Fantastic experience: Shoutout to Dr. Pete within 5 minutes of me of me calling the staff got me taken care of on some front teeth I chipped. They took really good care of me, I would highly recommend EP True Dental.

Fantastic experience: SO grateful to Dr. Holst for getting me in for emergency dental work while traveling in Iowa. It turned into the need for a root canal and her staff was also able to secure an appointment with an endodontist. I highly recommend this dental practice!

I usually experience some sensitivity/pain when my teeth are getting scrapped in certain areas, but she took her time, didn't catch any gums, and the whole experience was pain-free.

Fantastic experience: Great boutique facility with caring professionals. They actually take the time to examine your dental changes from your previous visit(s), and keep a watchful eye on potential problems. It’s not like your childhood dentists where you felt like you’re clutching your chair. They create a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: Was a client for 8 years until quite recently. Familiar front desk staff disappeared, my regular hygienist disappeared, they stopped offering mild nitrous during cleanings, and then in early November, my relationship with the practice ended abruptly when they referred me to a periodontist. The hygienist even hinted in our walk back to the exam room that they might not be able to perform the regular cleaning that day -- a weird statement that suggested they were off-loading certain patients (but not before they did a panoramic X-ray that cost $213). It wasn't an insurance issue, as I was private-pay the entire time (and the panoramic showed no issues). In my opinion, there's a strange vibe here -- a practice that's being sold and has lost focus about why they exist.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is the BEST! My 87yr old mom had broke her denture. We had been to several places, but s wasn’t comfortable with the others. A friend referred us, I called and had an appointment the next day! The dentist went out of his way to get her dentures fixed by the weekend! Thank you !!

Negative experience: I used to love going here. Last two times I went, Dr Olberding wasn’t even there. They put a note in my file to make sure on my next visit, I would actually see the dentist. Had a different dental assistant that day who was less than friendly. That was my last time there.

Negative experience: I was a patience for 4+years. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the front desk staff. At the moment I desired to reschedule my appointment they was very rude and even hung up the phone on me. Dr.Peter Olberding and he staff behind the Desk are a great. I think Dr.Peter Olberding, should Monitor and analyze the way the staff are treating his patiences. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this Dental Clinic due to the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior exhibited by the front desk staff ( I will reserve the name, this is not personal )

Negative experience: I have been going here for almost 10 years but lately have been getting treated with a lot of disrespect. I got Invisalign to fix two teeth, which was 14 trays. I told Dr. I was not happy with the results (teeth didn’t move) and the total cost was $3,000 (discounted since I had two teeth to move) I went in today for a cleaning and talked to Shawna, who was being very rude about the whole situation in front of other people in the lobby. (I've read other reviews and it sounds like multiple other people stopped going here because of her) She told me I never put a down payment down (whice I did, I had no choice to get trays ordered) When Dr. Olberding came in he was very short with me, when in the past he seemed to care, not today. I told Shawna due to the disrespect and rudeness I won’t be back and she said “Super!” Not the way they should be treating patients who are having issues. For someone who is at the face of the company and deals with all patients, you would think they would want someone friendly, polite, and understanding. I will not be back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Olberding and his staff have always been very professional and thorough. I would recommend EP True Dental to anyone looking for a dental office that truly cares about their patients.

Cleanings, cavities - everything done in pleasant professional manner with sincere concern for my comfort and dental health. Takes time to answer my questions and address any concerns. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of EP True Dental since the 1990s, when Dr. Pete Olberding bought the practice from Dr. Eugene McCormick. Dr. Olberding has handled my fillings and crowns, with enthusiasm and good humor. Hygienists are pleasant and caring, as are the front office workers. I’d recommend to anyone in need of dental work.

Positive experience: I like the dog friendly environment and the interior lighting design was very relaxing - it took the receptionist a little while to confirm and update my file however it was only just a moment and they called me back Not sure where I stand on mask policy but it is enforced still at this facility as I’m sure all clinics still are - just a little ironic that folks site mask wearing leading to dental issues long term - not that this outfit is unlike any other dental facility just not convinced that employees required to work a full shift almost always wearing their mask is always the best - I comply as always upon request but personally believe mask wearing should be by choice While noting that in my mind is when the gal took me back - we finished the health updates - she promptly explained the x-ray procedures and began those scans directly after - she was as nice as she could be - she finished up and then detailed exactly what the Dr would do during my evaluation Very shortly the Dr entered - immediately shook my hand and after a bit of stand up I learned is golf handicap (11) btw - everything put me at ease during our conversation - I explained my previous condition with periodontal issues and he was straight forward with my options short term and long term I think after he quickly checked with gear on and after seeing x-rays he and I knew that we would be seeing each other again - but when I go back now to get the filling I feel I will be much more comfortable and able to relax Just one of my phobias but dentists visits normally give me the heebee geebees and I feel more optimistic this time (at least until I hear the drill start up) :)

When I first moved to town nine years ago, and needed a crown placed, I had no idea where to go! I took a chance on EP True Dental because the office staff was so caring and knowledgeable and really put me at ease. I’ve been a regular patient ever since! Dr. Olberding is the greatest and that same professionalism and caring attitude filters right down through the other staff, be it a dental assistant, dental hygienist, or the office and insurance staff…..they are all friendly and willing to help!
