Fantastic experience: I was in this week for a routine cleaning and a quick checkup and once again I was impressed with the care I received from everybody on the staff. They make it so that you actually look forward to going to the Dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice. Very easy, very short wait. The dental hygienist is super sweet and gentle. The front desk staff are nice and professional. Dr. Ross is personable. This is not a scary experience at all. The best dentist office I've ever been to and I so appreciate the small hometown office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. J and I created a game plan And consisted of six different appointments I came to the last appointment today and he and Jaymee were absolutely amazing. There was a discrepancy with Billing and Natalie at Reception and Dr. J handled it with Grace And corrected it. I truly am so very grateful. I had the same Dentist for 32 years and when I moved to Ventura, I realize how I was being bullied and what real dentistry, knowledgeable and kind people these are. I’m in great safe hands and I have a fun smile now.

I have lots of respect for this office. My mother passed away 3 months shy of 91 years old and she also really love this office which says a lot because she could not stand any previous dentist that I took her to.

Fantastic experience: I live on the east coast and my mother lives here on the west coast. Four years ago while visiting my mother I chipped a tooth. Dr Ross’s office was able to get me in right away. I really felt comfortable with Dr Ross’s knowledge and conscientious care. I didn’t think I would be back but unfortunately while visiting mom again, I broke a tooth in 23 and lost a cap this year (26). The staff was again able to get me in and shuffled schedules around so I could finish with the necessary dental care before going back home. Bottom line is Dr Ross is excellent, he took time to explain treatment and options and did a beautiful job on my teeth. The staff is wonderful, kind and do the best they can for their client.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience with Dr. Ross and his staff! I am in need of a few fillings and was recommended to come here, and I am so glad I did! Dr. Ross made sure my experience was painless and as comfortable as possible. I was nervous about the novocaine portion, but I was shocked at how little I felt when he was administering it, making sure to check with me that I was okay the entire time. No one loves going to the dentist, but I felt like I was in the best hands. Dr. Ross was very attentive, making sure I was doing well throughout the procedure. It was fairly quick and I felt nothing! I have two more fillings I need to get done and I am confident about coming back knowing I will be taken care of and will not experience any pain!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross and his staff are always so friendly, kind, and compassionate. They make you feel welcome and when you are afraid no matter what age they aren’t mean or rude they will in fact talk to you for me I needed the security that things were ok. The nurse would rub my shoulder and let me know things were ok and that i just needed to raise a hand and they would stop. As annoying as it may be and time consuming they still will stop and take that time and care with you. I love this office and my dentist and his staff. I do not care for dental work but they make it as easy as possible. The only dentist office for me!!

Fantastic experience: Before beginning my teeth cleaning, the team at J.D. Ross, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), the Dental Hygienist conducted a careful examination of my mouth to identify any abnormalities or concerns that might require follow-up. The Dental Hygienist professionally took new X-rays so they could compare them with my previous visit and assess any changes. She asked whether I had noticed any issues with my teeth or mouth, giving her a chance to address, correct, or follow up on anything before starting. She then performed a thorough assessment of my gums, including measuring the gum coverage around each tooth, to ensure that there were no signs of gum disease or recession. Only after completing all of these evaluations did she proceed with the cleaning, removing plaque and any remaining buildup between the teeth with great care and professionalism. A very thorough and professional experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After having the same veneer/crown for 30+ years on my front tooth, it had become discolored and needed to be replaced. I was quite terrified of having someone drill a layer of enamel/composite off which is why I hadn't bothered to replace it before. Dr. Ross and his staff were all incredible. He did an excellent job matching the color and making it painless. The staff assuaged my fears and were each great to work with. No one tried to upsell me. They recommended what would work best for me and my budget. Honest, trustworthy, easy to talk to - they're a great team!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Ross by an oral surgeon from Oregon. At first I was not happy with my smile and thought I wanted veneers. Dr. Ross explained to me how invasive that process was and once you do it there's no going back plus the maintenance they require. He convinced me to straighten my teeth with Invisalign which I did. It was a long process but it was so worthy after 2 rounds. His assistant recommended I use the trays to whiten my teeth so at the end I could get the broken edges fixed to have a perfect and beautiful smile. I appreciate Dr. Ross not being like other 2 Dr.s that told me my teeth were not good and just wanted me to pay for full mouth of veneers. His conservative approach has benefited me and I appreciate him fixing the edges of my upper teeth. His staff are always super nice and friendly. They continue to take good care of my 3 daughters. As for me I will continue to make the commute from LA to see him because let me tell you it's hard to find a great dentist. Gracias Dr. Ross, Nancy and Anel!

I waited less than 10 minutes between the time I filled out my new patient paperwork and the beginning of my appointment, which was pretty incredible. Dr. Ross is both knowledgeable and caring in conveying the information that I needed to know regarding the health of my teeth, not just for the immediate term, but also for the long-term as well. And he took the time to map out a complete game plan on how I could get to a place of complete health from a dental perspective. Irene, who was the hygienist did an excellent job in the initial cleaning and was very professional and patient. She even gave recommendations on the best toothbrushes that I could use going forward. Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I had neglected my dental hygiene and yearly cleaning for over five years and knew that it wouldn’t be the easiest appointment. However, my new patient check in was painless (for the most part ;)). Dr. Ross went through all the x-rays and explained the problems in a coherent and compassionate way. The staff there is also so kind and works with insurance so you know upfront what the cost will be. The office itself is super clean and well decorated with plenty of natural light. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience. I have been going to a different dentist for years talking about a tooth that was giving me problems I was told it was nothing to worry. Dr Ross found all the problems very thorough at listening and talking through a care plan with all details listed. I was impressed by his kind and helpful staff. They are the backbone to any great office. Hygienist was great took the time and very knowledgeable. The official was very clean no clutter and welcoming. This is the only dentist I want to see. If you are looking for one you should see him and if you are questioning your dentist you should give him a try

Fantastic experience: At today's visit, Dr. Ross took extra time to help me with a nightguard to remedy (as much as possible) the jaw clenching and stress on my teeth. His team has a strong patient-service approach. I always feel welcome, cared about and confident that they are watching out for my dental needs. I highly recommend this dental practice.
