The exam, cleaning, and periodontal maintenance were conducted under the most hygienic conditions I have experienced during our shared time in the Pandemic Prison. Dr. Panaji is a superb dentist, kind, highly skilled and nice! She is supported by.her terrific office manager, Patty and her supporting team. I wish I could remember the name of the Dental Technician that cleaned and reviewed my teeth today—she made it an enjoyable experience—yes I said enjoyable! Fantastic experience: Today, Legacy Dental gave me top-notch care! Everyone was super pleasant and friendly. This was my first time going to a dentist in two years out of fear and being financially raped lol...My cleaning and exam was completely painless!!! My hygienist and Dr P. Thoroughly explained my plan of treatment. I have high hopes that Legacy will be my final dental home! Oh and the waiting area is nicely decorated!

Fantastic experience: Updating my review for Legacy Dental and Dr Punaji which is always 5 star! 3/3/26 - just a quick update. Rebecca is now my hygienist and is amazing. She is very personable and thorough while being gentle! I don't feel like I'm being tortured. Another 5 star visit for my 6 month cleaning. Never a fun time but my teeth feels so clean afterwards and my dental hygienist is also great and patient. Dr P is always top notch and I never feel that she is trying to just make money. She really cares about her patients. Let's be honest. No one looks forward to going to the dentist, but it is a necessity! I'm a baby about needles. Dr Punaji is very patient and compassionate and talks me through the process reminding me to breathe of course. She is conservative in her diagnoses and I trust her completely! She takes the time to tell you the process and tells you at any point if you need a break, raise your hand. I couldn't be happier with her and her staff as my personal dentist for approximately 10 years. I highly recommend this dental office and I'm picky about doctors! You'll be happy.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Punaji. She is an excellent practitioner, my husband and son also see her. My son always saw the pediatric dentist and then when they pushed braces when he was 9 and saying we might need two sets, we promptly thought he would be better with Dr. Punaji and we were correct. Referred us to a great ortho and he needed only one set of braces. She is great and her office stafe is lovely, I have never had an unpleasant encounter with anyone there.

Fantastic experience: This group of fabulous women are so attentive, caring, and they most definitely understand their patients (their needs) in order to provide care for their patients. My anxiety was on 5M due to the sensitivity that I have associated with my teeth and gums….let me tell you, they immediately put me at ease and were ever so gentle and attentive. Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience. After confirming with both my insurance and myself that my visits were covered under my insurance, I attended two appointments, only to be told afterwards that my visits weren't covered and had to pay out of pocket. To make matters worse, the dentist was rude. When I expressed feeling unwelcome and disappointed with my experience, her response was, 'Then you shouldn't come,' said in a dismissive tone. On a positive note, the hygienists were professional and kind. I switched to a practitioner who not only makes me feel comfortable and respected but also ensures full transparency regarding my insurance coverage before proceeding with any treatment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Punaji for the past three years, and I can’t say enough good things about her and her amazing team! I used to have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist, which is why I avoided it for years. Negative experience: While Initial visits were good, the relationship deteriorated as the dentist became enraged that I had to cancel a re-scheduled appointment because of an asthma flare up, never mind that her office itself had canceled the original appointment to begin with. She not only assessed a $80 cancellation fee but she demanded to see my health records to prove that I had asthma, and then berated me when I came in. Good dentist, sure, but deeply unprofessional, immersed in money issues, and ignorant of privacy laws.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from a tooth ache for three years with other dentists being unable to diagnose the problem. Sowmya Punaji took a very methodical approach to finding the problem and resolved it the next morning. She took the time to make sure I understood her reasoning and why she was proposing the procedures she did. My toothache is cured and I am so relieved and grateful.
