Fantastic experience: My experience at Smile Select Dental was excellent. I was well informed about exactly what was going to happen throughout the procedure, which helped me feel comfortable and at ease. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional, from the front desk staff to the dentist and dental assistant. I believe the dentist’s name was Dr. James, and although I can’t remember the dental assistant’s name, she was amazing as well. Overall, it was a really great experience. I felt very welcomed, the procedure went smoothly, and I did not feel any pain. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for an excellent dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to get my cleaning, and talk about other work i needed done. Of course also about the finances, the great part was they worked with me to get the work started so financially and physically it wouldn’t create a bigger expensive and problem for me. Thank you to the manager for helping me, getting everything set up for me. I appreciate everyone in that office for their help.

Negative experience: Leslie has the worst customer service skills. She was very rude and argumentative, not listening to the patients concerns. When asked for pain medication, she advised patient that since they will not have tooth pulled, due to the dentists botched root canal and crown procedure, they are not responsible for prescribing medication and for the patient to take over the counter pain medication that will amount to 800mg. Taunted patient as they were exiting the building as if to in-site an altercation.

Negative experience: I would strongly caution anyone considering this dental office. I was presented with very high treatment costs without clear justification, and it felt like my situation was being used to push expensive procedures. After seeking a second opinion elsewhere, the recommended treatment was far less extensive and nearly half the price. Experiences like this undermine trust in healthcare providers. Patients deserve honest assessments and transparent pricing not pressure during a vulnerable moment. I recommend getting another opinion before agreeing to treatment here.

Negative experience: Terrible !! Do not come!! I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. The pricing lacked transparency, and I felt pressured into treatment costs that were significantly higher than estimates I later received elsewhere. After seeking a second opinion, I was quoted nearly half the amount for similar care, which raised serious concerns about fairness and trust. Patients deserve clear explanations, ethical recommendations, and time to make informed decisions especially when they are already in discomfort. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to research thoroughly and consider obtaining a second opinion before proceeding with treatment here. Aka don’t come here you’ll be ripped off because their greedy!!

I have to admit, I was a little skeptic seeing how young all this team is but so profesional and skilled and absolutely pain free for me, considering the complexity of the work: bridge&crown removal, extraction, bone graft, surgery and abces cleaning. Fantastic experience: I recently had to switch Dentists due to Medicare insurance. I was apprehensive and nervous about going to a new Dentist. Delta Dental assigned me to this Dentistry since it’s around the corner from my residence. My fears were unfounded. Dr. Myra Mungia was an amazing Dentist. She is very personable and highly skilled. The staff here is amazing as well. Very friendly and very helpful. I had to have two molars extracted that decayed under the crowns. Not an easy task as one was broken off at the gum line. Dr. Myra skillfully extracted the teeth, applied bone grafts, and stitched up the gums. No pain whatsoever. I recommend Smile Select Dental here in Alta Loma.

Fantastic experience: Went in for my appointment at Smile Select in Alta Loma and like always it was a pleasant experience. Today my hygienist, Brian was very efficient and gentle and extremely thorough and very personable. He was very confident at his job and did it well. I had a great dental hygene check ups thanks to Brian.

Negative experience: They gave me options on treatments. However, changing doctors during my multiple appointments made the process longer and more uncomfortable to get my treatment done; the doctors repeated the same procedure twice. It is expensive, and I'm not sure about the disinfection process in the tools.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant “Brian” was very competent and thorough. But he was also very friendly and quite funny. So that made my visit to the dentist almost enjoyable! I was also very glad to meet their new dentist, Dr M. She seems very nice too.

Fantastic experience: Desk clerks Erica and Michelle, dental assistant and Doctor Mungia were very good, thorough, communicated well and was very helpful in helping me navigate my treatment goal. I’ve had a long dental journey, so I have experienced at lot. There ability to listen to my needs and answer my questions were much appreciated. They didn’t sound like car salesman with something that is very personal, expensive and necessary for dental confidence. The office atmosphere was comfortable.

Negative experience: I did not get the dental cleaning. I was supposed to receive the dentist never polished my teeth never did a rinse did not use everything they were supposed to my teeth no polishing or floor ride. I actually just read what a teeth cleaning consist of and it was not done when I got my teeth cleaning today at smile select. in Upland or Alta Loma very disappointed, and they kept rescheduling my appointment and did not have a dental hygienist

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist was great, cleaned and took xrays of my teeth without pain or discomfort. The dentist was excellent as well. I also was to say thank you to the receptionist. My hygienist was nanda.

Negative experience: My appointment was for cleaning at 5pm but I did called in until 5:30 the dental assistant was very nice , after took many many Xray wait another 30 minute until the dentist came in. And she quickly looked inside of my mouth and told the assistant to write down 4 teeth are lose and her suggestion to extract all the front bottom teeth I only have one loose tooth in the front bottom and some of the side and she suggested I should have denture and she didn’t even ask me what I wanted. The end hygienist Showed up and he said I cannot do cleaning because you need to do deep cleaning and I done deep cleaning two years with my other dentist , and never suggested to do it again because I don’t have any bleeding in my teeth and doing two times cleaning in a year. I don’t want to go there again.

Positive experience: The Dr. Hadnt seen me yet, just got in the chair for xray, and I was handed a card for my next appointment already, didn't even leave a co pay yet,thought it was kind of unusual.

Positive experience: I went to Smile select to get an extraction and implant. It started off great, had my insurance confirmed and cost to complete and maintain was reasonably priced so I decided to go with them. Halfway through the process, after weeks of work, I'm told my insurance was never accepted. After going back and forth at my cleaning appointment, I was told there were a lot of us like that. Apparently they just kept allowing to come in and stick to the original agreement, but at the start of the new year they changed their minds. No notification whatsoever. If I wanted to be seen I would have to pay out of pocket. Less than a week later I get a text saying to come in for a cleaning at no cost. When I confirmed I was told the wording was a mistake and it would still be out of pocket but that they would remove me from their contact list. Not true. Weeks later and I'm still getting text messages from them. I would highly suggest if you work with them that you confirm everything in writing as they've gone back and forth so many times.

Fantastic experience: I love the Norco Office! Dr. Brinda has incredible surgical skills-Placement of the implants are perfect. I was so impressed with how smoothly the implant surgery went. The results are amazing. Dr. Parry is an awesome, very professional, knowledgeable and excellent surgical skills! He did great job to install implant crowns and the crowns are beautiful and perfect! He explains every step and make me feel comfortable at all time. Their assistant Jennie is very experienced and provides exceptional services! Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Smile Select Dental! Everyone I met was very friendly, personal and professional. I’m like most people and don’t like going to Dentist, not the people but the thought of it. Today was different, my experience was not scary at all, I had Jamie who did my XRays and was the dental assistant ( not sure of title) I don’t remember the Hygienist name but she was very nice and gentle, then there was Dr Patel who explained everything of what I needed to get done and last but not least was Alex, she explained what the cost would be and what the insurance would cover! I would definitely recommend Smile Select to everyone, I was not disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience here. The dentist and dental assistants were very kind, personable and informative of what I needed to get done without being overkill. My dental hygienist, Nada was very mindful of my sensitive areas and offered topical treatment so I wasn't as uncomfortable during my cleaning.

Negative experience: While I agree office staff are great my experience with services provided were very disappointing. I did go in for some extensive work and came out in worse shape then before. Communication between dentist and I were nil. The owner didn't seem to care. So please do not believe what they say. Their very misleading and did terrible work so don't waste your money

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here since I was a college student. They do wonderful work with my teeth and offer regular check ups and emergency exams at a good rate if you sign up with Kleer at their clinic. Today, I got my 6-month check-up and cleaning done by Nada, who really got in there and got my teeth cleaned up quickly and easily. She’s awesome and helped me with questions I had about maintaining my implant.

Sally, the dental hygienist, offered a lot of information to ensure that I took good care of my teeth. I would give her 5 stars. The dentist who followed up was patient and offered suggestions. He didn't introduce himself by name, which would have been nice. I like getting my treatments here & do have dental insurance.

Positive experience: great clinic and technicians but if you come on a Saturday be prepared to WAIT. I waited almost an hour to be seen and didn’t get any updates whatsoever. However once I was seen Jamie was great at validating how I was feeling and apologizing. Convenient because it’s so close but not the best at time management or admin work.

Everyone is very polite especially Cynthia. She took my x rays and was very communicative throughout the process. The person who did my cleaning did a very thorough clean, and the hygienist was quick and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I had my exams done today as well as cleaning. Nada did great in communicating to me each action she took so I may know what to expect. She handled the teeth cleaning well and is very gentle. She constantly asked if I was OK all throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: The front office staff was friendly upon arrival. As a new patient, I did not have to fill out actual paperwork, but everything was digital! No more sitting down with a clipboard for at least 30 minutes- Now, you are given an iPad and asked a series of questions that will take approximately 5-10 minutes. As far as my visit went, meeting with the technician to do X-rays was very gentle with the camera and fast with taking the pictures. The hygienist, Nada; did an amazing job getting my teeth cleaned, flossed, and checking my gums after not being to a dentist office/cleaning for a year. I was extremely pleased with my first visit here! I was seen by Dr. Ahmed, whom was very kind and professional. I would highly recommend anyone who is scared to visit a dentist, to visit this dental office the staff is friendly and they take great care of your teeth!

Negative experience: 10/10 DO NOT recommend this place! First they had issues billing my insurance, they took 2 years to even put my implant in. I spent 6 months waiting to get reimbursed for paying for something I wasn’t responsible for. They gave a so called “guarantee” on the implant. When I went to utilize that guarantee service due to a gap they left on the implant, they wanted to refer me out to another specialist and told me I had to pay out of pocket to fix the work THEY did. This place is HORRIBLE! Unless you like to be given the run around I do not recommend this place! I only gave it 1 start because that was the only way to post this!
