Also, his front desk support was head & shoulders above others I’ve encountered in similar positions. She was extremely knowledgeable about insurance coverage, was professional & courteous. Negative experience: They automatically make appointments for you without telling you and charge you $62 if you don’t go even if you do not confirm the appointment. Absolutely unreasonable and will send you to collections if you don’t pay. What a scam.

Fantastic experience: I called Dr. Brokaw‘s office because I thought I had cracked my tooth or maybe there was an abscess or a huge cavity. Doctor Brokaw called me personally and told me to come in and he checked my teeth over and said that it was basically maxillary sinus issues. I didn’t realize that my allergies could cause such issues with my teeth so I was flabbergasted. He took a lot of time with me explaining about allergies and sinus issues and he gave me a regimen of hydration nasal sprays such as Flonase and nasal congestion, called Mucinex, D and to take an antihistamine like Claritin. It was a wonderful appointment. Dr. Brokaw has been my dentist for a long time. He is a wonderful caring dentist….That I wouldn’t trade for the world.

My cousin Eric, who lives in Richmond, knew we were in search of a good dentist; he had recommended Dr. Brokaw's office with the highest of praises (my cousin did not steer us wrong). The dentist, dental hygienists, and front desk staff are wonderful, compassionate, and personable. My husband and I travel a good distance (Hopewell, VA) to come to Dr. Brokaw's office for excellent dental healthcare; however, it is worth every ounce of gas, every stretch of miles, and every minute of time, we would NOT go anywhere else. This dental office is a well oil machine (it exhibits what a good business model and customer/patient service should look like) because everyone there works and act as a team...actually they act as a family...WE LOVE IT!

My insurance changed and it has been a huge pain! My kid went to his appointment, I had sent the wrong info, I told the office I would pay now and figure out the insurance stuff later. Just as I was trying to set up ANOTHER account to access my dental insurance the office had the information, let me know, and made my life a little easier. Thank you!
