Fantastic experience: Amazing employees and excellent care and service. They truly care about your dental health and will take all the time needed to break everything down and thoroughly explain things for you. I have never experienced such care in my adult life and I'm grateful I found this wonderful team. Dr Chen is amazing!!

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars, I would. I came in to see Dr. John Andre for routine fillings and left with one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. During the procedure, my mouth was cut, and I was given so much numbing medication that I couldn’t feel the entire side of my face. I then experienced what appeared to be an allergic reaction — something I have never had happen to me before with any dental work. After the fillings were placed, the bottom ones were not properly adjusted or shaved down. The filling color was also noticeably yellow and did not match my natural teeth. I ended up going to a new dentist to have the work corrected. While there, I was told they have seen other patients come in needing corrective work after treatment at this same office. That was very concerning to hear.He really should retire. No patient should have to go through this after a routine procedure. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice. Medicaid discrimination - probably why he does the worst job on the patients.

From the first phone call, I knew I found my dentist. Looking for an annual cleaning, I was comfortable from entering the front doors to the chair to making a follow-up appointment. The friendly and informative staff actually informed me of a service that I needed and didn't know I was eligible for with my insurance. Thank you to the wonderful staff who treated me. Negative experience: Took longer than it should have for a fill in since people wanna stop in the middle of my fill in to talk for 15 mins. It shouldn’t take an hour and a half for my fill in every time I go there

Negative experience: I am so glad I get to share my experience that has really haunted me for years. I had this dentist as young child to a teenager. Because of the type of medical coverage we had, my mom said she didn’t have many choices locally to take us children. Medicaid. I’m honestly surprised that his practice has grown to the extent that it has. My fear of dentistry, came from his care. I was held down as a young teen to get a root canal and other dental work. I had told them that I was in pain, and I was told that I had “had enough” numbing medication and I would have to grin and bear it. Kept being told almost finished, almost finished. His assistant literally held my arms down so he could continue his work and finished. This same assistant would say horribly mean comments when she cleaned my teeth, that I “looked like I hadn’t brushed My teeth in years” and other comments. My fear of dentistry and pain has never left, although I have had great dentists since then, I can’t seem to get over the treatment I received there, and although I was a child when this happened and it’s been almost 17 years ago, it still affects me today. It took me years to go back to the dentist, and I was overwhelmed and elated to find out that I didn’t have to be in pain to get dental work, root canals, major cavities fixed etc, I thought it was normal. NORMAL to feel horrible pain! I never leave my children alone with any dentists. I’m an advocate for them, and I make sure that they never receive the same treatment as I did. I pray you have changed for your patents. I feel like a weight is lifted off my chest to tell you what you did, and how I’ve held onto it for years. **In response to the offices reply below, you saw me at the Louisa office, my maiden name is Leake, so therefore you don’t have my married name in your records.
