Fantastic experience: I recently had a tooth extracted by Dr. Jakubowski, and the entire experience was great ! The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. I was initially scheduled for a Consult, but I was sure I wanted the tooth out, and they agreed to dispense with a consultation; instead scheduling my initial visit to be for the procedure itself - which I appreciated. As for the extraction itself, it was quick and painless (thanks to the local anesthetic !) Afterwards, I was given detailed instructions - verbally (with a written handout) on how to care for the affected area in the coming days, and everyone asked if I had any additional questions. A highly user-friendly experience from start to finish ! The next day, Dr. Jakubowski even called me himself to check on whether everything was alright - which surprised and impressed me ! I thought it was good of him to follow up; making sure he was available to answer any questions or concerns. I would strongly recommend this practice to anyone in need of an oral surgeon. Two thumbs way up, (and 5 stars in this review !)

Fantastic experience: I had my surgery in June of 2026, I came from out of town cuz I just moved to GA, my dental was still in fl, and this place was highly recommended, because of the distance they where able to schedule me a consultation and procedure all in the same day. I got there at 10am & had my consultation (they answered every question, fear and concern I had) they looked at my teeth and the xray provided by my dentist. Had us watch a little video explaining everything, and then took me back to the room, I was IV’d up right away was immediately out and was out of the facility by about 11:15/11:30. The surgery was only about 40 minutes and as soon as I woke up they gave my husband all the info on recovery and all my supplies and sent us on our way, very easy, very straight forward and very professional, would 110% recommend, on top of all that tho they have a 24/7 on call nurse, so if u have any questions or concerns or pain outside business hours you can call and I promise she’ll answer. My first few nights we definitely called a few times to make sure certain feelings or side effects where normal (they all where) and it was explained very well. She was so sweet and I can’t thank this office enough , if I ever had to go anywhere to get my bottom teeth out (I got the top out) I without a doubt would be back at this facility!!! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Bay Center Oral and implants. I was treated by Dr. Venessa Watts (Dr. V). Dr. V treated me for TMJ. Dr. V and my movement disorder Dr. at Shands in Gainesville came up with a plan to treat me. She spent time communicating with my Shands Dr. to come up with a plan for treatment. She spent her time to team up with another Dr. They came up with a plan for treatment. I found Dr. V to be very compassionate. I would recommend Bay Center to family and friends. Fantastic experience: My son recently had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vanessa Alexiou, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and made him feel comfortable right away. They explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The procedure was quick and went smoothly. Afterward, they gave me easy-to-follow instructions for my son, which made recovery much easier than we expected. Overall, I’m very happy with the care my son received and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing wisdom tooth removal.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. After the Novocain took effect the tooth was pulled with no pain. The whole thing was over in about 15 minutes. I received detailed instructions on post surgery care and the dentist called the next day to see how I was doing and if I had any questions.

Fantastic experience: After visiting another dental professional and having an infected implant treated with peridontal surgery and antibiotic treatment unsuccessfully for over a year, I asked my regular dentist for another referral. She gave me the Bay Center for Oral and Implant Surgery. I chose Dr. Christopher Maly because of his excellent credentials. He viewed the implant in question, the X-rays and then told me the implant and post should be removed. He did so shortly after that visit (they are available for appointments and the staff is patient-friendly in getting appointments set up as soon as possible) and after pulling the post without any drilling, Dr. Maly informed me there was no way to treat that infection successfully as the previous dentist was doing. The post was mired in infection and came out very easily because of the infection. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Maly and the practice for any type of periodontal or implant treatment without reservation. They are professional to the highest standard, accessible, and easy to work with. My infected bone is healing well and the bone is regenerating finely. No need to look elsewhere at all!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jakubowski and his team were amazing. I am a true dental coward who needed a lower molar extraction. I was given various options as to methods to use and I chose sedation. It was wonderful! I am on day 2 post extraction and have had no pain or discomfort, no swelling and no need for any pain medication. Fantastic experience: Only extremely great things to say about Dr. Jakubowski and his team. I’m an extremely nervous person when it comes to any dental procedures, so when I was in the position where I knew I had to get a dental implant I became extremely anxious. Having the option of sedation as well as the calming bedside manner by this whole team I felt at ease and it was much better than I anticipated. Thank you! My complex procedure was clearly explained and I was made to feel comfortable with any decision I made. I always chose Dr. Jakubowski, his knowledge and kindness makes me feel comfortable. Next day he makes a call asking how do I feel, and if I need anything I can contact him directly. The office staff is respectful, friendly, caring, and very comforting. They resolve any dental insurance paperwork very smoothly and efficiently. Negative experience: Although the tooth extraction was done well , I had an Extra charge on my bill for $112 for “Comprehensive Oral Evaluation “ When I inquired about the extra charge the office person told me it for a oral cancer screening that no one had asked me if I wanted And I know the dentist did not go through all of my mouth he focused on on the tooth that was to be extracted. So even with my insurance I ended up paying $416 for a single tooth extraction. Also if they actually did do a cancer screening which I wasn’t told about nor gave permission for, I never received any report or word of said screening. I believe this is probably a charge they tack onto everyone’s bill. And if so they should ask if u want this . This charge should have been taken off, and they wouldn’t! In the future I would find another Oral Surgery center.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jakubowski is amazing, along with his assistant Theodore .Been putting off for a while getting a extraction and decided I had to get it out. So scared, but the doctor put me at ease and was very quick with no pain. I work in the dental field and have been referring to them for years and now I know why.

Fantastic experience: Having to have an extraction of a tooth that broke off, my dentist referred me to Dr. Jakubowski, an oral surgeon at Bay Center, in the Tyrone St.Pete area. First off the office staff, including Kat, and Erica were friendly, professional and pleasant to work with. Dr. Jakubowski was kind, patient and explained in detail what I should expect when pulling this tooth. I considered an implant as well, and he also informed me as to how that procedure was done in case I was able to do it in the nearest future. And although I dislike needles, I got through that, and he kept talking to me, (cause I was kind of holding my breath!), he then pulled the tooth in one full swoop, and was done in 5-10 minutes!! I was amazed at how great this oral surgeon is!! Next day, he called to check on me and besides the slight soreness of the needle, it was like I never had anything done!! After care was explained and I had no problems. I HIGHLY recommend Dr.Jakubowski to anyone needing this type of, or any type of oral surgery. Thank you Dr., and a big thanks to office staff, and their beautiful, well kept facility! ☺️ Caring and kind people here.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a tooth ache, and my regular dentist recommended Baycenter for Oral Implants, or something similar to that. At 74, my memory isn't that sharp The surgeon was Dr. Jakubowski. He and his team were fabulous. A well oiled and consisive unit. The nurse I had was unbelievable. She walked me through the procedure, stayed with me the whole Time, and didn't let me leave until I was comfortable, and informed of how to treat my wound. I would recommend this crew to anyone. I'm not saying to have oral surgery for date night, but if you have a problem, see these people .

The dental assistant Haley was absolutely wonderful in every way. Dr. Jakubowski is the best! Yesterday with his skill, he performed several complicated extractions on me flawlessly. I was very nervous and worried about pain and some potential complications which were discussed with me previously. He helped me to remain calm and confident as he walked me through the procedure. Fantastic experience: Today I had two teeth extracted at the Tyrone office and was anxious about the procedure. Dr. Ingalls and Melissa were the absolute best!! Fantastic experience: The next step following the extraction of the fractured tooth root and stitched-in bone chips was like night & day. Only pressure and the sound of drilling. No pain. However, just to get ahead of the possibility of pain, I did take one pain pill when I got home. Very little bleeding from the stitches. I go back for a follow-up in 2 weeks...hopefully to get the stitches removed. All things considered, this procedure was a breeze. In and out in 45 minutes. Now I wait about 4 months for my regular dentist to attach a crown to what Dr. Jakubowski installed. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: I had a second tooth pulled this year, I had the same positive experience as last year. I felt comfortable as my vitals were watched during the procedure. The hygienist and doctor explained what was going to happen. I only took an over the counter pain pill the day of and day after. The doctor, not office staff, called to check on me. Fantastic experience: I was referred by the VA to Dr. Maly @ Bay Center for Oral and Implant Surgery. By for thee best. Dr. Maly has completed tooth extractions, bone grafts, and implant surgeries for me. I've been with him for almost a year. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable about his work. He cares for the patients and always greet you with a smile. There has never been a day that he hasn't! Even calls after a procedure to check on you. Back office staff will even hold your hand and talk with you during a procedure(I'm such a big ole baby and anxiety was on 1000 lol) I've been to 2 of his offices, one in Tyrone and the other one off 1st Street North. Front/back office staff at both of these offices are wonderful and always greet you with a smile and always engaged in conversations . Keep up the great work, Dr. Maly! Negative experience: Courtney was rude, uncompassionate and lies to your face. She has no bedside manner whatsoever. They would not allow me to comfort my traumatized fiance. After I finally was allowed to see her, Courtney decided to be confrontational and stand in the doorway and argue. I told her I was about to have an autistic fit and she accused me of threatening her. Is this woman really in a medical field?!? Thank the Lord the dentist was great and things turned out in the end. Courtney is the worst part of the office, no question.

Fantastic experience: I had three teeth pulled from my rotten mouth at this location on two separate occasions. Dr Jakubowski helped me both times with excellent work and professionalism. Best, most capable tooth puller I’ve ever had, and I’ve had four other dentists and oral surgeons in the past. His skill set and consideration is what sets him apart because he is both very thorough and sincere. The staff from reception to techs are terrific. I look forward to any work done in the future being with them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Maly, Kimberly and staff were wonderful yesterday when I had to have a tooth extracted at the last minute. They fit me into the schedule and were very welcoming when I arrived. I had a bad past experience when a tooth extraction and Dr. Maly and Kimberely genuinely listened to my concerns about pain management and numbing. I felt listened to and understood, which is rare from my experience. Kimberely knew that I was anxious about the procedure and stayed with me the entire time. One of the kindest gestures I've ever received in a doctors office. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Maly and staff. They are amazing! I will be returning to begin getting a few implants in the upcoming months.

Fantastic experience: Last Friday August 11th I had to go to Bay Center for Oral & Implant Surgery to have a broken molar tooth removed. Dr Jakubowski and his staff performed a flawless and painless procedure with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Even three days later i have had no pain and back to the gym! I can not believe how comfortable and how great of job Dr Jakubowski performed and I highly recommend him for any oral surgery need you might have! An amazing professional he is!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jakubowski’s team is amazing. The staff are both professional and personable. Dr Jakubowski made quick work of my surgery but made time to instruct me as to follow up procedures and had a kind and compassionate demeanor. Would recommend to anyone any day.

Fantastic experience: Im only 24 hours out of surgery and have no pain and no bleeding. This amazing team of Techs answered all my insane anxiety riddled questions with confidence experience and professionalism. They even made me laugh 5 minutes prior 2 being placed under anesthesia (no small task, I was terrified) The surgeon had a really long name Dr. Jewlenski???(will update when able) but he was calm, kind and immaculate in his work, only needing 15 minutes total (time under sedation) to complete the job and I was up and being walked to my car with my driver, and the technician by my side. Ten-outta- ten would definitely recommend if you need any type of oral surgery w/sedation and have severe anxiety about sedation. This entire team was professional and chill and If I was a better person I would probably send them ALL a Christmas card. Instead I am posting a 100% honest review nobody suggested or asked me to write. Super glad I found yall. You guys... AND WOMAN rock ❤ #

Fantastic experience: As I clearly stated 2 years ago. I would not trust anyone but Dr. Jackabowski to take care of me. I always feel like I'm the only one they care about when om there. It's extremely important when your pulling out teeth. He is #1 with me.

Fantastic experience: My experience with the Tyrone office was great. They provided me with a good estimate of what my surgery was going to cost ahead of my first appointment. During my surgery Dr. Jakubowski was fantastic. He made sure that I was never in any pain (I just had a local) and he told me exactly what to expect before he did it so there were no surprises. It was really nice to know what was happening and what still needed to be done. So far my recovery has been excellent and I didn't need any pain medication after the first night to help me sleep. A+

Fantastic experience: After dealing with pain in an upper molar for over a year and going through TWO root canals, a crown (that got destroyed when the pain didn't stop), and over a dozen trips to my dentist and a poor endodontist I was FINALLY referred to Bay Center for Oral & Implant Surgery. They made me feel comfortable throughout my phone call where they told me exactly what to expect in all aspects. Check-in was a breeze. The entire staff was excellent in making me feel at ease. Dr. Jakubowski was so calm and was additionally easy on the eyes (ha). Erika stayed with me the whole time from prep to me leaving. Dr. Jakubowski was so skilled and got rid of this horrible tooth with great ease. Wow! It's the first time in a year I am pain free. I cannot recommend this office enough. Thank you all for an exceptional experience.

Fantastic experience: Saw me promptly. Explained the procedure. Checked to see if I was okay. Doctor & assistant worked fast to minimize any discomfort. Procedure was completed with no issue. Doctor called the following day to check on me. No pain after the procedure.

Fantastic experience: was super nervous going in but honestly it’s way less scary than you’d think. the nurse was amazing and explained everything that she was going to do and constantly made sure that i was feeling okay. i am currently on the second day of post surgery recovery and while i can feel the holes and some soreness in my jaw i have basically no pain whatsoever in fact i haven’t even gone to pickup the prescription narcotics because i don’t think i’ll need them. Dr. Jakubowski did a great job extracting all 4 of my wisdom teeth all pretty much fully intact. thank the lord he didn’t have to mine them out of my gums or i have a feeling this recovery would be a lot worse. it sucks not being able to eat whatever you want for a week or so but hey at least i don’t have to worry about the pain that i’ve heard a lot of other people have after their wisdom teeth removals. so far so good, i’m sure all the doctors are great but i highly recommend Jakubowski for a wisdom tooth removal.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jesse Jakubowski did an excellent job of extracting a somewhat difficult to extract tooth. The procedure was virtually painless (local anestrecic) and the recovery has gone well. Dr. Jakubowski and his associate were thorough in explaining the procedure and follow up care instructions. The staff at Bay Center Also was helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I’ll just start with , this was the best dental experience I’ve had in my life. I had no idea it didn’t have to hurt and I never knew just how bad of job my dentist had been doing. Dr Maly is really good at his job. Nobody likes to have their teeth worked on but when you do require work to be done, you want to be in the best hands and I felt like I was in the best hands possible. I had a lot of apprehension leading up to this but feel silly for worrying now. I would without a doubt choose this place and Dr Maly for any surgical needs. Plus I like the way they check up on you afterwards. I only wish I could come here for everything, but they did connect me with a regular dentist. I just feel well cared for and I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. They are very good at their job. I am grateful to have found them.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad my dentist referred me to this office for a tooth removal. I was very anxious about the procedure but Dr. Jakubowski and the staff made me feel so comfortable. I did select to get sedation and it was worth every penny to help me relax. It’s been 24 hours and I have no pain. Would recommend this office to anyone.
