The doctor was friendly and agreed to compensate for the difference based on his misunderstanding of the job I required of him to do, I’m hoping that by next appointment every thing will be done.

I have some anxiety when it comes to the dentist but the doctors and hygienist are always patient with me and do their best to make me comfortable! The front desk girls are also great, they make the scheduling and insurance/payment processes so smooth.

Experiencia positiva: Called because I had an emergency with a tooth causing me severe pain and I was waiting on my new insurance to become effective. Called around and Ideal Dentistry was able to see me the same day I called. Dr. Mina and staff were berry friendly and took great care of me. Explained my options and once I decided what I wanted to do, they scheduled me for the next day to have the necessary procedure performed. I have found my new dental clinic and am very pleased with the care and short waiting time. Thank you Dr. Mina, Aniyah, Heather, and staff!

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Ideal dental for 3 years. Although they are very nice, the process is very long. The orthodontist does not have many appointments, 2 per month actually. I’ve had my appointments not recorded. It’s very inconvenient and frustrating. If I did it again, I would not choose Ideal Dental.

Experiencia negativa: The front office staff were nice and professional but a bit dismissive but I know they are only doing what is told. I was not happy with my visit, I left confused and disappointed and felt as though I was being taken advantage of financially. The Dr. Mina , said I-had 3 cavities and needed fillings again that we’re already filled and that I needed braces, I am 55 years old and go to a dentist regularly except for the past year. I was never told I needed braces i have straight teeth and no under or over bite. When i questioned her she backed down quickly and started contradicting herself to the point that I didn’t believe in her assessment. The hygienist was nice but stated i needed a baby deep cleaning her words. And told me to wait for someone to discuss with me. I waited 30 more minutes for the front office to advise me of the cost of 3 fillings, a nightguard and a deep cleaning. It was ridiculous the charges for everything that was not covered under my insurance. Knowing that everything covered 90% except for nightguard. I stated i wanted just a general cleaning and i was told I could not get that. So i was dismissed. After being there for 2 hours! Dismissed! So i went and got a second opinion and guess what. No new fillings! No braces and No deep cleaning needed! So you tell me what kind of clinic are you running?? Taking advantage of people, frauding theinsurance too! Very unethical and I am considering reporting this office and the Dr to Board of Dentistry. I hope you reconsider billing my insurance for a fraudulent Dr exam and xrays as this office in my opinion needs to be reported!

Experiencia fantástica: I came from another location where I was a patient for many years. In January, I started struggling with severe cold sensitivity on a tooth. No one could figure out what was wrong, but in June, it became unbearable. I visited the Grand Prairie location out of desperation for the soonest appointment, and they found right away the source of my pain. I switched immediately to this location and have loved it ever since. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and Dr. Mina is amazing! I would highly recommend the Grand Prairie location to anyone searching!

She made being a new patient a lot more relaxing than I thought it would be. Chatting and smiling as we interacted. Ashley was a jewel. Very welcoming and accommodating. She did something no other dental hygienist did for me. She wiped and cleaned my face the entire time her tools danced in my mouth!! I felt like a very loved and cared for little baby!! I got there, The receptionist said her manager canceled because it wasn't confirmed. The text said "..this is a reminder that your Ideal Dental Grand Prairie appointmentis Jul 7,at 1:00pm. We're looked forward to seeing you! Please arrive 10min......" NO WHERE ON THAT TEXT ASK FOR CONFIRMATION! Appointment canceled without notice causing waste of time and missing work.

Experiencia negativa: Had a frustrating experience as a new customer. TLDR: Appointment canceled without notice causing waste of time and missing work. Scheduled an appointment on their website. Since only opened during the week I have to take time off from work to go. I show up and the receptionist tells me that my appointment was deleted because I did not confirm. I did not receive any text or email asking me to confirm. I got a call from them but the message was asking if I could go in the day before. But nothing in the message did it ask me to confirm anything. The message didn’t specify to call back to confirm just that if I wanted to go in earlier it’s an option. As far as I knew my appointment was still good and got a reminder via text. I filled out the forms in preparation for my appointment and yet they still cancelled my appointment. After waiting for 30 minutes for an update I had to leave and go back to work. I wouldn’t mind waiting longer but they had no updates so couldn’t keep waiting. Receptionist didn’t apologize or show any concern. Just confused look with no resolution. Ended up scheduling with a different office. This is not a good way to treat new customers.
Experiencia fantástica: I came in to have a chipped tooth filled and a cleaning. im expecting the dental hygienist to be working on my teeth, but was i so wrong. Dr. Sherry Mina gave me the best treatment and the upmost service. she gave me my smile back and even gave my teeth a polish even though i didnt ask for it, she knew how much my smile meant to me and she went above and beyond for me. this is the kind of service you dream for when going to the dentist. Im never going anywhere else but ideal dental Grand Prairie. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me!!
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been waiting for over two months for my retainer, and I’m extremely frustrated by the delay. The current dentist I’ve been seeing has not been pleasant or helpful. Every interaction with her has been unprofessional, and it’s been quite disappointing compared to the excellent care I received from all the previous staff. Worst Service ever at this place now!! They don’t listen to the customer needs they go off what makes the most money She was dismissive during all of my visits unfortunately , she hasn’t demonstrated the level of service or communication I was expecting. I got anxiety every time I saw her. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating, especially after waiting so long for a solution. I’ve had positive experiences with this office before, but after this, I will not be returning. I’m genuinely disappointed in the lack of care and professionalism, and I’m now looking for a new dental provider.

Experiencia negativa: I finally got my crown after 3.5 months, so I am happy to be done with treatment. However, I think this facility could use an office manager. My initial visit was pleasant and all the women are very kind, so I was excited to find this place, but after the first visit it went downhill. I came in for a cleaning, that turned into needing 2 fillings for $143 which turned into needing a crown for $900. During the filling, I was given 5 anesthetic shots (I have never had that many before) which caused me severe pain to where I couldn't open my mouth more than a centimeter for 24 hours. So, at my next crown appointment I refused the anesthetic. It seemed to be going fine until the doctor put the crown in and it cracked as soon as I bit down. Frustrating, but we move on. In this process I have had 3 temporary crowns which fell off, one that came off within an hour. At my fifth visit, I came into the office to get the new crown and I was sat in the chair before the hygienist came to tell me that they did not have my crown in. I had been told before that the crown was not in 7 minutes before my temporary crown appointment, and I witnessed a man and his daughter being told that they did not have her wire in while they were in the waiting room. Hence, why they need organization. Most of us have jobs and cannot afford to waste time commuting to the dentist only to be turned away because no one is checking if the supplies are in or if the doctor is going to be able to complete the procedures. I had 6 appointments just to get a crown put on... In addition, I was told that the facility where they are ordering the crowns from are to blame for the extended timeframe and low quality crown, so if that is true I also recommend not going the cheap route and finding a better quality provider. All in all, these women are very nice and I think they are trying hard, but I did not have anywhere close to a good experience. You also can not cancel treatment once they've started, so fair warning if you need anything more than a cleaning or a simple filling because after 5 visits, they told me I could not cancel or get a refund because she had already sawed my tooth. So, I had to waste 4 months at this facility. Best of luck in the future. Hope they get an office manager.
Experiencia negativa: Will never go back again. They took my son (11 yr old) to do a routine check up. They took him back to do xrays. After about 10 min maybe more I asked if he was done. They went back to check and said he wasn't but he's in the room still doing xrays. I said can I go back they refused to let me go back saying they want to minimize radiation exposure. I said he's only 11 to be back there by himself. They said it's absolutely normal. Uhhh no it's not. Last time we were here there was no problem with me going back with him. If he's in a room by himself with another adult I should be allowed to go back. They were super condescending and indifferent to the fact that I was uncomfortable with my son being in the back room with it me. Will never go back again.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Sherry Mina, was the most professional, amazing, caring dentist I have ever been to. I am the type to usually avoid the dental office, but her care and her way of making me feel the utmost comfortable, has completely changed my perspective of all of it. If you want the best care, best education, and most comfortable experience you have to go to her. I will most definitely tell my friends and family about this experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Mina was very gentle with my sensitive teeth and took good care of me during my visit. She is one of the best dentists I have ever interacted with.
Experiencia negativa: The front desk, Dr. Mina, and Ashley (the dental hygienist) were all friendly, personable, and thorough. Both Dr. Mina and Ashley made sure to explain all aspects of my dental hygiene, my deep cleaning treatment, and my filling in detail. They both were great about answering my questions and concerns. Ashley even went above and beyond to offer me her own breast milk after an antibiotic that was originally used after my deep cleaning was found to potentially affect my ability to breastfeed. I do want to mention that I originally came in for a check up the day before and only got X rays done since I opted for a deep cleaning and Ashley was working on one for a different patient. I came back the next day. They did try to upsell me on Invisalign despite talking to me about my permanent retainers (meaning they’re aware I already had braces) as well as removable retainers. They also tried to upsell me on a mouth guard since I talked about jaw/teeth pain that I said could be related to my ear infection (which it was). The antibiotic was rinsed off after we realized it might be a breastfeeding complication and the price was adjusted off my bill. Update: After two weeks, my teeth have still been sensitive even when I’m not eating or drinking anything. I could just be breathing through my mouth and I feel the pain sensitivity. I called the office today to tell them about this and they asked if I had used the prescription mouthwash. I told them I hadn’t and then confirmed my name as well as my preferred pharmacy. Hours later I went to said pharmacy to try to pick up the prescription mouthwash but found out it hadn’t been sent. In summary, my time was wasted on two separate occasions.
Experiencia negativa: Been before and had a great experience, was experiencing some issues with a tooth, I was willing to wait a week with tooth pain to get seen so I made an appointment. I was driving on my way into the appointment to be 15 min early and received a phone call my appointment had been cancelled due to a delay with the physician. Was asked to w ait 4 more days, i would have been okay with a delay but a call 15 min before an appointment is unacceptable. I know things happened but no real solution was offered I had to ask to reschedule.
Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to come in and schedule an appointment but I didn’t realize my insurance was out of network. I believe the lady name was Nara or Nari , she explained their discounted plan with the company and made me reconsider.
Experiencia positiva: Had a stressful tooth emergency so called Monday morning and was given an appointment the next day. Receptionist seemed kind of distracted, so I confirmed the plan with her verbally several times. When I showed up Tuesday the receptionist (same one I spoke with Monday) at first got this weird look on her face, and told me to sit down. After making me wait 20 minutes, she told me that I actually did not have an appointment but I could get one in two days. When I reminded her I spoke with her the previous day, she tried to blame me instead of admitting that she had failed to book it properly. The back office staff stepped in and got me in to at least see the dentist to get X-rays and make sure my tooth situation was stable and could wait a couple more days. The dentists and hygienists have always been pleasant and competent. Just beware about confirming appointments. I recommend double checking and/or getting a confirmation email or text to be sure.

The time spent is always well-structured, and I continue to learn something new at each appointment. Ashley is especially great, always taking the time to highlight my improvements, and it's all thanks to the support and guidance from the entire team. Experiencia negativa: The office staff was nice. However, the dentist and management seem to prioritize unnecessary procedures and imaging at the expense of their patients health and pocketbook. Especially if you have a healthy mouth/teeth, please beware of this dental office.
Experiencia negativa: This place over books appt more than the normal amount, they also scam was quoted a 600 wisdom tooth removal at the day of appt they asked for 1000 and it only took 15mnts to remove the tooth. Should have just walked out and looked for another place. Be careful and always ask for a receipt! That's another thing they made me put a down-payment at the consultation and the day of the appt they did not see my down-payment and I had a receipt email to show them
Experiencia fantástica: Hardest part is walking through the door! Starting with Nairi up front who was very knowledgeable when discussing treatment plans ESPECIALLY the financials to ensure I had the most affordable out of pocket. Ashley has seen nearly everything in her experience, was so gentle during X-rays/oral exam & made me feel that my teeth weren’t as bad as I thought just needed maintenance. Could barely tell Dr. Mina was working she was so gentle & her tone while discussing my remaining work made me feel so at ease & that any other work would be smooth & painless.

Experiencia negativa: Went for a regular tooth cleaning and left paying $800 without getting my cavities filled or wisdom teeth taken out (with insurance). Just a regular deep cleaning, where the manager, Heather, intentionally does not explain what you're paying for prior to signing. As a law student, I know misrepresentation when I see it and it seems that my experience as well as the reviews from other patients reflect that.

Wouldn't do a regular cleaning on me because I didn't buy the "deep cleaning" scam. Would not recommend at all. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't waste your time.

Experiencia fantástica: I chipped a filling over the weekend & was able to schedule an appointment online for first thing Monday morning. I saw Dr. Chae & couldn’t be happier. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, timely & the new patient process was streamlined. Dr. Chae was fantastic to work with and I didn’t feel a thing while getting my filling replaced!
Experiencia negativa: As soon as you walk in it’s a sales pitch. It seems like the office is just trying to make money. I scheduled for a basic cleaning. I wasn’t told until after I saw the dentist I would t get a cleaning because I said no to the deep clean. There’s plenty of reviews with people having the same experience.
Experiencia fantástica: I visited ideal dental Grand Prairie yesterday, their service was exceptional the vicinity was neat and smells good, the lady at front desk (right) was friendly and helpful. My dental assistant lady was gentle and kind and to top it all my dentist was professional, informative and explained in details step by step of what needed to be done. He was patient and listened to me. But, I couldn’t go on with my service because after check up with my insurance the out of pocket cost for the service I needed was out of my budget.
Experiencia fantástica: Just loved the dentist and workers, they were all so very nice. Loved how they kept checking on me throughout my procedure. They were just nice!!!
Experiencia positiva: I have been going to this location for about 8 years or so and I have had great experiences with the staff. My only concern is that they don’t keep a Dentist here long. I have seen different dentist since going and my dental plan is just out the window at this point. I introduced my mother-in-law to this location. It took them a year to get her dentures and they are still not right. Every time she goes there is a different dentist and they give her a different answer as to why she is having issues with her dentures. I just wish we could get one dentist and stick with them. That’s my only issue and since the dentist play a huge role in a dental practice I give the location 3stars.

Experiencia negativa: The dental office BP equipment (2) the wrist and arm are faulty. I was provided with erroneous reading (183/103; 177/98 etc.) My BP in last 30 years has never reached this level, I was certain their equipment was faulty & even communicated to Dr. Tran. I immediately went to my Physician just 5 miles away at USMD and the nurse took my BP, and it was 131/80 & the arm calf was 132/78. I was told the equipment used by IDEAL Dental was faulty or did not function correctly and could probably be of dead batteries. I wasted my 2 hours as the Dr. Tran could not perform the cleaning due to erroneous BP equipment. The office manager or the assigned assistants must perform proper checks to make sure equipment functions. I would not do any dental services at location that does not maintain or ensure equipment functions. As evidence I obtained a note from my physician at USMD showing the BP is well controlled on my current medication regimen. Also, I had brought my digital records which IDEAL dental refused to use. The digital records just 1 week old. Ideal advertised free Xray /exam to which I was entitled but they did not comply with what they publish. Office Manager said it was for people that insurance does not cover in 2023, which was my case.

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend. I work as a dental hygienist in the USAF. I went here because I get a free annual routine cleaning (covered by civilian insurance). They tried to upsell me on fluoride rinse, anesthetic, and perio scaling (which should be included in a hygienist cleaning!) When I chose not to pay the additional $450 out of pocket, they refused to do any cleaning unless I accepted their up charges. What type of business is this?! I am disappointed in you Dr. Tran. Experiencia positiva: The ppl are nice but the whole office is dirty from the waiting area to the exam rooms. Dirty floors ,dead bugs and spider webs everywhere. I was very uncomfortable.
Experiencia fantástica: Over the years I have been to several different dentist and I can honestly say my experience with Ideal Dental was above and beyond my expectations. Every person I had contact with was professional & personable. Such a warm & welcoming environment. I was handled with such gentle care. This will be my forever Dentistry. Great team!!! % recommend!!
Experiencia negativa: They’re always late attending me, even when I have an appointment. Last visit I came in at 3 and didn’t get seen til 5pm and the doctor didn’t even do my cleaning. I had to reschedule.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately it's a different dentist every time. 2 previous ones were excellent. The one from yesterday had never seen me and said that back molars were extremely worn off(I forgot terminology) and that I need Invisalign. Then she looked at previous pictures and said that they were not that worn out and if I had Any questions? I felt that she gets a commission from ordered treatments. Then the young woman that gave we me the cost of the treatment went from 8 thousand to 5k because "we have a spring promotion". Really? Not impressed this time. Do I recommend them? NOT ANYMORE.
Experiencia positiva: Overall, excellent service as always. Unfortunately- this time, which has not been my experience before, they ran 45 minutes late. I'm only giving 4 stars because I required additional treatments and could not get it done because of the delay and other commitments I had scheduled. I was able to schedule to have them completed over the next month, but again - I prefer to take care of my semi-annual appointments at one time, one visit.
