAILURE. HE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO BE MORE PATIENT, THAT THE TREATMENT HE HAD GIVEN ME WAS THE CORRECT ONE, AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE DAYS TO IMPROVE. And he told me to brush my teeth with Sensodyne toothpaste, but I told him that I was taking two 600 mg pills and they weren't doing anything for the pain, that the pain was even stronger, and that I needed him to give me a solution. And to my surprise, he sent me to another dentist to evaluate my problem, but I had already paid him $780. What were we going to do, because I had paid him to fix the problem, but his diagnosis was wrong. The dentist got angry and spoke to me very unprofessionally and rudely, as did his secretary. They tried to explain things, but in the end, I told them, "I came here for a problem, but you didn't solve it. You gave me the wrong diagnosis." I beg you, please don't put your health in the wrong hands.

Fantastic experience: I drive almost two hours to see Dr. Botrous, and it’s completely worth it! He’s kind, patient, thorough, and always takes the time to educate me about my oral health. The office is clean, and his staff is just as kind and professional. I developed dental anxiety after getting some poor cavity fillings in the past, but when I went to Dr. B to have them fixed, I’ve been pain-free ever since and everything went back to normal. My family and I will continue to make the trip to see Dr. Botrous — he’s truly worth it.

Fantastic experience: My first review didn’t post so I am adding to it. Dentistry is still not my favorite adventure. Overall the people who work at this office are good. I was fortunate this time to get Regina of the the gentle hands again, but all of their hygienists are good. I would recommend this office. We’re recent transplants to this area and this was my first visit to Talent Dental and Dr. Botrous. These people were great. Both ladies at the front desk were professional, helpful and very friendly. Corina was amazing; she had more patience with my insurance system than I ever did and handled that end of my visit expertly. Dr. Botrous’s exam was thorough and he explained his findings and recommendations and grouped them into levels of importance. My second visit was with Regina, the hygienist. She explained things as she went along and had very gentle hands. Dental work is not one of my favorite things. But this office made me feel comfortable, at ease and the overall experience was a good one.

The Dr's assistant did not give any instructions but Sara gave me post operative instruction, what about if I do not know how to read.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to this office many times, every time I leave pain free and happy specially I’m one of those people who negligent when it comes to dental health and I was not a big fan of going to dentist until I went to Talent dental. Every time Dr/Boutrus make sure to explain to me the treatment very well he provide his advices , recommendations and then I decide what I want to do. One time I had bad tooth decay and I requested dental extraction and grafting because I didn’t want to go through root canal procedures pain ( my insurance plan pay way more for grafting and implants ) however Dr/ Boutrus recommended root canal, keeping original teeth since I don’t have any medical issue and as he promised I didn’t feel that much pain and he saved my original tooth clean strong and very healthy . I’m grateful for such professional honest quality care I had and I highly recommended .

Fantastic experience: I have been wanting veneers for YEARS now i came upon talent dental. I was nervous at first to get my veneers but I took the chance because the pricing was affordable. Lets just say Im very happy with my veneers they look so natural and real which what I was nervous about. Doctor knows what he's doing and really listens to what you want. Staff was very accommodating and professional. Definitely recommend this place for your veneers and dental services.

Fantastic experience: The reason I actually make it to the dentist now and take care of my teeth is because of this dentist office and the staff. I highly recommend this place for Nuerodiverse Moms & Dad's or any individual especially with Adhd Add or Rejection sensitivity or anxieties. I'll tell you why... They send reminders via TEXT not once or twice multiple times inlcuding the day of. And they ALSO call to remind you, a day or two before. AND they will also call you the morning of your appt if you are running behind to see if you will still make it. They don't just wait for you not to show up. They do not shame you or make you feel awful for forgetting or mismanaging your schedule, they just nicely ask if another time or day works. I have rescheduled my appointment multiple times in the same week *with reason, ok Im not taking advantage of them. I have so much anxiety and the reason I stopped going to the dentist years ago is bc I was afraid to face yet another missed appointment. They also will do their very best to fit you in. In fact the front office called another client to see if it was OK to switch with me if they didn't mind. The reason I thought to leave this review is I was checking my text and I realized my dentist appt this am says it was at 9am not 930 as I put it on my calendar. I showed up at 930am not 9am which was my appt time. And they didn't bat an eye. They didn't make me feel bad nothing. I'm sure if they couldn't have squeezed me in they would have let me know nicely, but it wasn't necessary so they acted like I was right on time when I was 30 mins late. I just realized it now 3 hours later. I just appreciate them so much. They have no idea of my nuerodiversity that's just how they are. And the dentist him self he is good at what he does. Dont expect a lot of small talk, he is there to get his job done and that's what he does, me and my family are just fine with it. Some dentists talk about your weekend and hobbies but won't even remember you when you come back. He knows your teeth and takes care to do proper work on them They also work with all of my kids. Sarah and Stephanie are so pleasant. Sorry for the long post. Just want to encourage people to not skip the dentist and find a good fit like I have. I tend to forget things from moment to moment so even with all the reminders (which is the only way I would make it) I can still overlook a time or date or confused them or alltogether forget from other distractions even if reminded the day before. Sometimes I put things on my calendar wrong like today. So it helps knowing they will keep making sure ei get scheduled without judgement or looks.

Negative experience: stephanie scheduled an appointment with me today at 5:00 and I go an and it wasnt scheduled? zero communication skills, zero customer service skills from both STEPHANIE AND MARIA. im upset because i took the time out of my day, made my mom call off WORK, to drive to their practice with what i was told. terrible.

I was with another Dentist but was having issues with a particular tooth and the solutions that other places gave me seemed expensive and complicated. Dr. Matta Botrous solved my issue in an efficient way and since then, I changed my dentist to him and my family and I have been happy customers for several years. The lady that does teeth cleanings does a thorough job. I felt that other places did a horrible job with my teeth cleanings (rushed the process, lack-luster effort, etc.). Also, other places would charge me an arm and a leg, Talent Dental never tries to gauge me and they are very reasonable with everything dealing with money. I’ve been through the ringer with other dental places and ever since I found Talent Dental - I’ve been super happy! Hooray for Peace of Mind with regard to Dental Service!! :-)

Negative experience: I warn you do not come here, i called jan 1st to let them know of severe tooth pain that put me in the ER for 7 hours. Doctors said it was tooth related, so i called them to make the appointment and they told me just waiting on approval by insurance. Six weeks go by and no call . So i call after not being able to take it, they tell me .. i never set up any appointment. Then they back track when i show them proof of my calls list and voicemail they left back. Worst part yet they then say “dont worry we already submitted to insurance and to come in next week “ . Funny enough i called my insurance provider … they told me talent dental never submitted anything. Right now i just came to see them , and after all this madness they simply send me out to someone else. After telling me how i would be taken care of today by them. Instead i got told to kick rocks basically and left with all the pain. Do not send anyone you care about here unless you want them to Suffer. Message me for proof

Negative experience: This is my third appointment at Talent Dental. Each time I have had to wait one hour to be called back. Today, I got to my appointment early. I still waited over an hour and then another 30 minutes in the back to be seen by anyone. I informed them I was waiting for 1 hr and 30 minutes and I was going to leave if I was not seen. Fortunately, I was finally seen. I understand if it’s busy then at least give me an honest answer so I can reschedule. The dentist is kind. Too bad the wait is too long.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended me that place and personal experience exceeded my expectations by far! I’d 4 fillings, cleaning and veneers. No long waiting although being super busy. Cleaning was gentle and efficient veneers looked super awesome although I was really hesitant to do it but that skillful dentist Mata he really did a great job, I’m really happy the way they look. I’m always careful choosing a dentist cause it’s NOT an easy fix if anything goes wrong! And definitely that place will be my permanent go . My only take on though is that they’re always fully booked a week ahead!

I appreciated the honesty and I know I’m not being told to complete a bunch of unnecessary work. Be prepared to wait they’re not on time with appointments.

Negative experience: I visited talent dental clinic in March 2023 ,and i had a crack in my tooth number 8 .the dentist named Matta Botros ,told me that it had to be extracted and A new tooth implanted as soon as possible .he gave me a bill for $3,300 for the installation ,including everything ,i paid from my pocket because my insurance doesn’t cover this procedure.after removing the tooth , i went to another dentist and heard his medical opinion .he told me that it was possible to treat the tooth instead of making of A new implant.i completed the installation and later discovered that after asking my insurance to pay part of the cost . I later learned that they had paid $401.32 to Dr matta talent dental office . When i asked for this amount ,he refused and asked me not to come to clinic again .if you to complain, go and do whatever you want .please be careful, and this place is completely Dishonest, so I don’t recommend this place to visit

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Talent Dental for approximately 3 years. I have even referred my friends and family who have now been going to Talent Dental for about a year now. I had a normal teeth cleaning appointment scheduled on 8/24/2023 at 4PM. I called Talent Dental to let them know I was running 30-45 minutes late and they said it was not a problem. I then called a second time because I was going to be later than the 30-45 minutes so as to be considerate to Talent Dental and other patients to see if they were still willing to see me or if it would just be easier to re-schedule and the lady that answered the phone was scolding me and gave me a "warning" and rudely said that this was my first and final "warning" and if I was ever late again and or needed to re-schedule I would be charged a fee from now on moving forward on any appointments in the future. I was taken back by the way I was being talked to as a consumer/patient and stated that if my business and referrals were not appreciate I would take my business elsewhere and the lady again rudely responded and encouraged me to go elsewhere. I asked to speak to a manager (in hopes that I could express my loyalty as a patient and concern about how the lady that answered the phone was talking to me) and the same lady said the manager was busy and would call me back. I waited for a call back and a manager did not call me. I called again after waiting and spoke to the same lady yet again asked if there was someone higher than the manager that was supposed to call me back and the lady stated the manager Sarah was the owner and that Sarah would call me back. As of today 8/30/23 I still have not got a call back. In my opinion as a consumer there is a certain level of professional courtesy and integrity that any company that you are a customer of should maintain and the lack of customer service and lack of integrity demonstrated by Talent Dental after being a customer for 3 years is mind blowing.

Negative experience: Terrible wait time. Do expect to wait hour(s) on your visit. Came in for a regular check up and waited 30 mins in the waiting room and an additional hour for the doctor.. just for an x ray and for the doctor to tell me I had no cavities.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time going to this office for work being done. Everyone is so nice. Very happy with the work being done and the dentist and staff being so good especially with how sensitive my teeth and gums are. They truly lessen my fear going here. They’re a bit obsessed with sending out so many reminders even as I sat in the office the day of my appointment after being checked in a few minutes early , I received a text . That’s the least of my worries. It’s all good.
