Fantastic experience: My first time visiting River Run Dental. I was a new patient and the office was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and at ease. The entire team created such a calming, supportive environment, and they explained everything they were doing as they did it, which made a huge difference for me. The doctors and hygienists were incredibly kind, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth. I never felt rushed or talked down to — instead, I felt truly seen and valued as a person, not just a patient. As someone with anxiety and a deep fear of dental visits, that level of understanding and care meant more than I can express. This was easily the most comfortable dental experience I’ve had, and I’m so grateful to have found a practice that leads with compassion, patience, and professionalism. Negative experience: We just moved to the area & were recommended here by some friends. I’ve reached out multiple times (VM & online) over several days and have yet to hear back to schedule a new patient appt. Their online/website scheduling tool hasn’t been working so I called the 434 number on their website. That folks were helpful - they apologized, but said they’re unable to forward a call and assured me they would follow up with the Libbie Mill office so someone could reach out directly to get scheduled… I’m still waiting. Not sure I can trust them to handle dental care if they can’t even handle customer service

Fantastic experience: It was a long visit, but I watched the the front desk person talk through a bill with a customer in a kind and professional way, the person who cleaned my teeth found great conversation to keep my mind off the cleaning, and my hygienist was exceptional. He made me feel comfortable and cared for, plus did an excellent job with the cleaning. Thank you for a good visit to the dentists.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at River Run Dental earlier this month, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I was taken back on time, but the person who started my cleaning admitted she was filling in from another department and didn’t normally do the role. At one point, I realized two staff members were essentially practicing how to do X-rays on me, which didn’t feel professional. I was also asked for a credit card in the exam room for optional services, which felt very out of place. The hygienist who eventually did my cleaning skipped flossing, and the dentist who came in at the end didn’t introduce himself. The whole visit felt unorganized and impersonal, and I don’t plan on returning.

Fantastic experience: I had to have an extraction, a bone graft, and two lesions removed today. The staff was considerate, professional, and constantly asked if I was okay (this was a tough procedure, with an infection thrown in). Fantastic experience: Everyone is great at River Run Dental. Seriously, the best dentists and dental assistants I've ever had. Super respectful and meeting needs as far as comfort and reducing anxiety which I deal with at the dentists (as I'm sure many people do). One specific thing is that the two dentists I've had there were so gentle with the needle for administering the novocain or whatever they use. Whereas other dentists in the past it's been so painful. So basically... this dentist's office really does care about the patient and making sure they're comfortable, which is awesome.

Negative experience: I’ve been to this location a few times as a dental patient and as an Invisalign patient. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I’m so very disappointed and frustrated with my experience with River Run. Every single appointment I’ve experienced has involved mistakes or incompetency by the younger hygienist staff. The dentists seem overwhelmed and the hygienists all seem like they’re dental residents. The equipment is high tech but no one seems to know how to use it. The last couple times I was seen, a dentist had to be brought in to fix a mistake, once including spending an extra hour painfully scraping glue off my teeth. I’ve tried to book a very specific type of appointment for a week and couldn’t reach a human. Text bots and app bots only. If I wasn’t still in the middle of the Invisalign process, I would absolutely quit and find another dental office to go to.
