Fantastic experience: Dr Han Han was great and Dee and Gabby did they thing also if I could leave 10 stars l would!!

Negative experience: The office is friendly and initially professional. However, it does not make up for the lack of transparency, I had a crown made in the office which is not covered by my insurance. The dentist Christina Hanhan, said the kind of crown you need is not covered, and presents it as a specialty crown for your tooth... she did not tell me that this crown is not covered because it's going to be done on the same day!!!...I had no idea same day service is not covered...they don't mention that...they just say I can do this same day...this is misleading and I was charged the whole amount only to find out by my insurance co., if she would have sent it to the lab it would be covered, not explaining my dental benefits to me to get the sale for the same day crown, I called my insurance and they said it is the same type of crown, just uses a different resin to be same day! In my opinion the dentist is not thinking about the patient options in payment, rather sealing a deal on a same day crown, which if you have insurance, why not use it!!!... I would have only paid a fraction of the cost! My wife came in and spoke to the office manager, and they reimbursed me a very small amount to what I paid...and of course they still get paid what the insurance allows for the crown...which they state is not covered! go figure...this office is very friendly but beware of the sales tactics, the front office billing coordinator, only speaks about charges, but does not clarify what is covered and not covered in each itemized service, rather all together, very confusing and I would not recommend. I went in thinking I was going to enjoy using my insurance, but they ended enjoying my payment, and it was not cheap!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience from start to finish! Dee did an excellent job with my X-rays and made sure I was comfortable and taken care of throughout the process. Emely was awesome during my deep cleaning, she was thorough, professional, and made the experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Kristina Hanhan was also fantastic. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything I needed done, answered my questions, and made sure I understood the plan moving forward. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice, caring, and professional. Going to the dentist isn’t always something you look forward to, but the entire team made it a genuinely pleasurable experience. I would definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t had a dental cleaning in a few years, so I was a little nervous about finding a new dental office, but I truly could not have had a better experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Millie, who had also helped me over the phone the day before with my insurance. She was so welcoming and made everything incredibly easy, which immediately helped calm my nerves. I was then seen by Dr. Hanhan and Daiyanah right at my scheduled appointment time, which was so appreciated! They took the time to explain everything we would be doing during my visit. Daiyanah did all of my X-rays, which is usually my least favorite part of going to the dentist, but she was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind that I honestly didn’t mind them at all! Dr. Hanhan was extremely calm and so nice, she really cares about her patients and establishing a treatment plan just like she did for me today! Millie even came back from the front desk to personally explain the pricing and insurance breakdown to me. I’ve never had a dental office take the time to do that before, and it made such a difference. I felt completely involved in the process and actually understood exactly what I was being charged for and what my insurance covered. I then met Gabby, who cleaned my teeth, and she was amazing! She was professional, gentle, and made the entire cleaning so comfortable. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made what I was nervous about going into such an easy and positive experience. I would 100% recommend this dental office and their team, especially to anyone who may be nervous about going to the dentist or hasn’t been in a while. I’m so glad I chose them! Fantastic experience: When I walked in, I noticed the office was clean, light, and bright. The whole staff was very friendly. Each person I dealt with was very organized and thorough. They explained every x-ray, procedure, and insurance information very clearly. I saw Dr. Hanhan: she was warm, friendly, and kind. She asked about my dental history, as well as getting to know me a little bit before starting. She seemed honest and knowledge. I was at ease during my whole appointment.

Negative experience: BEWARE! Read the reviews regarding billing issues. We had significant billing and insurance issues with this office. After reviewing EOBs, fee schedules, and speaking directly with MetLife, charges required credits or refunds because they did not initially align with insurance allowances and contracted rates as an in-network provider. Resolving the issues required multiple follow-ups and extensive review of my account. I cannot recommend this office to anyone. If you chose to use them, make sure to review all documentation, request itemized receipts and verify insurance coverage before making large payments. We are out a lot of money because of their poor billing practices.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Riverview Modern Dentistry today! Rachel, my dental hygienist, was incredibly kind, gentle, and thorough. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and did an excellent job explaining everything she was doing. Dr. Hanhan was just as wonderful—professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and made the visit stress-free from start to finish. I had my braces removed today, and they made the experience even more exciting! Fantastic experience: Since I was a kid, like many people…I disliked the dentist and felt too many dentists would try to essentially shame their patients. That is not the case here at all. I had a few cavities that needed to get filled and needed a root canal but they approached it with grace and both the dentists here and hygienists have been absolutely incredible. I usually make my appointments with my wife and they always get excited to see us especially when we bring our 9 month old son. They have made us feel like valued patients and it’s made a world of a difference for us after so many bad experiences from other practices!

Fantastic experience: I’d like to share my experience after visiting this dental office for the first time. I was nervous because I hadn’t taken care of my dental health in a very long time. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt comfortable. The office has helpful and informative displays throughout, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I didn’t even wait five minutes in the waiting room. Dr. Dietrich greeted me first and took a few minutes to get to know me. It felt more like talking to a family member than meeting a dentist for the first time. After that, I had a comprehensive exam, and I was truly impressed by the advanced technology they use. I was cared for by about six different team members, and every one of them was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. At the end of my visit, Dr. Dietrich carefully reviewed my digital images and explained in detail everything I need to improve my dental health. I left feeling informed, confident, and motivated to move forward with my treatment. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding dental care and exceptional customer service! P.D Millie helped explain the costs to me and was very kind. And Gabby is an excellent receptionist. I felt like I was at a dental version of Disney!

Fantastic experience: I got to meet almost all the staff while they were fixing up my wreckage of a mouth and they're all friendly and welcoming! I appreciated that they explained why I needed to get some procedures done, broke down how much they would cost before giving me the choice to proceed with them or not, and took great care for what I had done. Most places I've been to tally things up after you've had procedures done.

Fantastic experience: New client experience here. Tina on the phone did my intake and was able to get me in the next day. Receptionist was kind and managed an influx of customers very well. My technician "T" was engaging and genuine. Dr Misiewicz was thorough, explained what to expect for the visit and then followed up with explanations as I was guided through a very different but welcomed approach to a dental examination. I appreciate the offices apparent attention to modern dental technology and tests. Tina gave me a informative insurance breakdown of the work done and options and I can to move forward. Gabby was great too, just didn't spend as much time with them. Overall, 5 star experience, no complaints.

Unfortunately their billing department constantly tries to tack on a $25 flouride charge for flouride I specifically ask to not have. Since this has happened 4 times, I must lower my rating down to 3 stars,

Fantastic experience: The office is modern and clean. The receptionists are very kind and attentive. Dr. Hanhan greeted me, which I have never experienced at a dental office before! Dr. Hanhan asked about my reason for coming in today and proceeded to inform me of what to expect of my first-time visit to the office. The dental assistant greeted me quickly and, with amazing bedside manner, completed all of my x-rays. I felt in great care and company with all of the staff. There was a longer than expected wait for the hygienist to get to me; she was amazing though and extremely thorough. A nearly perfect experience!

Fantastic experience: Dee and Dr. Dietrich were so kind and calming. We were given blankets when we were cold and made to feel comfortable in what can sometimes be an uncomfortable situation (the dentist lol). Overall I will definitely be coming back. Thank you guys!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Thomas, April, Gabby, and Tris have now positively changed my feelings when it comes to dental work. Upon entering the office, I was pleasantly greeted by office manager Tris and her billing explanation and knowledge are light years beyond other dentist I have been to. Once entering the patient room and receiving x-rays from Ms. April, everything I thought about dentistry turned upside down. The conversations, explanations, and the out of this world care for patient’s is clear and present at this office. Gabby, my hygienist was wonderful and collectively as a team I can clearly see why they are rated high and recommended. Clear, explanations, and unlimited transparency, made me feel absolutely comfortable during my visit. This will not be the last, and now my family will be getting their work done here as well. Fantastic experience: Wednesday the 17th 2026 I had an appointment to have two teeth extracted by Dentist/surgeon was Dr. Sanchez. He was absolutely amazing And friendly I also have to give the staff that’s in the building and on site. Everybody is excellent from the girls at the desk to the individuals in the back that do x-rays and everything everybody there is absolutely just excellent staff made me feel very comfortable.

Riverview Modern Dentistry exceeded all of my expectations. The entire staff was welcoming, compassionate, and professional. They took the time to understand my medical history and how it impacted my dental health, which meant a lot to me. Dr. HanHan thoroughly explained my dental issues and treatment options, making sure I understood everything and felt comfortable with the plan moving forward. Dr. Osaka did an amazing job with my wisdom tooth extraction. I was honestly expecting pain and discomfort, but the procedure went so smoothly that I’ve had virtually no pain afterward. His skill and professionalism gave me complete confidence throughout the process. Gabby, my hygienist, was fantastic. She took the time to look over my teeth carefully, made sure everything felt clean, and genuinely seemed to care about my oral health. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does and wants the best for her patients. Dr. Hanhan was absolutely amazing and truly deserves special recognition. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. Fantastic experience: I’m extremely pleased with the experience thus far with at the Riverview Modern Dentistry. Few months ago being in the office for a regular appointment I was overcome with a lot of emotions (ugly crying) - the tragic loss of my father in law and my mother’s cancer diagnosis hit hard that morning. The staff at front desk noticed and checked in on me, giving me tissue and offering a drink. They even called once I reached home to check in. The small gesture made a huge difference. At my most recent appointment the Dr Dietrich remembered the challenges I was facing and was sure to check in on how the family and I are doing - even remembered my husband’s name. The great bedside manners and professionalism are usually expected; the intentionality is what differentiates RMD from any other dental place. If you are looking for a dentist in the Riverview Area who truly cares about their patients and not just their profits I highly recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: My son recently aged out of pediatric dentistry, so I didn’t hesitate to get him scheduled with Riverview Modern Dentistry. To my surprise, they were able to schedule us both on the same day within the same time frame. Per the usual, the staff was very friendly and got my son comfortable for his cleaning and exam. Dr. Lutjemeyer did an awesome job of explaining everything that he needs done and stressed the importance of it all. Brittney was helpful in breaking down the financial side of it and educated me on the different options available. Additionally, Ivanna and Emely were just as amazing and helpful for my appointment. They also did an exceptional job of keeping me in the loop of what I need to place focus on for my own dental hygiene. I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half and I’ve had zero issues whatsoever. If you’re in search of dental care, please do yourself a favor and come check out Riverview Modern Dentistry! Everyone here is super friendly, funny and as an added bonus, they play pretty good music throughout the building!

Negative experience: Welcoming environment & staff were friendly. Other than that, there were a lot of senseless charges, a regular maintenance cleaning costs close to $200 even with my insurance while my copay was a fraction of that cost. There were a lot of made up charges, for instance they tried to charge $55 for cancer screening, which I declined but was told "it was supposed to be 25$, the system had it wrong" so only 25$ was deducted from my charge when I was initially charge $55, like make that makes sense! I knew right then and there I wouldn't be back but I should've just left & do my cleaning elsewhere because I definitely have been scammed. & of course when I asked for a copy of the itemized bill, I'm still waiting.

Fantastic experience: What an extraordinary experience! We recently visited the Riverview Modern Dentistry office for the first time for a complex review of my wife’s dental issues. Our first impression was somewhat of disbelief when we noticed how young the members of the staff looked for what we considered an experience demanding profession. Everything changed when we started receiving attention from them. We were treated royally. We were impressed by their professionalism and understanding of the inherent stress normally associated with visits to the dentist. Although I’m not really into the current evaluation of services everywhere we go, I feel compelled to recognize the ambiance in this office. I will use the Care Team’s names because it’s only fair to do so. Everything started with the phone call to inquire about their availability for appointments and the coverage with our dental plan. Millie (Milagro) the Front Desk and Patient Portal Page setup answered the phone. She made sure we understood the requirements to complete the patient information package and offered additional options to complete the forms either online or at the office with individual support. Then we met Brittney, the Insurance & Health Care Coordinator when we arrived at the office as instructed. She was covering the front desk because it was, basically, lunch time. She patiently covered in detail our insurance coverage and bill payment options, coordination & setup to maximize our coverage and understand the different options available to cover our bill. Emely Garcia, the Hygienist, was the first to evaluate my wife in a very specific and detailed manner. She emphasized in my wife’s comfort during the whole evaluation. Dr. Kristina Hanhan arrived promptly and immediately made sure to relax and comfort the patient as she explained the detailed procedure she must complete and whatever additional procedures should follow for her wellbeing. April, the Dental Assistant followed doctor Hanhan and covered additional details of their availability for additional counselling and orientation as she felt necessary. Gabriela Giles, the CRDH Hygienist, affectionately known as Gabby, confirmed my wife was feeling well after the procedure and ensured she didn’t require additional attention before we left. I could go on but, the only thing I want to add is that we will recommend this practice to all my relatives and friends because of the extraordinary service we received. We’ll be back!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hanhan did a great job on my crown! She made sure I was comfortable and in no pain throughout the process and the final result fits perfectly! The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely live up to their name of being a modern dentistry office.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this business. I was very impressed by ALL the staff. They were very friendly and professional. The office was new and very nice. Dee, Tee, and Tris assisted me. Dr. Lutjemeyer was very personal and really put me at ease. The office manager showed me and discussed what was being done and the cost. I was able to have a payment plan that really helped with the cost. I had a root canal and a crown put on. I was surprised to learn that the crown had a 5 year warranty. I have never had a crown with a warranty! They were able to make the crown there, which saved me waiting and having another visit. I would recommend this office to anyone. Laurie Gallo

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough great things about this office. The staff genuinely care for their patients and are excellent professionals. Unfortunately, my insurance plan changed and I went to an in-network clinic which was a horrible experience. I came back to Riverview Modern Dentistry because their service doesn't compare to others. They offer a self pay plan which is affordable and worth every penny. I refuse to go anywhere else, they are the best dental office I've ever had.

Fantastic experience: Tristan, Dr. Dietrich, & Teasja were amazing! I needed an emergency appt after cracking my tooth and was in excruciating pain! Not only did they squeeze me in AND take me back early, the atmosphere was amazing! Dr. Dietrich explained everything to where I could understand what services I needed/received & I felt the genuine concern they gave me. Also, the finance options can’t be beat! I live in Gainesville, FL but with a dental team this good, I’ll be making them my permanent dental home! Keep up the great work guys!!! Fantastic experience: Just moved to Riverview with my fiancée and found the best dental practice. Tris was welcoming & helpful with insurance when I arrived. Te’Asja was patient & kind during my initial exam/x-ray’s. Dr. Dietrich was professional & personable during the procedure to fix my chipped tooth. The entire staff was excellent and it was by far the best dental experience I’ve had!

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have ever been happy about a dentist office. The entire staff is great. They really do care about you and your well being and not just the money from insurance. I haven't been to a dentist in a while, and when I went. I told them my expectations, my plans and my goals, and they showed me everything I needed to complete the goals, then sat with me privately to go over my budget, financing options, and what I wanted to start on first. I then had some fillings, cleanings, and then got all 4 of my wisdoms taken out. The doctor, oral serg are all very nice and really do care about you. They listen to your concerns. Not only was he fantastic/professional/ and caring, all of his staff were as well. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone that has a fear of dentists like I do myself. Prior to coming here for an evaluation I went to multiple other practices in the area and it is very clear many try to take advantage just to get more money in their pockets. Riverview Modern Modern Dentistry is not like that at all. I am so blessed to have found this practice!

Fantastic experience: Honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable instead of rushed or nervous. They even gave me a blanket when I was cold, which was such a small thing but meant a lot. Big shoutout to Emely, Brittney, and Dr. Hanhan. They were all amazing, really attentive, and made everything easy to understand. Even with a tight budget, they worked with me to find a solution that actually worked. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. I haven't been to a dentist is over 6 years. I felt no judgment about not seeing a dentist for so long. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and I was even given a throw blanket to keep warm in the chilly room. I am happy with the level of care and my deep cleaning result (sooo clean!!!) The best dental experience I've ever had. Bonus, I was able to get a Saturday appt as a new patient!!! Highly recommend if you are in need of a check up.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this facility at all. Even though I have the best insurance which covers 90% off all procedures they claimed insurance will not cover and took 1400$ from me. Once insurance claim was processed they paid almost the full amount as I mentioned to them but now they are not returning money which they took out of me. People who sit in the front desk and do all billing job does not have any proper knowledge or patience to look for the correct information. I will file all necessary complaints and will recommend everyone to stay way from this ‘business’ entity. Huge 1 star.

Fantastic experience: Millie at the front desk and Dr. Lutjemeyer made a huge impression on both me and my wife. I was seen last week and my wife was seen this week, and we both had an amazing experience. Millie is honestly one of the most genuine and kind people you’ll meet. She makes you feel welcome the second you walk in and just brings a really good energy to the whole place. Dr. Lutjemeyer was just as great. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel comfortable the entire visit. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and the work she does. Riverview Modern Dentistry is easily one of the best dental offices in the area. It’s hard to find a place that makes you feel this comfortable and taken care of. I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

If you have any sort of fear of the dentist this is the office you have to visit. In fact this entire office is like the Chik-fil-a of dentistry.
