Negative experience: Hello everyone, I went in for a standard cleaning at this location and I have sensitive teeth. I jumped twice because of my teeth sensitivity and the dentist got up and moved and said I needed a deep cleaning and she would not continue forward after I paid $110. Please do not go to this dentist!!!

Negative experience: I find it really messed up that my wisdom tooth needs to come out and they are giving me the run around. I’m having a lot of discomfort and pain they’d rather deal with other teeth instead of the one that’s bothering me. After my appointment on the 7th of June I will be finding another dentist to go to. The lady that worked on my mouth couldn’t give me a reason as to why she couldn’t pull it, the pain medication she gave me for what she worked on that day doesn’t work for the pain that I’m having from my wisdom tooth. They referred me to another dentist that wants me to wait almost another three weeks until I can get an appointment to be seen. I ask her will they be able to pull it when I come in and she said she don’t know they will have to look at it first, which is crazy. I never had an issue with smile dental until now you don’t just send your patient home in pain without any care that’s wrong. Edited: December 4th I returned here December 2nd to set an in person appointment for them to fix a crown that they did which broke about a week ago. And the Indian lady was very rude as always and denied me service. First she lied and said that I didn’t get it done there, I told her I did. Then she goes to say the dentist who did it didn’t work there anymore refusing me service, then she goes to say she wont do it because of this review that I left. Which I had every right to because I was in pain & mistreated. It’s been over 3yrs since I’ve been to this dentist and she’s upset about a review, I never disrespected anyone only told the truth and there the only dentist who can fix it with the insurance that I have because they did it which my policy says and they won’t do it. Not to mention if you look at their response to this initial review they offered to basically accommodate me, which I find is only to convince new clients that they serve good customer service but she gave me an attitude and turned me around in person. I am really upset because now I have to walk around with a broken tooth in the front.

Negative experience: I went there for the first time two weeks ago and the experience was horrible. I went there for a fill in and a cleaning was told that I needed to see a specialist, for what i.do not know never told me why I needed to se a specialist, then I preceded to tell him to pull the tooth, he told me he couldn't I asked he to tell me why he couldn't pull it. He couldn't tell me why. Please do not go to this dentist. I wouldn't recommend my wort enemy to this denist

Fantastic experience: Dr Usha is the best dentist in Irvington, NJ. I had my first root canal done and I was so nervous but with Dr Usha’s expertise she made me feel so comfortable and she was very gentle and made sure I was ok throughout the whole process. The staff is also very helpful, friendly and professional.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for 2pm. Got there few mins earlier. Sat about an hour got up around 2:44 to ask if I’ll be seen before 3:30 because I have my kids to pickup and they said no. Like why schedule me for 2pm then? How long am I supposed to be sitting waiting there? I wasted over a hour of my time just to not be seen smh

Negative experience: Anytime I go there is someone that has an attitude like I owe them something. They denied to do my teeth cleaning because I have gingivitis and 8 months pregnant, honestly they're lazy ! I called another dentist and they have no problem doing it, and was confused about why I was denied to be seen at "smile dentist " . It be crowded in the waiting room and dentists not doing anything in the back their lazy as hell !

Negative experience: Good Afternoon I had made 3 new appointments for my bother,grandmother and myself. So let start off I entered the office and noticed signs stating you must wear a mask, so I asked the Lady at the desk did she have a mask (Muslim)her reply I don't have a mask, the lady sitting next to her kindly replied you don't need one, I replied thank you. The lady (Muslim) ask about my brother couldn't hardly understand be she is all masked up. I replied excuse me I didn't hear you, and why are you speaking to me as such, she then threw the paper to the lady sitting next you her. She was on the phone and ask me to wait, I could understand her professionalism be now I not speaking to her and she standing up pointing her finger. And yelling and yeas I replied in the same manner. I guess she think we all are unprofessional and on medicaid as like the ones on the waiting room, but that never here nor there everyone should be treated with respect. So I left and I received a called from the insurance coordinator apologizing stating that not how we operate. (Muslim stated that my employee, you don't own anything and if you work for me you would call yourself and office manager). She asked me to return with that atmosphere I would not feel safe, because now I would be afraid of dirty instruments being use, because my first impression is my last impression. So the first people I come in contact with represent your business what am I going to receive behind closed doors. I want to thank the insurance officer for the follow up call. If the Oofice Manager is allowed to act as such h just imagine the service if you have a complaint, once the received their funds they would kick you out. Also my appointments was originally for 1230,100,and 130, and I received a call to come in early for this foolishness, wasting my time.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say, this is one of the best dentists that I have been too Smile has the right name , the staff is always kind and friendly, I went in for a problem with my gums and I was referred to an oral surgeon, they made sure they sent my xrays over right away so I can get this problem taken care of right away, Dr. Usha is amazing she takes the time to explain everything to you and while I was there I also got fitted for dentures which was fast , Mr. Syed is very nice and friendly, he did my fitting and he kept asking if i was alright , they truly care about their patients and I recommend that anyone looking for a nice Dentist and pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff come here, they are wonderful , everyone in the office. Keep up the great job.

Negative experience: This is the worst place ever. The work is horrible. You will pay for it later on. I went here in 2015 to get some work done on my mouth. I stopped going because the dentist was horrible and she is MONEY HUNGRY. Fast forward, I went to the oral surgeon to get a tooth removed and I couldn’t get it removed because the surgeon said I have three crowns molded together as a bridge. I go back to this dentist who performed the dental work and she denied me any service. She did the work on my mouth and didn’t want to fix it. First the receptionist told me that the doctor that did the work does not work there anymore. So I asked her who is the doctor and she gave me the same name my insurance gave me. Meanwhile this doctor told her she didn’t want to do it. Please do not go here. She messed my mouth up so bad I am paying for it now
