Experiencia fantástica: I arrived early to fill out paperwork. Appointment was at 3:00, I was in the waiting room at 3:15. OK so I'm really HAPPY, the young lady did my x ray and like minutes later doctor is checking my mouth out. Should I say relaxed and calm that was me. Best service I have ever had. And going back to get a tooth pulled on Friday hay now.

Experiencia negativa: I took my brothers for a cleaning and realized there is a reason the wait time in the front is so short. They barely cleaned his teeth!!! It was concerning how speedy it was like 5 minutes even though they told me he has really inflamed gums and lots of staining. No other dentists I have been to before clean teeth that quickly. Also the way they were telling me the cost of everything was very pushy and odd. I don’t trust their way of operating and will not be returning.

However the insurance I've used before since 2016 was denied and had to pay full price even though it was current, due to outside contractors dentist(out of network)! Because of this I will have to go elsewhere for my dental needs in the future!

She sounded like it was life or death but the doctor said it could wait. It was just really uncomfortable how insistent the receptionist was on her leaving me. Overall great experience.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a cleaning that was covered by my insurance. When I went in they wanted to do tons of X-rays. I told them I didn’t want to do all of that because I didn’t plan to get work done, just my cleaning. They said I had to. So they did them. Them 5 more. Then when the dentist came in I reiterated that I wasn’t there to get work done, just to get the cleaning covered by insurance. They then refused to clean my teeth because I wouldn’t agree to $5000 worth of unnecessary work.

Experiencia fantástica: Was running late, but Smile Dental got me in right away when I got there. they took the x-rays and I didn’t have to wait long for the doctor. Everything worked out fine no cavities. very pleased with the appointment

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment a week or so ago regarding a new permanent retainer. As the retainer I had, had broken. I advised of this during scheduling. I went in today and waited for an hour. Only to be told, that the doctor advised that I should go back to where I initially received my retainer. The doctor had never come to examine me. Nobody inquired about the location I received my previous permanent retainer. Was it placed out of state or even out of the country? The service I received today was poor and wasteful of my time. As someone new to this area and looking for a new dentist and orthodontist. The way I was treated at this location was lackluster. I expected better service.

Experiencia fantástica: I loved the appointment. They explained everything and answered all the questions I had. To top it off they made sure my son was comfortable and not scared and explained everything to him, as well made sure he was doing well.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this place to anyone please save you’re self time and money when I first came here my teeth weren’t bad at all just wanted to close a few gaps they told me you need less than a year here I am at year 2 someone new works on you’re teeth every time it’s never the same person they have people that are new and they come and train on you’re teeth having no idea what there doing I have been coming here for 2 years all they do is change you’re color and tell you to leave

Experiencia fantástica: I bring my family of 5 here for their dental visit. Everyone is so nice and good here. Today we had Dr Julia who took care of my families cavities. Phi is the hygienist, she always does an excellent job with all of our cleanings. Sandy, Jessica, Mariela, Maria, Lynette, Kelvin took care of us very well with xrays, pictures, etc. I would recommend this place!!

However, there were people who saw me before my dentist came for my cleaning and one of them suggested invisalign/a retainer. I’ve never had braces and my teeth have always been straight. Lol. So that was strange.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter was seen at this office and she loved it. I liked how they engaged with her and how thorough they were with her care. I decided to go become a patient as well. They were so gentle with caring for my teeth that I almost fell asleep. I know right… weird but that just goes to say that I was so comfortable and trusting of the people surrounding me. Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time taking my 15 year old here and we really like it. First off, they have aureus appointments and that's huge for us with his very busy school schedule. The staff was wonderful taking their time with him, explaining everything to us and showing that they care.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dental office, very quick and efficient!! They waste no time getting you in and out while making sure your teeth are in pristine health!! All 3 of my kids have their exams and cleanings done within 1 ½hours from start to finish, love it here!!! We have been coming here almost 2 years I think and I will never go anywhere else!!!

Experiencia negativa: i had an appointment and i was supposed to be seen at 3 pm put in ppto at my job and on the way there then i get a call at 2:47 saying oh the dentist that was supposed to see you left after lunch so you’ll have to reschedule… i call back to get a dentist name who left she says oh it says u cancelled your appointment which i didnt then says you didnt have a specific dentist and that we just had a power outage yesterday. Not to mention i was in pain and all the dentists go to lunch at the same time…….

Experiencia fantástica: Staff from the registration desk to the treatment room were very friendly during my appt earlier this morning. I am always nervous going to a dentist like most others that shares their thoughts but Dr. Hai was very friendly as well and very professional. I was feeling comfortable with no pain when my teeth were cleaned and 7 of my teeth were filled . I surely won’t hesitate to recommend your dental services to my family and friends.

Experiencia negativa: Was told that insurance would cover me for multiple procedures and then I get called a year later for things I did that apparently the insurance didn’t cover… do not go here, terrible communication and will lie straight to your face about what’s covered and what’s not. (Also claimed my insurance was terminated, hence why my procedure wasn’t covered… my insurance was terminated 6 months after the procedure! They just filed it late)

Experiencia fantástica: Omg! This place is Amazing! I am new to Texas and I needed a Dentist anyways but I got an infection in my veneer and needed a root canal, Lets start from the beginning I was in pain for 2 days and called a couple places to see if they took my insurance. The did but couldn't get me in, I called Smiley Dental told them how much pain I was in and she squeezed me in today at 3pm. I walked in and the building is much more spacious and pretty on the inside, They greeted me and was very friendly saying they had already verified my insurance and not to worry about anything the doctor will be with me. I was led back and met with MaryCruz, she was such a doll! she made me feel so comfortable and even got me ice because my mouth hurt so bad. She took X Rays and then I met with Yairy and she was so nice too she helped me with a payment plan and she gave me options on what I can do, I was really surprised how easy it was to get the help I needed. She explained everything to me and let me choose the plan best for me. Then I had Dr. Bui she was so soft I know that's crazy to say a Dr was soft but she was very soft spoken and calming, I started to shake alot and they were so nice to put a heavy blanket over me to comfort me and Laryssa helped me she rubbed my arm while I was getting the injections, I was super nervous and while I heard the drill I actually heard the Dr humming and singing soflty while she worked and it was very comforting. Other workers came to ask her questions and she was so kind to them and never got mad or rude, it was a really good feeling everyone there really worked well together. The Dr numbed me up and I didnt really even feel it, she was really good! And I was checking out Merari she was very helpful in booking me another appointment and making sure all of my questions were asked. Thank you guys alot, genuinely you guys are what makes Dental Practices in the community essential. I was def taken care of and now I am planning on fixing all of my teeth here. Thank You guys for everything!! My visit was so perfect it could have been a commercial on how you are supposed to treat your patients! Thank you again, I am telling everyone how amazing you guys were!

My friend Jenny recommended this place for me and the receptionists and the dental helpers for X-rays + assistance was very polite and friendly staff. Jenny is the best one there helping the patients and the doctors together. Very kind of her to let me have an appointment soon enough even though it’s been a busy schedule. They all are good working dental staff and I appreciated my dental checkup with Dr. Bui here , I am happy to see what cavities I needed to get fixed and how to fix my gums issue . They even give u a treatment plan once the doctor determined what needed to be done and see what you want to do.

Experiencia negativa: They always over book so prepare to wait 45 min to an hour after your appointment to be seen with 15 other people.. My teeth still have a bit of plaque built up i come here every 6 months for the past 4 years every year they say it takes a couple cleanings to get it all off its been several. The receptionist are always rude. I've had a cavity filled wrong by a dentist and had to get it re-done correctly by another. Update 7/25/23: my appointment was at 3 it is now 3:40 they asked me to come in 30 minutes early for what? To respect their time when they don't yours? Update 1/30/24 the cavity I got refilled cause another did it wrong. They cracked my filling on the tooth next to it they filled it in shallow so I have had pain I've told them several times and they don't show care I've mentioned some receding on my gum line and was told it looked fine by 2 different dentist but the hygienist has told me on 3 different visits that it's receding to be careful this place is a joke I should've left sooner but when you built up the time you'd think they'd take better care of you... they only care about money not relationships with the patient

Experiencia negativa: I have a bad experience almost every time I come here, it’s always something new. I supposedly stopped paying for my braces about a year ago, and just today they told me I had a balance due of like $300! They had a lot of opportunity to tell me about my balance due and they didn’t. I even confirm with them 3 times, one over the phone and the others in person and they all told me I had paid everything. This last time I was here they didn’t even want to take me inn for my appointment because according to them it was already too late and “I had a lot of questions” about all of this, even though nothing was my fault, and even though I came within the grace period. There’s a lot of miscommunication in this office and the girls always seem like they don’t know what their doing. I’ve never had any issues with the dentist/orthodontist, it’s always the reception I have issues with.

Experiencia negativa: We been coming for to this location for at least a year, they your appointment is for 3:00 and you don’t get seen until 4 pm. Same old excuses we are short staffed! You will wait every visit and don’t get me started on there accounting…waste of time and money

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Hayden, Dr.Prsica, & Mary cruz worked together and efficiently to get my wisdom teeth removed. They were very kind, patient, and worked together to achieve the procedure. The front staff is always welcoming & very helpful regarding further appointments & information needed.

Experiencia negativa: Left a piece of equipment inside my gum after the crowning and filling procedure (as shown in this picture below). Extremely unprofessional by not informing me about it or double checking it. The piece of equipment was giving me a lot of pain. I had no idea it was in there until I went to a different dental office, to figure out what have been giving me pain. Do not recommend this place.

My smallest two have had bad experiences at another place, but the male dental assistant they have there was excellent with my middle child, she was not scared at all and allowed him to take pictures and clean which at the other place the moment we arrived she was in tears. Keep up the amazing customer care to all and thank you again for being so good to my babies. The dentists themselves are professional and kind.

This on particular one… I signed in a waited for hours even after I called and told them I would be 15 mins late and I asked them should I reschedule or come on in they checked with someone and told me to come on in it’s fine they could still see me so I got there signed in and waited for ever to be seen even people that came in after me was seen and out of there before I even got called to the back also I asked one girl if they had internet/WiFi she told me yes but I got to ask for the password so I waited n waited she never asked anyone n then tells me to sit and wait on her to ask but she never asked or said anything else to me she had that nasty little attitude like people were getting on her nerves so I didn’t say nun else to her about it I finally got to the back the nurses and doctors were very nice and polite I asked one if they had WiFi n she say yes and instantly gave me the password correctly…. That was my first time there I will not be back do not like the front desk service I received…… I’ve been to two smiley dentals one in garland n the other in Dallas both are great for cleaning and ortho….

Experiencia positiva: Been coming here for 13 years because of the convenience that it's close to home, but the wait is outrageous. They want you here 30mins before your scheduled appointment, but yet you have to wait for ever, it was 54mins after our scheduled time that they finally called us from the waiting room to the back. Maybe it's time to find a new dentist.

Every six months when I come in the office is clean and very friendly staff and they have some that speaks Vietnamese and she is very polite, respectful. Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment here a couple days ago, and I encountered the manager named Eunice. Her demeanor was just atrocious and her tone of voice was very rude. Please do better, from the looks of it, this company only wants your money. If you do come here as a last resort, ask to speak to anyone else besides Eunice.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming to Smiley Dental for the past few years, and with my Mom before I was able to sign off papers by myself. My Mom doesn't understand English well, but luckily Smiley Dental had a Vietnamese translator at the front desk who explained everything for her. Jenny did a great job at making my Mom and I feel at ease and tended to our every need. The staff are great and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. Their equipment is very nice too, highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I came 30 min before my appointment wich was at 11 ...I had to wait 1 hour and 15 min .I asked the front office twice what's going on they went inside and came back with no answer !!! Nobody apologized!!! I was looking at people who arrived after me and were helped! I have never experienced such thing !

Experiencia negativa: My sister has been going here for her braces for several months. Today she had a very unpleasant experience with the dental assistant. He grabbed all of the supplies including wires for her braces without gloves. He was also very rough when changing her rubber bands, he pulled her cheeks more than necessary causing her pain and soreness. When the manager was informed she said that we all make mistakes. Not wearing gloves is very unhygienic, I hope something is done to prevent this from happening again. Do not recommend!

My mom is Vietnamese and has a language barrier, Jenny has always been kind and friendly and she is always more than happy to help translate for my mom. Jenny is patient and takes the time to explain treatments and procedures for my mom. She is always helpful and is responsive wether she is in the back or at the front office. The service is always fast and friendly, everyone on the Smiley Dental team takes their time to explain through processes and they make sure each treatment has been executed properly and with good care. Jenny has always been me and my mom’s favorite, she’s always graceful when handling me and my mom. Jenny is my top recommendation for anyone who is Vietnamese and has anxiety when it comes to communication at the dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: My father recently took my little brother to this place because he had immense pain caused from his teeth. At first, my father was skeptical because of previous bad experiences and interactions with dentists from other places, but he could not stop complementing this place after his initial visit. The staff, especially Jenny, Ethan, Kelvin, Nicole, and Dr.Liz, was incredible and went beyond what was asked of them. They were friendly, understanding, patient, and thorough in their work. In fact, my father had a flat tire and they even helped him change his flat tire as he is old. They worked with diligence and made sure to provide the services with utmost respect for the patient's needs. Overall, this place is great!

Experiencia fantástica: Needed an emergency appointment for my mother’s toothache a few weeks ago and no places could get her in. Looked for many places online and found Smiley Dental. They were booked for days in advance but Jenny found an appointment for my mom as early as she could. She also recommended me a treatment plan and to speak with Nicole and the managers about pricing. They were nice and quick to help me and my mother and thank you Jenny especially for getting my mother an appointment and being understanding and being nice with my mother. I will be coming back in the future. This dental office has been all great so far!

The place is clean, friendly environment and the person that helped us with get paperwork going was very sweet. Her name is Jenny Nguyen and she also speaks a little Spanish. Very nice person. Very much recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: It was our first time here and the service was great, especially the Vietnamese receptionist at the front, Jenny Nguyen. She really helped my uncle with translating everything because he doesn’t speak English very well and also she was able to help fit him in the schedule when it was all booked. I would definitely recommend it here and speaking to Jenny. She’s so sweet and caring! 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: We recently went to smiley for my daughters appointment, we had the pleasure of meeting Alejandra the dental assistant, she was super sweet with my daughter she walked her thru every single thing she was gonna do from pictures to X-rays! Made her feel very comfortable! We will definitely be coming back again ! Great place !

Experiencia fantástica: Came here with my elderly mother needing a dental treatment and some things I noticed the most was how nice and helpful the girls in the front desk were! They gladly helped me and my mother with everything. The doctor and assistants were really good as well. I loved my experience here and I will be back!
