Negative experience: My experience with this office has been down right unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter for her cleaning as a new patient. I received a call the morning of and was told need to reschedule. So I rescheduled, only to be told the same thing today that I need to reschedule, yet again. Twice this has happened, very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for a while now, the whole staff is very kind, helpful, very patient and the work they do, you can tell they really do care for your dental health and work very hard at achieving your mouth health goals. The amount of patience they have with me is commendable. Their great attitude, work and care is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed. Thank you to the whole Valley Dental Care of Plainfield for always a pleasant experience and outcome.

Negative experience: The receptionist is very rude. I walked in and she was yelling at someone on the phone. I asked why they did not get back to me for 4 weeks she said I was rude and to got to a different dentist.

She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and honest, and I felt completely confident in the care I received. She took excellent care of me and made the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. Negative experience: I will not really return to this Dentist, I am sore and disappointed with how I left the procedure of extraction of teeth halfway, I also left my tooth protruding and I could not close my mouth completely, she did not care how much I moved from the pain, not only to me, but also to my daughter that hers was just a cleaning, it also turned out to be a painful procedure, definitely a very abrupt treatment. Finally, the recommendation of this dentist was that she will look for a specialist, thank God I was able to find another dentist who performed the procedure without being a surgeon but with a lot of professionalism.

When you entrust a medical professional with your care, you expect both expertise and compassion. While the supporting team upheld their end, the dentist’s demeanor made the entire visit negative for me. I value my health too highly to continue somewhere that doesn’t prioritize patient well-being. For that reason, I won’t be returning. I copied this coz is my case too. This is my story the same as she made something wrong coz now my teeth hurt worse than I came . Very strange doctor.

Fantastic experience: This is late!! And im so sorry!! I had to have some dental work done.. I am so affraid of the dentist! I go in and the nicest lady took my name.. I had alot of paper work to fill out! They called my name and then.. the other nicest lady Kasha (im sure im spelling it wrong) brought me back and calmed me by just talking to me! I really appreciate the time she took to go over everything with me so I understood it. Then Dr. came in! Dr. Madison? I think im close. Super calm! Super nice very helpful! Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more stars! From working with Lisa at the front Desk and Dr. Aparna my experience was wonderful. I have very severe dental anxiety and I needed to have a tooth checked with a cracked filling. The dentist made sure I was comfortable and explained my options to me. They even helped secure an appointment same day to start my root canal. Thank you Valley Dental for your kindess and gentle dentle practice. I appreciate you more than you will know.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? They worked with me to get a quick appointment. Made a great treatment plan and the doctor and hygienist were very sweet and reassuring during the procedure. The ladies in the front, Lisa and I can't remember the other lady's name are very welcoming. Lisa even knew my name when I walked in! Fantastic experience: Professional and courteous. Assisted on improving hygiene and habits as well as treating everything that ailed me from cavities to gingivitis and bridges to referrals for implants. I'm now able to come in for regular cleaning with no pain!

Negative experience: I'm not happy with the service! I went there for a regular cleaning and a filler. I will have to redo the filler.

Fantastic experience: We have been getting care for all the Dental needs of our family, including my in-laws and our children from Dr. Gottumukkala for the last five years. She has provided all levels of dental needs, including general cleaning, tooth extraction and cavity care . . She also has given us excellent referral for procedures needing a higher level of care and is able to accommodate some of those services at her clinic . The staff and her assistants are very friendly. I have always been able to schedule and reschedule the appointments for my family with ease . I highly recommend Valley dental of Plainfield for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I love this office, the dentist is really caring, patient, and actually listens to your concerns. The dental assistants are really great and easy to talk to. The front desk ladies, whom also at times assistant the dentist in the back are sweethearts. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable. My whole family goes here. Also, their main color scheme is purple! I love purple lol the color makes me feel relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice to see Dr. Gottumukkula for over 5 years. I have never been disappointed with the service and care she gives. Even though her office is 15 miles from our home, our entire family drives the distance because we love her as our doctor. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a permanent dentist.

Negative experience: The receptionist and managers had horrible manners and an inability to properly communicate. They refuse to admit any fault or take responsibility when their judgment is wrong. As a patient it was very frustrating getting braces done with them. Not to mention they rarely answered the phone making it difficult to contact them.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I had braces done here for three years and the results were less than satisfactory. If anything the results were worse than what my teeth had looked like originally. I asked if I could get some kind of compensation for the time and money I wasted and they stated it was out of their hands. They were rude and didn’t know how to properly communicate with their patients, not to mention they rarely answered their phone making it difficult to contact them.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the dentist and her staff.They were so good with my two little girls. They were kind and they apologized for the wait which wasn't long at all. I think I found our forever dentist. If you want quality care this is the place you should go.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE . 4 months later they charged my Insurance lying saying I did a visit for an emergency palliative treatment! I went back to adjust a filling that the so called “dentist” left way too high! I made sure with the front ladies that there would be no charge and they confirmed. THEY LIED. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD THAT A PROFESSIONAL dentist charges $200 for 2 seconds to shave down a filling that Was already payed previously at $1,000 she’s super thirsty for the money $$$ and will mess up your teeth anyway because I had to have the fillings redone somewhere else trust me she’s not good. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. All she cares is about profiting her pockets!

Negative experience: Do not come here . She permanently messed up my wife’s perfectly healthy tooth by doing a filling that she never even needed she lied saying there was a cavity. Other HONEST dentist showed proof there was never one. All she cares about is $$$$ .. Look at the other negative reviews! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Do not trust her with your teeth

Negative experience: These people are horrible. They fitted my crowns 4 times before they even fit. They cut my tongue during a procedure and didn’t even say any thing about it, did not give me gauze or any thing, just let me sit there and leave the place, bleeding. The worst part is? One of the crowns needs to be replaced because there is a chip on it that is seen in x-rays at a different dental facility. They said the chip is in no way my fault, that the place fitted it, chipped, before putting it on me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at this location ever since I was a child and I can say that I’ve grown well within the treatments that I have completed within this location. Valley dental has a very solid crew who work together with a kind spirit and foster a great job with fixing and modeling teeth. Fantastic experience: dr Aparna and the whole staff at valley dental care of Plainfield are so very professional and also amazing, I was very afraid when I had my tooth pulled and Kaylah was so very comforting.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. Please save yourself some grief. I did have issues with my upper teeth and I am not saying that I did not but instead of milking my insurance, I was told by a couple of other dentist i should have had a dental denture implant for my uppers, that it wasn't worth what she obviously was trying to do. Which was never an option here and I was told no they could make them better. Well now it's going to cost minimal 15k to reverse the damage they did. Pulling upper teeth that should of had complete denture and repairng the lower teeth that she ground down to nothing. I have had several doctors ask me what happened so I told them the truth. While trying to make the upper partial fit she ground my lower teeth like a horse and didn't even do it evenly disfiguring my teeth. Tthen i was told she shouldnt have ground my teeth it was the denture she should have been working on to fit properly.She has left me scarred and self conscious of the way I look which is the complete opposite of what they were telling me the whole time. Omg if you only knew the pain and heart ache they put me through from all the shots in my mouth to the temporary teeth she put in that kept falling out even minutes after I left their office, to disfiguring my mouth. PLEASE PLEASE SEEK OTHER OPINIONS. I am so scared I have seen several doctors since trying to figure out just who and what procedures I should trust. If anyone had the same experience here please let me know!

They all were caring, thoughtful and very sincere with the best care for me & all the other patients that enter their office. Mrs. Lisa, went over & beyond to find me a good oral surgeon, that would also take my insurance too. She was very professional and I'm very grateful to her. She made me forget all my fears. I’m thankful for Angie, Anna, they give me the best quality care & kindness. Valley Dental Care at Plainfield has me for life. You’re giving me my confidence back, and with a beautiful smile. Negative experience: I wanted to be fair in my review and seek other opinions before I advised others who may seek care here. I was supposed to have a crown put on a root canal that was done by a specialist outside of Valley Dental care. When I went for sizing of the crown, Dr. Aparna began shaving down my tooth further with no numbing, I was never told why they were further shaving down my tooth, I have had root canals done in the past and never experienced this, first red flag. I was then sized and fitted with a temp. The temp did not last a day. I called to have it put back on but it never held. That was the second red flag. This began 4 months of back and forth, being sized and resized for a crown that never took because the tooth was shaven too low. I expressed this concern and they proceeded to cut into my gums to try and help the crown hold. During this time the temp would constantly fall off, while eating something soft, the temp came off again and cracked my tooth! At one of my last visits they told me because the tooth was now cracked my option was a bridge or implant. The bridge they were willing to do free of charge but at this point I had been going for 4 months with no success of fitting the crown or even a temp, I did not trust them with further work on my mouth. I have since been to another dental office and a family friend who is a dentist and both explained that they could have built up my tooth to hold the crown if it was shaven down too much. This was never suggested or communicated. I felt I was very patient and fair. I am now seeing another dentist who did offer to build up the tooth but it has decayed so much and I had an infection, the best route was to extract! I am so disappointed in how this office handled communication with me and my tooth. I am now having to pay more money to someone else and have been to my pcp doctor due to headaches from the infected tooth. I would advise anyone to do no more than a cleaning with this office.

Fantastic experience: This is the BEST dentist that I have ever had. She is talented and caring and gentle and an all around nice person. The staff is GREAT! Lisa is so caring and she goes the extra mile working to best utilize my insurance. She is personable and funny and really cares. Angie is always a delight to work with. Everyone at this office makes dental visits pleasant (and I am dentist phobic so this is saying a LOT!) Thank you all. I wish I had found this dentist and this office years ago.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Aparna is one of the best dentists I ever experienced. My 60+ year old mother recently had a severe toothache followed by headaches. One of my friends referred Dr. Aparna and we walked into the clinic without prior appointment. It was towards the end of business day and despite closing time and already occupied by other patients, Dr. Aparna and her staff were cordial enough to accommodate us, diagnosed the issues, clearly explained to us without any rush and suggested several options for our next steps. My mother had a tooth removed and she never felt a thing. According to my mother "I never felt a thing, she treated me so well that my stress subsided, and her words gave me lot of comfort. She consistently checked on me to make sure I am OK. I am very happy that we saw Dr. Aparna". This facility also has a very customer focused front desk and supporting staff. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and my mother is recovering very well. Thanks to Dr. Aparna and team.

This place is very neat and clean and the staff was very friendly and Dr.Aparna Gottumukkala is very skillful. My procedure was very smoothly and became normal with a couple of days . I’ve always been skeptical visiting dentist places as I feel they always find excuse to do unnecessary procedures..I’m glad that I found this place. Fantastic experience: I went to Valley Dental Care at Plainfield for my Grandmother appointment. Everyone was perfectly pleasant. The office was extremely clean and quiet. My Grandmother was little nervous about her Dental implants before the visit but Dr Aparna Gottumukkula amazed her and she was so caring, professional, and made my grandmother feel comfortable. Now my grandmother is so happy with her Dental implants.

Fantastic experience: My 11 year old daughter had to get, what we thought was 3 baby teeth pulled; ended up being 5 teeth!! She was so scared, physically shaking and on the verge of an anxiety attack, but the staff was amazing beyond words. I wish I knew the nurse's name that helped us, but she really saved the day! She eased all my daughter's fears, answering all of her questions, no matter how repetative they were, got her to calm down and get it done! Thank you Valley Dental Care and an amazing staff!!

Fantastic experience: This office is great, very friendly and welcoming staff all around. They go out of their ways to accommodate needs. I've had multiple dentists offices tell me braces would never work for my mouth ...this office had no issues, put the braces on an now I'm able to smile!! There's something about being able to smile, actually smile, that gives me a better outlook for my future. Got a bit left to go before I'm completely done but I'm absolutely % greatful and look forward to the future. I can't thank this whole team enough!!!

Fantastic experience: To me and my daughter the dentist was very straight forward and very honest. Her staff is just amazing, and do the most to make you feel comfortable. This year is my first year with them, had to get my wisdom top teeth pulled and it went amazing. It was quick and the next days I had little to barely any swelling or discomfort. Negative experience: My niece has been in braces for over 4 years, they are not making any progress. Very unprofessional someone should report them to the Board of Orthodontics. It is unhealthy to keep braces on for longer than 2 years she is compliant and treatment is paid for and they just don’t care.. I would not recommend this office to anyone!

My previous experience with a different dentist had me feeling a little anxious at first but I was put at ease with Dr. Aparna's kind and gentle demeanor. The entire process was done much quicker than expected and I had little to no swelling in the following days. I will definitely be returning to have my final wisdom tooth removed when it is time!

Negative experience: Stop accepting all insurance companies if you are not going to take care of your patients. I was literally sent on my way with a level 10 infection pain in my mouth. Dentist looked at the x-rays never looked in my mouth and sent me on my way with an antibiotic and told me to go seek help elsewhere. I was literally in tears. Thanks for all your help.

The receptionist asked me if I was in pain and immediately asked me to come over to fix the problem. That is what I call, an efficient and caring practice. My entire family was so pleasantly surprised how quickly and well they took care of me. Now we just transferred our records from our previous dentist to Valley Dental.

Negative experience: I knew I had to get one cavity filled but then I was told I had 2 more cavities. I have been having trouble eating sugary or cold foods. I just went back today because of it and the doctor put more filling on the first cavity and now it feels like I am hitting a nerve everytime I chew on either side of my mouth because of my teeth hitting each other. I would rate it a one but the women at the front desk are very nice.

Fantastic experience: I needed an extraction and was very apprehensive about finding a new dentist. The entire staff was very nice professional and welcoming. My procedure was done immediately after my teeth cleaning. It was done so quickly I could hardly believe Dr.Aparna was done!!! And greatly appreciated her asking if I was okay during the entire service. Even after the numbing wore off… no pain or discomfort. The next day I stopped in to personally thank the staff ….AGAIN…..for such a great experience. Awesome job!!

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Valley Dental Care located at Plainfield. Team was very professional examining and providing right solutions by priority. Their explanations on their solutions was very educative and makes you feel comfortable on taking right decisions. My mom had to do tooth extract and her gums were severely infected and she was on her painkillers before we approached Valley Dental Care..Dr Aparna (DN) did a great job! I strongly felt that my mom was in good hands. She was very knowledge, gentle and kind to her throughout the process and also during the follow up visits. She explained very well on what was causing the issue and what next needs to be done. Pre and Post process requisite including medications and timelines are very well explained and made to follow and what more do we expect?? Overall it’s a great place to take care of your teeth. The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous and friendly staff made me feel like the safe place for my oral care. Would highly recommend to anyone !!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Aparna Gottumukkula's for many years. She has been incredibly professional in her work and in the treatment plans she advises when there are several options to consider. Recently, I had been battling an infection in a back molar. Antibiotics were not clearing it up. After 6 weeks of dealing with this, I had to finally get the molar pulled. Dr. Gottumukkula took me on Good Friday and had the tooth out in literally 10 minutes! WHAT A PRO! Not only that, she wouldn't charge me!!! WHAT? I sincerely could not believe it! She also has the most lovely staff. They actually know my voice when I call! I once didn't realize I had a balance on my bill and they never once hounded me for it. They just asked me for it the next time I came in.....A YEAR LATER! They said, "we knew you would take care of it when you came in the next time" WOW! I feel just like I'm among friends when I'm there. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone!

Came in for a filling on my front tooth did a amazing work. No fear or pain again AMAZING. Also they are putting braces on both of my daughters. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Negative experience: I have been tried more than 10 dental offices in past 5years in this area, this is the worst place ever! I had a horrible experience with my filing it came out uneven with extremely pain . Went to other office and got fixed my pain. DON’T waste your TIME and MONEY! Would not recommend this place!

Negative experience: Dr Aparna your office manager said you had surgery yesterday Thursday July 23rd if you would like to know what is going on behind your back when ever you come back in the office, like I said i have what I have and I could tell you what "Karen" called me over the phone. If you care I'm open to letting you know what really happened because if "Karen" wasn't lying apparently I said stuff to Angie when I didn't even higher my voice to Angie if Angie is honest she would tell you that. And before any more lies come from "Karen" i have no issue against Angie. She was never the issue my issue was with the policy I was told is in place which I dont believe a minor under 6 should be left in a car running or other wise and definitely shouldn't have policy that they should go in dr office where the parent doesn't not see them alone either while the parent has to stay in the car. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR 2 GEAR OLD AND 4 YEAR OLD TO GO IN ALONE WHILE YOU THEIR MOTHER IS TOLD TO WAIT OUTSIDE. I HAVE THEM RECORDED TELLING ME THAT AND YET THERE WAS A MOTHER INSODE WAITING ON HER DAUGHTER WHO WAS MINIMUM 12 YEARS OLD

Negative experience: I’m honestly shocked at all the 5 star reviews. This is the worst dentist office I’ve ever been to. I used to come here and every time I had a cavity filled my bite was so uneven. I would voice how my bite was uneven and they wouldn’t even out it out correctly because my bite was always so uncomfortable. Once I also had a cavity, it was evident that it was deep based on the x rays & my immense tooth pain. They let me know that they’d drill it which even with my mouth being numb was incredibly painful. I kept getting an abscess on my gum from that tooth and ended up having to get a root canal (which should’ve been done in the first place); I didn’t get the root canal done here, thank god. Once I left this office and started going to a new office, my current dentist was shocked at how horrible my fillings were done and had to redo all of them. Please save your time, money, and mental health and do not go here.

Negative experience: First trips where great. Then they tried to look at my son's teeth. They where forceful, impatient, and mean to him. He was three. He has disabilities which make it hard for him to communicate. He was terrified, they didn't try and talk to him, explain anything or be gentle. They practically shoved us out the door with their parting remarks being that he would have to be sedated and here is someone else's place to do it at. The only thing my kid did was cry and not want to open his mouth. Well we went to where they told us to go. New dentist was horrified by what they said and how they treated my son. They said he did great, he even told me how well he did. He was so happy. I was so upset by the experience at valley that I just couldn't deal with fixing my first review at first. I now have. I don't recommend you bringing your kids here.

Fantastic experience: Great place, when you call them you can always can get an appointment in a reasonable time (Sometimes that day even). Very nice staff have been cared by two of the doctors and both are understanding of my concerns.Overall will be returning for all my dental work in the future.

Fantastic experience: Love my dentist. If you need any work done from just a check up and cleaning to something major like a root canal. The whole staff is amazing. I’ve taken my daughter here as well she is four and they did great with her. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by a friend who is a patient, and she was absolutely right.. Valley Dental is great! The office got me in 2 days from when I called! Doctor was caring, gentle and quick. I had 3 extractions done when I went in and I did not have to wait. She was patient with my pain and fear as well!! Definitely recommend!
