In my last appointment, it felt very reassuring to have Dr Sood and her assistant Nate review with me, in great detail, my dental X-rays on the big screen monitor. I was able to visualize and better understand what could have caused the temporary pain and discomfort I had felt. I appreciated their care and patience with all my 101 questions!

Fantastic experience: Took my father-in-law there for the first time. All of the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. Dr. Sood was one of the best dentists I have ever met. She was very good about explaining everything in an easy to understand way. She seemed to really care about making sure we understood our options. Her assistant was just as nice and kind. I am seriously thinking about changing dentists for myself!!

Fantastic experience: I had a super great experience. I didn’t have insurance and they did what they could to keep my expense reasonable. They were kind, thorough and explained the next steps by providing education and identified possible resources. Needless to say, I rescheduled my next 6 month exam with them. On a 1-10 scale. I give Chris H., Ketki and the check out staff an 11!!!

Fantastic experience: I can say I was pleasantly pleased with my first visit to Methodist Plaza Dental Group! It felt as if I had been there before as everyone was very accommodating with excellent “chairside” manners. I learned quite a bit about what condition my teeth and gums were in, and how the overcrowding of my teeth can be resolved!

I appreciate Dr. Sood taking extra time explaining the science behind dental practices like how ions interact with tooth structure. Dr. Sood recommended pulling a wisdom tooth. That improved my quality of life ending the loathsome regularity of food getting caught between my teeth.

Since they practice “preventive “ dentistry, most of the work is keeping our teeth and mouths healthy. We appreciate this greatly! Including four, now grown, children and their children!

My only concern is the turnover rate of dentists, hygienists and receptionist without any way to find out who I’m going to be dealing with without them asking for my cellphone number or my email. I need to say Dr. Sood is an excellent dentist and I’m so grateful to her and the staff to catch potential problems before they got too bad. Chris the hygienist is a lifesaver for finding the trick of salt on my tongue to help me with my gag reflex.

Positive experience: The office staff was very welcoming when I checked in. I had not met my hygienist previously, so she took time to get to know me and to ensure that I was comfortable with the procedures. The cleaning was done very thoroughly, efficiently, and with minimal discomfort. I usually get a headache from all of the scraping done in my mouth, but this time I never did get the headache, and the hygienist complimented me on my home-care (which encourages me to continue with the methods I’m using)! My ONLY concern was that I had not previously been informed that the dentist I was scheduled to see was no longer at that office, so I was somewhat unsure of how much I would trust the new dentist. But, she took the time to visit with me and has such a lovely-yet-professional personality and excellent “chair-side” manner that I was put at ease quickly! We had a discussion regarding one old filling that is starting to fail, and whether I would consider having it replaced soon. (Interestingly enough, I had been concerned about the condition of old fillings for some time, but was told by those dentists at the previous appointments that the fillings were still doing their job of sealing the teeth adequately.) I will be happy to see this dentist again in a few weeks for the new filling! I would recommend this practice based on the location, the easy parking, and the care and attention of the hygienist, dentist, and office staff!

Fantastic experience: Love the staff here! I have seen all of the hygienists over the 15 years I’ve been a patient at this clinic. All of them are extremely professional, thorough, kind . . I could go on and on. This office is about a 30 minute drive from my home but I believe it is worth it for the quality of care I continually receive there.

Fantastic experience: Rhonda always does a great job. She's very thorough and professional, keeps me informed on everything and makes recommendations that would help me keep my teeth well. On my previous visit she informed me of a new toothpaste, Colgate "Glum Detoxify". I gave it a try and am impressed in the results, especially because it reduced two of my pocket numbers. I let her know that her recommendation probably was the reason.
