Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the experience my son and I had at your clinic. Prior to our visit, I ensured that all required documents and paperwork were submitted as requested. However, upon arrival, I was informed that additional proof was needed. This was both unexpected and frustrating, particularly given that there had been ample time—over the course of a week—for your office to review and communicate any outstanding requirements in advance. As a result of this lack of preparation, my son missed two days of school, yet no treatment or meaningful progress was made during our visits. This not only caused unnecessary disruption to his education but also resulted in a significant waste of time for both of us. Additionally, I was disappointed by the unprofessional behavior displayed at the front desk. The receptionist’s demeanor came across as dismissive and, at times, inappropriate, which further added to an already negative experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review your administrative processes and staff conduct to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.

Negative experience: This clinic is the worst I've ever been to. I provided them with all the required documents and paperwork, but when my son and I arrived, they told me they needed to provide additional proof. I don't understand why they hadn't prepared anything in a week. My son missed two days of school, and nothing was done at the clinic; he wasted two whole days. The receptionist was also arrogant and gossiped behind my back. I don't recommend taking your son to this dental clinic; it's not a first choice.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found this office. The staff is so friendly & helpful every time and the office is clean. I see Dr.Bilge & she is great!! I have a lot of anxiety around the dentist but she communicates very well & lets me know everything that’s going on. I always have a great experience here, I would absolutely recommend. Edit: I posted this review a year ago. Today, I have completed all of my treatment & will only have to return for routine visits. I want to reiterate that after being a patient here for over a year, this office, Dr.Blige, and all of the staff, are really wonderful. I recommend them to anyone in search of a new dental office. Negative experience: Would not recommend this place to anyone. Went to have a consult and dr told me that I had 6 cavities and 2 possible RCT . I went for second opinions to find out that I have 1 cavities and a “watch” …Dr does not even talk to you about your treatment plan I didn’t felt comfortable at all in that office. 0/10 experience .I hope you guys can do better with you patients

Fantastic experience: I've always been happy with the care I've received from Friendly Dental. I had recently started feeling significant discomfort from a receding gum above one of my teeth. I was able to get a resin filling the day of my check-up and the discomfort immediately went away. I left their office feeling significantly better.

Negative experience: This clinic is good for general dental care but definitely not for braces. There is only one professional and she is rarely in office, and when she is she does a terrible job at keeping records. During my appointment to put on the braces she realized half way she never referred me to get teeth removed even if I wanted to keep them. She then refused to continue and left me with half done brackets. Then at the oral surgeon we realized the referral was for the wrong teeth and I was in danger because of their lack of attention. That was one of the last times I saw her, afterwards I was only attended by unsupervised students who had little to no experience. I believe that for that kind of service I should not be paying the professional price. The payment is another thing, yet again with them not keeping records. I would pay at the beginning of my appointment and then get asked to pay again. when scheduling my next appointment. I do not understand how they cannot even remember me paying a couple minutes before. After my last appointment I am seriously thinking of changing clinics, I was only attend by students I had never seen before and my teeth at current becoming more and more unsymmetrical. I would advise anyone thinking of getting braces to immediately change dentists.

I found Dr. Stephanie Bodnar to be personable without being overbearing. The treatment plan she devised was realistic and reflected my concerns. Negative experience: My recent visit to this orthodontic clinic was unfortunately far from what I expected. While the orthodontist treatment itself was adequate, the orthodontist's demeanor was disappointing. I found the orthodontist to be less than friendly, and the interactions were marked by a LACK of patience and understanding. A trip to the orthodontist is already anxiety-inducing for many patients especially children, my child left the practice asking me why is she so cruel she made me feel really bad as a person. Encountering a practitioner who appears dismissive only adds to the stress. Effective communication and empathy are crucial in any healthcare profession, and regrettably, these were lacking in this experience. I believe a more patient-centric approach would greatly enhance the overall experience for individuals seeking orthodontic care. Also, I would like to discuss the orthodontist behavior towards her staff was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Witnessing her belittling and disrespectful attitude towards the team was disheartening. The overall atmosphere in the clinic was tense, and it was evident that the staff was uncomfortable. It's alarming when a healthcare professional, whose job is to promote well-being, fails to extend basic courtesy and respect to her own colleagues. The lack of professionalism not only affected the staff but also tainted the entire experience for me as a patient. A dentist's office should be a place of comfort and care, but sadly, this was not the case. I sincerely hope that this feedback serves as a wake-up call for the dentist to reevaluate her approach towards both her staff and patients. A positive and respectful demeanor should be a fundamental aspect of any healthcare practice.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Ironbound a couple years ago and I have been going to Friendly Dental. I am completely 100% happy with their service, wait time is short and employees are all professional. I would definitely recommend you go there for your dental needs. You're given a cost breakdown and care plan regarding what services you need going forward.
