Fantastic experience: After 14 years I finally got the VA to start working on my teeth. People really don't understand the complicated roadblocks veterans continuously overcome. I'm writing this post at this moment to bring awareness and advocacy to those veterans who have to wait years and decades while fighting unimaginable battles before and after war. So if you see me smiling today it's truly because someone couldn't.. yesterday! SINCERELY ... Thank You to the entire staff to include Receptionist- Maureen Cleaning. I have never looked forward to dentist appointments but these ladies have a special bond and chemistry that radiates to all who walks through their doors! I’ve been very impressed by the quality and thoroughness At every procedure. They even explained every step Taken to repair my tooth. Being a Gulf War veteran, they treat me with such respect and kindness That it feels like a pat on the back for serving my country ever this I am so grateful … thank you ladies

Haywood Smile Designs is the best. I have been with them for well over a decade, and so has my wife. I highly recommend this practice, especially if you have anxiety issues. You can’t do better than Haywood Smile Designs.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasant experience at HaywoodSmileDesigns. I have been a client for almost 2 decades! I feel comfortable and at ease with any procedure and the staff is always respectful and kind. I absolutely love Dr. V and her work is truly incredible.

Negative experience: I am very upset right now due to for the 3rd or 4th time scheduling an appointment multiple months in advance to get cleaned and any fillings possibly needed and they again cancel with 3 days notice. Now I know a storm just happened but let me tell you, less than a week without power (in my paticular area) did not put an office 3 months behind where an appointment meant to happen on Oct. 7th now needs to be rescheduled until towards the end of Januaury (They said it is because a hygenist isn't in today, but how does one hygenist not being in put a company behind 3 months? If so then the workload needs to be managed and staffed better as well. But truth be said if this hadn't of already happened mutliple times to me before I wouldn't even be questioning it or upset). So it is completely ridicoulous especially after calling another dentist within 3 miles of the same Dentist and they can get me in as a new patient within 2 weeks and that is only that long because now I need an extremely late appointment due to scheduling the original appointment on one of my final days of paid vacation (also had taken days off work the previous times I was canceled on). They can be friendly yes but constant canceling and rescheduling is just unproffessional as well as disrespectful and rude to peoples time.

Positive experience: Dr. V is an amazing dentist. The admin assistant was service oriented, calling and assisting me with my insurance plan coverage immediately. My only issue was the higienist, she was behind schedule setting up the room as I was standing there. Her flossing technique was awful and a bit painful. Just disorganized and did not put me at ease. I believe the person was from a temp company filling in and not their full time employee.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was exceptionally friendly from the moment I walked in the door until I left. I arrived 10 minutes early and they called me back almost immediately. Dr. Vakharia explained everything thoroughly, and was quick and very effiient. I had a very pleasant experience which I haven't been able to say about too many dentists. I saw Dr. Vakharia from a VA referral but she treated me like I had been her own patient for years.

The hygienists are so friendly and perform a very thorough and painless prophy for us both. Then we get to see and visit with Dr Vakharia. She is such a delight! She checks our teeth and gum tissue and offers any recommendations that might be needed. We feel like we are visiting friends rather than just showing up for a dental appointment. I highly recommend this dental practice for anyone seeking excellent dental care in a friendly manner.

Fantastic experience: I don't dread the dentist anymore! From the moment I stepped through the door on my first visit, every staff member was attentive and kind. They asked me about past dental experiences and eased my anxiety about everything! They remember me each time and make detailed notes in my file. For example, I shared that a past dentist refused to listen when I ask for smaller x-rays mouth plates and they would cut my mouth, and they immediately made a note in my file and every time I get x-rays done they tell me that they are using the small ones. The dental hygienists are very good, they are gentle but thorough with cleanings. The dentist is personable and knowledgeable as well. I'll never go anywhere else!
