Assure Dental of Ontario

Positive experience: I hate going to the dentist and I felt I had finally found a good dentist. So far everything seemed fine. I was scheduled for extraction of 3 wisdom teeth because thats all I have. I called to get an estimate of my co-pay and the lady gave me a rough estimate of over $1500 not sure if that was before billing my insurance because back in Nov when I was supposed to get this done I had been given a completely different amount. To top it off I kept being told the estimate was for 4 wisdom teeth when I only have 3. The girl kept saying 4 so I asked if she had the right person and she said yes and I immediately told her it all sounded sketchy and to cancel my appt. Now ill probably ly be charged the $100 for canceling within the 48 hours but how am I being given an estimate for teeth I dont even have!!! Idk if ill be back for my cleanings.

Fantastic experience: Have to say every single time I have came here the staff has made it easy and convenient to adjust to times I request. Recently went in for orthodontics appointment as well and from previous dental visits till current ortho visit all staff had been very generous and kind but have to say Erica in specific has excelled in her customer service ensuring all my financial questions were answered. Couldn’t be any happier with this place and will definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: So they are lying to you about your insurance whether if it is network or not. I made an appointment with them because they had an event at my company. I asked the person attending the event if they were in network, they said yes . Then, 5 days before my appointment, i called their office and asked again if they can check if my insurance is within network, they said yes again. Cool, i believed them. 2 weeks later i was billed $500 for all those things that I was recommended to do during my appointment. I checked my coverage, my bill could’ve been half of that if it was in network. What a shady business. I do not recommend going here. My co worker told me to check with my insurance first before going to any dental because apparently all dental offices are shady as heck!!! Learned my lessons.

Negative experience: If I can give them a -5 I would. You guys can shred my paperwork i will never do business with you. As a new patient that knows alot about teeth from my family, you guys are scamming innocent people that dont have money to begin with. Let me go ahead anf let you guys know. 1. My crown had came off on Sunday 11/9. Went in next day for emergency appt. 2. Asked me how long I've had it told them it was a very very old crown, metal filling on top of tooth and inside of the crown. Red flag number 1 they never said that they do not do metal filling anymore so it would have been even more of a concern to actually look and make sure my tooth has not decayed. 3. Didnt clean off the cement from the crown to make sure it fit properly from the next day. Made appt Monday morning to come in same day, doc said it did not "fit" anymore. 4. I have really good insurance with allowance. Told me it would have been $1,700 with insurance. With insurance should have been $126 out of pocket, recently had a root canal and crown back in July with my Primary. 2nd red flag, by that time my mind was set it was a big big no no from me. 5. Never touched the tooth to make sure it was not decayed. Instead I needed new molding, filling, and a new crown for $1,700 out of pocket "with insurance". 6. Then proceeded with we can do payment plans told them no, the chick looked like she was concerned saying are you sure, told her yup I'm sure. 7. Asked if I wanted a deep clean same day. Another red flag, that was the last straw. Didnt ask or let my insurance know what was going to happen with my teeth. They dont get back to you till about a couple days later or so depending on what needs to be done, to approve any work that will be done on your teeth. 8. All in all nice staff but scammed all around. -Went to my primary, they cleaned the cement fit perfectly fine, my tooth was in fact decayed and they will go ahead and work on my teeth with the allowance my insurance has given me with a deep clean right after the new filling and crown is completed. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m beyond thrilled with my experience at Assure Dental in Ontario! I’ve been on a long orthodontic journey with them, starting with braces and now transitioning into Invisalign and I can honestly say the care and results have been incredible. While there were a few bumps in the process, every concern was addressed with patience and professionalism, especially by the amazing office manager, Roxanna (I’ll update this if I got the name wrong!). I was so overwhelmed with joy after seeing my progress that I actually cried! As someone who’s always in front of a camera for work, having a smile I feel confident about is a huge deal, and the team at Assure Dental really came through. Thank you for your dedication, support, and for helping me feel my absolute best. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was treated for a tooth infection caused by previous dentist. Update: After a couple of appointments, I wish that I could give 10 stars. Can confirm they clean after each vist. The dentist takes time to explain everything in detail and address my concerns. Most importantly, to me is they won't do something that isn't needed just to make money. Office staff is also very kind and helpful. They gave me a break down of payments for a tooth implant and explained each payment.

Fantastic experience: A week before Christmas, I’m 1800 miles from home, my dentist is closed until after new year, Assure actually got me in next day for a crown adhesion! The staff was so nice, super professional, I couldn’t have been more satisfied! The best part is they were super affordable, I’d recommend them to anyone, not as common an experience as it should be, thank you guys!

Negative experience: The customer service is horrible the dr.s are trying to add all these extra charges for services you do not need I recommend going to a different dentist to compare what they tell you, you need done. Trust me its sounded crazy to me but I was shocked so glad I didnt go through with all the services they told me my son needed. If I could rate them a zero and blast them on how horrible they try to add services your child needs when they dont need.

Fantastic experience: Upon walking in, the receptionist greeted me and my son with a smile. She was friendly and processed us quickly. The dentist, Dr. Addison is amazing! He took time to make sure I understood what concerns he had and the procedure that I needed. He was also very gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. His assistant was also extremely nice and helpful during the process. Danny was the best! He went over the finances and gave me options on what we could do. My son and I both agreed Danny made it feel less like a trip to the dentist. Even the receptionist at the end worked hard to accommodate our schedule for the next visit. Overall, ALL of the staff was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome. They did a great job on our teeth. Great experience! I would recommend Dr. Addison to my family, friends, and coworkers.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Assure Dental since last year and every visit has been like I have known everyone like forever. The entire staff greets you with kindness. I have had bad experiences with dental care and for this reason have chosen to not go. However, we know having pain from your teeth will send you running to the dentist. My first appointment I was so nervous and scared,. I shared my phobia with the staff and they took me under their wings like mother hens caring for their babies. It didn’t stop there, every visit I receive the same loving care from everyone. The office Manager, that Queen is so beautiful and her welcoming spirit puts you step at ease. Fantastic experience: I went to assure dental for the first time last week & my experience was quite pleasant. For starters, the receptionist was very courteous when checking me in. She didn’t seem rushed to get back to what she was previously doing by throwing a clipboard at me & telling me that I need to complete the forms. Further, I was surprised not to have to wait well beyond my appointment time to get seen, as it’s typical and most dental offices. The doctor‘s assistant was very friendly & in taking x-rays she was concerned that the manner in which she placed the equipment was not painful. Neither did I have extended wait for the doctor to arrive. He was prompt & efficient. He explained the status of my needs in detail. When the manager came in she wrapped up everything in a nice red bow; giving me the costs in the manner in which I could make payment. It was a very good dental experience. I would recommend this office to my friends
