Fantastic experience: I took my wife in , our first time there, to get a check up and cleaning. They managed to fit us in for not only the check up and cleaning but ex rays, a periodontal cleaning and all the things that go with it and a filling. Everyone was great !! May was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Heather was very kind and knowledgeable. I can't remember the guys name who did the cleaning but my wife said he was very gentle and kind. The doctor did great with explaining and doing the filling. Wish we had found Sand Bay years ago. We will definitely be back and recommending to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Stop reading the reviews and make your appointment with them!!! This is hands-down the best dental office I have ever been to in my life! My teeth need ALOT of work and they have been working with me for MY best interest every step of the way. The staff is extremely nice and cares about your well-being. Everyone there is beyond phenomenal and extremely gentle with your teeth! Every member that works here goes above and beyond and looks out for your best interest! I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone for any of your dental needs. I would give them a higher rating if there was one because 5 starts just isn’t enough for how phenomenal they are!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience here, especially thanks to Ashley at the front desk. She is an excellent receptionist—always welcoming, organized, and genuinely kind. Every time we spoke, she would say things like “I’ll see you then” or “see you when you get here,” and that small touch really made the whole experience feel more personal and comforting. It meant a lot, especially since I had to bring my mother in twice in one week. The dental assistants were very helpful and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. And Dr. Tarnowski did an exceptional job—he was patient, understanding, and made my mom feel completely at ease. She’s always been afraid of going to the dentist, but he really helped ease that fear. Overall, I truly appreciate the care and professionalism from the entire team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Long story short, my good friend made me go in because it had been awhile since I’ve gone to the dentist. I’m so glad she did because the staff at Sandbay were very welcoming from the receptionist to the dentist and throughout the whole process. They treat you with the best care and make you feel so comfortable that a trip to the dentist turned out to be a pleasant experience. Safe to say I’ll be returning to Sandbay for my treatment!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Dr. David Tarnowski assisted by Sherita Mility-Grant both of whom made me feel very welcome, safe and comfortable. Dr. Tarnowski's filling work was perfect (front teeth). The facility is spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated. The exam rooms have large screen TVs with soothing ocean reef videos playing. Overall I had a good experience and highly recommend Dr. Tarnowski and SandBay Dental. Should the need arise I would definitely go back without hesitation!

Dr Tarnowski was great with my first consultation. I got my teeth cleaned with Binh Nyugen who I found was very thorough. My overall experience with everyone at Sandbay was exceptional.

Fantastic experience: An Amazing Experience for going to Dentist! The receptionist staff was so gracious and welcoming. Then the Nurses were very friendly, putting you at ease. Then Dr Tarnowski was engaging and very professional and friendly. Then headed to get my teeth cleaned and Binh the dental hygienist was so very thorough and detailed. I have to say one of the BEST DENTAL OFFICES, I have ever been to, and I’m 68.

Fantastic experience: SandBay Dental practice- Dr David Tarnowski, DMD General/Cosmetic has been my dentist for over fifteen yrs. I had several dental procedures from bridgework, root canals, crowns, teeth brightning and follow up with 6 months cleaning. The office receptionists and certified Dental Assistants are all knowledgabe in there proffessions and excellent patient care. Erika office manager is also informative with all aspects of insurance plans and assisted me with all my questions. I will continue referring new patients to them and I highly recommend SandBay Dental to anyone searching for a dental practice for themselves and there family.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found this dentist office. Last December just before or just after Christmas I had severe oral pain. I called around frantically looking for a dentist that took my insurance. I found this dentist office. As soon as I walked in I was so so so nervous. I had a traumatic experience with a dentist back in NY state. That one told me I had a cavity that was bad enough it went to my nerve. They drilled and hit the nerve and before last year I hadn't seen a dentist at all in 14 years. I was 33 when I finally saw a dentist again. I was scared. This dental office is 100% amazing. I am not scared to walk into the office. Last December I found I had 6 teeth that had to be pulled and two root canals and that I also had a bad tooth infection. It made eating difficult. Less than a month later I got all 6 teeth pulled. Still haven't had the root canals but that's an insurance issue. Today I have an appointment with the oral hygienist for a routine cleaning. I'm not scared anymore. The staff have been so kind to me and have made me feel something I haven't felt in a dentist office before, they made me feel safe.

Fantastic experience: I recently went in for cleaning and new patient exam. I was extremely pleased with the service and staff in the dental practice. I had fillings done from Dr. David Tarnowski. I have never had such a great experience at a dental office. No pain, very courteous and extremely professional quality of dental care. I highly recommend SandBay Dental and Dr. David Tarnowski.

Negative experience: While the dental care at SandBay Dental has been satisfactory, my experience with the Dental Office Supervisor has been extremely frustrating. Due to an error in filing a claim, a check meant for the office was incorrectly issued to me. I never received or cashed this check, as confirmed by my insurance provider. During one of my recent cleanings, the office called the insurer and reconfirmed this fact, yet the supervisor failed to acknowledge their mistake or offer any apology for the ongoing inconvenience. Instead of resolving this issue professionally, I’ve been repeatedly accused of cashing the check, turning my visits into unnecessarily uncomfortable experiences. The lack of accountability and basic decency from the supervisor is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the practice. I strongly urge SandBay Dental to address these internal issues and provide better training for their staff to ensure a more respectful experience for their patients.

Fantastic experience: Giving this dental facility a 5 star is super easy as they are phenomenal group there. They have what I believe an all star lineup starting at reception with Anastasia greeting you (and taking my money at the end ) that makes you feel welcomed. Following up is Sandy which makes preps super easy and you feel you are in good hands. Dr T who did the procedure for crown molding made it “is that it?” feeling that definitely takes away the fear of going to dentist a thing of the past. I highly encourage to make them your choice for any dental needs. The best thing is they are not backlogged weeks or months.

Positive experience: We are in 2024 and Sandbay wants us to make payments by physical checks and cash to avoid 3% card fees. Can you confirm this is not a spam? If its not then Can you also add venmo or cash app as acceptable forms of payment? That might be helpful to some customers.

Fantastic experience: The entire team is welcoming professional and kind. Going to the dentist can be difficult and the entire staff excel at putting you at ease. And of course the quality of care they deliver is way above average. I have referred the practice to a few friends in need.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is, what a group of wonderful people. They are friendly and very knowledgeable! You can tell that they like their jobs. Always ready to laugh and joke to put a person at ease. There is a surprise waiting for you when you get to exam areas. You will be so surprised, I know I was. Did not even want to leave! Dr. Tarnownowski is an artist. I now have my implants, what a difference. Dr. T adjusted until just right. Asked him if he could help my upper lip(too small). I now have a beautiful upper lip and could not be happier. He is also really patient with the adjustments.

Negative experience: I believe the dental assistants are awesome. What I'm not happy about is I feel I was dumped. Went had dentures. We did have some issues and figured we would get them resolved. But before getting permanent ones I was let go . Never thought that would happen. Thought we had good appointments. But was told to go to periodontist. They don't take my insurance. No warning of this went in to adjust and didn't even look at teeth just see ya. Very disappointed months later I'm having g awful problems with temporary dentures I was left with. So upset.. can't chew most things. Can't afford to go to specialty.

Fantastic experience: When I called the office to make an appointment I talked to a real person (didn't have to be scheduled by a central booking agency that doesn't call back for days). The dentist I wanted to see was in fact available at that office. He (Dr. Tarnowski) introduced himself and explained everything well. Even did one procedure at my first visit! The dental assistant was very nice and did her job well too (Anna). Very happy with the entire experience.

Negative experience: My husband showed up for appointment. He had been doing the regular cleaning every 6 months from previous dental clinic. He told her he only needed regular cleaning. The clerk said he had to do deep cleaning. He said no thanks. She said you had no choice, then charged him $50 for cancellation. This is too wrong. She forced my husband to buy the product he did not need. Legally he showed up for appointment.

Fillings were fast and painless. The assessment was thorough and results were explained clearly. The technicians were friendly, obviously well trained, and clicked seamlessly w Dr. T. I explained what I needed and voila', they got right on it. They realigned my denture in record time and saw me immediately to make adjustments which they did expertly - all of the employees appeared experts with them)! Fantastic experience: Have been passing this totally unsuspecting office for years now. Never knew how much of a hidden gem this place was. Anastasia and Latia at the front desk were wonderful. Very kind and you can tell they enjoy being there. Dr. Moore was amazing and very attentive; it's clear that he has the patient's best interest in mind. Nayeli was my dental assistant today and she was the best part of my visit. She's very attentive to your comfort, and is great to have a conversation with. The whole time I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Nayeli just radiates kind energy, and that means a lot especially to a patient with such severe dental anxiety. The staff is full of diversity and they all seem to enjoy what they do. This office was also able to get me in first thing next morning for the same price any other dentist would cost, or cheaper. They also accept Care Credit which is a major bonus. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Biah-Dental Hygienist Professional, understanding and aware of patient's comfort level. Keep those teeth cleaned. Now for dental side Dr T is great. Everyone else please run from this dental office it's a disaster. From billing to the dental assistant throwing thier 6 ft weave in your face. Having the receptionist in a strap shirt that doesn't cover her gut wanting to remove your temporary saying "I hope I dont put this tool through your mouth". Told her she wasn't appropriately dressed she stated " I don't have the money" missing the whole point she was not dressed appropriately to deal with patient in a button knee sweater REALLY. Take your buisness were you will be treated as a patient not a $$$$$$$$ If your buisness isn't on YELP LOOK OUT

Fantastic experience: Dr T and staff are amazing. My mom wanted to find out about replacing her bridge and some missing teeth she had and what the different options were. Does she need implants? Does she need a bone graft before getting implants? Does she just need new dentures? My mom had a lot of questions and had already seen 2 other dentists and 1 oral surgeon and apparently there are multiple ways to address her problem. The prior dentist we went was so terrible at explaining things to my mom and me we were desperate for another opinion and talk to someone that can explain it in a way we can understand. Dr T was a referral from a friend and former co-worker of mines. I’m so glad we came here and wish we came sooner. The visit did take awhile as there was a lot of discussion and back and forth but at the end we came up with a plan that we understood and were very happy with. I’m so thankful to Dr T for taking a complex issue and breaking it down to simple easy to understand terms, apparently this is a skill not all dentist at other practices possess. If you are reading this and wondering if you should come here, I say yes absolutely!

Fantastic experience: I don't like dentists, and I usually need nitrous gas to get my teeth worked on. But I will have to say I didn't use nitrous and I didn't feel a thing. The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate to make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

They always make me for comfortable and are always very helpful and take the extra time to help with any questions. They are always careful when cleaning my teeth and the value exceeds all dentists I've ever dealt with. You don't feel like you're just a number. Fantastic experience: Incredible place! Best dentist office I've ever been to. Cleanings are top notch. I've even had cavities filled and never felt a thing. This dentist is the best I've been to. My Cleanings and fillings were always painful elsewhere. I never post anywhere or anything online. This is my first time posting. I'm proud to go to sandbay dental. I'll fallow this dentist anywhere! Fantastic experience: My experience with them was nothing less than exceptional from the 1st call all the way through to the end of my appointments. They got me in to have a cleaning and check up on the same day and the staff are incredible!!! Everyone is so nice and informative. They are fair in the assessments made and I would recommend them to everyone I know!!!
